I love your videos. They help me relax before bed. I am a therapist and I recommend you to my clients who need to find peace too.
I am 82 & redid old cottage at 62 when I downsized. YOU are Amazing, I now have new phone & can comment & see others!!I have actually cheered & cried seeing how you overcome obstacles, you are a Natural Beauty, love to see you make, model clothing! I enjoy when your parents visit, can understand the good work ethic you've inherited from them both. I was worried when you took new bike to get bldg supplies, prayed could get home OK!
Take care of yourself, wear gloves protect beautiful hands, BLESSINGS, Grma Nancy
I try to watch through all the ads, like and comment because I know it helps you out. That's the best I can do for you because in return, you give us your viewers so much more. Thank you🙏
I love how Rosie said ‘we did it!’ When she has completed everything alone
Argh NO Rosie is absolutely not alone, she knows we are coming along, side by side for her journey. Thank you Rosie for your wonderful creative energy you share so beautifully with us. We thank you indeed.
One thing that transcends in your videos, which I enjoy very much is the fact that you show a great sense of flexibility and acceptance for situations that didn’t turn out the way you expected. Sometimes things don’t work out as you had hoped for. The lumber doesn’t fit the way you thought it would or something doesn’t turn out as expected or some complication arises. In light of this I think highly of how you react and respond to these unforeseen circumstances. All your frustrations are short lived. I admire how you always adapt, find creative solutions and willfully think positively. I like to see you remain cheerful and resourceful towards your projects. I must say that I also highly rate your graphic planning. These are skills that are rare and contain, I know, the secret of happiness.
The harmonious colors, materials and textures in the guest house will make it a lovely cozy nest for you to shelter in whilst you accomplish great things in the main house.
A really elegant solution to mounting that towel rail Rosie. It's all coming along so nicely, steadily and organically.
All of my 2 week projects turn into 2 month projects. I started a greenhouse build in February here it is April and it's almost done...not easy sometimes doing things alone but the satisfaction of creating the challenge and then completing the challenge is so worth it.
Lol, this is so true!
I feel you! The list of "easy to do in a couple of days" things is getting longer and longer... But turns out, most of the stuff needs a couple of weeks (including preparation etc) 😂
You aren't alone❤ stay strong anddon't give up we always expect things to be done on our expectations when that's not necessarily how things turn out, but the lessons along the journey are the biggest eye-openers ment to understand the improvements and appreciation of knowledge and experience and evaluation; no matter how far I've come nor where I've come from everything always turns out the same. Entertaining as always, Rosie! I really do look forward to your Sunday videos, it's just not a Sunday without them. And, oh, I want to give you an extra "+" for your creative way of using your drone. Looking at many RUclips videos you kind of get the impression that many drone users seem to think they can only be used for high altitude moving shots as opposed to static ones. It's really refreshing to see how little movement there is in some of your drone shots, and you do really see that you've got a good eye for composing shots. Well done!
Thanks! I’ve actually been surprised at how ‘easy’ it’s been to get shots with the drone. And the quality is good too, even though I got one of the more budget ones
Came to the comments to say this as well. I don’t think a lot of people realize how much work goes into getting “b roll” footage for youtube, how much thought goes into getting pleasing views and shots and you, Rosie, take it up another notch. Your videos are so soothing and lovely. ❤
Soothing is the perfect word.
The addition of your aerial camera has taken this site to the next level. You can do ANYTHING! Keep going🌻Laura in Texas
Dear Rosie,
apart from being a great Interior Designer and Carpenter, your Skills of Filming and taking Fotoshoots are incredible!!! I love the style of "Movie" of your Homesteadstory. When I have a little mad Day, your Videos are giving me comfort. Thanks for being, like you are. ❤
Regards from the Canary Islands, Lanzarote
Andrea ❤
I wish you put some different music on
I just had a miserable day and it's not even 6 here where i live.
So seeing a video from you, made my day. I love youre creativity and the relaxing and positive vibes of youre Videos. I hope you have a great rest-weekend :).
Lovely to think that when ur parents come to visit next they will have a re vamped guest house, so having this little place is very handy, especially whilst doing up ur cottage 😊🏡
You're so inspiring--I'm 56, and have begun looking for a fixer-upper here in the States. I've never owned property, but I am pretty handy, and I would love to take a small house and create a forever home. I wonder if you realize what your Sunday videos mean to so many people? Happy Easter, take care, and keep going! 🏠🏠💖💖
It looks so magical in there and it’s like a holiday cottage.
I can't wait to see the photo of it taken from the outside at night with lights on in windows)))
As a Mum of grown kids. I would like to say how proud of you I am. You have taken yourself out of the normal life into something that you had not a lot of skills but have learned along the way to make a dream life for your self. Congratulation
Fixing the gap in the floor was amazing. You are such a positive influence. I admire all of your skills!
You are making such wonderful progress. Staying in the little house will be a new adventure and still give you a level of comfort while working on the main house. I do love watching your progress as I work on my own home.
people say, "I have enough knowledge to be dangerous." It's clear you have enough knowledge to be brilliant. A neophyte might make a problematic towel rack, an expert might make a sturdy soulless functional towel rack. You made a functional towel rack that adds to the design ethos. I love it.
The branch towel rail is a wonderful creation,
You are an inspiration, please consider showing us how to use the tools and what they’re called as well as step-by-step what you’re doing and even you’re a mistakes are a learning experience.
Rosie NEVER feel guilty, i make myself ill about what I haven’t gotten done…. In 7 YEARS 😢 due to 4 failed back operations. I once had a lovely clean, organised home and now its guddle, filth and mess😞💔 i make myself so ill over it. Don’t worry about being a little behind, don’t let it make you feel how i feel🙏🏽 it’s a horrible feeling seeing everything i want to do and used to be able to do, and just can’t get to it all😢 i have 2 children so managing to do basic housework and looking after my kids, and chores is about all I get through now. My husband works full time and he can’t use a screwdriver let alone repair anything 😂 so it’s ALL waiting for me to do! I mean the WHOLE house, the garden, EVERYTHING!😩☹️ so you be VERY proud of what you have done already and in so little time 👏🏽😊 and look how far you have come!!👏🏽👏🏽♥️♥️♥️xxxx
I think, the cabin is coming together very nicely. Love the branch towel rail, it's giving me such cozy vibes - a little piece of those beautiful woods inside a home :-)
And I would like to thank you for your videos, they're keeping me company in my gloomy days and give me inspiration to get up and do something. Thank you.
I wish you a lot of sun to dry your shoes and lots of smiles when things go a different way than we expected 🤩
I am just a guy watching you I’m just watching, but you have seen to everything except a few things your parents helped you with , you take us with you and I personally love to watch you in your element to do everything, and I must say your an amazing young lady because I’ve seen you at your best and at times when your not to good in yourself and you needed to get away which is understandable so now I watch you doing this 👍
So glad to see my buddy again. I look forward to you every week, Rosie. I may need to see about a 12-Step program or hope someone develops a Rosie patch to get the monkey off my back.
hahaha
@@wildrosie 😉🙂
The closing of the gap in the floor was so satisfying!!! Looks great Rosie!
Your tree towel rack doesn’t have to be smooth, its nicer being left natural….good job,its coming along nicely
The addition of the drone footage is great!
First ;-) Good to see you again
The panoramic video you filmed is lovely. You are reminding me of a nordic mystery book writer that I used to love. He seemed to be able to describe the atmosphere of that place which is so cold and beautiful.
Guest house-home at home, looks charming. I agree that some inexpensive rug(?) Might add a little something. You are doing so very well.😊
Good morning from Virginia USA
It's so nice to watch your videos and see unspoiled Sweden.
It’s really looking lovely! Can’t wait for next week!
A friendly reminder, Rosie, in case you can't find your little hand saw? I saw you leave it where you were trimming the branch you harvested.
🌿💐🌿🙂😊😘🌿💐🌿
Tree branches have become quite popular in home decorative/alternative features. This idea could give you a plethora of ideas to save money on. Even door or draw handles in the kitchen/bathrooms. May I add a tea blend you might like. I’m a lover of herbal teas and I like organic chamomile and chai blended tea. I use honey to sweeten and just add a dash of my favourite milk. Oat milk is very nice. I use it for a nice sleep and for anti inflammatory purposes. I do admire your creativity and videos. Sometimes I sit and binge watch them with my cup of tea. Blessings to you from Australia…. take care
Maybe if I resorted to lists, I wouldn't goof off so much...by goofing off I mean, sitting or wandering around looking for more projects to fulfill my fantasy dream home...girls are funny like that...'CUTE'...
Rosie, you may need a frame to protect your glass water dispenser from falling off the shelf!
The water jar will be very heavy even for brackets
I am loving the drone shots….your forest looks so fragile from the air. Not that you need more projects, but I wondered if a cordwood wall for the back of your greenhouse would work. It takes time (ah! Time!) but working with cordwood is manageable for most, and it would create a thick wall to gather warmth. You would have to frame the front enclosure and use glass windows. I had just been thinking about your greenhouse project that I see in some of your shots. Your greenhouse might even be useful during the winter. You can disregard this information as not useful and I won’t mind. It was just a thought and I wanted to suggest it before I forgot.
The fact that you cut the piece of flooring to such incredibly tight tolerances with a reciprocating saw (and I assume some sanding) is amazing. Such a small detail in your large project but impressive nonetheless.
I love how the guest house is coming together. Hopefully, @Jackery will sponsor your video with a portable battery bank so you don't have to lug the heavy one around.Maybe a rug company can sponsor you too?
Spring is definitely on its way. Happy Easter Rosie.
I've seen people make drawer pulls, knobs and handles with branches. Bamboo is nice too. The tiny house is coming together!
Rosie, I think you gave voice to my long held DIY motto, “it doesn’t have to be perfect, as long as it’s cute”! I love the tree branch towel rack! Always enjoy watching your progress. Thanks for sharing
Hi, Rosie. Your tiny house is looking cozy and attractive. I love the birch towel rack that you installed… very inventive. Your drone shots are so picturesque❤️
Yesterday and today it actually felt like spring here in Halmstad in the south 😃💗
Really respect & admire your ingenuity 😊 Reusing, upcycling materials is fantastic! Rugs with pads underneath will really elevate the space!
Your little house is looking so sweet. I love the stained wood and the rustic towel rail. Every time I watch your videos I marvel at what you are achieving and everything looks more beautiful.
I love watching your home progress. It is really inspiring/expansive for me as a woman to see this because in my mind's eye always the men in my life (my dad, my husband, my son) have done these types of things. I somehow assumed I wouldn't be capable! Now I ask myself why did I think that! Thank you!
that tree that you were so fond of is now part of your family tree
You will get it so cozy in the little cottage. 🥰
…..@ROSIE……CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE AN AMAZON WISH LIST SO WE CAN SEND YOU SOME THINGS.😊
Het ziet er elke keer mooier en mooier uit. Het wordt echt een prachtig huisje. Fijne paasdagen 💛🌱🐣
Im hoping that one day that I too can own a property like yours. ❤
Know you have many cheerleaders - cheering you on! And it's so exciting- seeing you set goals and seeing them through.
This is looking so good an cozy! And yes: brenches are a great thing. First thing my husband I did after moving into our new house was to build a lamp from a brench of one of our trees :)
Loved the beautiful purple Crocus with the yellow center, one of the first to emerge in spring.
Good to see you are branching out ;)
Thank You Rosie and happy easter!!
Happy Off Grid Sweden Farm Home Forrest Year to you Universual Dutch Natural Elfjes Queen.
Heel veel succes & plezier in jou eigen farm huisje...
Greetings, Mel from out of NL
Love love the branch towel rail. The piece of music you chose for the forest walk was gorgeous, so moving. Keep up the awesome work. Lisa
I love the tree branch towel rod...and you've mounted it in such a clever way! The V of a branch can serve as a way to mount the rod as well. A branch or length of bamboo also work great as a curtain rod too! Good work Rosie, as always.....
A wonderful productive week thanks Rosie. The drone footage shows the transition from winter to early spring landscape. I so love this added dimension to your vlog.
Next week promises to be epic!
Really nice to bring in a piece of that large birch, because I remember you saying when it fell, that it was one of your favourite trees. Birch is such a lovely wood too, and people who are into woodcarving etc would love to get a piece of that giant felled tree
That's looking so nice Rosie. I can't wait to hear what your parents think of it the next time they visit.
I love your drone shots 😃
coming together nicely! Love the tree branch towel holder!
Would love to see a behind the scenes of your filming and editing process one day. How you so perfectly weave all your footage together whilst still doing a task is incredible. All the hours of editing and telling the story afterwards. Really well done. Especially now you have the drone footage too. Just magical!
You do such a good job Rosie. You just push on with tasks and nothing fazes you, determination and wanting to see projects finished.
If you could drag one or several of those lopped birch trees across your driveway that would stop the unwelcome drivers pulling up onto your lawn! Each time I see them I think of that. 😊 Probably too big and heavy but they would do the trick, and you can still harvest them for their useful bits. 👍🤔
I love seeing all of your projects you come up with. Excited to see the guest house finished and all put together with furniture and decor!
This little project is turning into a lovely little home! Love the colours! Mooi gedaan!
You are really getting your moneys worth from that Biltema saw :) Seldom before has a Biltema saw been used more than 2 times
You are inspirational lady. Good job 👏 looks amazing 💓💓💓
Love the branch towel rod. Another nice video Rosie ! Thanks :)
You’re so creative. That branch towel rack is a beautiful solution. 😊
Yes. Decorate your house with the wonderful tree branches.
It looks so good Rosie. Your design style is lovely. And, you have given me the perfect entertainment, for being awake at midnight because I had an energy drink at 2pm to fuel my diy shade cloth frame 😁 project.
Love the towel branch, Rosie. 💗
You're doing such a great job. That snow is gorgeous. We don't get snow here so I'm enjoying yours.
Sweden is so beautiful
Love hiking here
you left us in the attic with all the ghosts there:)))) hahah
Wall plugs for your brackets would help steady the brackets long term.
It's coming along so cute, can't wait to see the finished guest house ❤
Once again, well done. You are totally on track. That space will be beautiful for you to live in.
So so lovely in there ❤
Making progrees Rosie! When putting up the shelf, another way is setting no 1 holder up, and then use the waterlevel to place no 2 correct, this way you dont have to scribe on your new paint!!
Nature is calling out to you and you are responding.
Every time I see there is a new video I am so happy! I love every minute of it, I feel as I was watching a film because you have become a professional at filming and editing, the music you choose is really beautiful and of course the content! I can’t wait to see how you are going to move in, how you will tackle whatever problems you may encounter. Rosie, thank you very much for sharing this experience.
You, and your journey. are very addictive,,, Thank You!!
I love your creativeness. More good work on tiny ❤
I love your style. And I also love that attic space! I appreciate you have plenty to do downstairs but what potential…
Thanks for taking us with you
There is something melancholic and beautiful in the sleeping nature around you. My favourite part was you going to the attic. Can't wait for you to work on it some day. 🤩
Ii absolutely love your channel and. Love what you ha e done ❤ from Blue Mountains 🇦🇺🌻
Some nice solutions. well done
Just discovered your channel and am really enjoying it! Your nature shots in here of hiking through the forest, combined with the music and aerial shots, are just fabulous. Brava! And of course all the projects you have going on are fascinating to watch. Love how you show us when things don’t go the way you envisioned, and how you move forward despite that. From a friend in Ohio, USA!
Beautiful countryside.
Always enjoy seeing your videos.
I love aspen for those types of projects , too ! And I need black screws and hooks today also . That dear tiny house is just becoming so pretty . You've done great !!
I mentioned pillar candles for heating tiny spaces last video and then I remembered the other way I've heated places for almost no cost and it was by leaving a 75 watt light bulb on in the space (incandescent) and it is amazing the heat you get .
I so love 💗 your design of using a birch tree as a towel rack actually it will stay with the bark for years and years why people use Birch wood to decorate you can even make candle holders and many other things…..Epic Job Rosie
Beautiful filming Rosie!❤
