"How To" Series inc...? The intro made me smile bringing it back to the glory days of Alex@FI. The days where I learned more on different car platforms than any other source. Nothing beats a revamped classic that keeps its classic essence and sir you made me smile again with this video. Welcome MartiniWorks! Keep up the intros and videos, Ill be excitedly waiting for more content! IMO: More clips of cars or parts or sites (to find parts) would be awesome while you explain them! 🔥

Stock air box in these cars are already really efficient. I’d recommended just a drop in filter but if you really want an intake just try to find one that encloses the filter and helps jt stay cooler

As a owner of a 2013 GT86, I plan to run it as a daily while still have the capability to do some mountain runs/track days. So far I have K&N filter, Rota MXR wheels and Kenda KR20a semi slick tires, Winmax W3 brake pads, DBA 4000 series rotors, Whiteline lowering springs and some newly installed Invidia R400 catback exhaust, in terms of performance. Planing to get Sparco Evo L seats, front and rear strut bars, Whiteline front and rear sway bars, Invidia EL headers and a tune to finish it off
Cosmetic wise, some Vland headlights and tail lights, 4th brake lights and the car came with the Modelista kit. Less is more is what im sticking with, aside from being poor 😬

Also if you do forced induction you’re gonna be good if you keep it between 300-350 WHP as long as you keep up with maintenance and run an oil cooler. I’d you live in a really hot climate OR track jt sometimes I’d also recommend running 5w30 instead of 0w20

Woof, i wish i was in it, just 5k for mods on my gt86. I supercharged mine with all the supporting mods ( And some extras that I probably don't need but im paranoid about blowing the engine up) and im at 13k in parts sitting @ 300whp and i haven't even started with body kits or much cosmetics yet. Dont get me wrong, i love every minute im driving it. Just be aware that if you are attached to your money, dont get into moding too much. It's an addictive rabbit hole from witch their is no return😅

My 2 options for my next car, is a G35 or an FR-S must be Manual stick shift only. I don't know if I wanna keep a stock body with a Front lip kit and Rear diffuser side skirts, or do a widebody set up. Either way it's gonna look clean and nice. To be honest I'm a Toyota car enthusiast I'll most likely get an FR-S

as a early 86 twin owner if your car has high miles and didnt get the recall done then dont get it done. The cars these failed on all with lower in the miles and if yours hasnt failed with higher miles than your car isnt likely effected. 128k miles here on mine and I wont get the recall. Not worth the risk. Got high enough miles now that I would just swap the engine or build the engine\iag short block.

One thing i would say that is KEY to buy for your FRS/BRZ/86 is BUY A KILLER B PICKUP and A Decent Aftermarket BAFFLEPLATE.
more for engine longevity especially if you are doing anything with the car. then go wild
fensport is one of the best places to buy from for 86 parts (here in the uk atleast) but you also have tuning developments and Amber Motorsport and Rogue motorsport.
apart from that go nuts! im doing a trackbuild rn and absolutely loving it but you will be sinking Money!!! so get a good idea of what you wanna make and then go for it! :D
    Hope this helps!

The Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ were a collaboration between Toyota and Subaru. Toyota partly owns Subaru by having interests in the company.

Apparently for the 3rd Gen GR, Toyota going back and putting back a Toyo Engine back in bc of the oil problems on the Subaru boxer engine

    • @caseymurray7722

I'm not surprised. Subaru is killing off their performance divisions while Toyota has been building them back up. Subaru also doesn't really have any good hybrid systems while Toyota has excellent hybrids. They would most likely use the GR Corolla motor with some form of hybridization. Ideally they would implement a small traction motor in the rear to double as an active diff and a hybrid turbo to deliver instant boost with no lag.
