Even if u gained weight, it was muscle mass and not fat based weight.
Your fat percentage would hv dropped.
Happy for ur transformation 🤗
Yeah exactly, thank you 😘
Yay, I think so too
She is so correct. I am jumping for 20mins 6days for one month. I am on day 4. You definitely feel pain while jumping if you are a beginner and also I don't feel much pain like before. Also walking 6days for 1hour for one month. Using Phoenix Nation 20mins jump rope Challenge.
Walking everyday is also so good!!!
How are you doing now? Did it work Well for you?
@@eh8854 The jumping rope? It did wonders :)
Jumping on a yoga mat helps with not hurting your knees! Initially it's weird, but then you get a good hang of it!
True I'll try it out next time :)
@BlaZe Excalibur wow definitely gonna try that
@BlaZe Excalibur can i do without rope, imagine that i am doing with rope. Coz in house there is not much space, if i do inside home then i break so many things with rope. So i am doing imagination that i am doing skipping with rope. Is it same benefit
@@yogaam2842 if there's absolutely nothing u can do, then maybe u can do that, but to me it sounds not so much beneficial, hear me out, yes u do the same motions, but u don't get the weight of the rope that u wud revolve ur body around if u had had one, when u jump rope, ur intensity, number of skips, stamina everything is taken into point, and it may/may not lead u to results, but I'm sure that if one day u pick up the rope and try to jump u won't feel like u know anything, cuz jump roping has the rope as the most crucial part
Try to make some space out, even if that's little, and u can start little, like 50 one day, then u can build up
"those calves though" yup thaaats what I was looking at..
hahaha right??? I was so surprised when I saw them 😂
Weightloss is a journey in itself. Healthy habits and lifestyle can make you loose weight so easily. I took 2 week 1000 jump rope challenge just with a 15 minutes workout you can loose 2 to 3 kgs in a month which is awesome 👌. Instead of just thinking we should be little active and we can loose weight slowly slowly.
Totally agree on this! There’s lots of comments on this video asking whether this will help loose weight quickly and it’s more about the combination of how you implement this challenge within your lifestyle (I believe) than just focusing on only doing this challenge

I've started this workout from today onwards. I couldn't jump 1000 times in a row so I split it in sets of 50. 5 sec rest. Repeat.
I'm 95kg and 5'7. I want to drop 30kg asap.
I will definitely do this workout every single day no matter what.
Thankyou!
Oooh perfect that you’re splitting it up! Make sure to not hurt yourself 💕
I've been doing this consistently for over a week now and the changes I have noticed :
1. I can easily do 1000 now, in sets of 200. So I do this for 20 minutes straight.
2. I have lost one inch from all over my body-arms, waist, hips, thighs.
3. I feel more energetic. So I have started extra 60min of zumba workout as well from this week onwards.
4. Getting such good sleep 😁
Note : I've been following calorie deficit diet as well since the beginning of my workout.

I'm on 3rd day and i feel so sore that i don't wanna stand up from bed but i pushed myself after watching your video 💖
Aah so good 🤩 don’t push yourself too hard and always listen to your body, but I’m proud of you for continuing!!
I love how personal this is. I’ve been jumping rope for 2 weeks now. Before I tried this, I watched a lot of YT vids for info & guidance. My primary goal’s not to injure myself. I’m sure I won’t be able to commit to this if I hurt myself. I used to play tennis & I understand how important the recovery process is & that you shouldn’t rush, else you just go back to square 1 or risk a much worse injury. It took me a year to do a full stretch without knee tenderness.
So on day 1, I did 500 jumps. I’ve been doing cardio regularly so I could still go forward after 500 jumps. My heart & lungs could still take it but I didn’t want to do damage on my shins so I stopped & did other HIIT workouts. So I personalized my JR sesh. On week 1, I did 500 jumps every other day. My active rest days are on days when I don’t do JR. I just work on my other muscle groups. 500 jumps on week 1 then added another 100 on week 2. I’ll add another 100 on week 3. I’m so excited when I see progress. It’s the best enabler out there!!
Coupled with pre-stretches & warm up & cool-down, I’M LOVING IT 💜🤍 I totally agree with you! I love how I’m getting stronger each day. 💯 This motivates me more than having an hourglass bod. My bod type won’t be able to achieve that anyway. I feel healthy, I get to sleep 7-8 hours a day. My lifestyle’s changing for the better & I won’t change it for any other thing. I’m now stronger in consciously deciding what’s good for my bod.
I also love your measurements, realistic. 😃 The inches lost on your abs, amazing!
Thanks again for this!!
Thank you so much for your comment and for sharing your story!! you're doing amazing and I totally agree that it's more important to feel strong and healthy in your body 💪
I like how think. Each one knows what's better for his body. I started with 1000 and was planning to add 100 ever day, but i was sore and I dreaded the moment to skip. So i decided to maintain 1000 skips and for day after day, and the resting days i will do some zomba

Hi.. i have a lower body fat . Big thighs. Will this help to reduce it? Please reply
@@manasisamanta3323 it will help to reduce the loose muscles in your thighs....there might be inch loss as well...but it kind of bulks your thighs muscles as well.

This might be a weird question, but did you not sweat a lot? I see you wearing a lot of ‘normal’ clothes so I was wondering if with this workout you don’t sweat a lot haha. One thing that ruins my motivation to work is getting into fitness clothes 😂 Weird af, but seeing you in clothes that look like they’re normal clothes (or else your sports wear looks incredibly chill haha) and then do the workout, makes me think it’s possible to do this in normal clothes haha. I hope this still makes sense lol it sounded better in Dutch in my head 😅
Hahaha girl, I get you! For me the workout is actually less 'annoying' than the changing of clothes (even though workout clothes are comfy haha). Thanks for your question because it's a very good one. I didn't really have problems sweating excessively, but I did keep it in mind. Sometimes I regarded it as a warmup for a short workout and then I'd change clothes, but I usually either worked out before I showered (so with my chill home clothes/pajamas on and then I'd shower), or I'd do it slowly and with some breaks in between so I wouldn't sweat, but we were under lockdown anyway so if I did feel sweaty I could still easily shower since I was home 24/7 hahaha. The one thing I couldn't live without is a sports bra, which was sometimes annoying to put on (ik moest mezelf wel echt forceren om van bh te wisselen 😅, not always easy). And don't worry it sounded as great in English as I imagine it would in Dutch!!
did you jump a 1000 straight or did you cut it up and took a break between each 100 for example? I love your energy!
Hey! Sometimes I did split them up per 100, but often I did them within a timeframe of 30 minutes (so just with small breaks in between). Near the end of the 31 days, I was able to do a 1000 straight and thank you 😘
@@AllEmilie great 👍 right now I do it splitting them in 100 with 10 sec break.

I always wanted to try this challenge. Yet, I always end up getting a really severe muscle pain huhu. Did you have any warm up routines or stretching before proceeding to the jump rope? If yes, could u share it? huhu sending lots of luv ❤️❤️
Hey! I didn't really do any stretching before the jumps (except if I was super sore from the day before). Though, if I feel some pain I would just stop for a second and stretch out that exact pain or make sure you jump on a soft underground (maybe use a thick mat). Also, if you're in pain don't jump a 1000! Split it up :). Where was your muscle pain?
@@AllEmilie I usually experience the muscle pain in my calves 😭 and it took me 2 weeks before I felt no pain at all
@@hanslexidelosreyes732 Hmm that's really annoying! I had the same that sometimes I would feel the pain, but then after some time my calves became stronger so it became less of an issue. I think it's very important to know when not to jump, or when to do it very slowly. I also noticed that at the beginning I was less aware of how I landed my jumps! So after some days, I really focused on trying to land softer. Stretching can also relief some tension!!
Thank you for your tipsss 😭 I'm really glad that I learned a lot from u!! Stay safeee 💙❤️💙

If a person is overweight.can they do jump rope..will it affect on knee joint...i feelpain in ankle while doing this..so 100 is maximum i did..pls suggest me some tips..love from india
Hey! I'm not sure, but if you can do 100 that's definitely a great start (100 is also a lot) :) Don't rush and listen to your body. My mom can't do a 1000 either, but she likes to do a few jumps sometimes
A lot of the time, people who weigh more tend burn more because the body has to put in more effort to do the movements. If 100 is comfortable for you, that’s all that matters! And when your ankles may feel sore and ache, definitely take a break, maybe take a rest day or put off the rest of the workout. Applying heat may improve circulation around your joint as well and hopefully relieve some ache. Good-luck! You got it!
Thanku both of you

Hey!!! Even at the start you could complete 1000 in 16-30 mins? I can do only 60 in 1 min max 😭
Hey, thanks for your message! It's normal if it doesn't go as fast, 1000 jumps is very intensive for your body. In the past I used to dance 13+ hours a week including ballet which is a sport with lots of jumping, so I think my body was also 'used' to it, even tough it's been a while since I dance. As tips for you I can say to not force doing more jumps than you feel your body can handle! To jump softly and slowly and to also try and enjoy it :) and remember 60 jumps in 1 minute is a loooot haha I also had days it took me longer or I did it two turns
did u lose a lots of weight? sorry for asking sensitive question.. I just wanna start exercise because my weight started increasing and my bmi are not normal level anymore 😢

Hey :) It took me on a good day a bit less than 20 minutes (+/-17min), but it often took me 30 minutes :). It just depends on how many breaks you take!
What specific time you do the challenge ?
It depended on the day, often somewhere between my classes or meetings, or before breakfast/lunch/dinner. Never really at the same time :)
Hey, can i ask sth :((
Can I break up the workout? I googled that you can do 100 jump ropes in 30s, i meant i can do more in 30s. So if I split it into 3 workouts in the morning (7 AM), noon (3:30 PM), and afternoon (5:30 PM) for 7,5 mins or 10, I still complete 1000 jump ropes per day. Is that possible? Because I'm a busy person and English is not my mother tongue.
Yes that's definitely possible :D I think if you do 7.5-10 min 3 times a day you'll reach 1000 jumps for sure!

I do 400 jumps,is that ok?
Definitely! That's already a lot ☺️ Good luck
How did you manage to jump in the shark week???
The two days I didn't jump was partly because of my period! Though the other days I did jump! I think I'm used to being active on those days, but if the flow or pain is too hard, I would recommend resting or taking your time :)
My ankle hurts so much...more than my knees...huhh😩...you did any kind of diet also?❤️
Oh be careful! If it hurts too much maybe let your ankles rest a bit, or don’t do as many jumps. You’re probably either landing wrong, using the wrong shoes or jumping on the wrong underground (maybe it would help to jump on some kind of yoga mat).
And with regards to the diet, I did not change anything to my diet ☺️
Ahh..maybe u r right..I'll surely notice what is hurting me..btw thanku so muchh 😘❤️And thats a great relief u never gave up on food..hehe ❤️❤️
@@smritisrivastava2711 Haha I will never ever give up on food 😂
@@AllEmilie 😂😂❤️
How long do you take for 1000 jumps?
Hey! Usually between 16 and 30 minutes :) depending how many time I'd stop
As a former crossfitter and distance runner and having multiple surgeries that were excruciatingly painful the soreness from jumping rope is nothing. I'm used to soreness and honestly I enjoy the sore muscles. DOMS is my favorite part of fitness.
The surgery sounds very painful, but I kinda understand that you like sore muscles hahah
@@AllEmilie The surgery was to fix a concave sternum. That wasn't a comfortable 3 months.
Does it make your calves bigger? Like very bulky?
Hey! For me it did a bit, but not too much I thought it was still pretty :)
@@AllEmilie Thank you soo much
Your are underrated🔥
Right??! hahahah just kidding, thank you for your support !
@@AllEmilie did u check your weight before and after ?
@@samsj1401 Yes I did! I gained a bit of weight probably because of muscle gain
I’m shocked you only have 600 subscribers
Meanwhile I'm impressed that I even have 600 hahaha, but thank you :D
Is this good exercise to have a flat stomach?
If you combine this with a good diet and an overall active lifestyle you'll certainly see results in terms of muscle building up :) but I can't promise you that you'll get a flat stomach by just doing this challenge ☺️
Hey, can someone suggest a good pair of shoes for jump rope. I am from India.
I wear ascics with gel, they're normally for running but I like them for jumping too :)
Hello

From India 🇮🇳
Hello!!!
Subbed❤️
Thank you
Is it good to jump rope while menstrel period???
I'm not sure if it's good! Though I did it and for me it went fine :) I'd recommend to listen to your body and take some rest if you're in too much pain, but it might also help to move your body a bit :)
👍✌️
Idk how you do it... I barely did 3 days because of how sore my calves and feet were
Oh no 😅 Maybe if you try and build it up? So first try 200 a day and then slowly build it up? :)
A good warm up and a good cool down will help :D
I can do 200 easily. My problem is, idk if I'm doing to much to soon. I use to do it 30 minutes but since I'm starting back up, I'm only doing 20. I am falt footed as well, and the soreness is where my arch is supposed to be 😐
@@ritumeena3512 my problem is.... idk to exactly cool down on this 😓
@@solidsnake8331 Ah sounds painful! Maybe doing 20 minutes for now is better then, I hope it's better soon!!
I wanna hear some changes from your friend stephanie. Does she lose weight? And im worried about my calves getting BIGGER than mg big calves. Btw im so inspired on your journey. You earned a subscriber here 💚💚
I have a combination of muscular and fatty calves. I wanna slim down those. Does jump rope helps?
Hey, I will ask her once I see her again :) My calves have always been my most muscular body part I have, so for me it is natural that they got so defined! I wouldn't be worried of them getting bigger, it's normal and it will help absorb the shock of jumping when you land. and thank you so much :D
@@alfranceshannahdevera1542 For me the jump rope helped to define them harder, my calves have always been kinda muscular and jumping made them stronger. So, I'd say it helps to tone them though I'm not sure if it'll help you loose fat in that area
@@AllEmilie thank you so much. I've been jumping ropes for 2 days now. I wanna reach 1000 per day but i can only do 300 for the first day and 420 today. Hoping to improve.
@@AllEmilie i'd love to hear about her weight loss and calves too (if she's comfortable talking about it) since her body type and mine are similar in some ways. Thank uuu
Excellent. How long does it take per day? One hour? Two?
Thank you :) and it took about 15-30 minutes a day (with some breaks in between)!
