As muck as I love watching your cleaning tips and tricks, please can we see more of your decluttering and house move, and I can't wait to see what beautiful ideas you have for your new home. Wishing you all well for the future. X
Your dog is on the sofa saying, " you do all the heavy work and I'll just watch" so cute! Great job, looks like the move is coming along! Thank you, have a wonderful weekend!
I have one of these, it’s been great with 3 children, dogs and foster dogs (who often aren’t housetrained 😬). You can use a special stain spray on it first before machining that comes with the machine. Another very helpful piece of kit is the Karcher window cleaning vacuum, absolutely brilliant, and a bonus is my children don’t mind using it too!
Hello Charlie , what a kind friend to loan you the carpet cleaner, looking forward to see the new house with good idea you come up with . Take care , wishing you all the best with the new house . Xx
Great machine - I have just used mine to clean the area by the lift in our flats, all carpet tiles. I think your carpet is a Shiraz runner, hand woven, probably not too old. I would be wary of using this on older, more antique carpets, especially with the Vax cleaning solution. Maybe a light rinse. Great on wall to wall or carpet tiles.
I have had one of these since I borrowed it from a friend and was converted. Given we have 3 dogs a fuse to have horses so ideal. Mine does a rinse as well after you have washed it and the same principle interms of pulling back to draw the water out. It’s a bit of a faff to clean the the brushes but my tip is to do it every time you use it. Even though like you I vacuum thoroughly beforehand, the black Labrador hairs are very prevalent! Thanks for sharing
Rug cleaner did a good job, the clip with Lola under the table with tennis ball, looking at you, was like a Tottering by Gently, Annie Tempest, cartoon. x
Carpet cleaner 😊I have one ,comes out every year for the bedrooms & rugs .. I mostly have wooden floors .The reason I didn’t want to hire anymore ,is the smell of the hire ones and the houses that it’s cleaned before 🤢 highly recommend getting your own if you can afford one and find a place store it
Thanks Charlie, another helpful cleaning tip.... so useful. You'll be leaving a super clean house for the new owners! 😊❤ Btw will the new owners be carrying on the B&B?

The Dr Beckmann carpet stain remover is fantastic. I’ve taken dried in red wine out of a cream carpet with and you would never know.
