Thanks :) I have another video in this series coming out later. I just been super busy in real life. I have it recorded and all just need to edit it down so it is more coherent. :) But I do plan to do it this weekend if I can, please let the chaos in real life end haha.
With max strength, I found that not only can you talk your way out of pretty much anything with the guards, but bullying them actually gives you positive reputation for some reason. I murdered a guard, took off and came back later, and they were harassing me constantly to try and check my bags. I had stolen stuff on me and didn't want to deal with that shit, so I told them to piss off. It slowly repaired my reputation with them, and eventually they stopped bothering me, lol.
Its one of the best feelings to have in the game when the "intimidation" speech check works on the guards and they all just leave you alone as Henry steals everything that isn't nailed down, and oddly like you said everyone starts liking you more for it!
This just brings me back to the days when this game came out! I no-lifed for a week straight. There was a fun bug in Skalitz where the asshole who tries to screw you over in the alley got stuck, so if you kept beating him you could also level up a lot. One hour instead of 10 hours!
@@helicalgoose haha yes! by the way, this video and the other one made me wanna play the game again to try out the exploits you show here, just downloaded it again, awesome videos! :)
Yah, actually if you can get a bow and enough arrows, that seems to be a really simple way to level up your bow skills. Jumping up that platform, Runt can't get to you and you can shoot him until you run out of arrows. The arrows is the only limiting factor. I know a way to sort of get "unlimited arrows", but it takes too much time IMO. But yah, I encourage anyone to try that out :)
Glad you liked it :) I sort of found this on accident to be honest. Now the perfect block thing would be tricky. I think you're forced to learn it to be able to continue on with the story. I do not think you can skip training at the time. :( Without doing the training you can not proceed on with the main story.
When I first arrived in Rattay, the moment they let me free roam i turned heel and set out to explore. Got back at lv12 when I found out about perfect block. The game became a lot easier after that.
Yah, the perfect block is underrated, as well as the dodge function. That is part of the reason why I had a hard time fighting the cumans at the start. I am so use to being able to dodge and block nearly everything.
So, instead of waiting till you start the whole watch part, take out both the wandering guards after your first conversation with Robard, then start the next objective and start attacking the guard that teaches you to wait before he starts talking to you, but do it when you’re alone (obviously). You could go on with the whole exploit from there till you decide to talk to him and continue the mission. Hope this helps, took me a little bit to figure it out😭

if you're full on loot, you can go to the inn there in talmberg, rent a room and store your stuff in the linked chest in the room by the bed. that way you don't lose any groschen or valuables when you go back to skalitz.
Yup. I added in a bunch of my items into the chest at Rattay and renting that room at Talmberg allowed me to hit that stuff up whenever I need it. The rooms for 200 groschen is probably one of the best things anyone can buy in this game. Seems like a steep price at the start but really, it is a great value.
Now that you mention it, it does make me sad too. But truth be told, I only found out that guard was invulnerable just because I knew he was a trigger for the next part to happen. Then I found out he couldn't die, and on top of that, he could not be knocked down, meaning free xp gain. Sooo, I do not feel bad for the man, since he is one of the few non-storied characters who is invulnerable and will survive any war that may come to the land. ;)

Thanks :) I will try to keep improving it as well. And I was thinking of stabbing Runt out of Skailtz, or somewhere he could get stuck at. It is possible to direct him, but there is not a location I know that I could "break" the game. I mean I could put him in the river where he couldn't get out, but it is not that fun, not like if I dropped him off a cliff or hole that normally instant kills people. I did find that in certain ways you can "launch" npcs up trees or other objects. Mostly this needs to be ultra precise to avoid killing them, or make sure they are invulnerable and you're allowed to attack them. But it leads to nothing "fun" IMO that I can think of. I still got to scan through the rest of the game so we shall see :)

When you return back to Skalitz, there is a big farm on the south of the city, somewhere behind Teresa's house, used as a camp by a band of bandits. That's the biggest group of enemies u can find back there ;)
You know, I will have to check. I never actually go back to there because I just assumed that nothing is to be there but maybe a watermelon or whatever.
@@helicalgoose As far as i remind, there were some plate/mail armoured bandits, it's the farm surrounded by a perimetral wall. The entrance is a tiny bridge.
Apparently Runt is only immune to Henry, I managed to softlock the game by having one of his buddies accidentally kill him for me during one of my shenanigans.
OOOOOooo that is a good point! I will have to dig up an old file and give it a try again sometime. Thanks for the tip and pointer there! I am assuming the game just went to cut scene right away after that, but it would be worth doing anyways :P
It is like the developers planned for the possibility that players would attack/kill main characters if given the chance. I mean I thought I might of been able to, since she is sort of a side character if anything? Eh, I will let her live I guess...
Yes, you can pass time until the early morning when the "attack" is suppose to happen. After the "attack" comes to Talmberg, time magically freezes once again. You can escape this part using beef jumping, but the quests do not progress any further until you go back to that spot that they want you to go.
I am glad there are so many KCD fans. :) I will have more coming out. I just need a batch of free time to make the next one. I like to do something unusual which may take a bit more time to record.
I got beaten by this guy the first time in the second fight against him over and over (I wasn't training at all and had no combos). Was so frustrated, that I simply pulled my bow, one shot him in the head, gues what, no helmet ended the fight in 2 seconds with me overly shocked and satisfied at the same time.
Strangely enough it does make you murder in Rattay too :( Some of the citizens of Skalitz moves to Rattay and the game counts them as a citizen, so if they report a crime or see a crime I believe they report it Rattay if you have not settled the crimes in Skalitz already. It is very strange. They should not be allowed to report a crime in a different city if they are dead already :P
@@helicalgoose probably your thoughts about Skalitz emigrants make sense. Despite of brutal slaughter in Skalitz I did not make crimes, because without guards any violent actions affect reputation only. Even Kunesh don't want to talk with me, but at the same time reputation with refugees is(was) quite good. This game isn't designed for this style of playing, so some things become very strange and illogical after all "unconventional" actions.
I was planning on checking her out later on as another part of the series. But, if Zbyshek came back from the dead, then I am certain she back alive too. Which means...that there is a Necromancer around there bringing people back to life! There is the Necronomicon book already in the game, so this could be cannon.
Not this part, not really. These videos are basically the tutorial areas which most people can get through in the first few hours. I hope it does not spoil too much but its something rather early in the game :)
Also, it would've been fitting since Henry just wiped out most of Skalitz :P I just do not like the face mask effects when in combat. I like seeing. But the rest of the armor I should've looted.
I need to go bk to kcd I hit level 18 in skalliz by killing all sheep and maxed lockpick and many other skills I may wait until I know kcd2 release date before I get bk into it started my kcd save 2018 so for at the miller's house
KCD2 might be awhile, maybe announced for next year or the following year? There seems to be lots of talk of something going on, but I am always for the camp of "The game does not exist until it has been officially announced." I am still sort of waiting on HL3 or whatever it will be called :P
Oh and heads up on a quick way to have him kill you there? Deplete your stamina by swinging your weapon or running then it's easier for him to kill you.
Hmm, I am not certain about that. I believe in this video I did head cracker him and he did not go down. I do not think you can loot him just because I would've taken his giant stick :( It might of been true in earlier patches, but this one from a few months ago, it does not look possible.
@@helicalgoose I meant the headcracker and loot him when you are supposed to kill him later in the game, not the bit where he essentially has toggle God mode. As part of the console commands you can get all items. That weapon Runt has, you can't wield it. It's too heavy so it just sits in the inventory :D
Honestly, I did not want to beat up that guard, he was actually nice to Henry. Now if this was Captain Bernard, well I would've setup a macro for him ;)
Yah, I think the clones in Skalitz have a 2-way connection with their clones in Rattay, who immediately call the guards on you when you kill their clone. This is the only thing I can think of that is possible. Sort of shocking at first, like a crime? I just arrived! What crime!
You know, I am not a smart man. :P But honestly when I have played this game before like three times through, I never commited (or got caught for a crime). So I never actually went to jail. Now that I have done so many videos where everything I do is crime, I am quite familiar with the Bohemia's justice system.
@@helicalgoose I actually always kill all the guards in Sasau or Ledechko, after I killed them all I loot everything, bring it to my personal box sleep and turn myself in. After the 10 days, Which is max jail time, most of the items from the guards are not stolen anymore so it's an easy way to make money as soon as you get perfect block from bernard.
There are a couple ways, depending on how far you're in the story line? My main hint that if you have the DLCs already, there quite a few NPCs who retain the "immortal" status, but you can keep punching endlessly, you just got to get them out of town maybe pay off the guards and take a reputation hit, but there are a couple them. It really depends what level you're at this point. The safest way, is to train with captain Bernard, especially for that defense skill.
I played the game through without cheating, stupid cowbeating leveling, no innocent killings, no stealing and I avoid all quests with some dubios content. Break that :o) because the honest way its the hardest in my opinion. No cheesiness, only honor and be a true Knight. Yeah yeah i know, your series is trying to break the regular game.
Yup. I think the first couple times I played this game was a straight arrow. The game is at its best then. :) No cheese needed. And the dubios content that I can think of immediately is mostly the thieves quests (Millers). I have an idea how to ruin some of them. I will take some time to research that :)
I want to say I swiped it off a villager. It was a very long time since I made this video. I either murder everyone in Skalitz than came to Talmberg or I knocked out a solo person and stole their stuff.
There is a mod for it, but you can also put it into your command line if you're playing on PC. I because for PC it is wh_pl_showfirecursor 1 I believe it is not possible for consoles to get it :(
I fully broke it and can't progress after leveling up everything lol killed the guards I need to talk to, to get the cross guard I can't find a fix at all and I am not starting from level one again. Playing on ps4
Did the crossguard despawn already? It will be on one of the guard's body. (The one near the castle) As long as you get to it before he despawn you can get the crossguard. Other than that, then you will need to escape Skaltiz tutorial area then head over to Rattay to pick it up, which is not an option I would favor, that is a long journey.
Okay that’s cool but is there any way to remove amount of civilians killed in statistics cause… I sorta… killed a guard while trying to help them and decided there probably doesn’t need to be witnesses? It was 4 gaurds. Please, it was going so well!!! Lol
Ah the jail in Talmberg is not that bad, they actually just let you out instantly. The bad part is that they take all your stuff you probably stolen, but if you stashed it, you should be fine :D
Okay, I found this to be really stupid ... Isn't it really hackable? I noticed that there is also a command line .. it still asks, can you cey the command line save game? Continue the adventurous charging of the world. BTW, I'm also programming a medieval game .. I have to think seriously so that something like this doesn't happen. XD
Hmm I am not certain. My programing skills are quite low. The only thing I use the command line for is to bring back the little dot for archery. I think you might be able to save the game with the command line too. Now from I understand you would have to mod the game to be able to spawn characters or have sort of the Skyrim command line power to abuse the game. But again, it something I have not messed with quite yet. I am probably the wrong person to ask on this. :(
Yup :) I always get caught up saying the most common American names with "B" not the true one whenever I am recording. I sort of knew his name, but was like Bernard? Ummm Bernie?
I try to respond as much as I can, just on the weekends I try to spend most of the time trying to edit some new videos :P Just any question about the game and I can usually get back to you unless things go bananas then maybe it will take a few days.
You know I would do it, but the problem is that there are a couple invulnerable people that live around there. The slaughter would end real quickly when you have a person chasing you that is decent at fighting at the same time you can't attack back. :(
I agree. Honestly, if you're playing this for the first time, do not do this type of stuff. This type of video is really for fans of the game that played it a time or two. But really, now that I know a few ways to abuse the game, it is sort of hard not to do them.
@@helicalgoose Really? I've done 4 playthroughs, one in hardcore all neg perks with hundreds of hours poured into this game and I try to make the smallest main stat increases as possible throughout each playthrough. It's too easy to make the game unplayably easy- even in hardcore all neg perks. If you spend too much time training with bernard, you'll find yourself accidentally one shotting runt. The only time when I embrace the tankiness of having maxed stats is at the end of a playthrough where there is nothing else to do but to go around demolishing bandits at skalitz and hording a million groschen. Just my two cents though. To each their own.
@@TheSuperAnarchy I actually do not blame you on that first boss fight. Especially if the attack on the village damaged you a ton before that fight and you didn't have a chance to heal up, you could be going into that fight with a crippled limb and half a health bar :P That first fight for the village is honestly the toughest fight of the game. Nice set piece too! If only I did not have to pray each time there was a cut scene for my PC not to crash :P
@@alvercaine8893 Oooh, that does sound like fun. I wonder if that weapon is some sort of god weapon one hit wonder, or is a joke weapon sort of a like a rubber mallet :P
I think the game is too scripted for it to be broken. It wants to tell a story more than have the player craft their own (for example, killing everybody in skalitz didn’t actually make them dead, and you couldn’t kill the bandit man even though you had basically beaten him 100 times over)
Ah for certain. There are very few quests that you can sequence break or play around scenario that they are trying to craft. Like you can ride the cuman horses that are program to circle Skalitz. And they teleport you through walls. But you can not change the story whatever you do. Being a good Henry or a bad Henry. I am not certain how I feel about that option, but I think it is for the better. Especially since this is basically a kickstarter project from what I understand. So I try not to be to critical on studios that had limited resources.
@@Breaded_Squirrel Haha, I am glad that the series is enjoyable. If you go the newer videos and you hear my voice change, it is due to me getting a new mic, so do not be too alarmed :P
I hope you can fix that sometime. KCD is a great game. Bernard training is OP for certain. The downside is that once you get to a certain level you start beating the snot out of him way too fast. You can escape this part using beef jumping, but the quests do not progress any further until you go back to that spot that they want you to go.

I am glad there are so many KCD fans. :) I will have more coming out. I just need a batch of free time to make the next one. I like to do something unusual which may take a bit more time to record.
@@helicalgoose KCD for me is one of the best RPG ever released :)
Come. The King is a Dom.
Sometimes the bow head shots does magic. :) Always when that happens I usually put another arrow in them just to make sure that person stays down.
21:03 This is about Talmberg probably. At least my genocide in Skalitz had not made me perpetrator in Rattay.
Strangely enough it does make you murder in Rattay too :(
Some of the citizens of Skalitz moves to Rattay and the game counts them as a citizen, so if they report a crime or see a crime I believe they report it Rattay if you have not settled the crimes in Skalitz already.
20 strength 3 speech Henry - Im not much a type of talker, ya know? xD
With that speech skill I am surprised that Henry was even able to talk to Bianca at all.
Maybe the boozed helped him a bit ;)
Could you look at Johnaka if shes in Sasau and how the Womans lot DLC works if shes dead?
I was planning on checking her out later on as another part of the series. But, if Zbyshek came back from the dead, then I am certain she back alive too. Which means...that there is a Necromancer around there bringing people back to life! There is the Necronomicon book already in the game, so this could be cannon.
She 100% comes back. I killed her too in my playthrough and she was right there in sasau
I like ya videos bro very entertaining 💯
Ah many thanks :D
These older videos are nice, but if you go to the newer ones hopefully you do not get whiplash from the change in my voice :P
I hope I'm not gonna spoil myself any plot points of the story watching this series, I'm just doing secondary missions xD
Not this part, not really. These videos are basically the tutorial areas which most people can get through in the first few hours.
I hope it does not spoil too much but its something rather early in the game :)
Dude, you're starting to scare the shit out of me ;)
I am certain I have two FBI agents watching me instead of the one that everyone gets :P
Damn! This guy must be swiss cheese after that...
With how much he got poked, I am surprised that he is any type of cheese! There shouldn't be anything left. ;)
you shouuldve taken the cuman captain armor because its pretty good
Also, it would've been fitting since Henry just wiped out most of Skalitz :P I just do not like the face mask effects when in combat.
There seems to be lots of talk of something going on, but I am always for the camp of "The game does not exist until it has been officially announced."
I am still sort of waiting on HL3 or whatever it will be called :P
Yeah, with Runt you can headcracker him when you are supposed to kill him... and loot his body then he gets back up and tries fisticuffs :D
Oh and heads up on a quick way to have him kill you there? Deplete your stamina by swinging your weapon or running then it's easier for him to kill you.
The 10 days in jail is not a long time obviously but waiting for the screen to roll those 10 days... well, good time to go get a coffee or something.
Hmm, I am not certain about that. I believe in this video I did head cracker him and he did not go down. I do not think you can loot him just because I would've taken his giant stick :(
It might of been true in earlier patches, but this one from a few months ago, it does not look possible.
Yup. I was just being dumb there. Usually that guy wrecks me in two to three hits even at full stamina. This was quite the change.
@@helicalgoose I meant the headcracker and loot him when you are supposed to kill him later in the game, not the bit where he essentially has toggle God mode. As part of the console commands you can get all items. That weapon Runt has, you can't wield it. It's too heavy so it just sits in the inventory :D
Torture Guards: Deliverance
Honestly, I did not want to beat up that guard, he was actually nice to Henry.
Now if this was Captain Bernard, well I would've setup a macro for him ;)
I also got immediately arrested for murder in Rattay after killing all of Skalitz so I guess it carries over for some reason. Lol.
Yah, I think the clones in Skalitz have a 2-way connection with their clones in Rattay, who immediately call the guards on you when you kill their clone.
This is the only thing I can think of that is possible.
Sort of shocking at first, like a crime? I just arrived! What crime!
How do you not know trivial things like max jail time but all the juicy exploiting?
You know, I am not a smart man. :P
But honestly when I have played this game before like three times through, I never commited (or got caught for a crime).
How do I max after getting to ratti
Where do you get a dagger so early?
I want to say I swiped it off a villager. It was a very long time since I made this video.
I either murder everyone in Skalitz than came to Talmberg or I knocked out a solo person and stole their stuff.
did you mod it so you got that cursor when firing bows?
There is a mod for it, but you can also put it into your command line if you're playing on PC.
I because for PC it is wh_pl_showfirecursor 1
I believe it is not possible for consoles to get it :(
Remember folks, punch those cows and smack those sheep for lots of XP.
It is a valid strategy while playing this game to be honest.
Why fight bandits when you can punch cows!
@@helicalgoose Hell yeah it is. I believe all the animals in Skalitz respawn as well, makes for easy pickings.
I fully broke it and can't progress after leveling up everything lol killed the guards I need to talk to, to get the cross guard
I can't find a fix at all and I am not starting from level one again. Playing on ps4
Did the crossguard despawn already?
It will be on one of the guard's body. (The one near the castle)
As long as you get to it before he despawn you can get the crossguard.
If I reach level 20 with strengh will the game become easier? 😢 The combat is quite hard on console. Sadly...
How do you keep the yellow dot with your bow?
Console command
@@schwarzesfleisch5809 what is it?

London POV
It was "Beran's wife", not "Bernard's wife" :-)
Yup :)
I always get caught up saying the most common American names with "B" not the true one whenever I am recording. I sort of knew his name, but was like Bernard? Ummm Bernie?
you are awesome
No, you're awesome! *points finger at Brain Torres*
Did they patched already ?
Nope.
All these exploits I have posted in the last year or a bit older all are still working. Haven't seen an update on steam for a long time.
@@helicalgoose well you look at that I thought you will never respond thanks by the way
I try to respond as much as I can, just on the weekends I try to spend most of the time trying to edit some new videos :P
Just any question about the game and I can usually get back to you unless things go bananas then maybe it will take a few days.
@@helicalgoose now that is what you call a good RUclipsr
Sad you didn't wipe out the people in the castle :(
You know I would do it, but the problem is that there are a couple invulnerable people that live around there. The slaughter would end real quickly when you have a person chasing you that is decent at fighting at the same time you can't attack back. :(
I appreciate the fact that you can do this but man, this would destroy the game for you.
It would be awesome if you could kill Runt and they actually just rolled credits and said “u weren’t supposed to do that u little shit”
That would be a great Easter egg :P
Beating runt without any exploits or farming skill is a tough fight.
I honestly do not think I could do it!
@@helicalgoose I actually got stuck hardcore on Runt because I didn’t prepare well enough
@@TheSuperAnarchy I actually do not blame you on that first boss fight.
Especially if the attack on the village damaged you a ton before that fight and you didn't have a chance to heal up, you could be going into that fight with a crippled limb and half a health bar :P
That first fight for the village is honestly the toughest fight of the game.
Nice set piece too! If only I did not have to pray each time there was a cut scene for my PC not to crash :P
if you up mace enough with the bonk perk, and change à text file, you can make him drop his mace...wich is a bugged 1 handed thing
@@helicalgoose The series is funny anyway, so I will keep watching
@@Breaded_Squirrel Haha, I am glad that the series is enjoyable.
If you go the newer videos and you hear my voice change, it is due to me getting a new mic, so do not be too alarmed :P
9:30 he cares about rep lmao
Haha, it is strange thing to worry about when I am playing Henry the psychopath.
If my game didn't crash every time i enter the forest because of small ram best way to get op is to train with Bernard until all is 20
I hope you can fix that sometime. KCD is a great game. Bernard training is OP for certain. The downside is that once you get to a certain level you start beating the snot out of him way too fast. You need someone to sort of stand still and not have to go through the conversation options every time you want to train :(
Helical Oi
he is invincible. That guy in a big fight
Yup. Any way to get to max stats, go for the invincible boys.
Calling game characters kids and kiddos so weird lol
Ah its a habit that I picked up from one of my friends long ago. Trying to bust out of it long ago since I have been calling people 5 years younger than me kiddos still and they're able to drink :P
stop stabbing him
Can't, he's worth 5-10 xp per a stab! Plus he won't die, no idea why he gets to be the true immortal of the land. :P
