Same! when I first started the game I built a Berserker Runt deck that was all in on rolling dice, playing essentially every card that has the word 'die' or 'dice' on it. I quickly realized that Bonehead Barrier doesn't actually help you in any way in that shell. Technically it can be used to activate cards like High Roller, Rugged Roller and Skull Crushers, but the problem is... there is zero point in activating any of those on your opponents' turn - which is when you would normally want to play Bone Head Barrier. So the niche for Bonehead is something like "a wizard/Riptide is going to damage me on my own turn after I've already played a card (because they don't get priority until I do), and I have 1 spare energy to play it in the hopes that I roll a 6 so that I can then proc High Roller, Rugged Roller or Skull Crushers". And even then a hero like Kano could just respond to the Bone Head if they want to force the damage through (if you play it late you can't use High Roller or Rugged Roller), so it will only help you on a turn where you have an abundance of resources and options available anyway. And even then, 50% of the time it'll be worse than just AB3ing, and 1/6th of the time it will also destroy your gloves. Definitely an interesting puzzle, though! The "One With Nothing" of FaB.
I can't believe Luminaris, Celestial Fury managed to dodge this list. I love that card, but by GOD it's bad. Once per turn, pay two additional, all for the privilege of having go again? On one attack?? Doesn't even get the excuse of being for limited, because there was no DTD limited!!!
I’ve been trying to justify yinti yanti’s existence and the only way I can see it played is with weird effects like thrive, but it would have to be much later in the games life probably
Its on the list, there will be more. The main reason I didn't include it is because I did a YT Short a while back of the worst cards and Rise Above was on it. Didn't want to repeat too many cards in the first real video
In a similar vein to this, you should do a list of cards that would seem good to newbies but are traps because there are better options available. Totally not saying this because I'm new and trying to improve...
Somehow you totally forgot about Morlock Hill when writing the script for this. The card is so trash that everyone forgot that it exist. For good reason
I like Aether stink, but not because it's good. Aether Stink tells us so much about the early days of FaB development and what LSS was trying to do. Have an item that can be used to block arcane damage. Simple. Oh, wait. Kano can respond to it. Oh, wait. I can't block arcane damage until after Kano is done responding. Oh, wait. I'm dead. It really makes me wonder if the Kano of today was something LSS expected or if it's something that happened, and LSS just ran with it.
I think it being a rare means it was probably designed for Limited. But if I take Limited into consideration for the playability of cards there would be 0 "bad" cards since even Cracked Bauble is playable in limited formats
man i hate that im defending this card but i think aether sink is not as trash as it seems. first off i think this card is a great limited card, granted people hate ARC limited and im not one of those people and ive enjoyed playing it. another thing is it can be a great find off of OG Dash or even spark if you want to run a different head equipment in a wizard match up. the other cards in the set are so niche and the value is so small much smaller then a typical card but i think this is one of those cards that if a head equipment came out that Dash wanted or if a certain wizard play stile where you want to block big arcane spells it could make a come back. like if Osli was top dog and Dash wanted a way to AB 5-6 this could totally make a cut
I ran bonehead barrier in my dice meme deck. Never used it. It sat in the "sideboard" and sits there to this day.
At least "bonehead" is a fitting name for such a bad card lol
I RAN BONEHEAD BARRIER AS KAYO BERSERKER RUNT IN A BATTLE HARDENED. I ACTUALLY PLAYED IT AGAINST MAJIN BAE
Same!

More sloopdoop videos yesssss

I cannot fathom how you didn't talk about rise above, it's the worst card i think i've ever seen. Worse than every other card ever.
Its on the list, there will be more.
The main reason I didn't include it is because I did a YT Short a while back of the worst cards and Rise Above was on it. Didn't want to repeat too many cards in the first real video
Should’ve included every illusionist ever
new sloop vid, today's a good day.
I feel that Timidity Point was design to stop Starvo's dominate. But other than that the arrow is pretty useless.
there is a use for Amulet of intervention : fodder for Cash Out to gain a Silver, which is more useful than the Amulet itself
Idk I lost a game due to bone head barrier, blitz emperor into rhinar combo pop off bone head enough to survive. Janky but has use
Your best video so far! I would like to see your best 3 cards next. Don't use the obvious ones like C&C so the community can rage and it goes viral :)
It wont be the next video, but I do plan on doing the Best Cards as well as the Saltiest Cards (which will be Mr Ribbits for sure)!
This was absolutely delightful looking at real clunkers! Would love to see more like this :)
I played bone head all the time in my original Rhinar deck. Was good for me
Lost to a CYB Dash IE because of Aether Sink, which obviously means the card is not bad...
The worst card in my honest opinion is "Visit the Blacksmith".
But,it finds use in my meme Commoner Talishar-wielding Prism Deck.
MORLOCK HILL!!
Rise Above??? No? Ok, I´ll play it in my decks.
Shout out to Rise Above, the absolute worst defense reaction I’ve ever seen, from Monarch!
Great video goat, I second the suggestion of rise above, especially as its supposed to be a "sibling" to sink below its just such an embarrassment

I volunteer Blood Dripping Frenzy for trying to compete with Bloodrush Bellow.
In fact I volunteer all of the shadow brute stuff from D2D (except for Levia Redeemed) for being just shadow brute W2R
Relieved that you didn’t include a cheap CYB complaint, that’s the only card I hear people talking about nowadays 😂
No, CYB is for the Saltiest Cards video 😎
Somehow you totally forgot about Morlock Hill when writing the script for this. The card is so trash that everyone forgot that it exist. For good reason

CYB is also cancer.
I think you should add annals of sutcliffe
And wheres count your blessings?
That card was SOO overrated tbh and gets CLOWNED on by any Aggro Deck or Decks that have on hits.
Hilarious stuff 👍🤣
😂
