Venetoclax with FLAG-IDA for AML

Iman Aboudalle, MD, American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon, discusses the rationale and promising results from a phase Ib/II single center clinical trial (NCT03214562) of venetoclax, a BCL-2 inhibitor, in combination with FLAG-IDA (fludarabine, cytarabine, idarubicin, and filgrastim or pegfilgrastim) in patients with newly diagnosed or relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
