    Greetings from the Isle of Wight, UK 👋. This is absolutely the best overview I’ve seen for this machine. I’ve been considering buying this model for a while and your video has made up my mind to get it. You have such a thorough but relaxed manner of presentation which made the whole thing as enjoyable as it was informative. Thank you !

    Your videos are simply the best and I refer to them frequently. Thank you! I purchased my Juki MO-1000 shortly after it came on the market, and I absolutely love it. Taught myself how to use all the various feet with much success. However, suddenly the machine will not make a chain, not making any stitches at all. I have cleaned it, put brand new needles in it, rethread from start to finish at least five times-nothing works. It is, however, running smoothly and quietly. Gary, what could be wrong?

    Amazing video. I never would have figured out many things about my Juki without it. However, I disagree that the instruction manual is clear, and I am really upset that I made a rookie mistake of pinning my fabric the way I would with a sewing machine and it broke the knife. I recommend the video, not the machine.

      Hi Pat, thanks for the vote of confidence in the video. Instruction books don't gel for everyone - if they did I wouldn't be making videos I guess. Don't be too hard on yourself for running over a pin, it's an easy mistake to make. Enjoy the machine however as it is an excellent high quality overlocker and definitely easier to use than most.

    • @EchidnaClub
      @EchidnaClub  3 года назад +1

      The numbers can be a little confusing. They do aim to represent the distance in mm from the cutting edge to the left or right needle - hence the varying numbers. My advice is to start at 3.5 setting and adjust as per the user manual.

      Hi Margaret - there are markings on the needle plate with seam allowance, but I tend to use the foot as my guide. Hi Gary, I have just unboxed my new Juki MO-2000 QVP.
    Can’t wait to get stitching. This might seem a silly question, but the name QVP , states Quilt Virtuoso Pro.
    Are there stitches which can be used , with blade up, for quilting? Or is it simply the name?

    I just purchased a MO-2000 (in America) after watching your video. I’m loving the machine, but I’m worried about the

However, we know these machines well, and the shaft of the upper looper needs a drop of oil. I would love to attach a photo, but I can't on here.
