8:07 Can you even fathom a car company creating a supercar and even hinting that it would be hard to drive nowadays? Everything has gotten simpler enabling the driver to be dumber: auto clutch on rev-matching, paddle shifts with dual auto clutches, etc.
Over-simplification and the lack of driver intuition due to the computerization of vehicles ruins and makes every Jimmy Olsen a Superman. Kinda like all the big money folks that pay to scale Everest while eating by candlelight with chefs preparing their 5 star dinners on the way up.

"If this sounds like a commercial"...well played. I watched this on loop as a kid off of a VHS recording my dad made probably in 1987 when this aired. 32 years of hustle later, I just bought a used Gallardo that needs a little work to eventually go and hoon on a track somewhere (and film of course). No "billionaire doors" or door-sill reversing, but a 'bull none the less. Cheers Morley.

For less than half the price of the other brands, I can have quality razors shipped to my home every month. So what are you waiting for. Pepperoni Unicorn actually the truth is even more unfathomable!
Because Lamborghini didn't have a test track, he went to the local police, and asked the chief of police if he would kindly stop giving tickets to Balboni, because he was tired of paying the fine.
The police chief said, well either Drive slower, or get a licence to drive fast (as a joke).
Lamborghini had an idea then, and went to the government and pleaded his case, stating that Lamborghini was a world status symbol, and making Italy look good. And he needed somewhere to make the car drive more sporty, making more exports possible.
Three weeks later Balboni obtained a special licence.
