yeah lmao that's so depressing as cyno is my 2nd fav character and still my main since his release. I got him day 1 and I still have so much fun with him but Ireally hope he gets more synergy with future characters that work with his unique burst. I pulled for and got Nahida for Cyno but having to switch back to her after killing the enemy sucks and destroys Cyno's burst uptime on multiple enemies.
Multi-wave content is really a killer for Cyno. I think you had the best description for him when you said "his ideal enemy to perform best is a dummy target that just stands still". Kinda reminds me of Eula as well
4:01 The "difference" is that you heavily messed up Cyno's rotation by not activating Xingqiu's Q first before using Cyno's burst, which resulted in Xingqiu not producing seeds for Cyno to procc. To begin with, you always switched out of Cyno's burst way too early even though it's essential for Cyno to E as much as possible so he can regenerate energy for himself. There's so much ambiguity and misinformation in this video, it's sad to see so many players now being put off of Cyno because of it. I hope more people understand that seeing two showcases side by side without context is NOT a good indicator whether a unit is good or not.
You 're absolutely right. I've seen a lot of people saying Cyno is no good or not worth pulling because they saw a CC that is not even capable of doing the freaking rotation right. It kind of piss me off
Also there's a few times he didn't use E right before casting burst and do another E right away after burst, which would have added 2 extra Es. Burst resets E and there's more than enough time to squeeze in another E before the eye appears. It makes a big difference because by the time the set up (Nahida-Xq) is done and it's Cyno's turn, there would be at least 4-5 dendro cores on the ground to activate
Review from StalkingP on CynoMains subreddit: TL;DR: It was an unfair comparison that still showed that Cyno's active team was stronger, yet he cherry-picked his own results to diss him. I watched all of IWinToLose's content and always took it at face value and even recommended it to other people... Until this video. It is heavily biased against Cyno, to the point I don't think I can trust anything this guy says anymore. If he didn't parade around saying "take this with a grain of salt because things could be a millisecond off, and it could be different with other weapons/constellations!" when he should be saying "take this with a grain of salt because it is my opinion, and I just don't like Cyno's playstyle". The current Abyss cycle is not favorable to Cyno: • 2 of the 3 floors have multiple waves of enemies (so using him with Nahida only as the dendro applier means subsequent waves won't have dendro unless you switch him out) • The first floor, on top of being multi-waved, features an electro-applying monstrosity that imbues the enemies with electro every 15 seconds. This makes them very resistant to electro, and you need an opposing element (basically anything but electro and hydro because electro-charged just does more electro damage) to get rid of. • Only the last floor is a relatively good scenario for Cyno. Even with the predominantly unfavorable situations, the total amount of time that Cyno's team took to beat Abyss was the same as the hyperbloom team. Meaning that, in fairer situations (no electro applying BS, not a majority multiwave with only Nahida as dendro applier) Cyno would clearly outperform hyperbloom. IWTL highlights how he is a lot slower than hyperbloom in 12-1 but barely faster in 12-3 when the time difference was 7 seconds slower vs 6.5 seconds faster... He is literally stronger and he chose to ignore that. Another thing to take into account is that Nahida is C2, which while it gives a DEF decrease, it buffs dendro core damages by 20% ON TOP of the def decrease ＝ it favors hyperbloom. And still Cyno did the same time! A more fair reviewer would put more emphasis in how Cyno still doesn't have the ideal dendro applying unit YET (Leak: Baizhu will potentially be a lot better for Cyno than Nahida since he applies dendro more consistently throughout and also heals. This is of course, subject to change.) + compare him in a fair scenario. No electro resistance BS, no lack of off-field continuous dendro application (dendro traveler exists!), less heavy hydro application to not drown out the quicken (using Yelan instead of Xingqiu; he has her so she might as well use her! Take off her weapon and artifacts if she does too much damage!), etc. I was just really disappointed in IWTL because I really really really enjoyed his content up until this point and now I don't know what to believe. How many more things did he make me think that were plain wrong about my favorite characters?? Normally you watch the video and assume the person is being honest and go with it, like other creators such as SevyPlays, or Moga (horribly biased but he admits it! He doesn't put math and a disclaimer giving himself credibility, he is just having fun)... I don't know, I'm disappointed and sad. Cyno is amazing and now, thanks to this guy, people are going to think he sucks more than they thought already.
Honestly dude same. Remember those Diluc and Keqing dps showcase he BARELY even used him and used Yelan most of the time. I was like, "what kind of DPS comparison is this!!" He always makes a character looks bad even tho "proper rotations" exists. I have seen a lot of Cyno videos and they got the rotation correctly as well as energy regeneration back. But this guy can't even do a proper regeneration even tho he has the resources. Honestly, I do feel like he will always say a character is bad even with good support that works well with them because like you said, he doesn't like it.
At least Cyno is usable, thats not a problem to be a little behind in time but to have fun with a caracter you like, unless you care this much to abyss, not something as we can say about dehya tho
You can put Dehya with XQ, Yelan, Hutao and she also will be "usable". Of course she will be worse than Zhongli or XL in that slot but it's very similar to Cyno case where he is basically a walking dps loss in XQ, Kuki, Nahida team. Funny that probably giving him instructor and then driving Nahida would be his best use 😀
@@xardas3634 while dash canceling for hu tao you’ll most likely move out of the field so you lose the super armour buff, and if you aren’t dash canceling, hu tao is still melee meaning you’ll probably have to move out of the field and once again lose the super armour. It also has a large amount of down time. Most shielders can perform better and the shield follows you
So, Cyno is almost keeping up with Hyperbloom when you play him at his worst abyss (a lot of single target and there's literally electro aura, HB doesn't have a problem with it, Cyno IS electro), forgot to use XQ and Kuki at some points ( 4:00 for example) or use Kuki as a buffer for Cyno (she could buff him with Tenacity). Amazing unit, honestly. That video did made me lose a lot of respect for you tho.
@@akitsurov first point is valid - terrible rotation but i don't think the second one is - Nahida's C2 also shred def after quicken. Buff for aggravate and hyperbllom from her cons is around the same. Still this comprasion is really bad.
I didn't notice it at first but, at 4:00 during the ruin guard stage showcase, why didn't you use xinqui or kuki at all during cyno's first rotation? Pretty sure that's contributing a lot to the damage discrepancy, Cyno literally had to rely on aggravate alone against a ruin guard with electro infusion lol.
The ruin guard was electro infused for the last 10-15% only and died shortly after anyway. Im not sure if he tested with full rotation but it was slower then saving the hyperbloom part for the second ruin machine?
@@papayapayama2087 The point is, for Cyno's first rotation there were only 2 characters in play, vs Kuki's 3 characters. This showcase implied that Cyno's 4 man team, which Cyno didn't even have until like 20 seconds in, was weaker than a Kuki 3 man team. Not only that, this was a comparison of HYPERBLOOM teams. Did you see any hyperblooms during Cyno's first rotation? He's missing half of the team damage, which would have let him kill the first ruin guard at least 50% faster. As for "saving" the hyperbloom for the next rotation, there's no such thing. A properly built XingQiu has near 100% uptime, as evidenced in the whole Kuki fight and the rest of the Cyno fight. Cyno has his problems (especially since this particular floor, for whatever reason is 100% anti-Cyno during a Cyno rerun) but there was no need for IWTL to go out of his way to paint him like an actual detriment to your team. *looking at you Dehya*
Damn, I also just noticed this right now... That was such a bad move by IWTL. I'm pretty sure that Cyno will deal more damage if he did use Xingqiu and/or Kuki instead of automatically ulting after applying Dendro with Nahida. As a Cyno user, I know that he's not anywhere near Hu Tao level but he is still very powerful.
Yeah, I found that using Nahida + Kuki in your other Abyss team and running Cyno with Beidou or Fischl is actually better. Assuming you're running both teams to take advantage of hyperbloom or quicken abyssal moon buffs, the answer is probably going to be Cyno Fischl Yelan Baizhu on one side and Kuki Beidou XQ Nahida on the other.
Same, Cyno Beidou Xingqiu DMC is honestly pretty comfortable and clears nicely. Helps even more if your Beidou is C6 since her burst will shred electro res. I’m hoping that Baizhu will be a good teammate for him in multi-wave scenarios though. For now though, he’s pretty good against single waves or bosses.
@Mo-jg7qc Baizhu leaks say he's got a shield and heals so I'll probably run him instead to prevent interruption on Cyno unless his Dendro application is too low.
I still like Cyno because he's one of my favorite characters and mine is pretty heavily invested into. I can use him on one side of abyss and still have kuki for another quickbloom team on the other side.
@@moonmilkgalaxy I use Zhongli personally. Other options are YaoYao or a combination of Beidou + XQ. I just like the reliability of Zhongli though and I can still clear with 36 stars pretty easily.
@Laker Lefty I bet! Zhongli would make things much easier and I plan to pull him when he comes back soon! Xingqiu helps so much with knock back but Yao Yao skill is so short for cyno and not enough dendro for him and beidou feels like it wouldn't be enough protection but I should test it. I just typically need strong healing cause I'm reckless 😂 It's why Baizhu is sounding really good for him rn 🤔 Thanks for sharing!
I wonder what makes Noelle so special that she a 4 star can use her elemental burst .. swap off and still have her elemental infusion when she swaps back on .. bc I feel like with cyno’s case that would improve him by quite a lot
She had the blessing of being a release character, a time when hoyo was making kits with genuine care and honesty, not trying to milk people for money by locking chracaters's potential behind constellations+signature weapon+ other 5 stars for them to feel enjoyable to play

As Cyno main, I would say that if you have enough ER you might just re-cast your burst sooner. Let's say that the first wave of enemies is down and the new ones don't have dendro applied to them. With enough ER and, in my case TF set, you can swap to Nahida, apply dendro again, swap back to Cyno and re-cast Q. My Cyno regenerates his burst before his previous has even finished the CD
@@banana.banshee Mine is 132.4% ER. That's enough for me to feel confident with casting burst off CD of course with an electro teammate. Can't wait for Baizhu to get to test how Cyno might perform without Kuki so he would take all of the hyperblooms and aggrevates. P.S. By no means, my Cyno isn't an example of an average player's. I got lucky on getting his weapon and have 75.2/216.7% crits with 392EM and 1312ATK on him
I love Electro characters since its my favorite element, but my only complain about Cyno is he isn't really viable in open world without his ult, i wish they would've let his E apply electro to his attacks for maybe even 5-7s
I wish they wouldve given him the same treatment they did with Al Haitham because so far Al haitham is so versatile you can use him anywhere, same with Ayato

I don't have Al Haitham but he's so much fun and his kit is so well made that he's along Tighnari some of the best Sumeru characters made IMO. Cyno is not bad but is not that friendly in every aspect of the game sadly

As a cyno enjoyer, I don't even feel bad about this. Hyperbloom kuki-nahida-XQ has been beating or getting same clear times with hyper invested teams of past. Interesting choice on mainly focusing on how strong hyperbloom is compared to JUST cyno for half of the video.. and on the side where the first chamber had intermittent electro resistance.. just sayin :D
I don't see the point of first chamber, its so annoying why the f the ruin guards and then whooperflower, mages, eremites come in a wave, its a petty method to waste time in that useless chamber both sides.

although it's leaked content so it can't be officially reported on yet, it seems Baizhu will be an even bigger buff to Cyno than Nahida. He does off-field dendro application + defense shred, meaning Cyno won't have to swap off and cancel his ult to reapply dendro while stacking def shred on top of Aggravate damage. It also seems his dendro application will be too slow to make hyperblooms viable while still enabling aggravate-- although this could be worked around by running nahida/XQ as in this video. So, hyperbloom would still be one of the best comps in the game, and its best users would still be raiden/kuki, nahida, and XQ/yelan. However, the Cyno-Baizhu core would be more flexible, allowing Cyno to run different supports and sub dps in the last 2 slots. Perhaps a fridge team? Burning overload comp? Lots of fun things to try! although it still sucks that Cyno's biggest buffs are OTHER 5-star solo banner exclusives, and his kit is fundamentally broken to the point of being unusable in most comps, there's hope for him yet. IF the leaks are true, of course.
The problem with this is what you mentioned in the last section of your comment - whichever buffs Cyno receives, they will always be un the form of new premium 5* teammates, which are expensive to get and build. It sucks that he needs at least 2 other limited 5* to get consistent enough dendro application to contend with other 4* electro hyperbloom units.
The fact that Cyno is the worst character vs waves of enemies make Kuki vs Cyno comparison unfair. Now, talking about his best team comp, running Kuki with Cyno is not efficient cause like you said theyre stealing themselves reactions and in Gameplay we saw some electrocharged reaction, and it is because not running double dendro in a Cyno team will make electro and hydro application overlap dendro. I discovered his best team is with DMC instead of Kuki, and maybe in the future with Baizhou
I have never failed to clear abyss content easily with Cyno, he got the job done with dendro travler on his team before Nahida’s release so I felt comfortable skipping her. He is not meta or OP but he is not weak or trash. I am f2p using jade winged spear on him and his teams I use him on mostly consist of 4 stars plus dendro traveler. If you don’t like his playstyle, I can understand, there are some character playstyles I personally don’t like, but if you can’t clear content with him then it’s a skill issue or you just haven’t built him yet.
idk man i am too lazy to deal with RBGesus, I'd like to say i have nearly all if not all the "meta" characters but i cant 36star i only do 33 star the abyss (not that i am bothered by it tho) (raiden nahida hyperbloom and national with kazuha is my team of choice usually but i sometimes use ganyu,venti,kokomi and diona/ayaka)

any hyperbloom team that has kuki to trigger the reaction obviously isnt gonna be the best for the random 5* you try to use in there, its not a cyno issue, it happens with all the teams bc hyperbloom is broken so of course is gonna be kuki the one who does more dmg. same thing happens with national and xiangling, she is the one doing more dmg no matter if you use childe or raiden or any other 5* lately ive been trying a hyperbloom team where is cyno the one with full EM, the one who triggers the reaction, and he does even more hyperbloom dmg that my kuki with less EM than her (with 750 EM he did 27k dmg while she with almost 1000 does 22k), so yeah, cyno aint the problem, but the focus you give to the team and how you build it
@@komgoo4974 his team is a 3 person team too tbf. Only thing kuki is doing is healing and she doesn't proc alot of seeds since cyno procs them faster.

Geez you obviously messed up the rotation on the first floor. Stop trying to disinform people by not playing optimally. Furthermore Cyno is a great character and by making such videos you truly making some players believe that he isnt all that. Different character are perfect for different situations and that's a pity that many players don't get it
I love his long burst time, his gameplay satisfying, risky and fun for me. I just cant play him optimally, because he seems alien to current picture of this game But this is not Cyno's problem, because if they made him different way, he would lost all of his charm and uniqueness. Its Hoyo's problem to deliver me support for this playstyle
@@what-you-want-of-me-yt XQ apply too much hydro, its hard to make aggravate while do some hyperbloom, but Barbara can apply just the right amount, can last the whole Cyno Q and can buff him with ttds, so your Cyno will do consistent amount of aggravate while still do some hyperbloom and even getting some buffs
I'm a Cyno and Keqing haver, both lvl 90 with crowned talents and 60/220 crit ratio's Overall Cyno is a solid side grade to Keqing and only feels lacking in multi wave floors. For bosses or like 2 targets, Cyno feels amazing and super rewarding with Nahida
I don't think rewarding is the word, Keqing is the best driver for A4 Fish and that made her a better option in my opinion, furthermore, Cyno NEEDS investment as for Keqing, investment is rewarding not necessary
I think I value more the flexibility in Keqing kit than Cyno's kit that scales naturally with EM. besides with some cons on her she will compare fine to c0 Cyno.

glided has been mathed out to be better than TF if you have anather electro character on your team as you get electro resonance and extra electro energy particles to help cyno's er requirements
@@marcuschiong306 No, it is still not better than TF. The individual damage is worse. Electro resonance gives 1 particle every 5 seconds, it does NOT help enough with your ER vs getting 3 more elemental skills, and by having another electro you just reduced your 230 em to 180 em. It is NOT mathed to be better, you just made it EVEN WORSE by doing so. In Cyno's case it is always optimal to run Thundering Fury over Gilded Dreams. 180 EM is not as much as you think over 15% electro damage and inreased reaction damage. (40% increase in the reaction damage is all you need as long as you have 283 EM minimum. This is extremely easy to achieve and you get another 100 for being in your elemental burst anyways. Also 2 dendro = 50 em from dendro resonance. so.)
@tartagliasjigglydworshipper There's nothing sweaty about it. You literally are fine by just popping 2 skills before the first endseer. then you do your normal crap and pop an extra skill before the final endseer proc. It's insanely easy.
@rhezer someone like baizhu who can keep applying dendro for the same duration as his burst while in waves. Something baizhu can do but it's 14 seconds. Which is good at least.

For quickbloom (more crit orientated) yelan is probably much better because xingqius hydro over applies and denies a lot of aggravates, he ends up doing electro charged sometimes as well
Xingqiu has more hydro app, also electro charge does with hydro/electro doesn't take away the app, it splits it so when you add a 3rd element, it makes 2 more elements as it splits the hydro/electro. That's why raiden national is so strong. You will get both overlord and vap with xiangling ult.
@@teemychow6483 No. You don't get anything for cyno because Cyno is an aggravate/quicken character. So you do in fact ruin anything Cyno can be doing by utilizing Xingqui and no it does not make up for the damage loss. Also, Gilded dreams set is garbage for Cyno unless your Cyno sucks by a huge margin or you are c6 r5 in which case you are about equal or 1-3% weaker or stronger depending on substats. Overall gilded dreams is bad and the team showcased was terrible and not indicative of anything Cyno can do.

So no, I'm not wrong in the slightest and the math has already been done. Second, Keqing is weaker than Cyno. So where did you get that information? Thirdly, Alhaitham's best teams are Hyperbloom and SPREAD teams, and has nothing to do with Quicken + Aggravate. And finally, Gilded dreams is a garbage set for reaction based characters unless they are a driver. Cyno isn't a driver, he's an on-field DPS carry. So Thundering Fury would be the best set (and has been shown to be better by math alone at any EM value) So you literally said nothing here but conjecture for conjecture's sake. Thanks for that.
@@Kizen. You are on copium. Whatever team you have cyno in, that uses Aggravate, replace it with keqing. It will do the same thing. There won't even be a dps loss if both are c0 with 4 star weapons. It's stupid to use cyno in any team but hyperbloom. As you can see, hes not even great in hyperbloom with tf.
... Who told you Kuki was part of "his best team"? They compete with each other, not compliment. A 2nd dendro that never touches the field with Cyno would be much better for the resonance alone... People really don't get Cyno, like AT ALL.
The guardians have resistance to electro, they greatly reduce your electro damage at the beginning, you know very well that the abyss conditions and favors some teams and harms others.
That's exactly what i was about to say, you can't compare cyno vs kuki on that, kuki does dendro damage (with bloom) ofc she will be better on mobs that have electro resistance
his best team comp is doble hydro (yelan xinqiu) cyno with nahida where he does activate the blooms, single target he destroys kuki and raiden hyperblooms. with high investment cyno just carrys. its sad how people think that cyno is bad when his team is in the top 3 teams of the entire game and could be really worth it to pull.
Most of the rotations shown in this video are wrong hence Cyno’s performance is hindered. I am not sure if it was done on purpose or just lack of knowledge. It says “Cyno team” but he plays Kuki and Nahida more staying with Kuki in field for longer. Also Kuki steals hyperblooms so better to have Zhongli in her stead when playing quickbloom. Best Cyno team is Cyno-Yelan/XQ-Nahida-Zhongli/Baizhu
@@marcuschiong306 I play TF cyno and my next burst is up half way through the active burst. I never even have to stay on another character. Kuki is useless in this team but since I don’t have Zhongli and am waiting for Baizhu I play cyno Yelan Kuki Nahida and everything is smooth unlike this video. My clear time for chamber 12-1 where the enemies come in 4 waves of 1 I clear in 40-50 seconds if not less and my team is not even maxed and some characters are under levelled even. This video doesn’t do Cyno proper justice. At least a Zhongli in Kukis place in quickbloom would have shown knowledge and understanding of the character.

My Kuki has 780-800 EM could be more if I max some stuff. My cyno while with nahidas buff on field has the same amount. TF procs easier with quickbloom when cyno triggers the hyperblooms, so you can spam E attacks more easily between endseers. If Kuki steals it messes up the TF procs.

cyno has one of the coolest kits in this game next to itto but sadly this game doesn't have many long lasting abilities for god forsaken reason and thats why i won't go for him when 3.0 first dropped i had mixed feelings about dendro and didn't know how powerful the bloom reaction was now that the dust has settled and we got familiar with the new element it kinda feels like a totally different game forget about normal teams that rely on powerful reactions damage like rational or hutao double hydro cuz those still can compete with the average hyperbloom team if you invest enough into them look at the miserable state of the geo, anemo and physical DPS not only their supports need to get C6 but they themselves also need very high artifact investment and their signature weapon or even some constellations to even begin to compete with the base standard HB team in terms of DPS it doesn't help that more and more characters released are just mid or straight up useless in some cases
4:02 the difference is that in the run on the left you didn't use kuki or xingqui in the first rotation for some reason??? Just cuz u were trying to use cyno as the main on field DPS doesn't mean u shouldnt use 2 of the 4 characters on your team AT ALL. And it's not like u were saving their skills for later since xingqui would easily get his burst back and kuki doesn't even need to think about energy

While it is true that Cyno isn't exactly the strongest character (there are alternatives that WILL definitely work better, but that's not the point), the "showcase" was a disservice to his capabilities and does not paint the most accurate depiction of what he can potentially do. I think it wasn't even "Quickbloom" that was showcased, just straight up Hyperbloom and Cyno wouldn't even trigger a lot of aggravates. This was more apparent in the Overworld ASIMON fight.
he probably did that to do a full cyno rotation, so he could have max energy the next time he uses him. Cyno doesn't have energy problems only if you can do his full burst. I assume he did many variations to have the best possible time since he does a lot of speed runs.

Ive been using gim with nahida furina and jean, hes absolutley amazing with them, althiugh hes nit the best unit, after putting off like 20 other 5 stars i said i was gonna build, im glad i did, hes actually amazing
@@marcuschiong306 No, it is not better in quickbloom ever. And also is not better in hyperbloom. Gilded dreams gives you AT MAX 230 em. That is NOT stronger than getting a 15% electro bonus damage and 40% dmg increase on every form of electro and dendro reaction as well as a 20% increase in Aggravate scaling + increased number of elemental skills. The math has been done and the dps is significantly better with Thundering fury. This is already proven and this is for all EM values and all weapons. Gilded dreams is never as good as TF at c0 or c6. you also botch your substats if you run Gilded because then you need a bunch of ER substats. When all you need is like 110% ER vs like 140-170% er to guarantee you have your burst up every single rotation.

This video is kinda misleading. Kuki rarely steals hyperblooms from Cyno because he applies electro way faster than her. Using proper rotations, his raw damage plus electro charged and hyperbloom his teams can reach 65k dps at f2p investment, and have the benefit of freeing Yelan or Xingqiu to the other side. For hyperbloom team you will want 4 piece Gilded Dreams, a good crit stat stick (White tassel works wonders) and EM/Electro/Crit for main stats. Substats are EM, ER, attack% and crit. Beidou and Xingqiu are enough to protect him if you don't want to use Kuki with him (but I highly reccomend it, she heals, helps with energy and contribute with team damage the ocasional hyperbloom she steals).
Hyperbloom is encroaching on a lot of 5 stars, making their best teams a hyperbloom team, with the 5 star being useless in that team. I heard a Eula main complain that the team comp with the best damage output for her is "Hyperbloom Eula"... and you can probably guess that Eula herself isn't doing most of the damage in that team.
That's not exactly the truth. The problem is when you make a jank team that inherently doesn't work but then use a character that majorly benefits from Nahida, it looks as if hyperbloom is always the best. But it isn't. Nahida without c2 and kuki all of a sudden takes a massive hit. TF set on Cyno and all of a sudden his damage skyrockets. I just don't get what was happening here.
Unless you have yelan at C2,xingqui is much better option especially when a lot of people already have him at c6 (not majority but its a lot of people)
Cyno's only issue is the multiple waves floors, so it's inaccurate to base his relevancy with that. Imagine if i say "hutao sucks because she doesn't do a lt of dmg in multi-target. Also when you take off xingqiu and kuki and you put fav yelan and fav zhongli the team becomes significantly stronger
@@fardareismai4495 yea i like his gameplay but cant enjoy it due to the burst cost. many people dont like the idea of having to run him with a battery which he badly needs. I have him at 150 er and still struggle. Even if you enjoy his gameplay its locked behind a ridiculously long burst cost which can be annoying to recharge espeaciin the overworld, i rather use alhaithem who is skill based on who I also enjoy.
I use my guaranteed for my Cyno cons now I have C2 but I still love him even at C0 with bis weapon before. I don't have Nahida so Traveler and Yaoyao still good for me. I'm anticipating Baizhu for him :)
But really tho, who uses cyno with kuki in a quickbloom team. It's redundant and a wasted 4th slot. First half obviously favors deandro over electro damage
ohh dont worry... the fun factor that he provides is really high..... and hes not weak... he does good dmg.. .the problem is theres no ideal team because of him.. his best comps can easily replace him, and do more dmg.... but imho, none of them can be as fun as cyno (on the same comp), some get close but none surpass him in that regard... but fun is subjective..... now, if u only care about dmg.... yes, he can feel really lackluster, comparing with the said replacements
He is one of my most fun characters to play, up there with Scara, and Yoimiya! He works perfectly fine in both aggravate and hyperbloom comps, nahida o no nahida. I used to use him with Dendro Traveler too and quicken was sustained throughout his whole burst.
I honestly don't think Cyno needs buffs. He is in a good spot of being strong while having little value. If you like him he will perform well, if you don't you're not missing out. It's like if Hoyoverse released a 5* character, that is very slightly weaker or equal to Xiangling. Since Xiangling is free that character has very little value, but is still VERY strong. Idealy, if every character was balanced like Cyno, you could always pull for who you like, without ever feeling bad about a weak unit or missing out on a stronger character.
Absolutely this. Cyno is the perfect example of what balance is like. Good enough to comfortably clear content without feeling obligated to pull if the playstyle isn't your ideal. I honestly would love to see more characters like him as it keeps it from feeling like only a select few teams are worth the value of pulling for.
Isn't putting XQ in a "quickbloom" team actually hurting the team DPS cuz his fast hydro doesn't allow Cyno to aggravate? I got a Cyno during his first run, level 80 (can't be bothered to gather scarabs to get him to 90), and I use Nahida-Cyno-Beidou(defensive)/Fischl(offensive)-Kokomi intead. Kokomi's slow hydro app lets Cyno and Fischl/Beidou trigger tons of aggravate while the hyperblooms act as supplementary damage. This team can comfortably clear Floor 12 second half in 1:30 or less. In a straight up hyperbloom (which is what was showcased here), there's no point in running Cyno as he's not building full EM anyway, and since he's not triggering aggravates, his overall damage is lower. Better to run a regular double hydro hyperbloom in that regard. That said, it just goes to show straight up busted hyperbloom is!
No, more hyperbloom means more dmg. Unless u c6 cyno aggravate wont overcome hyperbloom dmg to get aggravate better than just hyperbloom. Quickbloom right now is for whales

My point was just that it's unfair to base Cyno's power level on just one team archetype --- a team wherein he's not even the best choice, and he's not even properly built for it. His "best" team should be something that maximizes his EM and crit scaling, hence quickbloom. I wish that his real quickbloom capability (no matter how mid it is) was also showcased. Using a hyperbloom core and then saying that "using Cyno is a downgrade" doesn't do him "justice" (heh), specially since the build was EM/DmgBonus/Crit.
Fyi, Cyno is actually better at playing aggravate, I think lol. You guys can see at his weapon signature. All his em goes to his flat att. So, it means cyno best damage allocation would be damage that using ATT and EM. It refers to Aggravate, where hyperbloom damage doesn't scale from att (just em, like kuki). The reason why Quickbloom is better recently for Cyno is because the hyperbloom damage is already op. But with Baizhu as a shielder and healer, Cyno can max out his full aggravate potential by putting another buffer character. baizhu seems like he might be very good to pair with cyno if you are interested in potentially pulling him. catalyst, shield/heal, and off field dendro application. seems to be a very good universal dendro unit but will be very good in cyno teams
I have cyno C3 -c3 itself was a shot in the dark for me and won.- he is fun but atm I am using ei and xingqiu with him due to battery, anti interruption and reactions. When baizhu comes he will act as both a shield and healer along with dendro application. Baizhu might beable to handle the issues cyno has even if it means there's a 4-6 second window during the burst. There might also be adjustments during beta so we shall see.
Floor 12.1 is almost specifically designed against cyno’s play style It completely exploits his incapability in swapping and managing upfield time Ridiculous how they had cyno rerun under such an unfavorable condition for him

@@yorchmr3603 not really. National had a skill requirement and wasn’t always easy to build cause you needed traditional damage via artifacts. Dendro scales up from f2p through dolphin allowing a f2p to not just beat abyss but comfortably conqueror it. I’ve seen it myself helping many others slap on Yao Yao hyperfridge then feel motivated to get Nahida and Alhaithem then Nilou.
Does quickbloom trigger aggravate the same amount of times as a normal aggravate team? Cause if thats not the case then yeah Cyno would perform worse than an on set kuki. I imagine Cyno Kujou Kazuha Baizhu would be a dope aggravate team.
I still think your way of using Cyno, especially in a hyperbloom comp, is off. He has one of the highest possible EM stats thanks to his burst giving you 100EM and having access to the Dragon's Bane. So why do you put Kuki in his team to steal his blooms? I played him with a beautifully flowing Cyno (full EM)-Bennet (insctructor/Sapwood)-Yelan/XQ-Nahida team, and it completely destroyed everything in its wake. Since I don't play Genshin anymore I don't have any numbers, but I am certain that this team beats a Cyno-Kuki-Nahida-XQ comp. Why would you want two electro in a hyperbloom anyway? But yeah, you can't easily swap and reapply, but many onfield dps have that problem.
He really suffers with multi wave content as he relies in his burst and most sub dps needs to recast their skills/burst to reliably reposition and regain their energy. I hope they designed Cyno that even you swap out, you still have the burst mode so you can just reposition yourself hence would make sense the duration of his burst.

He actually realy satisfying at multi waves content if he has enough dps to cleat it alone. I like to farm open world domains with him. But if it goes to hard content he cant do anything without support so we starting to play quick swap impact
I really dont think the team u used was actually Cyno's best team comp. Xingqiu's hydro application is too strong for cyno to proc aggravate frequently, and preferably it's a lot better to use Yelan instead. To add, I feel his team is better off without kuki and add another dendro unit like yao yao instead. In my personal opinion, Cyno's best team is with Nahida, yelan and c2 jean. Here Jean provides Cyno with electro res shred and increases his normal atk speed, and Cyno can constantly hyperbloom alongside doing significant aggravate very frequently as Yelan's burst doesnt override dendro and electro as fast as xingqiu does. That's my take and experience on using Cyno.
Sounds cool, test these teams that I think are the best, Cyno, Xingqiu, traveler & nahida The idea behind this is explode all of the hyperblooms with Cyno (with 1000 of EM on field and with sumeru’s set) I think is more damage explode all hyperblloms than buff electro Cyno damage Also Cyno is better here than kuki or raiden because he aplies electro perfectly for explode hyperblooms all time Xingqiu aplies very good and he helps us to survive Nahida with sumeru’ s set for buff his damage (ambar prototype if we need it) Traveler with dendro set This team for multitarget, for unitarget Cyno, xingqiu, yelan & nahida (Nahida with dendro set)
Edit: I rewatched the footage and in the left Cyno team Cyno was barely on field...? The second robot didn't get to see Cyno at all and you switched him out a little after getting to the fourth one, you didn't do Xingqiu's burst for the first robot either. Why? Was this better than doing full support rotation Cyno actually using Cyno's full burst (which would allow him to get more energy and be ready to start the rotation again)? If that's the case I want to see that comparison too. This seems pretty biased. I can't even make the comparison myself because my Cyno already has high cons. I usually really like your content but this is unfair and wrong. Edit 2: Doing this comparison in a floor where the enemies get imbued with electro every 15 seconds + multiwave is just straight-out bad for Cyno. Of course you are forced to switch out if Nahida is your only source of dendro. That can be fine and you can just do some electrocharged if it weren't for the electro thing in that floor. Switching Nahida to electro traveler is better for multiwave. Just brushing over how he was "just a few seconds better" (6.68) in the last chamber when the Hyperbloom team was basically just as many seconds faster (7.13) in the first chamber is disingenuous... They were both just as fast in average when 2 chambers were multi-wave and one was bad for electro. If you take the electro application issue away (you wouldn't say mono pyro is garbage just because it's bad at killing pyro slimes, would you?), Cyno is just as fast as the hyperbloom team in floor 2-2 (multi-wave) and FASTER in single-target. So the conclusion is he can be potentially better than hyperbloom, but still needs better supports. Future impact indeed. This was really very biased IWtL. I feel kind of stupid for trusting what you put out at face value, showing all the numbers and the math, but I don't think it's a responsible thing as such a popular content creator to put out these wrong conclusions. ----- The only issue is that hyperbloom is too broken 🥺 I knew Cyno was going to be good but to be the best, yet I wanted him to be so I pulled his weapon and C6 (actually I'm like 20 pulls away from C6, it'll be here in a week or two!). He obliterates everything now so I'm happy 💗 I like him too much to bench him in order to do more damage in a less fun team 😤
I've been using C0 Cyno with nahida, baizhu, and yelan and he's pretty good for me so far, the damage output is okay and he kills bosses pretty quickly but he's definitely at a disadvantage against multiple wave enemies. This can be dealt with if you give him a high er, so you can just keep doing the burst rotations
I think baizhu will be an amazing unit to pair with cyno, though again, pulling a 5 star because of another 5 star is never a good thing No hate to cyno tho I have him at level 90 9/9/9 with signature weapon, but he just feels weak for a 3.1 character

I got him on his first banner, mostly because I really liked his design and jokes, played him for a while, then benched him unfortunately (the scarabs seem to be a main reason, curse my lazy ass) A few days ago, I managed to pull his weapon, sat up straight in my chair, and decided to farm scarabs again. Was a painful journey, but I got him from 70 to 90 now. Now I've levelled his burst and skill talent to 9, and I pair him with Nahida, Kuki and Yaoyao. Not gonna lie, I'm having so much fun playing again, even if sometimes the enemies die before I can use his burst haha. He's not the strongest, but I'm fine with that (I love this little general so much xD) Now I'm trying to decide if I should pull for his constellations or save my guaranteed
Here's why your Cyno sucks. You're using Gilded dreams which is literally always worse at every constellation for Cyno. Like, legitimately always. Thundering Fury has already been mathed out as his best set for several months now. Why would you use a subpar set and a weapon that actually sucks terribly for him? There's literally a better 4 star you could use than the deathmatch, but sure, using the deathmatch is an option, so let's go for that... totally not like Missive Windspear at r1 is better than even an r5 Deathmatch. Or you know, even r1 Moonpiercer. Or better yet Kitain Crosspear. Lmao Thundering Fury is literally always his best in slot because it buffs aggravate multiplicatively and because aggravate can crit, unlike hyperbloom. his best team may be quickbloom but NOT with Xingqui, I don't even know why you bothered with that, he wants SLOW hydro application so barbara or Yelan would be better. So why are you trying to use such a subpar setup and then run it as if it's a good setup and indicative of his performance in any degree? Also what even was the point of bringing Kuki along when aggravate and spread literally have higher damage ceilings than Hyperbloom because of multiplicative scaling? Yeah, sure, let's just use a bad set with Cyno and a bad weapon, and put him up a Kuki being buffed by c2 Nahida, which allows you to EM dump and still get a 1/5 crit ratio for the hyperblooms and then make it out like Cyno is bad when Nahida + Cyno + Barbara can out dps Xingqui + Kuki + Nahida if you would just put a proper build on Cyno. @bsu9715 No. None of them are. You literally cap (with best possible substats) at 1700 attack with no EM benefits by using a deathmatch. missive is his best 4 star weapon. Deathmatch is barely middle of the pack. white tassel r5 is even better than it. Why would you ever consider deathmatch over missive, kitain (which further amps your endseer proc elemental skills) or moonpiercer (similar attack + elemental mastery) Missive puts you over 2k attack while giving you an extra 96 em... permanently. All you'd lose out on is crit damage hat, and that is easily replaced by even a half decent crit rate hat instead. Also, Cyno is literally a character who needs em. Why the heck would you not be running him Quickbloom/Aggravate?
4* weap......with 35+ cv artifact in EVERY piece OfC. forget months, its gonna take years to get that 'kinda good" roll. ive been farming nonstop since day 1 sumeru in that domain, only got 1 nice feather so far.
35 cv is not that hard actually. it usually just boils down to goblet and headpiece for me. this makes or break if you will have a character properly built. getting an onset goblet with elemnatl damage bonus main stat with crcd subs is hard.... so you go off set. then headpiece with crit main and sub... one of the 2 will be offset. also its ok to compensate on these pieces if CV if doesnt get to 30+ like and there are impprtant stats you are lacking. ER(XL), or EM (tighnari/alhaithan mains)or HP %(YELAN). so be careful before you use those lvl 20s as mats some might be s tier for some characters that you are building at the time. i remember sacrifing a hydro damage bonus ESF goblet with 20 CV but 22% hp bonus because i was building my xq at the time. then yelan was released the first time and i nearly threw my phone out the window. most of ESF, shime, gilded and deepwood feather flower and sands that i use are at 40+ CV. 14 CR/14CD is most common. but i love the 3.5/35. there are some rituals that work for me when upgrading to get the subs i want. it does take more patience than luck. and much more mats
Amazing vid, as always, and very interesting to see. But I think for F2Ps is more valuable to see a C0 Nahida than C2, because I think most F2Ps won't have her over C0 (unless super lucky) and I wonder if that changes something in the Cyno/Kuki comparison when her hyperblooms don't crit anymore.
The thing is - if we are talking meta, there is no reason to not just a build a national team on one side and a taser or hyperbloom team on the other. In this sense in the current meta a LOT of 5*s are redundant. Hyperbloom basically nerfed almost all other teams, I d say there is no reason to not just play a Cyno, if you want to. Coz Ofc in comparison to Kuki he doesnt fair that well....realistically 50% of current 5* do nto fair that well in comparison to a Kuki +Nahida team. AYAKA/Ganyu are BIS for freeze, yes...true. But any hydro s d be used better ina hyperbloom team, so applying the Kuki logic - Kuki d perform better without Cyno....Xinyciou/Yelan/Kokomi/Mona d all peform better without Ayaka/Ganyu.

Cryo seems bad because they can't react with dendro, why would you freeze the enemies if you can just kill em straight up the bat, For me personally, i don't care which character i pull i just pull them if i like it or not, spyrall abyss is too easy anyway, i can even do it with just a 4 star only team, i have cyno rn and i even considering going for dehya, the only reason i didn't, is just because she will get dropped in standard, it seems like a waste of primos

yeah lmao that's so depressing as cyno is my 2nd fav character and still my main since his release. I got him day 1 and I still have so much fun with him but Ireally hope he gets more synergy with future characters that work with his unique burst. I pulled for and got Nahida for Cyno but having to switch back to her after killing the enemy sucks and destroys Cyno's burst uptime on multiple enemies.

4:01 The "difference" is that you heavily messed up Cyno's rotation by not activating Xingqiu's Q first before using Cyno's burst, which resulted in Xingqiu not producing seeds for Cyno to procc. To begin with, you always switched out of Cyno's burst way too early even though it's essential for Cyno to E as much as possible so he can regenerate energy for himself.
There's so much ambiguity and misinformation in this video, it's sad to see so many players now being put off of Cyno because of it. I hope more people understand that seeing two showcases side by side without context is NOT a good indicator whether a unit is good or not.
You 're absolutely right. I've seen a lot of people saying Cyno is no good or not worth pulling because they saw a CC that is not even capable of doing the freaking rotation right. It kind of piss me off
Also there's a few times he didn't use E right before casting burst and do another E right away after burst, which would have added 2 extra Es. Burst resets E and there's more than enough time to squeeze in another E before the eye appears. It makes a big difference because by the time the set up (Nahida-Xq) is done and it's Cyno's turn, there would be at least 4-5 dendro cores on the ground to activate

TL;DR: It was an unfair comparison that still showed that Cyno's active team was stronger, yet he cherry-picked his own results to diss him.
I watched all of IWinToLose's content and always took it at face value and even recommended it to other people... Until this video. It is heavily biased against Cyno, to the point I don't think I can trust anything this guy says anymore. If he didn't parade around saying "take this with a grain of salt because things could be a millisecond off, and it could be different with other weapons/constellations!" when he should be saying "take this with a grain of salt because it is my opinion, and I just don't like Cyno's playstyle".
The current Abyss cycle is not favorable to Cyno:
• 2 of the 3 floors have multiple waves of enemies (so using him with Nahida only as the dendro applier means subsequent waves won't have dendro unless you switch him out)
• The first floor, on top of being multi-waved, features an electro-applying monstrosity that imbues the enemies with electro every 15 seconds. This makes them very resistant to electro, and you need an opposing element (basically anything but electro and hydro because electro-charged just does more electro damage) to get rid of.
• Only the last floor is a relatively good scenario for Cyno.
Even with the predominantly unfavorable situations, the total amount of time that Cyno's team took to beat Abyss was the same as the hyperbloom team. Meaning that, in fairer situations (no electro applying BS, not a majority multiwave with only Nahida as dendro applier) Cyno would clearly outperform hyperbloom.
IWTL highlights how he is a lot slower than hyperbloom in 12-1 but barely faster in 12-3 when the time difference was 7 seconds slower vs 6.5 seconds faster... He is literally stronger and he chose to ignore that.
Another thing to take into account is that Nahida is C2, which while it gives a DEF decrease, it buffs dendro core damages by 20% ON TOP of the def decrease ＝ it favors hyperbloom. And still Cyno did the same time!
A more fair reviewer would put more emphasis in how Cyno still doesn't have the ideal dendro applying unit YET (Leak: Baizhu will potentially be a lot better for Cyno than Nahida since he applies dendro more consistently throughout and also heals. This is of course, subject to change.) + compare him in a fair scenario. No electro resistance BS, no lack of off-field continuous dendro application (dendro traveler exists!), less heavy hydro application to not drown out the quicken (using Yelan instead of Xingqiu; he has her so she might as well use her! Take off her weapon and artifacts if she does too much damage!), etc.
I was just really disappointed in IWTL because I really really really enjoyed his content up until this point and now I don't know what to believe. How many more things did he make me think that were plain wrong about my favorite characters?? Normally you watch the video and assume the person is being honest and go with it, like other creators such as SevyPlays, or Moga (horribly biased but he admits it! He doesn't put math and a disclaimer giving himself credibility, he is just having fun)... I don't know, I'm disappointed and sad. Cyno is amazing and now, thanks to this guy, people are going to think he sucks more than they thought already.

I was like, "what kind of DPS comparison is this!!" He always makes a character looks bad even tho "proper rotations" exists.
I have seen a lot of Cyno videos and they got the rotation correctly as well as energy regeneration back. But this guy can't even do a proper regeneration even tho he has the resources.
Honestly, I do feel like he will always say a character is bad even with good support that works well with them because like you said, he doesn't like it.
To be fair pretty sure his Yelan is C6, so she applies as much hydro and XQ.

You can put Dehya with XQ, Yelan, Hutao and she also will be "usable". Of course she will be worse than Zhongli or XL in that slot but it's very similar to Cyno case where he is basically a walking dps loss in XQ, Kuki, Nahida team. Funny that probably giving him instructor and then driving Nahida would be his best use 😀

@@xardas3634 while dash canceling for hu tao you’ll most likely move out of the field so you lose the super armour buff, and if you aren’t dash canceling, hu tao is still melee meaning you’ll probably have to move out of the field and once again lose the super armour. It also has a large amount of down time. Most shielders can perform better and the shield follows you

So, Cyno is almost keeping up with Hyperbloom when you play him at his worst abyss (a lot of single target and there's literally electro aura, HB doesn't have a problem with it, Cyno IS electro), forgot to use XQ and Kuki at some points ( 4:00 for example) or use Kuki as a buffer for Cyno (she could buff him with Tenacity). Amazing unit, honestly.
That video did made me lose a lot of respect for you tho.

I didn't notice it at first but, at 4:00 during the ruin guard stage showcase, why didn't you use xinqui or kuki at all during cyno's first rotation? Pretty sure that's contributing a lot to the damage discrepancy, Cyno literally had to rely on aggravate alone against a ruin guard with electro infusion lol.
The ruin guard was electro infused for the last 10-15% only and died shortly after anyway.
Im not sure if he tested with full rotation but it was slower then saving the hyperbloom part for the second ruin machine?
@@papayapayama2087 The point is, for Cyno's first rotation there were only 2 characters in play, vs Kuki's 3 characters. This showcase implied that Cyno's 4 man team, which Cyno didn't even have until like 20 seconds in, was weaker than a Kuki 3 man team. Not only that, this was a comparison of HYPERBLOOM teams. Did you see any hyperblooms during Cyno's first rotation? He's missing half of the team damage, which would have let him kill the first ruin guard at least 50% faster.
As for "saving" the hyperbloom for the next rotation, there's no such thing. A properly built XingQiu has near 100% uptime, as evidenced in the whole Kuki fight and the rest of the Cyno fight.
Cyno has his problems (especially since this particular floor, for whatever reason is 100% anti-Cyno during a Cyno rerun) but there was no need for IWTL to go out of his way to paint him like an actual detriment to your team. *looking at you Dehya*
Damn, I also just noticed this right now... That was such a bad move by IWTL. I'm pretty sure that Cyno will deal more damage if he did use Xingqiu and/or Kuki instead of automatically ulting after applying Dendro with Nahida. As a Cyno user, I know that he's not anywhere near Hu Tao level but he is still very powerful.
Yeah, I found that using Nahida + Kuki in your other Abyss team and running Cyno with Beidou or Fischl is actually better. Assuming you're running both teams to take advantage of hyperbloom or quicken abyssal moon buffs, the answer is probably going to be Cyno Fischl Yelan Baizhu on one side and Kuki Beidou XQ Nahida on the other.
in cyno hyperbloom i use diona c6 for heal, shield and em 😃
same I run Cyno with Beidou, Yaoyao and Kazuha to shred electro. Some ppl forgets that aggravates is electro dmg not dendro.
Same, Cyno Beidou Xingqiu DMC is honestly pretty comfortable and clears nicely. Helps even more if your Beidou is C6 since her burst will shred electro res. I’m hoping that Baizhu will be a good teammate for him in multi-wave scenarios though. For now though, he’s pretty good against single waves or bosses.
@Mo-jg7qc Baizhu leaks say he's got a shield and heals so I'll probably run him instead to prevent interruption on Cyno unless his Dendro application is too low.
Baizhu's dendro application is absolutely horrible, if you have c2 yao yao you honestly don't want him
I still like Cyno because he's one of my favorite characters and mine is pretty heavily invested into. I can use him on one side of abyss and still have kuki for another quickbloom team on the other side.

@@moonmilkgalaxy I use Zhongli personally. Other options are YaoYao or a combination of Beidou + XQ. I just like the reliability of Zhongli though and I can still clear with 36 stars pretty easily.

Xingqiu helps so much with knock back but Yao Yao skill is so short for cyno and not enough dendro for him and beidou feels like it wouldn't be enough protection but I should test it. I just typically need strong healing cause I'm reckless 😂

She had the blessing of being a release character, a time when hoyo was making kits with genuine care and honesty, not trying to milk people for money by locking chracaters's potential behind constellations+signature weapon+ other 5 stars for them to feel enjoyable to play

As Cyno main, I would say that if you have enough ER you might just re-cast your burst sooner.
Let's say that the first wave of enemies is down and the new ones don't have dendro applied to them. With enough ER and, in my case TF set, you can swap to Nahida, apply dendro again, swap back to Cyno and re-cast Q.
My Cyno regenerates his burst before his previous has even finished the CD

ER has little to do with it, you have a 20 sec. cool down, if you swap him out early you will have more downtime.

I love Electro characters since its my favorite element, but my only complain about Cyno is he isn't really viable in open world without his ult, i wish they would've let his E apply electro to his attacks for maybe even 5-7s

As a cyno enjoyer, I don't even feel bad about this. Hyperbloom kuki-nahida-XQ has been beating or getting same clear times with hyper invested teams of past. Interesting choice on mainly focusing on how strong hyperbloom is compared to JUST cyno for half of the video.. and on the side where the first chamber had intermittent electro resistance.. just sayin :D

although it's leaked content so it can't be officially reported on yet, it seems Baizhu will be an even bigger buff to Cyno than Nahida. He does off-field dendro application + defense shred, meaning Cyno won't have to swap off and cancel his ult to reapply dendro while stacking def shred on top of Aggravate damage. It also seems his dendro application will be too slow to make hyperblooms viable while still enabling aggravate-- although this could be worked around by running nahida/XQ as in this video.
So, hyperbloom would still be one of the best comps in the game, and its best users would still be raiden/kuki, nahida, and XQ/yelan. However, the Cyno-Baizhu core would be more flexible, allowing Cyno to run different supports and sub dps in the last 2 slots. Perhaps a fridge team? Burning overload comp? Lots of fun things to try!
although it still sucks that Cyno's biggest buffs are OTHER 5-star solo banner exclusives, and his kit is fundamentally broken to the point of being unusable in most comps, there's hope for him yet. IF the leaks are true, of course.

The problem with this is what you mentioned in the last section of your comment - whichever buffs Cyno receives, they will always be un the form of new premium 5* teammates, which are expensive to get and build.
It sucks that he needs at least 2 other limited 5* to get consistent enough dendro application to contend with other 4* electro hyperbloom units.

The fact that Cyno is the worst character vs waves of enemies make Kuki vs Cyno comparison unfair.
Now, talking about his best team comp, running Kuki with Cyno is not efficient cause like you said theyre stealing themselves reactions and in Gameplay we saw some electrocharged reaction, and it is because not running double dendro in a Cyno team will make electro and hydro application overlap dendro.
I discovered his best team is with DMC instead of Kuki, and maybe in the future with Baizhou
I have never failed to clear abyss content easily with Cyno, he got the job done with dendro travler on his team before Nahida’s release so I felt comfortable skipping her. He is not meta or OP but he is not weak or trash. I am f2p using jade winged spear on him and his teams I use him on mostly consist of 4 stars plus dendro traveler. If you don’t like his playstyle, I can understand, there are some character playstyles I personally don’t like, but if you can’t clear content with him then it’s a skill issue or you just haven’t built him yet.

any hyperbloom team that has kuki to trigger the reaction obviously isnt gonna be the best for the random 5* you try to use in there, its not a cyno issue, it happens with all the teams bc hyperbloom is broken so of course is gonna be kuki the one who does more dmg. same thing happens with national and xiangling, she is the one doing more dmg no matter if you use childe or raiden or any other 5*
lately ive been trying a hyperbloom team where is cyno the one with full EM, the one who triggers the reaction, and he does even more hyperbloom dmg that my kuki with less EM than her (with 750 EM he did 27k dmg while she with almost 1000 does 22k), so yeah, cyno aint the problem, but the focus you give to the team and how you build it
Sorry but 12-1 abyss comparison Cyno is at disadvantage for 2 reasons:
1. Electro shield from ley line
2. Enemy come in waves
Either way it’s still sad that a 3 person team is better than a 4 person team

I'm a Cyno and Keqing haver, both lvl 90 with crowned talents and 60/220 crit ratio's
Overall Cyno is a solid side grade to Keqing and only feels lacking in multi wave floors. For bosses or like 2 targets, Cyno feels amazing and super rewarding with Nahida
have you tried using beidou ? in multiwave content since hyperbloom can literally eradicate anything but single targets more so.
I don't think rewarding is the word, Keqing is the best driver for A4 Fish and that made her a better option in my opinion, furthermore, Cyno NEEDS investment as for Keqing, investment is rewarding not necessary
I think I value more the flexibility in Keqing kit than Cyno's kit that scales naturally with EM. besides with some cons on her she will compare fine to c0 Cyno.

glided has been mathed out to be better than TF if you have anather electro character on your team as you get electro resonance and extra electro energy particles to help cyno's er requirements
@@marcuschiong306 No, it is still not better than TF. The individual damage is worse. Electro resonance gives 1 particle every 5 seconds, it does NOT help enough with your ER vs getting 3 more elemental skills, and by having another electro you just reduced your 230 em to 180 em. It is NOT mathed to be better, you just made it EVEN WORSE by doing so. In Cyno's case it is always optimal to run Thundering Fury over Gilded Dreams.
180 EM is not as much as you think over 15% electro damage and inreased reaction damage. (40% increase in the reaction damage is all you need as long as you have 283 EM minimum. This is extremely easy to achieve and you get another 100 for being in your elemental burst anyways. Also 2 dendro = 50 em from dendro resonance. so.)

For quickbloom (more crit orientated) yelan is probably much better because xingqius hydro over applies and denies a lot of aggravates, he ends up doing electro charged sometimes as well
Xingqiu has more hydro app, also electro charge does with hydro/electro doesn't take away the app, it splits it so when you add a 3rd element, it makes 2 more elements as it splits the hydro/electro. That's why raiden national is so strong. You will get both overlord and vap with xiangling ult.

So you do in fact ruin anything Cyno can be doing by utilizing Xingqui and no it does not make up for the damage loss. Also, Gilded dreams set is garbage for Cyno unless your Cyno sucks by a huge margin or you are c6 r5 in which case you are about equal or 1-3% weaker or stronger depending on substats.
Overall gilded dreams is bad and the team showcased was terrible and not indicative of anything Cyno can do.

So no, I'm not wrong in the slightest and the math has already been done. Second, Keqing is weaker than Cyno. So where did you get that information? Thirdly, Alhaitham's best teams are Hyperbloom and SPREAD teams, and has nothing to do with Quicken + Aggravate.
And finally, Gilded dreams is a garbage set for reaction based characters unless they are a driver. Cyno isn't a driver, he's an on-field DPS carry. So Thundering Fury would be the best set (and has been shown to be better by math alone at any EM value)

... Who told you Kuki was part of "his best team"? They compete with each other, not compliment. A 2nd dendro that never touches the field with Cyno would be much better for the resonance alone... People really don't get Cyno, like AT ALL.
The guardians have resistance to electro, they greatly reduce your electro damage at the beginning, you know very well that the abyss conditions and favors some teams and harms others.
Even if the first floor was cyno unfavored comparing how floor 2 and 3 cyno does compare to a 3 person team is depressing.

his best team comp is doble hydro (yelan xinqiu) cyno with nahida where he does activate the blooms, single target he destroys kuki and raiden hyperblooms. with high investment cyno just carrys. its sad how people think that cyno is bad when his team is in the top 3 teams of the entire game and could be really worth it to pull.

That team comparison was incredibly misleading considering the electro shield in 12-1
Most of the rotations shown in this video are wrong hence Cyno’s performance is hindered. I am not sure if it was done on purpose or just lack of knowledge. It says “Cyno team” but he plays Kuki and Nahida more staying with Kuki in field for longer. Also Kuki steals hyperblooms so better to have Zhongli in her stead when playing quickbloom. @@marcuschiong306 I play TF cyno and my next burst is up half way through the active burst. I never even have to stay on another character. Kuki is useless in this team but since I don’t have Zhongli and am waiting for Baizhu I play cyno Yelan Kuki Nahida and everything is smooth unlike this video. My clear time for chamber 12-1 where the enemies come in 4 waves of 1 I clear in 40-50 seconds if not less and my team is not even maxed and some characters are under levelled even. This video doesn’t do Cyno proper justice. At least a Zhongli in Kukis place in quickbloom would have shown knowledge and understanding of the character.

@@marcuschiong306 she doesn’t provide that much energy but yeah you could be right, though it is still not optimal. You see Nahida gives the on field character em. Kuki triggers from off field. My Kuki has 780-800 EM could be more if I max some stuff. My cyno while with nahidas buff on field has the same amount. TF procs easier with quickbloom when cyno triggers the hyperblooms, so you can spam E attacks more easily between endseers. If Kuki steals it messes up the TF procs.

I probably should have metioned its more of electro resonance helping with cyno's ER than kuki's particles. btw kuki definitely gets more than 780-800 em I think did you just forget glided dreams/flower of paradise lost buff.

cyno has one of the coolest kits in this game next to itto but sadly this game doesn't have many long lasting abilities for god forsaken reason and thats why i won't go for him
when 3.0 first dropped i had mixed feelings about dendro and didn't know how powerful the bloom reaction was
now that the dust has settled and we got familiar with the new element it kinda feels like a totally different game
forget about normal teams that rely on powerful reactions damage like rational or hutao double hydro cuz those still can compete with the average hyperbloom team if you invest enough into them
look at the miserable state of the geo, anemo and physical DPS
not only their supports need to get C6 but they themselves also need very high artifact investment and their signature weapon or even some constellations to even begin to compete with the base standard HB team in terms of DPS
it doesn't help that more and more characters released are just mid or straight up useless in some cases
4:02 the difference is that in the run on the left you didn't use kuki or xingqui in the first rotation for some reason??? Just cuz u were trying to use cyno as the main on field DPS doesn't mean u shouldnt use 2 of the 4 characters on your team AT ALL. And it's not like u were saving their skills for later since xingqui would easily get his burst back and kuki doesn't even need to think about energy

THIS! While it is true that Cyno isn't exactly the strongest character (there are alternatives that WILL definitely work better, but that's not the point), the "showcase" was a disservice to his capabilities and does not paint the most accurate depiction of what he can potentially do. I think it wasn't even "Quickbloom" that was showcased, just straight up Hyperbloom and Cyno wouldn't even trigger a lot of aggravates. This was more apparent in the Overworld ASIMON fight.
he probably did that to do a full cyno rotation, so he could have max energy the next time he uses him. Cyno doesn't have energy problems only if you can do his full burst. I assume he did many variations to have the best possible time since he does a lot of speed runs.

@@marcuschiong306 No, it is not better in quickbloom ever. And also is not better in hyperbloom. Gilded dreams gives you AT MAX 230 em. That is NOT stronger than getting a 15% electro bonus damage and 40% dmg increase on every form of electro and dendro reaction as well as a 20% increase in Aggravate scaling + increased number of elemental skills. The math has been done and the dps is significantly better with Thundering fury. This is already proven and this is for all EM values and all weapons. Gilded dreams is never as good as TF at c0 or c6.
you also botch your substats if you run Gilded because then you need a bunch of ER substats. When all you need is like 110% ER vs like 140-170% er to guarantee you have your burst up every single rotation.
Please make an updated Keqing guide now that Nahida is out. This character really needs a revisit.

This video is kinda misleading. Kuki rarely steals hyperblooms from Cyno because he applies electro way faster than her. Using proper rotations, his raw damage plus electro charged and hyperbloom his teams can reach 65k dps at f2p investment, and have the benefit of freeing Yelan or Xingqiu to the other side.
For hyperbloom team you will want 4 piece Gilded Dreams, a good crit stat stick (White tassel works wonders) and EM/Electro/Crit for main stats. Substats are EM, ER, attack% and crit.
Beidou and Xingqiu are enough to protect him if you don't want to use Kuki with him (but I highly reccomend it, she heals, helps with energy and contribute with team damage the ocasional hyperbloom she steals).
Hyperbloom is encroaching on a lot of 5 stars, making their best teams a hyperbloom team, with the 5 star being useless in that team. I heard a Eula main complain that the team comp with the best damage output for her is "Hyperbloom Eula"... and you can probably guess that Eula herself isn't doing most of the damage in that team.
That's not exactly the truth. The problem is when you make a jank team that inherently doesn't work but then use a character that majorly benefits from Nahida, it looks as if hyperbloom is always the best. But it isn't.
Nahida without c2 and kuki all of a sudden takes a massive hit. TF set on Cyno and all of a sudden his damage skyrockets. I just don't get what was happening here.

Uhh no Zajef and other TC’s calculated it and said quickbloom was a cope to avoid admitting Cyno’s best team is HP and therefore replaceable.
Unless you have yelan at C2,xingqui is much better option especially when a lot of people already have him at c6 (not majority but its a lot of people)

no yelan is not better cuz she does not give hyper armor, which ia very important for Cyno unless you r using shield in the team.

Cyno's only issue is the multiple waves floors, so it's inaccurate to base his relevancy with that. Imagine if i say "hutao sucks because she doesn't do a lt of dmg in multi-target.
Also when you take off xingqiu and kuki and you put fav yelan and fav zhongli the team becomes significantly stronger

I have him at 150 er and still struggle. Even if you enjoy his gameplay its locked behind a ridiculously long burst cost which can be annoying to recharge espeaciin the overworld, i rather use alhaithem who is skill based on who I also enjoy.

ohh dont worry... the fun factor that he provides is really high..... and hes not weak... he does good dmg.. .the problem is theres no ideal team because of him.. his best comps can easily replace him, and do more dmg.... but imho, none of them can be as fun as cyno (on the same comp), some get close but none surpass him in that regard... but fun is subjective..... now, if u only care about dmg.... yes, he can feel really lackluster, comparing with the said replacements
He is one of my most fun characters to play, up there with Scara, and Yoimiya! He works perfectly fine in both aggravate and hyperbloom comps, nahida o no nahida.
I used to use him with Dendro Traveler too and quicken was sustained throughout his whole burst.
By looking at Baizhu's kit, I can already imagine a ton of new team comps. Beidou/Cyno/Baizhu/Nahida is my first interest here.

I honestly don't think Cyno needs buffs. He is in a good spot of being strong while having little value. If you like him he will perform well, if you don't you're not missing out.
It's like if Hoyoverse released a 5* character, that is very slightly weaker or equal to Xiangling. Since Xiangling is free that character has very little value, but is still VERY strong.
Idealy, if every character was balanced like Cyno, you could always pull for who you like, without ever feeling bad about a weak unit or missing out on a stronger character.
Absolutely this. Cyno is the perfect example of what balance is like. Good enough to comfortably clear content without feeling obligated to pull if the playstyle isn't your ideal. I honestly would love to see more characters like him as it keeps it from feeling like only a select few teams are worth the value of pulling for.

Isn't putting XQ in a "quickbloom" team actually hurting the team DPS cuz his fast hydro doesn't allow Cyno to aggravate? I got a Cyno during his first run, level 80 (can't be bothered to gather scarabs to get him to 90), and I use Nahida-Cyno-Beidou(defensive)/Fischl(offensive)-Kokomi intead. Kokomi's slow hydro app lets Cyno and Fischl/Beidou trigger tons of aggravate while the hyperblooms act as supplementary damage. This team can comfortably clear Floor 12 second half in 1:30 or less. In a straight up hyperbloom (which is what was showcased here), there's no point in running Cyno as he's not building full EM anyway, and since he's not triggering aggravates, his overall damage is lower. Better to run a regular double hydro hyperbloom in that regard.
That said, it just goes to show straight up busted hyperbloom is!
No, more hyperbloom means more dmg. Unless u c6 cyno aggravate wont overcome hyperbloom dmg to get aggravate better than just hyperbloom. Quickbloom right now is for whales

My point was just that it's unfair to base Cyno's power level on just one team archetype --- a team wherein he's not even the best choice, and he's not even properly built for it. His "best" team should be something that maximizes his EM and crit scaling, hence quickbloom. I wish that his real quickbloom capability (no matter how mid it is) was also showcased.
Using a hyperbloom core and then saying that "using Cyno is a downgrade" doesn't do him "justice" (heh), specially since the build was EM/DmgBonus/Crit.

Fyi, Cyno is actually better at playing aggravate, I think lol. You guys can see at his weapon signature. All his em goes to his flat att. So, it means cyno best damage allocation would be damage that using ATT and EM. It refers to Aggravate, where hyperbloom damage doesn't scale from att (just em, like kuki). The reason why Quickbloom is better recently for Cyno is because the hyperbloom damage is already op.
But with Baizhu as a shielder and healer, Cyno can max out his full aggravate potential by putting another buffer character. I can't wait to pull Baizhu :3

baizhu seems like he might be very good to pair with cyno if you are interested in potentially pulling him. catalyst, shield/heal, and off field dendro application. seems to be a very good universal dendro unit but will be very good in cyno teams

I have cyno C3 -c3 itself was a shot in the dark for me and won.- he is fun but atm I am using ei and xingqiu with him due to battery, anti interruption and reactions. When baizhu comes he will act as both a shield and healer along with dendro application. Baizhu might beable to handle the issues cyno has even if it means there's a 4-6 second window during the burst. There might also be adjustments during beta so we shall see.

@@yorchmr3603 not really. National had a skill requirement and wasn’t always easy to build cause you needed traditional damage via artifacts. Dendro scales up from f2p through dolphin allowing a f2p to not just beat abyss but comfortably conqueror it. I’ve seen it myself helping many others slap on Yao Yao hyperfridge then feel motivated to get Nahida and Alhaithem then Nilou.

I still think your way of using Cyno, especially in a hyperbloom comp, is off.
He has one of the highest possible EM stats thanks to his burst giving you 100EM and having access to the Dragon's Bane. So why do you put Kuki in his team to steal his blooms? I played him with a beautifully flowing Cyno (full EM)-Bennet (insctructor/Sapwood)-Yelan/XQ-Nahida team, and it completely destroyed everything in its wake. Since I don't play Genshin anymore I don't have any numbers, but I am certain that this team beats a Cyno-Kuki-Nahida-XQ comp. Why would you want two electro in a hyperbloom anyway?
But yeah, you can't easily swap and reapply, but many onfield dps have that problem.
He really suffers with multi wave content as he relies in his burst and most sub dps needs to recast their skills/burst to reliably reposition and regain their energy. I hope they designed Cyno that even you swap out, you still have the burst mode so you can just reposition yourself hence would make sense the duration of his burst.

I really dont think the team u used was actually Cyno's best team comp. Xingqiu's hydro application is too strong for cyno to proc aggravate frequently, and preferably it's a lot better to use Yelan instead. To add, I feel his team is better off without kuki and add another dendro unit like yao yao instead.
In my personal opinion, Cyno's best team is with Nahida, yelan and c2 jean. Here Jean provides Cyno with electro res shred and increases his normal atk speed, and Cyno can constantly hyperbloom alongside doing significant aggravate very frequently as Yelan's burst doesnt override dendro and electro as fast as xingqiu does. That's my take and experience on using Cyno.

The idea behind this is explode all of the hyperblooms with Cyno (with 1000 of EM on field and with sumeru’s set)

I rewatched the footage and in the left Cyno team Cyno was barely on field...? The second robot didn't get to see Cyno at all and you switched him out a little after getting to the fourth one, you didn't do Xingqiu's burst for the first robot either. Why? Was this better than doing full support rotation Cyno actually using Cyno's full burst (which would allow him to get more energy and be ready to start the rotation again)? If that's the case I want to see that comparison too. This seems pretty biased. I can't even make the comparison myself because my Cyno already has high cons. I usually really like your content but this is unfair and wrong.

Doing this comparison in a floor where the enemies get imbued with electro every 15 seconds + multiwave is just straight-out bad for Cyno. Of course you are forced to switch out if Nahida is your only source of dendro. That can be fine and you can just do some electrocharged if it weren't for the electro thing in that floor. Switching Nahida to electro traveler is better for multiwave.
Just brushing over how he was "just a few seconds better" (6.68) in the last chamber when the Hyperbloom team was basically just as many seconds faster (7.13) in the first chamber is disingenuous... They were both just as fast in average when 2 chambers were multi-wave and one was bad for electro.
If you take the electro application issue away (you wouldn't say mono pyro is garbage just because it's bad at killing pyro slimes, would you?), Cyno is just as fast as the hyperbloom team in floor 2-2 (multi-wave) and FASTER in single-target. So the conclusion is he can be potentially better than hyperbloom, but still needs better supports. Future impact indeed.
This was really very biased IWtL. I feel kind of stupid for trusting what you put out at face value, showing all the numbers and the math, but I don't think it's a responsible thing as such a popular content creator to put out these wrong conclusions.

I knew Cyno was going to be good but to be the best, yet I wanted him to be so I pulled his weapon and C6 (actually I'm like 20 pulls away from C6, it'll be here in a week or two!). He obliterates everything now so I'm happy 💗 I like him too much to bench him in order to do more damage in a less fun team 😤

I've been using C0 Cyno with nahida, baizhu, and yelan and he's pretty good for me so far, the damage output is okay and he kills bosses pretty quickly but he's definitely at a disadvantage against multiple wave enemies. This can be dealt with if you give him a high er, so you can just keep doing the burst rotations
I think baizhu will be an amazing unit to pair with cyno, though again, pulling a 5 star because of another 5 star is never a good thing
No hate to cyno tho I have him at level 90 9/9/9 with signature weapon, but he just feels weak for a 3.1 character
Even with baizhu, those who never got Cyno still won’t have a big reason to pull the man when HB teams exist.

I got him on his first banner, mostly because I really liked his design and jokes, played him for a while, then benched him unfortunately (the scarabs seem to be a main reason, curse my lazy ass) A few days ago, I managed to pull his weapon, sat up straight in my chair, and decided to farm scarabs again. Was a painful journey, but I got him from 70 to 90 now. Now I've levelled his burst and skill talent to 9, and I pair him with Nahida, Kuki and Yaoyao. Not gonna lie, I'm having so much fun playing again, even if sometimes the enemies die before I can use his burst haha. He's not the strongest, but I'm fine with that (I love this little general so much xD) Now I'm trying to decide if I should pull for his constellations or save my guaranteed
Here's why your Cyno sucks.
You're using Gilded dreams which is literally always worse at every constellation for Cyno. Like, legitimately always. Thundering Fury has already been mathed out as his best set for several months now. Why would you use a subpar set and a weapon that actually sucks terribly for him? There's literally a better 4 star you could use than the deathmatch, but sure, using the deathmatch is an option, so let's go for that... totally not like Missive Windspear at r1 is better than even an r5 Deathmatch. Thundering Fury is literally always his best in slot because it buffs aggravate multiplicatively and because aggravate can crit, unlike hyperbloom. his best team may be quickbloom but NOT with Xingqui, I don't even know why you bothered with that, he wants SLOW hydro application so barbara or Yelan would be better. So why are you trying to use such a subpar setup and then run it as if it's a good setup and indicative of his performance in any degree?
Also what even was the point of bringing Kuki along when aggravate and spread literally have higher damage ceilings than Hyperbloom because of multiplicative scaling? What about the fact that you're using Kuki shinobu which doesn't actually beat out a DIFFERENT character that you could put there like Zhongli, Beidou, Yae Miko, or plenty of others which would have showcased Cyno better instead of you just misleading people by bringing along Kuki for no reason. I don't really get what was the point of the video if I could have literally showcased the character in literally 3 minutes and surmise it better as to how he feels for a F2P and what sort of future he might have.
Also C2 nahida? seriously? Yeah, sure, let's just use a bad set with Cyno and a bad weapon, and put him up a Kuki being buffed by c2 Nahida, which allows you to EM dump and still get a 1/5 crit ratio for the hyperblooms and then make it out like Cyno is bad when Nahida + Cyno + Barbara can out dps Xingqui + Kuki + Nahida if you would just put a proper build on Cyno.
This is like saying Keqing is bad and then using her with gilded dreams set.

@bsu9715 No. None of them are. You literally cap (with best possible substats) at 1700 attack with no EM benefits by using a deathmatch.
missive is his best 4 star weapon. Deathmatch is barely middle of the pack. white tassel r5 is even better than it. Why would you ever consider deathmatch over missive, kitain (which further amps your endseer proc elemental skills) or moonpiercer (similar attack + elemental mastery)
Missive puts you over 2k attack while giving you an extra 96 em... permanently. All you'd lose out on is crit damage hat, and that is easily replaced by even a half decent crit rate hat instead.
Also, Cyno is literally a character who needs em. Why the heck would you not be running him Quickbloom/Aggravate?

4* weap......with 35+ cv artifact in EVERY piece OfC. forget months, its gonna take years to get that 'kinda good" roll. ive been farming nonstop since day 1 sumeru in that domain, only got 1 nice feather so far.

35 cv is not that hard actually. it usually just boils down to goblet and headpiece for me. this makes or break if you will have a character properly built. getting an onset goblet with elemnatl damage bonus main stat with crcd subs is hard.... so you go off set. then headpiece with crit main and sub... one of the 2 will be offset. also its ok to compensate on these pieces if CV if doesnt get to 30+ like and there are impprtant stats you are lacking. ER(XL), or EM (tighnari/alhaithan mains)or HP %(YELAN). so be careful before you use those lvl 20s as mats some might be s tier for some characters that you are building at the time.
i remember sacrifing a hydro damage bonus ESF goblet with 20 CV but 22% hp bonus because i was building my xq at the time. then yelan was released the first time and i nearly threw my phone out the window.
most of ESF, shime, gilded and deepwood feather flower and sands that i use are at 40+ CV. 14 CR/14CD is most common. but i love the 3.5/35.
there are some rituals that work for me when upgrading to get the subs i want. it does take more patience than luck. and much more mats

But I think for F2Ps is more valuable to see a C0 Nahida than C2, because I think most F2Ps won't have her over C0 (unless super lucky) and I wonder if that changes something in the Cyno/Kuki comparison when her hyperblooms don't crit anymore.
The thing is - if we are talking meta, there is no reason to not just a build a national team on one side and a taser or hyperbloom team on the other. In this sense in the current meta a LOT of 5*s are redundant.
Hyperbloom basically nerfed almost all other teams, I d say there is no reason to not just play a Cyno, if you want to. Coz Ofc in comparison to Kuki he doesnt fair that well....realistically 50% of current 5* do nto fair that well in comparison to a Kuki +Nahida team. AYAKA/Ganyu are BIS for freeze, yes...true. But any hydro s d be used better ina hyperbloom team, so applying the Kuki logic - Kuki d perform better without Cyno....Xinyciou/Yelan/Kokomi/Mona d all peform better without Ayaka/Ganyu.
Ahh, i get what you mean sir, the mvp in the meta right now is basically the green ball that drop when dendro and hydro met.
Cryo seems bad because they can't react with dendro, why would you freeze the enemies if you can just kill em straight up the bat,
For me personally, i don't care which character i pull i just pull them if i like it or not, spyrall abyss is too easy anyway, i can even do it with just a 4 star only team, i have cyno rn and i even considering going for dehya, the only reason i didn't, is just because she will get dropped in standard, it seems like a waste of primos
