@@ParadiseBiker Most likely, carbs are finicky with old gas. I saw he replaced the jets which is good. But also if the jets were adjusted dirty or one of the passage ways is clogged it needs to be retuned.
@@motonosity Sounds like you may want to pull the plug and clean it. It sounds more like a misfire. Worth checking it out. I watched the entire build series whilst you were doing it. Loved it. It was so different. But anyway, pull that plug. Old fuel shouldn't really make it break up like that. Check, clean, re-gap, and maybe even replace the spark plug. Ride hard dude.

If it's got a high comp piston, cam and running rich which is sounds like it, it will keep the plug from getting blown out at high RPM causing the misfire. Needs less voltage to cross the gap, side effect is coil will last longer too.

To me it sounds like you need to go up a size in the main jet/adjust your air fuel mix screw. It still seems to not be too happy I remember last time you made a video on it it was going the same thing.
I bet ya if you tune the carb more it will gain speed and acceleration cause it sounds mean now but you can hear it was at 1 solid rpm the whole time until you got to the down hill than it went up ever so slightly if it wasnt starving for fuel it would be hauling
Are you still using stock GY6 150 cc cylinderhead and stock cam? I’m building GY6 motor 170 cc Taida with forged 61 mm high compression piston, Naraku big valve cylinderhead with 28.5 mm intake valve and 23 mm exhaust valve (still must be ported), A8 performance camshaft, 30 mm CVK carb, modified performance intake (originally it has very sharp short side with bad flow). No performance exhaust yet, but I took off that catalysator from it. It’s not going to Ruckus. It’s going to Chinese Baotian scooter which is originally 125 cc.
Remove the old one and inspect. Is it a 4 stroke or 2 stroke? If is a common newer chinese pos look up qmb139 standard belt size. You really need more info than its a 50cc. Cause really guy? You probably shouldn't install it with your lack of knowledge .
Thomas Taylor I got it with no belt on its a 1997 Honda pai 2 stroke I'm been looking on the internet to find out size put no luck (Quite new to mopeds as been working on dirt bikes the whole time and I don't now nothing about moped belts)
@Jordan Lyfofd that is the same scooter in the states known as a Honda Elite E. You cannot cross reference that drive belt and it is a dealer only part. I tried, sorry you can only buy it from Honda dealer.
sounds like a air leak,, I know that's a real name brand carb but you should try the stock one to see if it still does that, or try ordering a cheap 26mm carb 30bucks on ebay just to narrow it down to see if its a carb issue,,, great build tho
@@roberttimmons5638 right but will not solve just a bad carb.. air leaks are one thing but a shitty carb is another. iv had 30dollor carbs work better than 150 carbs and solve problems .so I guess u didn't read my comment right because I said could be a air leak or could be a carb issue .sometimes its just not the right carb for you set up and just simply trying another carb to see if it still does the same thing is a lot faster than trying 10 other things first . like I said iv been through that 1000 times in my 40 years so yes what you said is true "sometimes" but a air leak is not hard to find most of the time so I wouldn't think its that anyway

check your float height. raise it 1mm or so. sounds like cutting out cruising.

Tommy Brumfield no need to replace carb to find air leak. A highly flammable solvent will expose any air leaks.
