It's probably grounding on your custom handlebars. The horn button normally connects the ground negative to close the circuit loop. So it's possible a piece of metal is somehow touching the bars and closing the loop.
You have a short in the wiring. Once my dirt bike just turned off miles up in the mountains. I replaced the spark plug, still nothing. Turns out the kill switch was grounding on the handlebars. One of the guys I was riding with told me to take the kill switch off the bars. I did and it started. There was a burn mark from arching on the bars. If I were you I would start looking for burn marks on stuff. If you have wires running through the frame take it out and inspect the wiring.

This is the favorite vehicle you work on I can't really say why, it's just cool to ride something that small and try to make it go as fast as a big bike It's so low to the ground, it's like driving a go kart, but in this case riding a mini bike I read some previous comments pertaining to this vlog, people can be really cruel, I myself wrote some nasty comments on other major motovloggers, and I think they pretty much deserved it, but my conscience tells me to me nice to everyone, always, remember what Karma can do, but not just for fear of that, but just because we all should be nice to each other Ride safe and have a good one

also the rectifiers are known to blow, causing high voltage to surge through all the wiring, burning out all electronics and possibly frying the battery so always carry a spare one and use a battery meter on the bike while running if you see it go over 14v turn it off
had a VERY similar issue on my PGO G-Max that was cutting out in the same manner, found out that it was my fuse box. re-crimped all legs and bought brand new fuses of high quality and it was sorted. The horn thing i would guess that you have a few wires that have been and might still be pinned when turning
Hey Moto, my gy6 swapped ruckus had the same issue with the horn going off on left turns. Found out it was grounding out in some spots just re-routed the wiring harness so it wasn't as tight against the frame. Also when you turned the throttle and it sounded like it was bogging, mine did that as well. Mine was the fuel pump was going out then finally decided to fully quit. Mines torn back down now going to fuel injection.
Perhaps it could be an ignition barrel problem. My Wr125 kept stalling and refusing to start whenever I turned left and even when the steering was starightened, it turned out to be a loose wire that had broken free from its solder. This may be no help at all but I'm just trying to help, I know how frustrating it is 😡
the horn seems to go off every time you turn the bars. hopefully just a connection issue from tear down and re build. so I don't think it's part of the current issue.
Hey Moto it seems that your horn only turns on when you turn your bars her make sure that the wire harness is not in the way and getting marked and pinched by the steering stem
Its been sitting a while so I would clean the carburetor and put some fresh gas in. Break out that multi-meter and look for that short. Seems like once the bike is at temp that's when the short comes to life. I would check the stator.
What exactly is that little black box do on then tell you there's power in the harness my moped doesn't have anything like that in it even my Honda 125I doesn't have that box ???

Hey man I know it's probably nothing but I just wanted to let you know that I noticed your horn goes crazy only when you tilt the handlebars to make a turn. Maybe when this movement happens, you pressure something inside the bike? Maybe this affects a connection. Anyways I hope I gave you some kind of help, I'm nowhere near an expert on these things, great content as always keep it up!
It was said many times, but it deffintly looks like you have a short somewhere. Possibly a pinched wire causing feedback through the system...Asian motors electrical can get some nasty ghosts. Also said many times is possibly fouled fuel from sitting... It could be part of your bogging issue. Get a can of Seaform, dump it in the tank and fill her up. It should eat the varnish in the system and help. Worse case; it will just clean stuff the fuel system and valves/combustion chambers
IDK if this has been asked before or maybe it already happened & I forgot, but has Abby taken the ruckus for a ride after you finished the build series? I remember she rode it before the series while it was still stock but it'd be interesting to see her thoughts on the tricked out ruckus
You wouldn’t have these issues with a Rolling Wrench GY6 harness :-) it uses all of Honda’s original design. Why change the design, just asking for problem, I know from experience :-) I love the vid. I sent you a private Instagram message if you are interested.
Listen to the wizard! I'd still do the ecotrons fuel injection kit and the ncy direct ignition coil kit couple with that gy6 harness and you'll be in good shape.
you know you could of kept the stock ruckus wiring harness and with a few cut wires connect the gy6 engine to it. at least that way your running off mostly all honda wiring thats pretty proven to work for a long time, even using the stock fuel pump for easier starting. save yourself a lot of time and money doing it that way

check the whole harness around the front of the bike. the horn sounded during left turns, so wires are getting pinched when you turn

Mine did the same thing for a while I enede up buying a new racing cdi and that fixed the problem of it cutting off in mid throttle

Looks like it has a grounding issue somewhere. Probably in the front end of the bike I would guess
