People with mental health issues can get married and have a great marriage. So do those with epilepsy. Much as I love your ministry I beg to differ in this clip. I totally understand where you're coming from about seeking God's face and enquiring about the family but what if one of the spouses develop mental health issues after marriage? And are we saying the epileptic child of God cannot be married? Just my thoughts...
Love the message, but then who marries the girls with issues? when u love someone and discover they have issues, u leave them?, especially if its not their faults? where's the place of bearing one another's burdens or the fullness of love as defined in 1cor 13..... Fine, we shouldn't marry a stranger, its a different thing if the person's character isn't compatible with urs, but then when it comes to spiritual problems, what if she was just a friend, or a sister? It is important for us to know what we are going into before marrying. Imagine after marrying, you discover that your wife doesn't have a womb and you didn't know. You will feel cheated, lied to, used and abused. Marriage that you should enjoy you will then start enduring. On the other hand, if you know before marriage and you are cconvinced to go ahead, you will have already prepared yourself for the possibility of being childless or waiting on God for a miracle.
