    This came at the perfect time. My brain is so hard wired to check to see if I did things right, even breathing... :( it's tiresome. But now I can set new goals to allow myself to make mistakes. Thanks for helping me understand my situation better

    Subscribed! Can you share you thoughts on this? I feel like It's easier said than done: we should tie our self worth to the effort we put in rather than to the achievement.

      I appreciate it! One helpful perspective may be to focus on what is within our control (effort) rather than what is outside our control (outcome of effort). Like you said, it is easier said than done and it takes time/practice for change to happen. I'll make a note to expand on the topic of self-worth in a later video!
