JG will be the odd man out due to cap and keeping the bulk of the core together...among other reasons. Yes, I know JG had a good ending to the season, but if you look at the last Month and a half you will find only 10 of those 23 games were good 3-pt shooting stats for JG...still inconsistent. Right now JG's value is up and Stone positioned the Rockets to trade him before the trade deadline to get KD.
RNB...I enjoyed your take and you are so right about not gutting the core and I believe Stone will protect it. After much thinking on this and trying to understand Stone...I believe he will try the following trade to get KD using JG, AJ, Tate & Landale along with those Suns' picks.
If Stone works a deal for KD it will most likely be a 3-team deal between Rockets, Suns and Nets. Looking something like this (the picks could be different, but the players will be the same):
Rockets get: KD + Roddy from Suns.
3first + 3seconds (2027-2031) from Nets.
Suns get: Simmons & cash + 2seconds from Nets.
AJ + Landale + Suns' 3picks/swaps & 2027 Nets Swap from Hou.
Nets get: JG on a $32mx4 S&T + Tate from Hou.
NOTES: Stone's target is KD for a 2-year run at the title, to mentor Jabari and to show the young core how to compete and win championships. After the 2-years, then they use KD cap space just like FVV's cap to resign the young core.
This trade is possible between August 27 & the trade deadline. Stone will sign Sengun after the trade for over the cap reasons and not showing his hand on who he is shopping between the two of them...in order to keep JG's value high. If this trade doesn't happen, then he will still shop JG mainly for future assets.

4. The Suns Are over the 2nd Apron they cant send out more money than they sent out.
5. Becuz the Suns are over the 2nd apron , they cant combine Salaries to match in trades
6. They dont already have their picks swapped from the KD trade with the nets
7. You Cant do a Sign and Trade in the middle of the Year
8.The Nets aren’t Trading 3 first and 3seconds for when are just traded Mikail bridges

@@rasheedfraser5680 Stone is a very calculated GM...he did the trade with the Nets for a reason. He is a lot smarter than me or YOU. We will see soon enough why he did that trade. BTW...You don't know what teams are going to do...neither do I.

Even though I agree I would not trade for George or Butler due to age. Jalen is just not that guy. Let him finish of the season and let him walk. Whitmore is probably his replacement.

I agree 100% . The only guy on your list I like is Booker and he costs too much. They do have another problem however, the 2nd apron. They aren't going to go over 188 million in salary. You aren't going to have more than two stars on a team. If you pay Sengun 40 million its going to be hard to pay Jalen and have enough left over to pay the rest of the team when their contracts are due. From my perspective Jabari is a bigger piece than Jalen at this point in time. If Jalen doesn't get it done this season they may have to trade him. They do, however, have some time because the players are a year apart. So you could give Jalen a shorter contract to see if he develops but it doesn't look good. Personally, I think Sengun is 1, Amen is 2, Jabari is 3 in value. It is too early to tell about Sheppard but he looks good and should be included a top 4 prospects. If Jalen comes along this year he gets included - - but paying 5 guys over 25 milllion is going to be hard to do. I didn't even include Cam and Tari.
