New World Record 119mph on single 4s lipo. Wltoys 104001. 1/10 scale Rc Car

we attended the Rossa Uk speed run event. where i pushed my arrma typhon to 140mph!
then we had 10 passes on our newly built wltoys104001. 1st pass was 99mph, 103mph, 107mph,114mph, 117mph ,then stopped at 119mph.
specs:
-castle mamba 8s esc.
-tppower 3640 motor
-custom titanium spool
-mod1 gears
-4s panther lipo 4000mah
-8mm bullets connectors.
Im confident this platform is capable of 130mph+ but its extremely difficult to get the power down quick enough without loosing traction and getting that perfect throttle pull. we will get there and that's my target.

I have a suggestion maybe know one has thought of.
Instead of driving your car down the run way. After overcharging your lipos have someone drive your speed run car down the runway plug it in set it straight for you then take your speed run.
We overcharge our wipers, so that our voltage is as high as possible. Driving 300 yards down the runway, then starting your speed, right kind of defeats the purpose. I have suggested this idea to Roz Shifron as well.
I truly believe that if you were to try this obviously you heat your tires and your Lipo's??? So I would give it a try I bet you you can crack the 120 mph limit ?????

Which size and scale wheels do you have in the rear i ordered that same car and i have the contact 12mm foams for the front but need the rears like you have there.

You got any specs on this build? Like the gearing? Pinion and spur teeth? And motor kv .Did you run into any issues in the build? I’m building my own speed car of this model right now.
With regards to the front and rear diffs did you do anything to upgrade them?
Also did you create any mounting brackets for items at all?
Is that speed still the fastest and how do I find out what is the current records if not where is it recorded.

But I know that the one Big Beard rc and his mates are from your area, ask them where they were at the other day? Apparently if there’s a few of you? You can hire a bit of runway for so long? As I know it’s hard to find flat roads that are long enough for speed runs I’m lucky here in wales 🏴 I have found a lovely long tarmaced rd that is not a through rd and only has houses on on side for my speed runs. Good luck with finding somewhere 👍😎

You need 70mm diameter dude to clear the hubs. Contact drag foams work well

8s esc with cap pack you could put down some serious current with a 4 cell battery. Probably peaking that esc out as if it where using a 8 cell lipo.
