I just wish these types of procedures were available for Brandon Roy, Drose, Kobe , and Jordan. We would have seen a lot more from them late in their careers. It’s amazing how players like Lonzo , Klay and KD were able to return from crazy injuries.

But he instilled a great mindset, confidence and was there the whole way. These kids weren't NBA caliber players by accident. They. Were molded into stars by their father. He did everything in his power to help and teach the and ended up creating two monsters. Look at Lonzo's character, Melo is a goofball but you can tell he was raised right. Ok, Lavar was trying hard to cash in on his kids when they actually made it to the NBA which is really bad but he's a huge factor on them being so good at basketball... especially Lonzo is a magnificent player and in my opinion a way better player than Lamelo who is too fancy and too much "show" and little substance... Lonzo is almost my favorite player in the world right now cause he is a genius on the court, a very hard worker, he impacts the game on every possession, his court vision is insane, his defense is more insane... Happy to see Lonzo on the court. But, one preseason game is not an entire season. Exercise extreme caution, limit his minutes and bring him around cautiously until he shows he can handle the workload.

I don’t wish for injury on any player. I know it’s part of the game sometimes, but in his case it’s cutting a promising career short. It is a cautionary tale if it is the case of overtraining and improper training as some people suggested.

Gotta say.. a "new knee" sounds crazy but really that's what we expect the future to be like.. maybe we jus a lil closer than u thought..

I am enamoured by his return, but all I care about for this dude is having a healthy szn and career going forward. He's already smashed expectations just by taking the court.

I hope Lonzo's return is a good omen for another Professional athlete who also suffered a bad knee injury and also had the same kind of cartridge transplant surgery in Gabriel Landeskog. He hasn't played since June of 2022.

I'm not a fan of the guy but injuries suck and I'm glad he is back playing the game he loves. ❤ I hope this year everybody could just stay healthy and play good basketball.

I really hope he does well. By all accounts, he’s a good guy and he’s a grinder and he’s had such shitty luck. Didn’t deserve to go through the injuries he had.
