I absolutely love the 70s live action superhero theme. I especially love the custom Hulk, Banner, Shazam, Captain America and Doctor Strange figures. Speaking of Strange, yes, I do remember that movie. I actually own it on DVD, as well.
Yes, Sir! I'm a fan and subscriber of your channel. I actually own all of the 70s live action superheroes movies and TV shows on DVD. That even includes Spider-Man. I know that there isn't an official DVD release, but I bought the entire series from a seller online a few years ago that created it himself. The DVD case, menus, picture quality and sounds are top notch, too.
@@justafanofnerdculture7602 That's awesome! I'm missing one figure but I'm working on it....The Cathy Lee Crosby Wonder Woman. Thanks for subscribing my friend!!
Your opening shot of all of those figures, boxes, etc was my childhood TV shows. I spent the early 70's playing with my Mego Superheroes action figures, Planet of the Apes figures, Star Trek, and I even had a few Knights of the Round Table and oddly some Wizard of Oz figures. But these actual show figures I didn't have or even seen? I definitely subscribed to this channel. I loved the 70's and 80's. The toys were unbelievably fun and unique. Thank you for sharing these with us. Take care and God Bless.
That's awesome!!!!!!! I thought it would be cool to put all the 70s super heroes in one shot for people like you that actually remember the ones that came before all this modern era stuff. Thanks for checking out the video my friend!!!!!!!
A real blast to see; great collection. Those were some all some of my favorites back then (only needed a few more like Wonderbug, Wildboy & Bigfoot, a Land of the Lost Sleestak, the Ark II crew, and maybe Man from Atlantis and you'd have had my childhood.) What an aweful shame for them to have put out Electra Woman but no Dyna-Girl. Even worse than how we had Starbuck but no Apollo since I was at least able to quick fix Starbucks hair with a brown marker and make a decent Apollo. What I'd like to see is a company to come out with a dedicated 70s line (so they all our childhood favs can finally have figure and be at the same scale).
Thank you for checking out the video!!! I agree if a company would put out merchandise really dedicated to the 70s I think it would have a lot of interest. I just put together a Cathy Lee Crosby Wonder Woman and a Mr. Roarke Fantasy Island figure. I'm going to do a video soon. Thanks again for the kind words my friend!
Nice collection sir 👍🏽brings back memories I have a question on Spider-Man TV show didn't they change his cheese grater eyes & web shooters on the outside of his costume to more comic book look later in the series?
They definitely did, I wish I had cheese grater eyes on my figures, but that is beyond my skill level. Thank you very much for checking out the video. The 70s Super hero stuff is the best!
Essa época era mágica quando víamos figuras de ação baseadas em super heróis da TV, inclusive o rosto dos bonecos se parecia com os atores...éramos felizes, hein!
I love the Bixby Ferrigno Hulk set. Actually all your characters are amazing, but the only problem is 79 Captain America only had a helmet. He wore no mask. Back to the Hulk set. They either should have made Banner shorter or Hulk taller. Also I like the Superman serials with Kirk Alyn. They were fun. But the first two seasons of The Adventures of Superman with George Reeves was very serious. I suggest you watch them or rewatch them. Your point of view will change. The color seasons also had some serious episodes, but the majority were silly.
These are toys and I think you are taking things a bit serious. Captain Americas outfit was consistently changing. I have seen the George Reeves Superman and I have to laugh when I see his fat belly in his outfit. Hard for me to take that serious. Fun though.
@80stoymania "The Adventures of Superman" was a syndicated television series that ran from September of 1952 to April of 1958. You were probably thinking of the 1948 15-part Columbia Pictures matinee serial "Superman" and it's follow up serial "Atom Man vs. Superman" from 1950. Both of which starred (Kirk Alyn as Superman). Form my point of view "The Adventures of Superman" TV series that starred "George Reeves"? Would have been a lot better if Superman's comic book villains were portrayed on the show. And if I'm not mistaken? The 1978 "Dr. Strange" television film may have been created as a pilot for a proposed television series.
@@80stoymania Thank you. It's of kind hard to judge because the films trailer isn't showing a whole lot. On the other hand, this will be the first time that "Brainiac" will be brought to the big screen and I'm excited for that. Speaking of which! Did you know that in the original screenplay for Superman III? "Brainiac" was going to be the main villain?

Sorry pal....I'm just referring to the special effects being much more improved by the 70s. I'm no Shakespeare. I love everything Superman made in the 20th century.
I never knew they made all these back in the 70s. I never seen this stuff in any of the stores in my area back then. Amazing
Some of it is 70s Mego. Some stuff is custom. Thank you for checking out the video my friend!!!!

I had no idea these figures were made because of I did my parents would of gotten me the Hulk.
Hulk was my favorite show back at the tail end of the 70s. Did you ever see the Spider-man 1978 show?
@80stoymania Yes! I use to Rent it from Sound Warehouse when that place was still in business.

Wow!! Customs??? The Cap.America and Tv Hulk and Tv spiderman.AWESOME!!! what company made those?
I put those together myself with parts, and I was able to get the boxes from a custom box guy. The Captain America packaging I made.
I just put out a 70s TV Spider-Man video.
