You will see it in the next couple videos maybe (depends on how I edit it), but witness me going "where the hell am I, there is shrine here, is it this shrine on the map or that shrine" Crap back to Neuof! :P
mm it can be immersive knowing how to get around based on your surroundings but i spent like 80% of my hardcore playthrough just being lost lol but it makes combat so much better so i recommend the mod that brings back the UI but keeps the combat difficulty
@@azell2913 Very true, the mod could work out pretty well. There is a nice trick without the mod to sort of give yourself a marker. If you do the hunter quest for capturing the Nightengales, the little cages you drop leaves a marker on the map that you can pick up again and drop anytime. The down side, it costs like 2 weight to carry it.
@@helicalgoosethats super helpful, thank you for this tip!!! I used a mod that allows you to see your character on the map but i hated that it showed which way i was facing cause it killed the immersion
You just murdering all of the villagers is the funniest shit ever. I imagine those guys arrive to burn down the village and they just see Henry surrounded by corpses and just immediatly run away.
From my experience, Shakes is actually a buff to lockpicking. The shaking makes your cursor occasionally jump to the correct position which resets the timer after which your lockpick breaks.
That is interesting. Honestly, even with the shakes or without the shakes I never really had trouble with lockpicking. Honestly, I have not tried archery, even four episodes deep, so not sure if the negative perk is broken?
@@nigailemon You need to feel the center of the screen, this requires player skill rather than character skill. I was grinding money on hardest difficulty on shooting range right away with the worst bow and 0 bow level But I've passed 1.2h so just "practice" 😂
Honestly I thought it was going to be annoying to deal with no fast travel, but really the changes are not too bad. It actually gives the game a slightly different coat of paint that makes the game a bit different. Not too much tougher, but sort of makes myself at least think more creatively about solutions to a new problems.
Like H said the changes are not much more difficult than before but waking up in random places then having to wait 2 hours to get rid of debuff and not knowing how much stamina or hp you have does take some getting used to but it definitely feels rewarding if you enjoy this game. Good luck on your mission Sir!
you definitely should specially if you really feel to play it as you have one life, you playing style will change, but pay attention to save frequently, the worst perks are the one that make you randomly woke up in another place, and nightmare, and the one that makes everything expensive, honestly it's hard to make money with honest work and without exploit, and one tip it's suicide to run from skalitz with low vitality, but try to don't make the game boring by grinding too much, it's a long game and it's better to just go with the flow of the game, learn every thing through the whole game, good luck
I'm not ashamed but I do wish I had chosen Hardcore before investing 20 hours into the regular mode and I don't feel like going back to being a scrub too soon. (edit) actually it turns out it was 55.5 hours in the last week, damn
This is the first video I watched from you. Instant follow. I LOVE this game, it actually bumped Fallout NV from the "favourite game of all time" pedestal! This game is a testament to the fact that when a dev team truly loves a project and really want to make a fantastic experience, it shows all the way. I have over 300 hours in this game, over 80+ in my HC playthrough. It has way too little love, thanks for making content!
Haha thanks, glad you're joining along the train! But to overthrow fallout New Vegas is a tall order! That game is great and so is this one. I really can not say which game is better since they are far different from each other, but other share space in my brain as being pretty darn good :D
Honestly I'm kind of mad my first experience with Kingdom come wasn't hardcore, it feels like exploration and random encounters are more impactful when you cant just immediately know where you are. Playing the game for the first time, without the map, and taking somnambulant seems like it would be so much fun.
Maybe...I keep thinking about that. I think the problem with playing this on the first time hardcore mode, is that I took everything way too seriously and was too afraid to do anything. On hardcore mode, I would've probably ended up picking flowers for 40 hours straight and never gone to Neuhof. I will have to say that even on normal mode the first time I was a bit worried to go into the forests, which I guess speaks some volumes about the game's environment, or either how much a coward I was before ;)
@@republikadugave420 lol that is a 100% true. Really, you have to hold yourself back from using those exploits otherwise the game becomes too easy. I might have to do a play through with some additional handicaps to make it tougher.
I´m currently doing that - and on the hunting trip with Hans Capon I went to bed in the camp, then woke up near Uschitz (without knowing where it was on the map and how far I´d sleepwalked, while it was still pitch dark outside, that was fun making it back in time for Hans Capon to wake without having the slightest idea where to go. Also I got ambushed by two Cumans on my fifth try. Lovely stuff, but know that I become more familiar with the game it´s an incredibly immersive experience.
I'm currently doing a first playthru and let me say that the game's just frustrating. Combat's extra hard because i barely know how it works; navigating around the world is difficult, time consuming, and also frustrating; not to mention being teleported around while sleeping.
For certain! I have certain roads that I know all the way. The hard part I can see would be on the North western side of the map, where there are few landmarks and tons of trees. All I can hope for is finding the river and following it back :P Honestly, I am seeing quite a bit of the game that I do not normally see :D
Well few times of my night travelling end up in the other way i was going to and spending a lot of time going back , then i decided to not travel at night again
@@MK-9010 The night time in this game is actually kind of creepy. Without a night hawk potion and just a torch in the middle of a dark forest. I feel like something is going to come after me. Even though I know nothing is going to stop tank Henry, it that unsettling feeling. Traveling at night, not on a road is a no no :P
@@helicalgoose yeah , actually i wasn't expected that nighthawk really useful and never you it in myself i just use it on the weapons ^_^ but after see the different I start make a lot of it too
For a while all I would play is hardcore kcd. Honestly my favorite game in the whole world. The only hard part of hardcore is not being able to see yourself on the map. Can get very frustrating in the middle of the woods but it is still phenomenal and I feel like it's how the game is supposed to be played
I will show something later on, that will make hardcore map problems well, less painful ;) But I am sort of liking hardcore mode. It is growing on me. :D
There is actually kind of a hack for that - when in Rattay, you go to a hunter and accept a side quest for bird catching, then the hunter will give you three cages to catch birds into. When you mark that side quest and drop one of the cages, it actually shows on the map where you dropped it, therefore where you are. I used it few times when I was running away from cumans through the woods and got lost or when I woke up in totally random place I didn't recognize 😂
I already watched this series but now I'm watching it again because I'm about to start hardcore snd this is the most entertaining series, I love your videos and commentary
I spent like a week trying to get through run without dying from bleeding or grinding thick blooded and saw your video I’m now part of the Rattay guard, thanks! This is my first attempt at all negative hardcore Henry btw
I really like hardcore mode, the features are awesome, I think it makes the story and any events or quests more impactful, during my normal mode run I’ve always liked to ride to places myself rather than fast travelling so that wasn’t much of a problem, the other things scared me but your videos motivated me to try it
Ah I am glad :D I think I saw your post on reddit perhaps? I was just scrolling on my phone at work, but could not reply. But that intro run on hardcore with all negative perks is absurd at times. If the cumans are finding their mark and you have no armor on, Henry is just going to die. You can always chug a marigold potion, but those cumans can hit pretty hard so its a little luck to get through that, oooorrr we can just skip all that noise and just enjoy the scenery ;)
But do enjoy the hardcore mode :D Honestly once you get past a little hesitation about fast travel, it starts to become pretty good and you start to learn the lay of the land real quickly. The one DLC I would avoid on hardcore is the "From the ashes" because there is soooo much across the map traveling, and without fast travel its a draggg :(
To anyone attempting this challenge and planning a similarly destructive route through Skalitz; don’t execute the villagers you choke out. Once you get through the intro dialogue pick herbs until your encumbered. At this point save the game and head for the cows. Don’t attack the cows it’s too dangerous. Once a villager comes by choke them out. Once they’re unconscious pick them up and head for as secluded an area as you can get. At this point because your encumbered and carrying someone your likely to run out of stamina dropping them. This will wake them instantly and they will have no idea you previously KO’d them. Choke them out again as soon as they turn their back and rinse and repeat. Eventually the victim will expire at which point you should allocate a dumping location that will never be seen by anyone except you. Choke your victims in a secluded space and then once they’ve expired carry them to a second secluded space - the dumping spot. This means your active victims won’t wake up and see your past victims which will trigger the guards. Once your stealth and strength have risen enough you can either start widening your net to include guards or do the Johanka glitch to ensure your strength will be high enough to choke or even outright fight the guards. I never mess with the cows because they’re unhinged, all that mooing then bam horn through the lung critical hit game over. You do end up choking the same person 5 or more times before they expire so this can take a while, but if you choose your spots carefully it’s unbelievably easy. Unlike navigating through forests with no markers and Henry made of glass.
Yup that is a different way to go about it and if its easier for you all, then I would suggest trying what LCpl suggested. Cows can be dangerous, especially full negative perks. One bad wound and you could go down. The only thing I will say, that on the PC version, (I am 90% certain) most NPCs if they have not rested properly only have a one knocked out in them. If you try knocking them out again when they get up, it just kills them (does that funky animation where it looks like Henry is chocking air and person expires). Otherwise that would be a fantastic way to build up stealth by having three villagers side by side in the back and knocking them out in rotation. Its been awhile since I have been back there so that is why I put on 90% certainty on that. The rules on consoles and PC versions are slightly different, so that might be whats happening. I am curious if that might be the case. Either way is possible for mass leveling up in Skaltiz :D
@@helicalgoose It’s a good point you raise. It could be the rest mechanic that governs it. I’m just sure there are a few villagers who have gone far beyond 2 chokes in a row for me. I’m also on console. They definitely have a funny animation when they do expire.
in this universe the cumans were actually trying to save the village from the mass murderer henry. sadly the killing had already started and in their attempt for getting henry they had to knock everyone out since they didn´t know what henry looked like..... too bad for the world henry managed to escape and take on a new identity as a retainer of sir radzig
I am glad! Honestly I would like to redo this episode a bit because the sounds are a bit off on volume and timing, but later on I sort of chip away at them ;)
Ah many thanks! That means a lot to me. Hopefully you enjoy the madness of this series ;) It was really fun to make and to watch back and question my own sanity!
@@helicalgoose You disregard the original story and rules and make up your own story. Im getting sick of many RUclipsrs that just play and slap in raw gameplay footage as if this is Twitch and as If Im not working and have 38 hours of free time per day. I have edited videos before so I know how much effort you put in cutting raw footage and editing it, you can only do it if you love what you are doing. Im on part 10 on these series and I have yet to encounter a boring video, time really flies by fast when Im watching you and I cant wait to see what the future holds for you.
@@simearsov Ah thanks, that really does mean a lot. Mostly I made these videos with that thought in mind that people are busy and don't have time to watch 40+ hours of a game they already played. Rather do something different and make my own story out of the game. Hopefully the rest of the series will be just as enjoyable or better :D Thanks again for letting me know. People enjoying this sort of thing makes all the effort into the video feels worth it.
I feel like this is the 1403 version of Attack on Titan. The walls were suppose to keep Henry in, but now the walls are broken, and Henry is on the loose to the horror of 1403 Bohemia.
Glad you're enjoying it so far :D Already have the second video out, hopefully the third by next week. But after that I might have to make a delay for a week, these things are taking up sooo much time to edit :O
This is the best kingdom come deliverance ytber , specially cus roxy aint posting gameplaying content onit ,and took a rlly low blow at making content for new views , new games stuff and yk I was bored that she couldnt even follow through and complete the hardcore series , which she left at 3 and its been a month already
Ah many thanks, that means a lot. I think I am different since I do not play the story straight but rather delve in the realm of KCD chaos. :D Honestly I admire the speaking skill it takes to make a series like KCD full paththrough and keep talking and keep people interested. I do not think I could do that, not without having long periods of no-talking. Me be able to edit in and sort of make up my own chaotic story inside KCD fits me a bit better and how I talk. Hopefully someday they will jump back on and complete the KCD hardcore playthrough. I am guessing maybe when KCD 2 gets release perhaps? Whenever that happens, can't wait :D
Ah such glory. Been thinking about this game alot recently, and here I stumble upon your channel and you have two newly uploaded videos full of shenanegans. Subbed and awaiting more. Thank you good sir
Haha, glad you enjoyed it, and the next video should be out tomorrow :D And this is always a good game to come back to after a little hiatus. Don't know why but it feels sort of fresh to play again after being away for a year or so :P
my FAVORITE part about hardcore mode... using the sun to navigate least favorite part??? 3 headshots/rabbit. and how fast food spoils to complete the 'feast' quest for the refugees.
I think the sun is the only realiable map marker in the game. At least you get east to west. And the "feast" quest that is crazy. I keep forgetting food spoils faster, but good old booze fixes that problem :P The main problem I have with that quest is that you gain reputation with Skalitz people, but lose it with the Rattay people, which is like wtf man, this is a secret operation. Rattay people are just mad that Skalitz folks are getting some grub. :/
@@helicalgoose you can say it sucks but it dives deep into the heart ov humanity (what a funny named word that is). humans dont want others to be happy. they want to be happy and they want to be happier than their neighbor. when someone helps others we dont feel good we think 'why didn't that guy mow MY lawn for free..." I never had reputation come that much into play in the game and didn't really pay attention to it. it was just numbers on a screen to me. glad you are enjoying one ov my favorite games. i hope they make the next one harder and tweek the combat. you start off with 'oh shit a guy... A GUY!' and by the time you are 1/3 through you are 'meh only two archers, the halberder is slow and the heavy armoured is stuck behind a tree." *pouts* I never get to do my cool special weapon moves except in the ratti tournament. next playthrough go 'saint henry' follow the chrisitan laws to a T, no drinking, no sex, use a blunt weapon. RP like you are from South Carolina
Hopefully its enjoyable enough to re-watch after all this time. So many missed opportunities that I see for jokes :P Though I will say, that I have forgotten at least 20-30% of each episode. Sometimes I wonder what the heck was I doing when I was making each episode.
Amazing. Your Henry is a greater threat to Skalitz than Sigismund himself. Incredible game, I just finished it. I do not think I have a hardcore run in me. Yet.
There is a month left before KCD2 comes out! Honestly, I had a bit of fun with the Hardcore mode even after beating the game about five times over. Really it just changes how you play that makes it more interesting. But, I sort of agree, after a 100+ hour play through its good to have a little break :P If anything, you can always watch Hardcore Henry do his thing, though I will say, since you noticed already, its not a normal play through haha!
Glad you found time to finish this. The game is a beefy one and can take quite some time! Wish I had more time for these things too, but it was quite fun playing it :D
hardcore mode in this game is fucking brutal. For the negative perks I'd say the most forgiving would be the nightmare one and the buckethead one. Navigating the map can be a nightmare but eventually you learn it and feel like you are actually living there and know your way around. For fights you need to become a master of the combat mechanics, however if you learn how to use your horse to cheese the AI then fighting large groups becomes a breeze, just be careful not to get dismounted.
I think the hardest part for me right now is the navigation, yet it seems to be the most enjoyable part too. Mostly because it adds on another layer of challenge onto the game, that I would not normally have with normal mode. I have not gotten into too many fights on hardcore as of yet, so I can not say if it is a world of difference. But with my experience of KCD, anytime you get into a fight with more than one person, you're going to have a bad time unless you start doing some fancy footwork ;)
I am glad you enjoy those sound effects. You know sometimes when I am recording gameplay and I knock someone in the head and do not hear that *Donk* sound effect, I think that my game volume is broken and check it :P
Granted I haven't looked at any videos of this game in a good long time but I have to say having Henry murder all of his neighbors right from the start sure is a novel way of doing things.
I am glad you enjoy those sound effects. You know sometimes when I am recording gameplay and I knock someone in the head and do not hear that Donk sound effect, I think that my game volume is broken and check it :P If KCD was easier to mod, I believe a sound effect package would be greatly appreciated by many people as a goof off option :P
I am curious about the distance that Somambulation takes you. Like if you sleep longer do you have the chance to end up further away? So far, I end up down the road or behind a building. Luckily no where in the middle of the woods, then that would be a problem.
Offh, that is frustrating! I think I got stuck before at the raiding the village, not because it was tough, because the game kept crashing :P With a few prayers and perseverance I was able to conqueror it!
Took me about 60 hours I think trying to do a mini achievement run to get 5 odd ones I was missing including the 2 hardcore ones but to be fair that did include the 'build priby without reading' one so it may have taken me a lot longer than it should while I was trying to do that other stuff. Look forward to seeing hopefully at least half of that time in this series?!?? :D
I think that is one achievement I would never get in that building priby without reading. Reading is one of those little helpful upgrades I like having, especially with alchemy. I know you do not need it for alchemy but it makes life way easier.
IMO, Kingdom Come has one of the best "hardcore" modes I've played At first it was annoying getting lost, but then it gets satisfying being able to go wherever you want without even looking at the map
I do have to state that when I recorded this over the holiday break, I did it over a four day weekend and pumped out 4 episodes worth of recordings. I was really fresh and excited to do this. I am still excited, but now I am sort of trying to play the game for footage, then edit an episode once a week. It is doable, but it gets draining. Honestly the fast travel is not bothering me as much, but later in the game it is sort of making me go a bit hmmm, because now missions are all the way across the map with the back and forth...:P
First time i've played this game, I did it on hardcore with 3 negative perks (as I always play everything on the hardes difficulty). And because I was playing 1 year after the release, I had all the DLC's. Right after the whole intro, I unintentionally started the women's lot DLC with Theresa and honestly, that saved me. Because it works as a great tutorial for the game. And I have to say, it was a lot of fun. Without the map pointer, I had to brush up my map skills, but i had an advantage as I did a lot of orienteering years ago. I can still ride from Rattay to Pribyslavitz in 10 minutes only by memory and I am always surprised when I see someone using the fast travel.
You're a very brave person trying to transverse the KCD map on hardcore mode the first time. Well if you went into the woods at anytime it is like, great I am lost. Got to find a river and head back to civilization or a road. Honestly it is not that bad :P Now I am surprised to hear that the Theresa's Woman's Lot quest actually helped you out. I seen a bunch of newer players lose their head over that quest because it really changes the pace of the game. But on hardcore mode I can see how it helps situate you if you play it early on.
@@helicalgoose With the Woman's lot, you can also try out some things and figure out that they don't work for you. As for the being lost in the forest, that doesn't happen to me. As I wrote, I did a lot of Orienteering IRL and being alone in a forest with just a map is something I am used to.
@@mrkv4k A person after my own heart. :P I use to go out in the middle of nowhere, but usually I had GPS satellite phone which help keep track where I was at. If I had no little general idea I would been a sad person trying to use a map, like I was here...I think :P
While experimenting with killing the bailiff the easiest way, I found that the innermost room of the tavern through two locked doors can hide you from any guards, like I pull out my bow and charge a shot behind a door but where the bailiff can still see me, I can run into the the room after making sure he is following me, then I can stab him to death or shoot him without anyone noticing, he still got through sometimes but I think it was just my attack pushing him through the doorway. Side note the guards seem to see you and will run toward the doorway if I shoot people out the windows, but they don’t actually notice you until you attack them, but they still can’t get in the room
Thanks for the tip! I will give this a try in the sometime near future (maybe a couple months with how much schedule is going for the series) But this could be put to use for a special situation ;)
@@helicalgoose tad late, but if you kill all the guards, you can leave a corpse in the open and when found the bailiff will investigate and thus a easy kill and good equipment
It is not that bad to be honest. But as Schwarzes Fleisch was saying, the fights say something different. If the enemy so much sneezes on you, then Henry gets injured :P
@@sir313jonsson You are not wrong! I have been cheesing this game so hard, I have been knocking the parking breaks off it. It would be much harder if I did not abuse the mechanics of the game. I might do another play through later on that will be much harder and will probably restrict much of the "cheesing" mechanics. First I just need to get through hardcore mode, never played it before lol
Haha, I am glad! Make it happen! Hardcore full negative run was actually quite fun. It added a slight challenge to the game or made me think a little bit again :P
I'm a little bit upset that this popped up randomly 9 days late. I absolutely love this game. I still have my hardcore playthrough not finished. I feel like finishing it.
Offhh, well this is a smaller channel, so I do not think RUclips puts it on a high priority for people to watch ;) But hopefully it was worth your time.
Here is a tip to level speech. Not sure if you know, but when you go to burry your parents, if you get caught by guards, you can speech persuade them to let you go for a min. This gives speech exp, and if you go with them next time they catch you, you can persuade again next time. It is repeatable. Just run away, convince guard, and go back with them, run away again. Repeat.
@@helicalgoose I was too excited when i discovered this potential exploit :P So i posted twice! Love the vids mate! Doing a playthrough myself, where ive stepped in your footsteps so to speak. You make it seem so quick to do in your vids though :P I have to pause your vids to farm etc. Then I can keep up again UwU.
yay!!!!! Ive never played in hardcore either. I should try it with you! I commented before I saw the video. After watching I am so pleased at how methodical you are in killing everyone in skalitz. The sights the sounds, pure bliss.
lol, I am almost worried about how much I know which NPCs walk around and their pathing habits and when I can put them to "sleep" without getting caught. I think this is the first time I did not have a "crime" indicator doing something like this. But yes, give hardcore mode a try, it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. :D
While I'm fine with the idea of "no fast travel", it can actually be important as a last-ditch method of extricating yourself if you managed to get stuck somewhere. Ah well. Informative and entertaining video as usual :D
You're 100% correct on that. This is partly why I do all those silly blooper KCD videos on normal mode because of time and also how many times I have gotten stuck in areas that if I did not have fast travel, I would have to reload way back :P
@@mrkv4k Also, I found out that if you get stuck in a sink hole, you can try to wait for 1 hour and it pops you back up on land. Not as fun as trying to fall through the ground, but is another option in getting out of places ;)
I’ve officially watched this series too many times. My friend was listing things they needed and I added “don’t forget about Kuttenberg” I was ashamed of myself. 😞
Many thanks :D Glad you're having a fun watching these videos. I do have to admit that the first 8 hours of editing the video are terrible, nothing is funny and I feel like I should trash it all. The last 4 hours of editing the video is me being a complete idiot and thinking of new ways to be a bigger idiot and this is where the fun happens for me :P
I was about to start an all negatives run and wondered if someone recorded a previous try, but I'll probably just go about it with a bit more realism, not killing the entire village I grew up with 😅
lol, sound like fun. All negative hardcore run is actually not too bad once you get past level 5 then its like normal mode. If you have beaten the game already it is then surprising refreshing to play. Adds a bit more spice to the game :D
It is a good exploit :D Honestly, I only found out because one of the viewers in my comments mentioned it. I sort of stumbled onto something was "wrong" because I was wiping out the village and the guy who is in Johanka's house was not dying. I got him stuck in a bench and I was just farming him for exp non-stop and was like wtf is this guy deal. Then I found out here was part of the whole fist fight and those other people are invincible, until the fight is over. Then everyone can die, even Zbeshek :P
@@helicalgoose thanks, unfortunately it isnt a stable glitch otherwise it would be perfect. Like if u reload a save after u start the fight there is a 50/50 chance it bricks the save. And if it bricks the save once, its permanent. Reload or not. Actually found it accidentally while killing absolutely everyone in skalitz to see who respawns, btw everyone does but the 2 guards who give u the sword crossguard, and just decided to start the fight fully armored with an axe to kill them. Well, turned out they were immortal. Initially i thought it was because i killed all the guards and so they couldnt come over to stop the fight. But, after some testing and help from reddit it was found out only johanka needed to die for it to work. U could also level up vitality extremely quickly in skalitz. Next to henrys house there is a water barrel, or wash basin, whatever, if u drop, from the veranda into the space between the corner of the house and the basin, not it the basin, u can rapidly jump. No animation, nothing. Quickest way to level vitality it the game i have found so far. Have fun in hardcore man, good luck
I really need to try the sheep sometime, everyone keeps saying they are great. Honestly, I get too nervous with Johanka and some of the field workers being too close to the sheep and I fear they're going to squeal on me. I rather not have to commit so many murders so early in the day ;)
I am glad! A regular gameplay of this game has been done so much already. I do not have that sort of voice or pacing to make people want to watch it. I got to pull out the memes and exploits :P
Yah nearly zero hunger that would be tough. Depends on what part of the woods because you might be able to find some mushrooms to keep you going. But that would be tough to deal with for certain. Sounds like a good challenge if there was a way to randomize where you end up but have to get back to town without dying. :P
Ohhh!!! How exciting! 😍 Who better to do this challenge in Hardcore than you!! Your misery will entertain us. Now don’t just stand there! Pour us a drink!! 🍻 Also, the editing for the cutscenes are pure gold.👌
Haha, I do not know who's misery it is going to be, Henry's or the poor villagers again. I mean Henry with the tapeworm negative perk, he is now twice as hungry. Seems like a bad combo ;)
What is also surprising about the early deaths, there are more than I thought. I want to say there are four or five different pre-deaths you can get from that intro screen. Someone on Reddit posted another one recently that I have never seen, so I am not completely certain how many there are. But like you said, it is nice knowing the devs are not afraid to poke a bit at people and not take it completely seriously.
@@Sok-animeNet El modo normal sigue siendo bueno :D No me extendería a menos que estés empezando a sentirte aburrido con el juego. Jugué en modo normal al menos cinco veces antes de probar Hardcore, así que no tengo prisa :D
Man kinda wish the devs would make a magical fantasy rpg. Every time I play this game I can't help but think how hard it is to enjoy older games like oblivion
Honestly, I said it a few times, but this game would do great for a low-fantasy horror game. They nail the atmosphere and night times and the forests with it combined is creepy as hell. But along with magical fantasy RPG they would slay it too. I just wished the modding on this game was more friendly, I think people would've made a ton of crazy options out of it.
Only just got this game, once I beat it normally I might try hardcore mode, but I am absolutely awful at navigating in nearly every game even with markers, so not having a proper map just sounds like absolute hell to me. But who knows, we’ll see. I like the vid btw, your editing improves the videos but it’s not overdone to the point of being annoying or repetitive.
Ah many thanks :D And I honestly thought the lack of fast travel or markers would ruin the game for me, but it did not, but rather add in extra wrinkles into a game I already beaten into the ground so much. I would suggest to beat the game first on normal to get use to the little nit-picks of the game also to know where certain quests or NPCs are at, otherwise the lack of markers until you're right next to them is really annoying. But best of luck with the game, it is quite fun once you get past certain features :P
Thanks, I’ve been getting better, now it’s mostly getting a hang of combos. Hypothetically, if I were to do my first hardcore mode playthrough with all negative perks and beat the game, would I unlock both the achievement to beat it in hardcore mode AND beat it with both perks? I’m on Xbox if it matters. Haven’t been able to find a definitive answer lol
Let"s go! I 100% this game in Hardcore mode with all negative effects! Tip spec into horse speed. If you have fastest horse and best saddle you can go one side of the map to the other if you know the lay of the land in 10 minutes! Also be sure to make lots of savior schnapps!
Oh heck yah, in the next videos you will be proud of me. Trying not to spoil anything, but horses are just OP and I am going for them :P But in Hardcore mode where the horse is the only real viable way to travel, yes please. I just wish I could get a chariot made for Henry and take six horses at once and ride around Bohemia like some Roman Emperor
@@AndrewTheMandrew531 If only! I wish people were able to mod really well for this game, because I am certain that someone could make a chariot viable in this game :P
I can't either! I only have the first four parts done (well recorded not edited). But I can't wait to get more time to keep up with the rest of the play through. My time has been snatched up with trying to edit these videos on time. :P There is stuff I want to do, but also everytime I play this game, something new and unplanned happens and it is just great to catch it on camera. A buggy game sure, but a fun buggy game :P
Well I hoped you enjoyed the first episode. I will say it is a bit rough compared to the later episodes, so much so that once I finish this series I do plan to re-upload the first three or so videos with some improvements if possible and sort of keep the same charm. But hopefully they were still enjoyable :D
I am glad that you're finding them funny. Sometimes I worry that I am chuckling to myself about the silly things I put together. Glad others are on the same plane :P
Damn! That is a a much better title than "Trying to Break Kingdom Come". Broken Kingdom Series instead...bah. Sir, I would like to buy the rights of using that title from you with a like and a little "heart"
Its sort of a cross between the two :P Really, later on you can see how to bug/break the game to high heavens with a bunch of youtube poops/ my own take on the how Kingdom Come should've really gone ;)
I for sure had a lot more fun in hardcore mode than the regular mode. Only problem, the navigating. Makes finding stuff difficult, not impossible, just difficult. I only chose two negative perks because I'm too much of a p*ssy to choose all. I've only put in maybe 100hrs right now but still got a lot to do.
I do not blame you at all with the two perks on hardcore mode. Honestly, I did not start hardcore mode until recently, just because I had in my mind the game would be less fun playing that way. But honestly, it does seem more fun in hardcore mode which sounds strange. The saving, does still get me sometime, but that is not too bad, just so use to having extra save files all around.
I just found out that when you knock guards out at night to get some thievery done but you don't kill them, they will sometimes gang up on you in the middle of the streets for crossing their path even though you're not wanted, is anyone else getting this ?
I get that sometimes too. I want to say this is could be caused by if the guards are starting to wake up before you knock them out, they sort of know who knocked them out. When they see you next time, it is consider a brawl which is why they start chasing after you. This is my best guest why it happens. But I mean, I assume you hit the wrong button and knocked the guards out instead of wiping them out ;)
I did this about a year ago and it was an absolute blast. I think the way you play games it’s gonna be even more fun to watch this. I was on a mission to complete the game as fast as possible to get the achievement. I’ll be curious to see what detours you take.
There are quite a few detours that I could do, but I think for sake of a "normal" play through, I will not utilize them, otherwise I could accidentally start a really slow speed run for the game :P
Haha, I might have to find audio of them both saying similar lines, then overlay our voices over and see if there is a harmony going from low to high :P
Love this game because Henry is genuinely a nobody who you can make into an incredible hero or a maniacal murderer. Or a dumb uneducated baboon who screws up everything he touches. Brilliant RPG.
Honestly it is the voice acting that allows you to be whatever you want. I know that Bethesda in Fallout 4 had voice acting for all your options, but the script and voice acting was leaving a lot to be desired. KCD has a bit more variety. Yes, your choices do not really matter, but I can listen to crazy scripts during this play through and make my own psychopath. :P
@@helicalgoose you’re exactly right. Fallout 4 had a bit more impact from decisions made, but not necessarily from dialogue decisions. If I could make a perfect RPG, it would be a mixture of KCD dialogue/character building, Fallout New Vegas world building, and Fallout 4 exploration depth. I just want a game that looks good, has great story elements, gives players the ability to impact the world based on their choices, and provides an abundance of exploration. Haven’t quite found the perfect balance just yet.
Exactly. Honestly the graphics doesn't matter too much to me, like I do not need to see extra fine hair details on a beard, KCD graphics were good enough and they could just remade the other parts with it. But like you said Fallout New Vegas world building was amazing and the mix of Fallout 4 exploration options was unreal, a mix of those two would be crazy. Sort of wished they would've made Fallout 76 single player and made the story because that place has a ton of exploration options, but the world building was on the cusp of constantly being great but bungled up at the finish line for one reason or another. But I am excited for the future. Warhorse has not gone down the path to "pump out" an immediate sequel, so I am assuming they are taking their time to build the next game with the amount of care they did last time, but even better this time since they probably learned a lot from this release. I doubt we will see it for another couple years, this game was massive and I do not doubt they will make the next one a similar size. Fingers crossed for good things! :D
They changed something. Since now you keep getting chased by cumans on foot. No matter where you go. But i did make it to talmberg. Skipping the dumb horse chase. Since i also have all the negative perks i kept bleeding to death before even reaching halfway
Hmmm, they haven't patched anything to the game other than the speech packs. I done this same trick again in my most recent play through. I am guessing you got a bleeding effect somewhere with the negative perk which is unfortunate. I would try again and see where the bleeding comes from. You shouldn't have any bleeding unless you try to activate that chase scene. Let me know if its still giving you trouble.
@@helicalgoose bleeding came from being shot by the cumans the second my horse ran out of breath and it stopped sprinting. Did it about 5 times. Got shot and bled out before reaching talmberg. So i had to find ur vids cause i remembered you skipping that part. But ive never seen them chase you around. But for me the cumans chased me all the way to talmberg. But then on foot. I kept jumping over bushes to widen the gap between us. Finally found a horse i could steal with no issues and rode into the cutscene where you arrive at talmberg.
Yup :D They are mostly annoying or something to keep in the back of the mind. I think the three worse ones are brittle bones or bleeding issue (These two are tied with each other) and the exp half gain. Nothing you can't get around, but the rest of them are just extra flavor for the game.
Someday I will learn how to mod or hire someone to put in sound effects for KCD so people can play and live the experience themselves :P Also, don't know why but your avatar Kiwi is the best :D
I remember doing this a few years back. Learning the map and how to get around on the horse was a lot of fun.
You will see it in the next couple videos maybe (depends on how I edit it), but witness me going "where the hell am I, there is shrine here, is it this shrine on the map or that shrine" Crap back to Neuof! :P
Unless you get lost in the forrest. Then it is horrible.
mm it can be immersive knowing how to get around based on your surroundings but i spent like 80% of my hardcore playthrough just being lost lol but it makes combat so much better so i recommend the mod that brings back the UI but keeps the combat difficulty
Ur profile pic is pure✡️-ery lmao
Or they invite him to join their cause :D
In that timeline, they are the heroes trying to stop Henry rofl.

@@helicalgoose shooting a rabbit 5m in front of me became a real problem, even with the cursor on
@@nigailemon You need to feel the center of the screen, this requires player skill rather than character skill. I was grinding money on hardest difficulty on shooting range right away with the worst bow and 0 bow level

@@philipsalama8083You saw the flosspick short too, huh?
I'm ashamed to say I've never played this game in hardcore mode either, but you've inspired me to
Honestly I thought it was going to be annoying to deal with no fast travel, but really the changes are not too bad.
@@aminp-wn5fw if i played as if with 1 life I'd be the biggest coward ever lol, I'd avoid all conflict and steal everything 24/7 to make cash
Already played Deus Ex 1?
Good game , great team, not even close to new Vegas haha
Underated channel seriously... your content is always a real treat have a good one Helical !
You're too kind :D
And glad you're enjoying the videos. Hopefully I keep up the quality ;)
I will have to say that even on normal mode the first time I was a bit worried to go into the forests, which I guess speaks some volumes about the game's environment, or either how much a coward I was before ;)
@@helicalgoose yea i think everyone has mad respect for the game at the start but once you figure out exploits than you are a basically God
I enjoyed this a lot. You'll realise that you become a map expert some hours into the game. Looking forward to more videos :)
@@helicalgoose yeah , actually i wasn't expected that nighthawk really useful and never you it in myself i just use it on the weapons ^_^ but after see the different I start make a lot of it too
@@helicalgoose just do the bird cage mission cheese
Of course you have nightmares, your evil deeds must haunt you.
Nightmares? I think Henry dreams about the same thing over again just so he has another chance to do it again ;)
For a while all I would play is hardcore kcd. Honestly my favorite game in the whole world. The only hard part of hardcore is not being able to see yourself on the map. Can get very frustrating in the middle of the woods but it is still phenomenal and I feel like it's how the game is supposed to be played
I will show something later on, that will make hardcore map problems well, less painful ;)
But I am sort of liking hardcore mode.
@@sasamachanovaHoly shit big brain
The teresa's backside commentary reel had me dying😂. Thanks for that
Its a fine one indeed! I do love this game :P
Hate to say goodbye, love to see em walk away
I already watched this series but now I'm watching it again because I'm about to start hardcore snd this is the most entertaining series, I love your videos and commentary
I spent like a week trying to get through run without dying from bleeding or grinding thick blooded and saw your video I’m now part of the Rattay guard, thanks! This is my first attempt at all negative hardcore Henry btw
I really like hardcore mode, the features are awesome, I think it makes the story and any events or quests more impactful, during my normal mode run I’ve always liked to ride to places myself rather than fast travelling so that wasn’t much of a problem, the other things scared me but your videos motivated me to try it
Ah I am glad :D
I think I saw your post on reddit perhaps? I was just scrolling on my phone at work, but could not reply.
But that intro run on hardcore with all negative perks is absurd at times. If the cumans are finding their mark and you have no armor on, Henry is just going to die.
You can always chug a marigold potion, but those cumans can hit pretty hard so its a little luck to get through that, oooorrr we can just skip all that noise and just enjoy the scenery ;)
But do enjoy the hardcore mode :D
Honestly once you get past a little hesitation about fast travel, it starts to become pretty good and you start to learn the lay of the land real quickly.
The one DLC I would avoid on hardcore is the "From the ashes" because there is soooo much across the map traveling, and without fast travel its a draggg :(
Taking the speech buffs at the start means your Henry's body may be weak but his tongue is strong.
Lucky Theresa.
Lucky Henry! Theresa takes anything she wants.
Henry needs that speech to help convince her to let him live first, so he gets to live :P
Only just discovered this channel and its already great, even the small little sfx are good, not too over the top. Good stuff 😎

Mostly I made these videos with that thought in mind that people are busy and don't have time to watch 40+ hours of a game they already played.
Rather do something different and make my own story out of the game.
Hopefully the rest of the series will be just as enjoyable or better :D
Thanks again for letting me know. People enjoying this sort of thing makes all the effort into the video feels worth it.
Here we witness Henry, The Horror of Skalitz, take his first steps towards becoming an infamous mass murderer.
I feel like this is the 1403 version of Attack on Titan.
The walls were suppose to keep Henry in, but now the walls are broken, and Henry is on the loose to the horror of 1403 Bohemia.
I love this series!! Please keep making it
Glad you're enjoying it so far :D
Already have the second video out, hopefully the third by next week.

I think I am different since I do not play the story straight but rather delve in the realm of KCD chaos. :D
Honestly I admire the speaking skill it takes to make a series like KCD full paththrough and keep talking and keep people interested.
Haha, glad you enjoyed it, and the next video should be out tomorrow :D
And this is always a good game to come back to after a little hiatus. Don't know why but it feels sort of fresh to play again after being away for a year or so :P
my FAVORITE part about hardcore mode... using the sun to navigate
least favorite part??? 3 headshots/rabbit. and how fast food spoils to complete the 'feast' quest for the refugees.
I think the sun is the only realiable map marker in the game. At least you get east to west.
And the "feast" quest that is crazy. I keep forgetting food spoils faster, but good old booze fixes that problem :P
The main problem I have with that quest is that you gain reputation with Skalitz people, but lose it with the Rattay people, which is like wtf man, this is a secret operation.
Rattay people are just mad that Skalitz folks are getting some grub. :/
@@helicalgoose you can say it sucks but it dives deep into the heart ov humanity (what a funny named word that is).

Hopefully its enjoyable enough to re-watch after all this time. So many missed opportunities that I see for jokes :P
Though I will say, that I have forgotten at least 20-30% of each episode.
But, I sort of agree, after a 100+ hour play through its good to have a little break :P
If anything, you can always watch Hardcore Henry do his thing, though I will say, since you noticed already, its not a normal play through haha!
Very excited for this series, it can be 20 parts for all I care
I do not know about 20 parts, but I already see it going on for at least 10, not unless I start to really cheese the system and speedrun to the end :P
Played it last year. Took me 3 months to finish it with DLCs. Loved it.
Glad you found time to finish this. The game is a beefy one and can take quite some time!
Wish I had more time for these things too, but it was quite fun playing it :D
So glad I found your channel! Love the videos man!
Glad you're enjoying the videos :D There will be more to come hopefully, working on the next episode right now!
hardcore mode in this game is fucking brutal.
But with my experience of KCD, anytime you get into a fight with more than one person, you're going to have a bad time unless you start doing some fancy footwork ;)
good quality content as usual, those sound effects never fail to crack me up. Keep it up!
Hey, those people were full of XP and Henry needed to level up :P
Also Henry likes to do original things.
"I just went by the tavern and your husband was there forgetting about Kuttenberg."
I love this, if I could remake the voice acting in this game, I would've made a skit of it ;)

This one was longer than usual so hopefully that helped.
I very rarely watch RUclips video twice but this playthrough deserves it
Som-Ambulation. The wonders of sleep walking. Getting lost, and wondering how the hell to get back to Rattay in time for the tourney!
I am curious about the distance that Somambulation takes you. Like if you sleep longer do you have the chance to end up further away?
So far, I end up down the road or behind a building. Luckily no where in the middle of the woods, then that would be a problem.
"You don't understand how it has been". Believe me, I do. I got stuck in Nest of Vipers for some long days.
Offh, that is frustrating!
I think I got stuck before at the raiding the village, not because it was tough, because the game kept crashing :P
With a few prayers and perseverance I was able to conqueror it!
*Don't forget about Kuttenberg*
We will never forget!
IMO, Kingdom Come has one of the best "hardcore" modes I've played
At first it was annoying getting lost, but then it gets satisfying being able to go wherever you want without even looking at the map
Once again i thank RUclips for recommending a channel to me. Keep going! 👍❤
Welcome to the madness! Hopefully the other episodes are just as good :D

It is a great sound effect. :D
I had to stop using it because I was abusing it!
Helical was so merry when he started this series, before the lack of fast travel killed his joy and will to live.
Honestly it is not that bad :P
Now I am surprised to hear that the Theresa's Woman's Lot quest actually helped you out.
I use to go out in the middle of nowhere, but usually I had GPS satellite phone which help keep track where I was at.
I will give this a try in the sometime near future (maybe a couple months with how much schedule is going for the series)
But this could be put to use for a special situation ;)
@@helicalgoose tad late, but if you kill all the guards, you can leave a corpse in the open and when found the bailiff will investigate and thus a easy kill and good equipment
u totally tripped me out with the guttenberg i thought i was tripping or layed something on keyboard and skipped it XD
lol, I hope people never forget about Kuttenberg :P
12:05 so enabling all hardcore traits unlocks a secret Waking Fever Dreams trait
Sort of...but only if you don't forget about Kuttenberg.
I was surprised how easy(compared to what I thought it would be) hard-core mode all negative perks was
First fight with the weakest cuman will show you how easy it is
It is not that bad to be honest.
But as Schwarzes Fleisch was saying, the fights say something different. If the enemy so much sneezes on you, then Henry gets injured :P
Well it would be much harder if he didn't cheese the living crap out of the game
First I just need to get through hardcore mode, never played it before lol
yoooo first time watcher. editing is awesome man!
I am glad you enjoyed it :D
Hopefully I keep getting better at editing. Still got things I can improve so we shall see how this series goes.
Running through my own hardcore run now in preparation for the sequel!
You really inspired me to do a Hardcore run. :D
Great Video!
Offhh, well this is a smaller channel, so I do not think RUclips puts it on a high priority for people to watch ;)
But hopefully it was worth your time.
as always love the editing.
Glad you're enjoying it. :D
Took awhile staring at the screen thinking on how I could cause the most chaos! :P
Repeat.
Yup seen your comment in the other video :D
Thanks for the tip!
I can’t believe I’ve never thought of that pun for this game
If they ever make a sequel for this game, they better call the hardcore mode, "Hardcore Henry" or I will be writing them a very terse tweet :P
The safe passage drinking perk can be helpful for this. Get obliterated and wake up safely in your bed.
just saving and reloading usually works too. And somethimes, you are able to call your horse and get on.
Haha, Henry's madness is slowly creeping into everyone's lives!
The closer you live to Kuttenberg, the less insane it sounds.
Love your stuff man, its always a blast to watch. Have fun making these great videos ❤
Many thanks :D
Glad you're having a fun watching these videos.
The Serial Stitcher strikes again

@@helicalgoose *insert Henry going Jesus Christ*
Im glad u are doing hardcore mate, even glader ur using my exp exploit. Im the dude that found it, the fact even some youtubers know about it is rad
It is a good exploit :D
Honestly, I only found out because one of the viewers in my comments mentioned it.
Theresa saying indeed it is when they were talking about how magnificent her ass is had me in stitches
Haha, I completely forgotten about that!
Its a good one that I had to go back and watch :P
Thanks for reminding me about it!
im still impressed by how henry can kill someone with a clean stomp to the neck
I am impressed or worried more like it, the way and the force Henry uses on his neighbors he grew up with.
He has some pent up rage I am guessing. :P
Great video
I kept killing the sheep to level up my combat skill - but yea my start of the game is same: Killing half of the Village before Cumans even arrived :D
I really need to try the sheep sometime, everyone keeps saying they are great.
Honestly, I get too nervous with Johanka and some of the field workers being too close to the sheep and I fear they're going to squeal on me.
I rather not have to commit so many murders so early in the day ;)
This was more fun than the regular gameplay.
I am glad!
A regular gameplay of this game has been done so much already.
I do not have that sort of voice or pacing to make people want to watch it. I got to pull out the memes and exploits :P
picking somnambulant and waking up somewhere in the middle of the woods with almost zero hunger, no horse and no fastravel, was hardcore enough
Yah nearly zero hunger that would be tough. Depends on what part of the woods because you might be able to find some mushrooms to keep you going.
But that would be tough to deal with for certain. Sounds like a good challenge if there was a way to randomize where you end up but have to get back to town without dying. :P
"Look at that craftsmanship"
It only took her mama 9 months to make it. ;)
Ohhh!!! How exciting! 😍 Who better to do this challenge in Hardcore than you!! Your misery will entertain us. Now don’t just stand there! Pour us a drink!! 🍻
Also, the editing for the cutscenes are pure gold.👌
Haha, I do not know who's misery it is going to be, Henry's or the poor villagers again.
I mean Henry with the tapeworm negative perk, he is now twice as hungry.
Seems like a bad combo ;)
Having two death before even starting the game is hilarious, I like that devs don't take themselves too seriously.

Hopefully you did not need to have that much sleep for today ;)
Ah many thanks :D
And I honestly thought the lack of fast travel or markers would ruin the game for me, but it did not, but rather add in extra wrinkles into a game I already beaten into the ground so much.
Trying not to spoil anything, but horses are just OP and I am going for them :P
But in Hardcore mode where the horse is the only real viable way to travel, yes please.
I just wish I could get a chariot made for Henry and take six horses at once and ride around Bohemia like some Roman Emperor

I can't either! I only have the first four parts done (well recorded not edited).
But I can't wait to get more time to keep up with the rest of the play through. My time has been snatched up with trying to edit these videos on time. :P

Really, later on you can see how to bug/break the game to high heavens with a bunch of youtube poops/ my own take on the how Kingdom Come should've really gone ;)
6:18 Seems like Henry is not the only one with "Numbskull" here.
Still the best Kingdom Come RUclipsrs 🙂
Awww, you're making me blush :P
Oh, God finally! The missing link between Spiffing Brit's voice and Ambiguous Amphibian's voice!!!
Haha, I might have to find audio of them both saying similar lines, then overlay our voices over and see if there is a harmony going from low to high :P
@@helicalgoose That would be a really confusing but tasty treat (:
None of these debuffs are a problem for a skilled knight
Yup :D
They are mostly annoying or something to keep in the back of the mind.
I think the three worse ones are brittle bones or bleeding issue (These two are tied with each other) and the exp half gain.
