I have decided to follow Jesus I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back. No looking back.” Jesus. You are the only one I have and so I choose you Lord. I choose you over and over again. By God’s Grace, I will come back to testify!

Deliberately going into a union with someone of a different set of beliefs and values will be like members of the same team playing against themselves. They are set up for failure. The lady did not follow her friend's advice. She gave in a little too early. Patience is a virtue

Very correct. We are called out of every tribe, tongue and nation to be one in the Body of Christ. We should therefore marry in the Body of Christ - not from tribe, tongue and nation again! If you are lucky to meet your tribe or your tongue or your nation in addition to the Body of Christ, that's okay. If not, marry from the Body of Christ - you will be learning the cultures of the tribe, tongue and nation as you gradually intertwine together!
Parents shouldn’t be so obsessed with who their children marry, if the concern is the well being of their children it should make sense but when it’s cultural it’s ignorance and can lead to many unfortunate situations…even death in some cases. Never let ego and culture be the decision maker of who you chose to marry…It never goes well, because in marriage you do NOT become one through these fallible things. You’re one in values and character, and one through consuming the marriage; if you weren’t suitable before you won’t magically become suitable in marriage…It’s so grieving to know this is the reality of so many people. I’m 24, I know God will send my husband my way soon. My parents keep saying that he must be an Igbo man because we are also from Igbo.
