King Pin's men beat up Daredevil and then they thought they could defeat the Hulk just as easily!!!! The Hulk showed them that Hulk will give them a much better fight!!!!! The Hulk smashed them with ease!!!!!! Lol!!!!
@@jaymatthew738 I hadn't thought about that, but you're right. Three times threw him into a pen so a bull could trample him, and all the hulk did was bend a steel rod around them.
Yeah, I thought that. As this was basically a kids show (I loved it back in the day), they never wanted to show Hulk killing anyone. He just threw guys around a lot. It was like the A Team where you usually had a lot of guns and explosions, but no one was ever seen actually getting shot. It must have been a challenge to do that every week and still make it somewhat believable.
They probably tried various things after the first episode. The DVD set has a special feature. In it they said that they thought Lou was going to kill himself. There was a scene in the lab with fires and explosions. He was about to jump into a lot of it and they were yelling at him not to do it. He couldn't hear them and jumped anyways. It turned out okay, but they were freaked out that they couldn't stop him.
An actually realistic and down to earth production, not like all that high-tech, lifeless cg crap they use today. Those movies have no soul, i can't even stand them.
Nothing like Shang Chi...aside from being Asian he seems to be way more like Stick ...the blind part and using a stick as his weapon are big indicators
You've got to admire the metamorphosis of Banner into Hulk, strong? yes, invincible? probably...but as highlighted in this scene a lovely lacquered and hairdryer blown quaffed haircut as well.
It is incredible to me that during the 90s, Lou was much bigger than he was here in the series. I am referring to when he was participating in strongman competitions.
7:42 Li Sung's tears speak great volumes over the guilt he feels over what Steve did in his absence. His ambition to enlighten the west resulted in his obviously corrupt student to abuse his teachings and privilege in his absence to gain power. His friends and community suffered while he was gone rediscovering America. Further he was welcomed back with fear and hatred by those that now forgive him in light of the surfaced truth. Although the crimes Steve had committed are his to be punished for, Li Sung still bears responsibility as his teacher for opening the doors to skills he wasn't worthy of in the end. perhaps he believes now that he may be blind in other ways beyond the physical. He simply made a bad choice in choosing a disciple. In the end he's only human.
He never beat Arnold brother!! And it still bothers Lou ferregno. They literally rig shows to wear Schwarzenegger would win especially in 1980. I can understand to a certain extent cuz Schwarzenegger was a much better frontman for bodybuilding and love the stage was much better at getting attention. Lou ferrigno actually has a pretty bad complex about the whole thing. Lou ferrigno at his best when he came out of retirement I think at 43 years old and got up to 320 to compete would have actually beat Schwarzenegger I'm pretty sure. But like I said they rigged the shows to where Arnold would win. Well at least the 1980 one was. Arnold Schwarzenegger cast a pretty big shadow and it would have been hard to bypass him being anyone. But when I saw the interview you can tell it really bothers her for ignore that he never beat him.
The old blind man’s senses were so acute, he could defeat the evil master. But not acute enough to hear a thousand pound monster stomping and growling in the hallway outside. :D

Back to its meaningfulness, even Mr. Rogers himself visited the set to highlight the whole production. Truly, a timeless classic TV masterpiece.
Good Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Hulkamaniacs. How is everyone doing?😊👍
LMAO
This is Mean Jean Oakerland coming to you live from the Pontiac Center
WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU?!?!?!?!
3:56 suddenly a hole appears in the ceiling with a pulley rope. One of my favorite TV shows!
Someone is getting through something hard right now because you've got their back. Nice work.
Him escaping through the window being chased by the angry woman was classic 🤣! He looked at her like “Really? I so don’t have time for this, I’m out lady” 🤣
Pretty neat how the blind karate master knew it was Dr Banner.
Well maybe they still smell the same :p
i swear this particular HULK TV show was a lot like the many VIDEO GAMES i played through the years, where i had to fight my way through the early boards, and defeat the early Villains, to eventually get to the MAIN BOSS that i had to beat to finally DEFEAT and END THE GAME, LOL..
Great stuff indeed, and a lot of FUN .
3:22 Great job, Hulk, just scaring the snot out of that guy! LOL
I remember on Friday nights my mom and me would watch this, then the dukes of Hazzard and at 9 o'clock Dallas would come on and I would watch it with her if I didn't fall asleep. I miss those days and my mom. Sometimes nostalgia can be good and hard at the same time.
7:00 central time on Friday's when I watched it back in 1980-1982.
Yes, my Mom tolerated the the Hulk and I tolerated Dallas😂😂😂
7:02 ..... Yea, sounds exactly like Banner, even a blind man recognized his voice....
Tell that to Daredevil
I think Lou was genuinely confused for a second there when the old Chinese lady slapped him with the spoon! LMAO 🤣😆🤣😆
Considering the hulk doesn't usually seriously injure anyone 4:57 was pretty brutal.
Grumpy Gremlin I was going to say the same thing lmfao. Hulk literally threw a guy off a staircase. I have seen bad guys beat the shit out of David and Hulk didn't even injure them. This guy tried to kick the hulk and got thrown off a staircase damn where's the justice lol
See the Trial of the Incredible Hulk. When Hulk defends Daredevil it looks he may caused two of King Pins men to get electrocuted and they died!!!!!
@@hedgehog1965uk Unless you count that episode Dark Side. The hulk didn't kill anyone, but tried to.
The student has now become the master!
I thought that alley looked familiar!! Same one in "Terror in Times Square" except Hulk was running/limping in the opposite direction.
The little Asian guy has played with so many muscle greats like Arnold Schwarzenegger and lou farigno and more. He was one of my favorites. As a kid.
I still love this show even after all these years
A little old Asian Grandma whacks the Incredible Hulk with a wooden spoon and gets away with it LMAO!!!!
So we’re just gonna ignore the fact that the Hulk knows martial arts.
He's a green belt?
"HULK'S KUNG FU BEST THERE IS"
5:55 grab the spear with shakey rubber head 😂🤣 ..watch it on half speed to see the head shaking 😎
Because he was deaf, Lou couldn't hear the director yell "CUT!" so they had to throw ping pong balls at him to get him to stop "smashing."
That's horrifying
They probably tried various things after the first episode. The DVD set has a special feature. In it they said that they thought Lou was going to kill himself. There was a scene in the lab with fires and explosions. He was about to jump into a lot of it and they were yelling at him not to do it. He couldn't hear them and jumped anyways. It turned out okay, but they were freaked out that they couldn't stop him.
Mako and Richard Lee-Sung. Fantastic stuff!
I'm pretty sure you could break that bed post without hulking out. Apart from that, there was NOTHING unrealistic in this clip.
It is a TV show what do you expect
Are you really talking about realism when it comes to a character that turns into the incredible hulk?
I thought that as well at the time. Why didnt they tie to edge of bed where the post is thick.
Hey those bed posts were made in the 70’s when quality mattered.
What r u doin here?
This is the equivalent of Hulk teaming up with Stick.
guess Mako's character despite being blind is the closest live action TV appearance of Marvel's character Shang Chi
@@ultimor8r or he's a composite character an Asian martial artist like Shang Chi and elderly blind master using a stick weapon like Stick
I was thinking more about Zatoichi
You've got to admire the metamorphosis of Banner into Hulk, strong? yes, invincible? probably...but as highlighted in this scene a lovely lacquered and hairdryer blown quaffed haircut as well.
It is incredible to me that during the 90s, Lou was much bigger than he was here in the series. I am referring to when he was participating in strongman competitions.
That chest bump though
Thank God I never miss an episode every Saturday
Hulk wasn't even needed in this scene.
That' actually what I was thinking lol
Sit down Hulk...Uncle Irohs got this.
But somebody have to break the glass bro.
Lil' help with the henchman holding the spear but yeah he got it mostly
Hulk was just there to clean up.
0:58 I lost my shit :) I really need to watch all of these through.
My favorite show
So banner changes into the hulk and opens the window instead of smashing through it? Hysterical.
Lol yeah that was really weird, I think they messed up on that, he should have just smashed right through it, like he always does with brick walls.
Lou has really nice hair in this one.
“AND STAY OUT!” 😂
The Hulk literally contributed nothing to the blind man’s efforts
One of my favorite hulkouts 👍👍👍
Gotta love how the break away glass made a quaint little open trail for him to follow.. That's so HULK..
OH SNAP.. The Blind Man knew HULK as Banner.. Was he Stick in the HULK?!
"A Brilliant Pupil Until He Turned To Evil," in other words.
He’s also sad cause he had to kill him.
Mako is awesome in absolutely everything. Rip bud.
Lou beat arnold swartzenager in body building but his hearing and speech difficulties held him back in Hollywood
A true fighter in real life !
Lou never beat Arnold in bodybuilding. Lou was never really conditioned until later in his career
@@BJETNT those shows weren’t rigged (completely) 9 times outta ten, it comes down to conditioning and Lou’s conditioning wasn’t there.
Spot on, lou had a viral infection as a child which made him deaf but heputveverything into training whichvmade thecawedmsonecphysique here.
This was my favorite episodes with the late legendary Mako .
Mako RIP
The blind master knew it was David at the end. I found that poignant. Excellent writing.
Mako knew everything. ;)
I was waiting for Hulk to facepalm that old lady. 😂
I was a kid when this show came out. The pilot episode scared me. 😂
The old guy was the wizard from Conan the Barbarian.
Man I miss the good ole days ! I grew up on this 👍
When I was a little kid back in the 70’s this was amazing.
That old lady is legend
She smacked Hulk, and lives 😂
For that bo staff move, the Hulk should've got a green belt.
Oy....
The old blind man’s senses were so acute, he could defeat the evil master. But not acute enough to hear a thousand pound monster stomping and growling in the hallway outside. :D
