    I watch a lot of different woodworkers but of all of them you are the best. No one deserves a better workshop more than you. Congrats on the new house and can't wait to see more videos (including the building of your new workshop from the ground up)....please keep the great videos coming and stay safe.

    Hi, your one inch belt sander is a Viel. This was a small shop in Île Verte, Quebec, Canada. There tools were pretty much hand made and worked great if you ever come across their shaper blade sharpener jump on it. Great video.

    • @KomarProject
      @KomarProject  3 года назад

      Thanks so much Maurice ! That sander has been a life saver for the little I spent on it.

    Congrats on the house dude! We just recently moved and packing up my shop (I was working out of an 10x12 shed) was a real pain. Now I'm working out of a 2 car garage and hopefully will build a dedicated woodshop in the next 5 years. I can't wait to see your new setup!

    I live how you have reused, recycled, repurposed, and refurbished so many of your pieces, to honor the vintage and keep stuff out of the landfills and proved, One man's trash is another man's treasure! Nice job in so many ways!

    Cool workshop. Thank you for the tour. Inspiring to build my own workshop as part of my holistic therapy as healing from paternal abuses.. Repair the 1800 era work table Sir, you wont regret it..an attachment to ancient era of woodworking while.working, that's a nice feeling.. it would be sad to just turn into an office table.. God bless Sir.

    I remember in my younger years (not that I’m old) how many creative ideas how I wanted, wanted, wanted. Now that I’m older (not that I’m really old) I wish I kept something’s more simpler and had less. Too much maintenance, too much time consumption, too many age related worn out body parts from working until I blew a fuse. I wish I had more time for other things than maintaining home and property because it’s aged me.

    What brand and model table saw do you recommend for home use? Trying to build a deck and more.

    • @KomarProject
      @KomarProject  4 года назад

      Anything will do. If your looking for a small job saw I know Bosch and Dewalt make good ones. Either way you go I would make sure it’s 1hp or above. My ridged is 3/4 and sometimes just doesn’t have power for the big stuff

    I live in MA and I want to do the same on my basement but I’m afraid that my neighbors will complain about the noise! Do you know what is the law about this ?

    • @KomarProject
      @KomarProject  3 года назад

      No idea. But I never ran into issues with neighbors complaining. I usually wouldn’t run the table saw past 10pm. But they never said anything about it ever being too noisy. I did have good neighbors though.
