I LOVE AMERICA WE ARE VERY POWERFULL AND VERY TACTICAL . GOD BLESS OUR ARMYS...
FYI the Yemeni men make the taliban look like a boyscout troop that gives up easily !!! And we all know how that ended !!

@@cøle1312 no cap, they are comparable to the Vietnamese
0:41 Houthis are attacking ships in solidarity with Palestinians not Hamas, but we all know why you said that instead. I’m really proud of millennial Americans they’re more educated abt this conflict than your generation. I have hopes for America 🇺🇸 as soon as these millennials take it over
Shouldn't we be at DEFCON 2?
There has been reports that Iran is encouraging the proxy forces to not provoke the US because they don’t want a direct confrontation
No. There isn't a direct threat to the U.S. proper
Personally I've been on defcon 2 for a few months now.
I was on deployment in the US Navy twice over there.

Best military in the world USA..
The houthis should ask Japan what we did to them when they messed with our boats.
You should know that Yemen is not Japan. It is foolish to fight a country that has nothing to lose.
@ebrahimhabib949 how dastardly you are for trying to excuse terrorism. It doesn't matter who you are... you don't get to attack merchant ships in international waters.
@@ebrahimhabib949 nothing to lose? How about their very lives?
@ebrahimhabib949 and you're right... Yemen and Japan are very different... Japan was actually a challenging fight. Yemen... well they dont even rank on the list of worthy adversaries

And this is why ignorance is always bad. Belittling your enemy due to any reason can be a fatal decision, and The Houthies are literally risking their lives on this and they see it from a different angle, on the other hand the west will never sacrifice their lives for important issues.
Time will show us who is righteous at the end and I hope you would be alive to comment then.
Shouldnt be over there
And protecting international shipping that the world depends on? Yeah ok stay in gated community and keep you nieve opinions to yourself
@@YoinkMasterTonyhe thinks the US just spends tons of money cause they like helping people, theirs clearly bigger interests here
Some comments like yours are so naive.
All this for Israel.
@@YoinkMasterTonyonly shipping being stopped was going to Zionist Israel until they stopped committing genocide.
If shippers have to spend X amount of $$$ in fuel by shipping around the horn of Africa, what is the USA, (ie: US Taxpayers), paying to fuel ships and aircraft/drones/etc in the Red Sea, plus over 7,000 US military men and women. All at US Taxpayer expense as well.
11:11 And yet the Biden administration has released Billions of dollars to Iran.
I DO AGREE to the answer of the RADM when asked if its worth to shot the missiles of the Houtis by their expensive missile to protect the trade route. "SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT AT ALL TIMES". Money is nothing if safety is not given the priority.
I want US Gov to grant permission to Navy for fully autonomous operations for this war.
Imagine if US goods & manufacturing stayed in & was conducted by Americans 100%
But nope , gotta import what we are already capable of & spend billions to ensure other countries get your business & tax dollars
I thought the world was round 😂
Debatable
The fact that the navy wont destroy their launch sites once and for all just shows how important it is to keep the weapons industry alive at the cost of US taxpayers
"Their launch sites once and for all" LMAO you realize the Houthis have portable launchers right?😂😂
This is why you don't play around with a major country that doesn't have a free healthcare for its people.
Those aren't scripted questions at all.
Good ole 60 minutes..the go to govt. Propaganda show
Who do we send the Bill to?
Egypt.
Hey 60minutes prove me wrong!
Will Brad Cooper play ADM Cooper for the movie??
I actually thought the Navys response would be, to host a Carrier Group Drag Show... That'll teach those radical houthis!
Republic of Texas ⭐
I am sure you can not restore safe navigation now.
VIVA PALESTINA!!!!!!!🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
This report does not tell the whole story. Where's the journalists?
So I am no military strategist but wouldn't it make more sense to shoot at where the drones and missiles come from in Yemen instead of just shooting out at sea? This sounds dumb.
They do, that just isn't the focus of this piece. They were trying to highlight the anti-missile operations at protection. Not the counter-offensive strikes. The Navy launches ship to surface missile barrages on Houthi launch sites and bases in Western Yemen. The Admiral does mention that briefly in the video that they are finding and targeting launch sites after the Houthis reveal them.
Wow how left can they go? Sixty minutes used to be impartial 😢
But, but, but we were told that Orange Man Bad was going to get us into wars?????
This one route disrupted cost a lot on global trades... Now imagine if this is a full scale war.
Anti ship missiles were used in the Falklands.
Prayers for protection ❤❤❤
I'm surprised that a Red Sea convoy system wasn't implemented.
God Bless All of our US service men n woman and get them back home Safely n With their Families for a Stable n Peaceful. World !!

The captain of the destroyer's rank is Commander. This is standard practice in the Navy.

Yemen's Coastline does NOT lead in and out of the Suez Canal. Yemen's coastline leads in and out of the Red Sea.
US Engagement List: …Houthi ✅….
Hasn't our ally Saudi Arabia been waging a brutal war in Yemen for several years? Is that the cause of these attacks on our shipping?
Glad to see we have Dr. Disrespect at the helm
@5:00 is it only me or is it tragic comedic irony watching Cooper complain about proliferation of high tech weapons accessible to a dirt poor nation like Somalia.
"Just take them out." "End of story...!! "Or maybe you are funding them.....!!! 👀
First time watching 60 minutes, looks like the last 60 minutes encounter.
Alhamdulillah Allah is always the greatest 💖
We label them as terrorists, but we are the ones going through their waters, not respecting their air space and sea space.
They are international waters, they don’t belong to “them”, and when they attack innocent merchant vessels prohibiting free trade, the US needs to come babysit.
can you see all the innocent civilians at the 5:00 min mark ?
