Hi guys. Welcome to my channel please feel free to leave a comment below. All comments will be replied to. The only thing I ask is you be respectful to each other. We all have a common interest in the game and lifestyle of Airsoft. So stay safe and bring on the Booom
An amazing and such an in-depth review. Respect to you for so much attention to detail, this has been a great source of info. All the best from North Wales ;)
I did do a sound test but doing it in the House was not good as the sound only bounced off the walls and seemed louder than when I did it out side. But on the day it was too windy for a good sound test.
Went from 0.3 & 0.32's and tried some 0.4 and yep what a difference.. Have a few bottles on order now for the MTW..Such an awesome bit of kit. Thanks for vid & advice. :)
Thanks Josh. The one thing that I’ll say and it’s very important. When you get your MTW and barrel and M4W hop……. Make sure you set the Dwel right or your BB’s will be all over the place and make sure you use it at least 1 every few weeks because if you leave it any longer the Dwel can go back to zero and it will have to be reset again. Just keep that in mind, it’s important
No the Dwel is fine turning the right amount of air that the solinade lets threw the barrel. It’s super important to get it set right. If you go onto Wolverine they will show ya no problem
Fair point....... but Hobbyairsoft are doing the Spena arms BB .30’s at €12 for a 1KG bag....... or €24 for 3 bags........ even if ya went up to the .30’s it would be better than nothing. Plus if you can get a group of lads to go in with ya for heavier BB’s and order in bulk it will bring the cost down a bit.......
Hi Jerry. I love the MTW…… but some of my mates have the SSX303 and like it a lot but used the Primary airsoft HPA adaptor to make it better and put in an upgraded return nozzle spring. I have tried the HPAed SSX303 and was not a fan…….. but that’s just me. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and comment
congratulations for the video, I have a doubt that when I connect the battery and close the gun sometimes it doesn't work there is some procedure I'm forgetting to do
Thanks bro. Are you stripping your rifle every time you go to play.....??? If you are there are a few things that you can do. First thing is have a look at the two springs in the lower that is sticking up. And make sure that they are not flattened down, as they need to make contact with the two screws in the engine in the upper. Put your rifle back together and make sure the springs are touching the screws....... then put the battery in and test it. If it’s still not working open it up and stretch the springs a little...... and I mean just a little, and put it back together again and put the battery back in. Doing this while the battery is in is not good. That should fix the problem. Make sure the battery is fully charged as well. I hope that helps. Let me know how ya get on ok. 💪
What range your MTW will get will depend on your joule limit. In Ireland im using BLS BB’s and they are .36’s. They are the best for range at 1 joule. The heavier BB’s will be more accurate, you will just have to rest for range and see what works best for you
My buddy and I came to pretty much the same conclusion. .32s performed better than .28s with only a slighlty greater cost, and .43s performed better than the .40s for roughly the same increase. The extra five feet of range going up to the .36s wasnt worth the price increase from the .32s, so thats what we use for our 'standard' rifles. Our DMRs, we use the .43s and can hit a mans chest consistantly at 250', while consistantly hitting the body (shoulders to thighs) at 285'. We are out ranging most of the snipers on the field and easily outranging every AEG. Definately worth the investment.
Hay bro. Nice to see you did some testing for your country and your limits. It’s great when you out range people..... it drives them nuts but worth every penny. I’m glad you found the video helpful and thanks for the comment...... 💪💪💪
@@Notjudecamberos Hey Jude. That is with my 10" model ( i had a 14" DMR AEG before, and with a can it was way too hard to work around trees and cover) with a supressor and Phoenix Hop. The Phoenix hop helps tremendously with the heavier BBs. I will eventually post a video on my channel about my rifles, but at the moment, my PC is too old and slow and is taking HOURS to make a simple edit on another review im doing. I also bought a 7" MTW a little while ago for my 'assault' setup and it is all still stock. Shooting .32s through the MTW gives you a definate edge over AEGS shooting .20s and .28s.
oh wow cool, do you use the forged edition? also what Jules you are getting? Can you share your PSI settings and such? i am planning on getting 10" forged one
Yes both rifles are at 1joule. I did have a scope camera on the MTW........ but the cold drained the battery so I could not use the camera....... sorry
Hi Adrian, personally I think the 14 is too long as for range and accuracy that will be down to your hop and bucking and barrel. I have the billet and do not thing the forged is worth the cash
Loved this video prefer the range test something more interesting good man keeping us all entertained threw lock down can't wait to game with ya battle brother and can NOT wait to shoot them mean fucking machines haha fair play kid
@@ManiaAirsoft totally get that (and I believe we wil starting testing in joules pretty soon in belgium), but i've noticed that i'm not reaching the 320 fps that i'm allowed to have with .40 BB's with the regulator all the way open. Since not a lot of people use the wraith aero stock here I dont have anything to compare to (if mine needs fixing or not)
I changed out the stock barrel and put in a PDI 6.01 into it that will give you an extra bit of FPS for sure. If you mail the guys in Wolverine I’m sure they will have some ideas that could help
Getting this kind of range really depends on how stable your FPS is. AEG’s just bounce way too much for my liking, where as HPA can be turned up or down so you can get the max out of your weapon and with a very good barrel and hop and bucking you can get amazing range with heavy BB’s
@@ManiaAirsoft i am planning on getting the new MTW forged 10"(NOT milspec). Any idea what's the maximum J i would be able to pull off? It has 285mm barrel but no idea what's the internal diameter. The limit in my contry is 1.9J From the shop you recommend powair6
@@ManiaAirsoft oh and another question if you will :) are there any highcap mags that are compatible with MTW? You know the ones you can just pour BBs in
The max joule limit I do not know. You would be best to ask the guys in Powair6 they will get back to ya with that information. As for mags. I use the Wolverine mags. As for what works best I’m not 100% sure. But if your on Facebook there are a few Wolverine groups you can join and ask questions and the guys in the group are very helpful
Hi Tyler. Yes I have a 6.01 stainless steel PDI inner barrel, the MAXX hop Pro and a G&G green. But I’m going to change it to the Maple leaf Mr hop 50 or the 2021 silicone 50. No I have not set the dwell for the higher weight BB’s..... for the video I did change the psi for the weights to keep it under the joule limit.

Awesome vid mate, I've just ordered my Billet and a few bags of 0.4s :) Subbed

Hello.
Can you please tell me what MTW version you have,im thinking of getting one.
Im doing my research etc.
Thanks
I’m using a Gen 1 Billet. The new Gen 3 is out and it’s a lot better than the Gen 1. Well worth the money
How much PSI do you have on the regulator in the tests ?

In denmark with the jules we use, I get my MTW 10" to 80 meters ;) 0,36 is the sweet spot!
Ooohhh wow....... I would love a higher limit but our laws in Ireland are 1 joulie across the board on all weapons

Oh hell yeah.......... if ya want to meet up one of the days we can do a range test with the heavier weight BB’s and you will be amazed.
Would of been nice to have seen the bb flight path
Yes it would of been, but the Runcam scope camera 25mm is a short range camera.
Wow. I don't know of any other stock "rifleman class" rifles that could hit that barrel so consistently.
The platform is amazing, you could not ask for better. Plus with a few up graded it gets better a lot better……
