    Ugreen 145w power bank with 3 ports 2 type C 1st 100w 2nd 45w 3rd a usb A at 18w and ugreen 100w plug you'll never need another plug again 3x type C and a usb A both super fast charging I don't travel without either. I use the peak design 3L sling for carrying the drone plenty room for the mini 3 pro RC controller and fly more kit with the power bank. Definitely recommend the skyreat propeller guard and a sun guard for the controller.

    Hi Ian,
    FANTASTIC vid with some amazing ideas, very well presented and I like your scoring system. Just purchased a case, card holder and new screwdriver ! As a new clueless newbie your suggestions did make a lot of sense. Keep up the good work. Take care. Len. Plymouth UK

    I realize the Plus batteries take it over 250g but I don't care and it's all I fly with. Aside from the extra battery life the Mini 3 Pro seems to just fly better with them, it's as if that drone was designed for them. And so that'd be my own #1 accessory advice. Yes, the water floats are both silly and dangerous, have tried them :)
    Cool video, thanks.

      Thanks, yeah I’ve never even considered the extra batteries. Don’t think they’re even available in 🇬🇧 strangely

      Yeah i tried the floats on an atom se and and a nice gust must grabbed them and flipped the drone upside down. Lucky it dropped right down into a small hedge i was flying over.

      @rollingmancave the Plus battery puts them about 35g over

    I fly the Mini 1 and I like having the landing gear on it (not for water) . It feels so much safer landing with a little bit of space below the drone and now just sitting on the ground.

    Ian, no gimmicks, thanks for recommending accessories which in MHO are well advised and based on what you have found to add value to your drone use. I’ve been doing similar, buying only accessories that I find I need over time. I like that you express caution with some products too, all good advice for people fairly new into this amazing hobby. You’ve got me thinking on a couple of things too 🤔. I have a folded prop protector but you’re absolute right, that little case is a good idea. Enjoying your video format. 👏

    -Extra propellers
    -ND filters, what ever brand dsnt matter.. cheaper is better it serve its purpose anyways..
    -landing gear not (Pad)
    and also
    a bag for your drone.

    you mentioned the DroneMask for FPV. I wonder, if the DJI Goggles 2 (or V2 or Integra) wouldnt be a better choice, as they would work with the PRO model as well due to O3.
    Dronemask is cheaper, but its heavy and bulky

    Hey Ian, I just got myself a mini 3 without the pro. Quick question: Would you use these light less than 250g to capture at high wind locations, eg, the coast, Highlands and mountains etc?

    • @Ian.A.Anderson
      @Ian.A.Anderson  Год назад +1

      I would advise against using in high wind as much as possible. However, on my Edinburgh live flight I did push it more than usual in wind (most recent video). If you’re a regular hiker the Air2s is a better option

      Appreciate the reply, mate. I'm just getting into all this. Love it. I really need to pick up on post-production. Your videos are helping, though.

      @@ricenpearoy7024 Yeah editing is super important, it's all a loop. Through editing you'll pick up on what are your best drone shots, which need work etc. And you'll get better when you go out and about.
      Good luck with your journey

    I've ordered the range extenders Ian. Do you leave the controller in Dual band or do you switch it to 5.8 when you use your extender?

    • @Ian.A.Anderson
      @Ian.A.Anderson  Год назад +1

      In dual band but it may be worth testing the difference

    • @markvermaat652
      @markvermaat652 Год назад +1

      you better switch to 5.8 (or 2.4 if you use 2.4 extenders). In dual band your signal will periodically switch between 2.4 and 5.8 An 5.8 antenna connected to a 2.4 signal will be counterproductive. Especially the radiationpattern of the yagi antenna will change and becomes cross-eyed. On the other hand, in dual band the system will check which band is best during flight. At your home point 5.8 could be the best choice, but at the location where the drone is 2.4 might be better. So in the end what is the better choice? I think it differs of the local situation.

    Trying to find the freewell sun shade. Any ideas as far too expensive shipping from America to the uk.

      Hi Gary, I’ve just used the Freewell all day. And been happy with the results for the cost. The sun shade are coming up as £149.99 Amazon. I’d have to do more research if they’re worth the extra £100 but it seems steep as the all day do a good job at £49.99

    • @kead6636
      @kead6636 Год назад

      @@Ian.A.Anderson That would be excellent. I can see that the drone space (left side) does have extra room and so it isn't really secure and hard to tell if the case would fit.
