Those are the best! Security in Rattay in top notch for people with torches :P But the other good part if you can time it correctly is that if you murder someone but do not have a torch and they're coming at you for the torch crime before a murder was committed you usually can pay off the torch crime and everything else goes away. Hard to pull off and totally not worth it, but can be done.
I rarely touched alcohol in KCD, but recently I wanted to experiment with all skills and tried it. Didn't realise how potent moonshine was at low level drinking skill and passed out minutes later. First time passing out in a non-scripted event. Ended up half-way across the map in what I can only assume was a serial killers lair in a cave in the middle of the woods at midnight. It didn't seem like a poachers hideout because there were no animals, but lots of human bodies and lots of blood leading down a staircase. Needless to say I don't mess around with alcohol much anymore. Absolutely terrified me.
I think I have come across that location, but not certain where it is...but waking up there at midnight, first time playing the game which makes it pretty spooky IMO. This game does have a little horror element with headphones on and a little active imagination. I know this game is going for "realistic" approach, but if they added in a barely visible ghost or monster in this game very rarely, I would've had to buy new pants. I think adding that into the game would take it to the next level.
@@helicalgoose if I remember correctly, it was in the woods to the east, or south east of Uzhitz, north of Neuhof. It wasn't so much a mine. There were steps leading down to a single small room dug out of the rock and outside there were a few bodies with arrows in them (possibly a few hanging people too, if I recall). Even if it's nothing to do with some Bohemian serial killer, something nasty definitely went on there
@@jack100520 Ahhhh! I know exactly what you're talking about. I was messing around with that little (watery area stairway) room for a bit. You can get under the map in there too! I was going to use it for some "mischievous" things, but unfortunately it is too far out from people to use :(
I watched a dev Tobi playing KCD a few months ago and he said there's a special place in the game where you can wake up after drinking, but only once in whole your playthrough. It should be in some deer stand in the woods with no ladder but with a chest with (according to the dev) some totally random stuff (I dont remember what stuff, perhaps an egg?), and a traffic cone which is apparently a reference to Red dwarf, where it was said something like "It was not a great party if you didn't wake up with a traffic cone in your bed". A pretty nice easter egg, I think.
Oh nice, I didn't know the history behind that thanks :D I also did not know that it was a once in a game sort of deal to wake up in those places, that is interesting. But I have been inside those chests, I actually did a video on it last week. There are two of those chests in the world and they have decent loot in there. I show you can get in there without mods and without blacking out :P
@@helicalgoose Thanks for the tip, I will watch it. This video showed on my recommended, I just subscribed and found out I had watched your videos Trying to break KCD series some months ago. It was fun! Edit: Oh, and the deer stand is apparently the only place in the game where you can wake up only once, the dev Tobi said. Others can be repeated as you experienced here.
I watched a video about that deer stand and they did some mod to fly up in the stand and open the chest. Then he went on to say conspiracy theories about it but now I know I really know the truth lol
I think you're 100% correct on that or in the ballpark. The part that annoyed me though, is when the game teleported me across the map, I would get drunk again and it would teleport me to the other side again, then just to nearby areas like wtf. But there has to be a % thing in there where it takes you further and further on a random chance. Still seen quite a few places, but I am certain there are a bunch more out there.
my first blackout drunk henry moment got me in the cave you got into on your first go. Spooked the shit out of me and also got me running away from bandits in the pitch black!
Haha, that spot is absolutely terrifying if you do not have a torch! Also, if you ended up there in hardcore mode, oh that would be a big pain also trying to get back out of the cave to a town! Jeez. There were only a couple spots like this one that I would rather drink myself into black out than try to get out of there :P
Haha, Henry is visiting all the spots just to make certain that the people are still buried/dead. Or either he went back to talk trash on them while being drunk.
That is not a bad idea. Someone was mentioning that this would be a fun live-stream of "guess where we are" sort of thing. Almost like a geo-guesser :P
To save Skaltiz, Henry has to throw the biggest binger all of Bohemia has ever seen. God, I wish I knew how to mod, this would be a great "mission" where you can open the gates of Skaltiz and have to get enough alcohol in a certain time to get everyone blacked out to save them :P
@@Jordan-rb28 Maybe it is... I will have to check, but do NPCs feel the effects of alcohol if I spike their food? I do not know if the Skaltiz people even eat, since technically time is frozen...but if you could get everyone smashing drunk :P

I know exactly where you are talking about. I was doing some side work with horses trying to get them on roofs and I found a stash up there and was like wtf! But like you said, nothing of real value :(
This is true! Ride out to the middle of no where and start getting Henry drunk as ever. People could also bet on the locations where you could end up too as well as guess the actually place Henry ends up. :P
didn't know that drunk Henry might come across treasures, but I remember passing time during the Talmerg siege by just boozing and waking up in random places. I also remember that someone said the debuff that makes you walk during sleeping in Hardcore mode teleports you to the same locations, and when I played hardcore kcd it was very embarassing to wake up in hay outside of the monastery as a novice
lol, that is right! The nightmare perk sort of teleports you, but only a short distances, just think it worked exactly as the black out perk and you end up half way across the map!
@@the_Leszcz Yup, sounds accurate. I think the Inn in the Glave, when you sleep there, it kicks you out to the outhouse/pig sty. I don't know which one I would like less if I had to deal with in real life :P
Haha, that is true. The one perk that teleports you whenever you sleep can be scary at the start of the game, because sometimes it just puts you in near random encounter spawns and its just like damn... No horse, no armor, a club for a weapon, starving, and now a gang of cumans wants to say hello...well shoot. The classic 1403 Bohemian experience I see.
Always easter eggs, or secret/special areas in games give me too many spooks. I’m glad your commentary is so pleasant to offset the eeriness of some locations! Watching just before bed doesn’t help. 😅 Great episode!
Thanks :D The hard part was finding some of the other spooky locations, I know I have ran into some in the middle of the night and turned around like NOPE! That is what great about the game is finding strange things in the middle of no where and trying to figure out what the heck just happened. I think recently I walked into a place near Sassu, and there was a dead woman in the middle of small shack, and I know I didn't kill her, and nothing to loot no clues, just like wtf is going on...And I thought I have been everywhere in Sassu but I guess not.
@@helicalgoose I also remember a dude with a dagger in his head lying in a stream between two charcoal burners' camps to the north from neuhof and a dead drunk guy in a shack to the south from neuhof, there are just so many weird things around the map
Wow there are so many comments yet you respond to most or all of them. Not only do you respond but most of them are unique, as a viewer we can see how much you care about your audience. Mad respect for you and your channel, keep up the good work!
Ah many thanks :D I try to respond to many comments as possible. Sometimes with some comments, I have no idea what to say which might be why I do not respond to them. Typically I give every comment a little "thumbs up" at minimum to mark that I have read it at sometime. I think the biggest barrier to responding to all the comments is being in the right mind frame because I have to think what I want to say and sometimes coming off of work my poor brain can't think :P But I will keep trying to respond as many as I can until because I do appreciate the comments from people because they say some nice things, but also people do give me good criticism that I can possible use to help improve videos in the future. Like one person was telling me to buy a pop filter for my mic, (which I still need to do), but these sort of comments help and I like them all :D
Imagine they add a couple of things related to this in KCD 2. Stumbling into a quest-related location, which is supposed to be a top-secret base of some baddie, and you expose their plans while drinking to oblivion
Haha, you know that would be a great idea for KCD2, where you have a very small % chance to get into some special areas that jumps you ahead of the game and see something extra. That would keep all of trying to drink ourselves to blackout. The one thing they did mention in the live stream is that they said they will allow people to steal your clothes then wear them, which could make some funny situations.
I can just imagine the villagers of all the towns and the wayfarers watching henry stumble his way across the roads and just falling over and hitting his head and passing out right there
I like to think that the villagers watching Henry pass out get scared and give up drinking once they see his body gets teleported across the countryside.
I've been thinking, after recently playing through this again I've noticed something that is actually pretty freaking creepy and how it could possibly make a pretty good video. As I was returning to the mill with Theresa after one of the courtship dates you go on with her it suddenly hit me after the conversation with her ended. Her facial expressions go from a happy go lucky smile to a dead robot like expression as she says "please come again". Later on as I was standing at an inn I started to notice that every single npc was staring at me as if transfixed with the same dead looking robot like expression. Even later on I noticed that when you turn around all the grass, trees, bushes and everything else that is programed to move around as if the wind is moving them immediately flare up like grass does after you step on it and step off and it does it every single time you look away from it and then back at it. Anyway I was thinking it could be something like "How kcd is secretly terrifying"
It is not a bad idea. This might be a good idea to start filling a folder full "unsettling things" that happen in KCD and write a real script for something like that. There are plenty of times I walk upon bodies "that I did not kill" and I start to get unsettled, even though I am roleplaying as an freaken T34 tank. Even digging up graves, the stuff you find in there, or people hanging and it just makes you stop and think in your head like crap...this is..crap. And I probably said this before, but if KCD had a little fog effects at night, and have a creepy silhouette of things moving in the forest in the dead of night, this game could be an effective horror game without even trying.
@@helicalgoose ikr, after I found what could only be described as a serial killers hideout in the sasau woods that had around 4-5 dead women in various states of decay I've become convinced that he/she was actually in the house before I arrived and have been actively searching for whoever it was. The worst part of that particular location though isn't what's inside, it's when you hang around the place after midnight. If you put headphones on you can actually hear someone walking behind you. At first I thought it was just an animal moving around like they do but the sound didn't match up with any. It doesn't always happen though which makes me think it's either failing to load properly like it does or a secret random encounter that also doesn't always load.. Or maybe I was just imagining it.
@@jasonoverman9679 Oh Sassu? I will have to look into that, there is another one south east of rattay in the forest that is just a butcher tower, like wtf. I ran into that one looking for traffic cones, thought I would find one there, but that gruesome scene lol. But all the game has to do is some subtle music, some extra fog effects and maybe little trick of the eye and no explanation and that area is cursed forever. Especially if you're on hardcore mode and you're lost running into that in the middle of the night.
Happy New year to you too :D I wish I could give a full information on how black out drinking works, but maybe for another video if I get a better idea.
oh maaaaaaaaan, loved looking for and sometimes setting up the most fun places to teleport player to when blacking out, thanks for enjoying it so much :D
Ah you did a great job on all the small little spots that made nearly every blackout an experience. Definitely some spots that I never ran across playing the game normally exploring the woods and such. Love your work through the years, on Kingdom Come of course, but Dying Light 2 and DayZ. Looking forward to your new projects :D

Haha, laughed my ass off! What an excellent editing job! Must have taken ages to edit this all together. PS: I love the drunken sailors in the background! :D
Ah many thanks :D and welcome back! With the healthy four day weekend, I was able to spend a little extra time to put something together. I have lots of ideas just never enough time to put them out within a week, not without some time off from work.
Ah many thanks :D I was going to do a 100 different locations, but I started to take a drink every time Henry ended up in a location I have already been in. Needless to say, I started to do some of my own blackout adventures. :P
You know, that would actually be a good little mini-game. Show a bunch of locations one a time and have people be able to mark the location on the map and you get so many points based on how close you were to it. Honestly I would have a hard time with 3/4 of the locations people show me, I just happen to run into them randomly.
I play on console, but I've always wondered can you find secret spots from getting drunk blacked out before the sack of Skallitz? Like spawn in spirits prior to leaving
Yah I gave that a try a long time ago, had that same thought in my head :P Unfortunately, if you can not "wait" in the game then when you get to the point of blacking out, the screen goes black for a second, but you just stand in the same place after you come back, no time passes or anything sort of a bummer :(
Many thanks! Henry getting drunk and lost in tons of places sound about on character for him if he followed in the foot steps of Fritz and Matthew. :P *starts pouring out a drink*
I got Henry blackout drunk and ended up in a normally inaccessibly area in Rattay (in St Matthew's tower - inaccessible under normal circumstances) - there was a treasure chest up there too.
Yup, that tower with the little box up there for some reason. The one thing I do wish was that the boxes in those crazy areas had some collectables or something. They have basic junk but no Easter eggs of any sort. Such a shame.
Now I'm wondering, what will happen, if you black out during the tutorial in Skalitz. Can you get out of Skalitz, early, that way? Also: Can you get out of prison, by blacking out? Also also: It would be pretty funny, if other drunks would randomly pop up all over the map, and asking were they are. 37:22 / No 81 The bag in the well is Treasure No V.
Ah, I have tried to blackout during the tutorial time, both Skalitz and Talmberg. The moment Henry is about to blackout, the screen goes black, but instead of blacking out, he just comes back as max drunk but nothing special. Its sad :( By prison time sort of teleports you away deal I believe so even with timing it before you go to jail/blacking out the prison will always happen, can't escape it from my own testing, but maybe there is something else we can do. "Also also: It would be pretty funny, if other drunks would randomly pop up all over the map, and asking were they are." This needs to be a mod or a random encounter :P Its doesn't need to happen that often but would be a good extra random encounter!
I like to think Henry had some PTO saved up and decided to do some traveling. Thus he grabbed a map and a bag full of booze and decided to see the Bohemia countryside, all the good and bad.
Oh god! That is just mean. I never had that happen before, but that would be something for a surprise for everyone, Henry, bandits and yourself included.
You have some good ears on you! Lots of those homm2 verse 3 themes sort of blend in together for me, I have a hard time telling them apart. But honestly, the HOMM series has some of the best "chill" background music ever.
Hmm. I need to start a new game and get him to blackout in Skalitz after forging the sword but before giving Theresa her nails. He'd have conpleted his duties and father could get the nails, thus no one would need to wake him, so does he just die or wake up in a pile of corpses?
I tried blacking out before around that time, what happens is that Henry just blinks for a long time (screen goes black) but then he just sort of just exists in that super drunk state. Same if you bring down sleep all the way too, he just sort of becomes the sleep walker of Skaltiz, that is until after you get back to Talmberg, then he just knocks outs.
I had the same worries about when I was editing the video, where I thought I would just skip through as fast as possible. But I think it helps when I do not linger at any location too long except when there is something interesting. Just sucks I did not get more of the interesting places :/
At 22:55 you say we can get to the little box in the rafters of the Church by 'Thief Jumping', what is that? Do I have to learn it from someone somewhere?
Ah, "Beef Jumping". I have a little tutorial video on that marked below. You can also use crackling, so you don't have to put down a beef every single time, you can just drop multiple. But this is a good way to mess with the game :D ruclips.net/video/-wj1hfVWOz8/видео.html
The only problem to that thought was that even in the same spots, I was still getting new locations, but sometimes the same. And when I got drunk in the new spots they led me back to the old spots, like wtf. But then again...hmmm got me thinking Karmit. So maybe a higher % chance to getting into a spot if you're closer to it?
@@helicalgoose well just think about how when you were drunk in that farm you kept teleporting just a couple feet away, maybe it was genuinely random chance but I got a feeling it's based on where you're already at. Maybe you should try going somewhere you haven't tried this and see if it leads anywhere new? I could be completely wrong I've never done this before.
@@karmitdafruge1 I think you might be right overall. Seeing other comments about the same thing makes me think there is something to it. I will have to do a little test study here and there to check it out :D
You know those were the locations I wanted! I mostly ended up in caves or fields. Sort of boring locations after awhile. And after blacking out over a 100 times I thought I would've got the witch one :( But as you said, I have no idea where it is.
I realise now how lucky I was, because I never played for it and blacked out drinking maybe 5 times total. It's been some time, I only remember it was quite open area. I suppose those are made very rare by design, and it seemed quite often you just end up close to where you passed out.
@@aamgdp There are a surprising amount of "special areas" in the game. Like the area with the two skeletons in the cave on the side of mountain, like how in the heck do you stumble upon that normally? I am certain I probably walked past tons of easter eggs :P
That is interesting then. I have a strange hunch that where you black out will determine where you end up at different locations. The only problem to that thought was that even in the same spots, I was still getting new locations, but sometimes the same. So maybe a higher % chance to getting into a spot if you're closer to it?
@@helicalgoose I think that depending on where you pass out you have greater chances to get somewhere specific but you still could get anywhere. I had to try three of four times to get to the cone.

Not quite, or I do not think so. This body looks like a younger guy with no scruff on the face. Reeky was not clean shaven, but I can see the sort of similarities :P It made me do a little double take.
I tried to do the same thing as you to get to the interesting locations but i dont get that often even though i reset my perks. And when pass time i dont black out
Yup! That is some good pickup on the music. I am always surprised that people still remember HMM3. The game is a classic, but I have not played it in over 15 years, but I still got the music on my computer, which just speaks volumes how well put together that game was. Now, the latest HMM games...well don't know what happened there...
Until I did this video I do not think I ever blacked out with Henry. But once I learned about all the sweet spots you could end up like that watchtower, well, then bottoms up!

Maybe it can be useful, if we can figure out the exact mechanics of the blackout locations it takes you to.
I wish they would add the next level of realism and allow us to eat the poppies with alcohol like in the real medieval times...:) Henry has pain which alcohol alone can't relieve..He should go to rehab.
Ah, if this was skyrim I would just have Henry pop poppies non-stop to add that realism in there :P Poor Henry's liver after this. At least the taverns are now flushed with groschen.
It's quite fun doing this on HC without using the empty cage exploit. I was in Rattay then ended up on the edge of the map north of Ushitz. I was like "Oh shit where am I?" No pun intended😂
Thank you for this video. Now I'm sure that I can safely take "Safe passage" perk without losing interesting content because there is none and all talks about interesting mechanics around drinking to oblivion is scam.
Yah, the "safe passage" perk is probably the best bet out of the drinking tree, especially in hardcore mode and you don't feel like riding back from far away :P
unfortunately not. What happens when Henry gets super drunk in Skalitz he goes blacked out but then opens his eyes again in the same spot. So you just end up being really drunk around Skalitz until you sober up. I am sure back in 2018 people could've done this :P
If we could control the areas by drinking certain type of booze to direct Henry in a certain direction of the map, I would be all for it! But also, getting super drunk on Hardcore mode traveling like this seems to get my Henry killed more than help him out situations :P
Obviously only fast travel in that case is to have some of the best horses, but somnibulence trait often leads you on some interesting place if you are camping in forest or you are on important quest - at least for me there was some sweet spots between annoying moments. Worst part is finding out where tf you are :D but would be fun to have like beer for rattay, wine for sassau, brnady for talmberg - u must get blackout drunk and then it will (maybe) send you towards that destination :D
@@krystofcisar469 I was thinking that if this was real I I would be 100% on board with that sort of thing if that was in real life fast travel, now only if Hair of the dog was a real thing to cure hangover right away then I would travel the world!

Hey man - somebody once suggested a challenge run to me on Reddit of beating the whole game while drunk. Have you ever tried doing that? I haven't gotten to it yet as a big problem early on is actually getting access to enough booze to keep the meter from running out, but this video sure reminded me of it.
@@cdru515 I mean you could but it wouldn't restore much energy. It'd probably be better to just drink cockerels since they restore a nice chunk of energy. They're even alcoholic so you can keep the meter up!
It depends how drunk. I think Schwarzes Fleisch has a point that it is easy to stay the first level drunk, but the 2nd level drunk that could be doable too and I would think that would be more of the challenge. First level drunk you're still able to run and act "normally" Second level drunk you can not "run" anymore which is a huge pain. Also, stealth is essentially gone. Now can you do this for the entire game? Well yes...and no. The hardest part to deal with is at the start of the game where you got to avoid eating anything that is not booze. Also you would have to rush to reading/alchemy to get the digestive potions made plus moonshine to keep you in the drunk state but also feed/energy. Cockatrice potions could work too. (20 energy with 10 nourishment I believe). It is possible but would require some planning to keep Henry from getting too "full" Also, under the rule set I am guessing you're going to have to accept alcoholism which is -3 to a bunch of stats. Interesting challenge. Annoying one, but I think it might be worth trying out sometime :P
I do really like this game too, mostly because of the depth that got put into this. Heck, before doing this video, I blacked out more in real life, than in this game :P
Sometimes I do too. Honestly it is one of the better haircuts for Henry in this game (other than the original). But if I feel "spicy" I go for the Henry the porn star look. It does make the cut-scene quite a bit more fun ;)
The first time I experienced blackout drunk Henry he woke up in the middle of the night in his old house in Skalitz. It was a downer moment.

Edit: Oh, and the deer stand is apparently the only place in the game where you can wake up only once, the dev Tobi said. Others can be repeated as you experienced here.
lol thanks :D
Also my voice is probably quite a bit different from that video because of my new mic but that is for the better ;)
I watched a video about that deer stand and they did some mod to fly up in the stand and open the chest. Then he went on to say conspiracy theories about it but now I know I really know the truth lol
Basically, the game chooses places near you to teleport most of the time. Its only rarely that the game teleports you across the entire map
I've always found Henry to be so amusing, the things he must get up to while drunk is probably the smartest he has ever done lmao.
Plot twist: all rural locations are where Henry killed and berried people before we started the game
Haha, Henry is visiting all the spots just to make certain that the people are still buried/dead. Or either he went back to talk trash on them while being drunk.
@@helicalgoose 😂😂😂😂 Id probably talk trash like that
This would be a thousand times more fun on hardest difficulty where you dont know where you are on the map.
That is not a bad idea. Someone was mentioning that this would be a fun live-stream of "guess where we are" sort of thing. Almost like a geo-guesser :P
Im going to buy the whole town a drink and save everyone in Skalitz from Sigismund. They will never find us when we blackout
What if that was possible lol
@@Jordan-rb28 Maybe it is...
I will have to check, but do NPCs feel the effects of alcohol if I spike their food?
I do not know if the Skaltiz people even eat, since technically time is frozen...but if you could get everyone smashing drunk :P

I don't know why but the lyrics of "Club goin' up, on a Tuesday"...da da da...she chosey...da da da comes to mind.

Out of hundred tries you never woke up on the roof of the monastery guard tower with the secret stash. Spoiler: It contains nothing of value.
I know exactly where you are talking about.
I was doing some side work with horses trying to get them on roofs and I found a stash up there and was like wtf!
But like you said, nothing of real value :(
Why am I not surprised, that the "Polish Undercut" haircut, is the most fitting one for a drunkard?
The polish undercut and the mustache though has the best 80s porn star look though.
You can do a live streaming of “guess where’s Henry” lol
@@helicalgoose it is already embarassing enough when you just want to save and stop at an inn and wake up in a field or in a pile of manure
@@the_Leszcz Yup, sounds accurate.
I think the Inn in the Glave, when you sleep there, it kicks you out to the outhouse/pig sty. I don't know which one I would like less if I had to deal with in real life :P
Only ever played Hardcore mode, and waking up in an unknown place in Hardcore means a whole day of trying to figure out how to get out of the woods
The classic 1403 Bohemian experience I see.

lol, I feel like Henry's drunkenness rubs off on me too. Got to get into character, including the pronunciations :P
Always easter eggs, or secret/special areas in games give me too many spooks. I’m glad your commentary is so pleasant to offset the eeriness of some locations! Watching just before bed doesn’t help. 😅 Great episode!
Thanks :D
The hard part was finding some of the other spooky locations, I know I have ran into some in the middle of the night and turned around like NOPE!
Ah many thanks :D
I try to respond to many comments as possible. Sometimes with some comments, I have no idea what to say which might be why I do not respond to them.
Typically I give every comment a little "thumbs up" at minimum to mark that I have read it at sometime.
I think the biggest barrier to responding to all the comments is being in the right mind frame because I have to think what I want to say and sometimes coming off of work my poor brain can't think :P
But I will keep trying to respond as many as I can until because I do appreciate the comments from people because they say some nice things, but also people do give me good criticism that I can possible use to help improve videos in the future.
Like one person was telling me to buy a pop filter for my mic, (which I still need to do), but these sort of comments help and I like them all :D
I love that you killed the mercenary and took his wine
Waking up next to a shovel, a grave, and a corpse with a ridiculous haircut and beard after getting smashed...Wow this game IS super-realistic...
Hilarious and informative as always :D Great job Helical, I hope you have a great year!
Happy New year to you too :D

oh maaaaaaaaan, loved looking for and sometimes setting up the most fun places to teleport player to when blacking out, thanks for enjoying it so much :D

I was going to do a 100 different locations, but I started to take a drink every time Henry ended up in a location I have already been in.
Needless to say, I started to do some of my own blackout adventures. :P
alternative title: KCD geoguesser
You know, that would actually be a good little mini-game.
Show a bunch of locations one a time and have people be able to mark the location on the map and you get so many points based on how close you were to it.
Honestly I would have a hard time with 3/4 of the locations people show me, I just happen to run into them randomly.
@@helicalgoose that would be very entertaining
I play on console, but I've always wondered can you find secret spots from getting drunk blacked out before the sack of Skallitz?
Like spawn in spirits prior to leaving
Yah I gave that a try a long time ago, had that same thought in my head :P
Unfortunately, if you can not "wait" in the game then when you get to the point of blacking out, the screen goes black for a second, but you just stand in the same place after you come back, no time passes or anything sort of a bummer :(

Thank you for the quality content

I feel like I had to use that drunken sailor music for this video. I mean there are not that many iconic songs such as that around :D
I like that you can degrade your liver and get rewarded for it at the same time
1403 Livers were built differently. The more alcohol you consumed the better they get.
In this case, Henry's liver gained the ability to time travel.
Henry had to reduce his God powers to get drunk. Drinking with his Godhood would destroy the universe and reset it
Dont just stand there lad.. pour us a drink
@@SirRockXIII *pours drink*

So it seems each Blackout location has a secret treasure hidden near by.
Almost. Some of them are just strange Easter Egg sort of deals or just you end up in a haystack because Henry got too drunk :P
Its sad :(
By prison time sort of teleports you away deal I believe so even with timing it before you go to jail/blacking out the prison will always happen, can't escape it from my own testing, but maybe there is something else we can do.
"Also also: It would be pretty funny, if other drunks would randomly pop up all over the map, and asking were they are."
This needs to be a mod or a random encounter :P
Its doesn't need to happen that often but would be a good extra random encounter!
YES! I was looking forward to the next video!
Ah hope it was worth the wait :P
LOL, the Monkey Island Tavern music in the background. I knew this was coming
That music is so good. I can't help but put that in :P
"Where am I? Oh, I'm here. Okay, next number. Oh wow. Where am I? Alright cool. Next number. Where am..."
I like to think Henry had some PTO saved up and decided to do some traveling.
Thus he grabbed a map and a bag full of booze and decided to see the Bohemia countryside, all the good and bad.
Henry survived. His liver not so much.
Poor Henry's body. I am certain that he will live a very long life because his body is now preserved in ethanol ;)

Quite hungry from the last time I talked to him ;)
Love the Monkey Island music in the background. Was wondering why I was suddenly happen before I noticed the music lol
The Monkey Island music is always a gem. I have to hold back using it on other videos :P
Finally! Hardcore Henry is at it again.
Ah, hardcore Henry is coming...sooon :P
I thibk the first time i experienced Henry blacking out i ended up next to bandits, and died.
Oh god! That is just mean. I never had that happen before, but that would be something for a surprise for everyone, Henry, bandits and yourself included.
11:06, i appreciate the homm2 grass theme
Same if you bring down sleep all the way too, he just sort of becomes the sleep walker of Skaltiz, that is until after you get back to Talmberg, then he just knocks outs.
i was planning on skipping through the video to the end but i watched the whole thing
I had the same worries about when I was editing the video, where I thought I would just skip through as fast as possible.
But I think it helps when I do not linger at any location too long except when there is something interesting.
Just sucks I did not get more of the interesting places :/

I mostly ended up in caves or fields. Sort of boring locations after awhile.
And after blacking out over a 100 times I thought I would've got the witch one :(
But as you said, I have no idea where it is.

I get to the traffic cone (the one everyone knows about) by getting drunk below it. Tried a couple of times and voilá!

I actually never really bothered with blacking out before doing this video, so I learned quite a bit too. Maybe it can be useful, if we can figure out the exact mechanics of the blackout locations it takes you to.

Poor Henry's liver after this. At least the taverns are now flushed with groschen.
It's quite fun doing this on HC without using the empty cage exploit. I was in Rattay then ended up on the edge of the map north of Ushitz. I was like "Oh shit where am I?" No pun intended😂
Next dlc Henry the drunken sailor
It would be fantastic, however I think Bohemia is land locked, so might be a little light on the sailor part and heavy on the drunken part ;)
I wonder if you can break the tutorial with this trick?
unfortunately not.
What happens when Henry gets super drunk in Skalitz he goes blacked out but then opens his eyes again in the same spot. So you just end up being really drunk around Skalitz until you sober up.
I am sure back in 2018 people could've done this :P
Thats it I'm reinstalling this bad boy again!
Got to get Henry rip roaring drunk! :P
God, I wish there was an achievement for drinking Henry to oblivion!
@@helicalgoose I'm starting a new game, gonna absolutely ruin Skalitz before I leave it. The slow slow grind of killing cows hath begun.
This experience would be alot more fun on hardcore mode :)
I actually might try it in hardcore mode, because like you said it would be way more fun. :D
@@helicalgoose Yes, u wouldnt be able to locate urself on the map, unless u knew the places quite well
Now thats kind of fast travel i would liked to know playing hc mode :D
What is song at 15:20?
This my good sir is what I hear every time I close my eyes and by myself.
It is the Ducktales Moon theme.

Enjoy! :D
13:25 😂😂😂
Hannish is probably one of if not the best character in the game.
His voice lines/voice actor just gets all the good spots :P
Hey man - somebody once suggested a challenge run to me on Reddit of beating the whole game while drunk. Have you ever tried doing that? I haven't gotten to it yet as a big problem early on is actually getting access to enough booze to keep the meter from running out, but this video sure reminded me of it.
So, is 1 permanent percent counts? Then I've already done it
@@schwarzesfleisch5809 How did that work? Because thinking about it more, you also can't afford to sleep if you want to keep permanently drunk.
@@limonbattery Is it not possible to take short naps?
@@cdru515 I mean you could but it wouldn't restore much energy. It'd probably be better to just drink cockerels since they restore a nice chunk of energy. They're even alcoholic so you can keep the meter up!
It depends how drunk. I think Schwarzes Fleisch has a point that it is easy to stay the first level drunk, but the 2nd level drunk that could be doable too and I would think that would be more of the challenge.
First level drunk you're still able to run and act "normally"
Second level drunk you can not "run" anymore which is a huge pain.
Helical~super.good video-work. tak ecare~✋
Ah thank you so much :D Glad you enjoyed it!
LOVE THIS GAME
I do really like this game too, mostly because of the depth that got put into this. Heck, before doing this video, I blacked out more in real life, than in this game :P
Lmao i have a hipster Henry
Sometimes I do too. Honestly it is one of the better haircuts for Henry in this game (other than the original).
But if I feel "spicy" I go for the Henry the porn star look. It does make the cut-scene quite a bit more fun ;)
I love creative ways to play games 😂👍🏻
This is one of those games that really lets you be creative and I love it :D
@@helicalgoose Yeah, I totally agree, i love it too!
