Almost $2K for a balcony room on the 1st floor - not even a suite. Holes in the pillow and some worn furniture pieces. The steak frites were overpriced and no excuse for a 40 minute wait. The meat didn’t even look very good. Breakfast looked good and public areas were gorgeous. But what was really unacceptable was the lack of warmth or even decent service. Strong pass for me, even if money were no object.
Totally agree, I will never travel to France no matter the circumstances, they absolutely despise European or Caucasian people period. Very racist country.
What I love about your videos is that they beautifully depict the feeling of tension that is inside these hotels. For 25 years I went into these places for business working for a luxury car brand , the biggest issue I had was simply feeling out of place, I didn’t grow up with those layers of granduer so when you finally do get in there you realise not only do you have the wrong clothes but you feel like you’re even having to walk differently. The other thing I found is many of the world’s great hotels are soulless , they don’t live up to the brochures or the drone shots. So in the end , I prefer to rent an apartment or house and simply try to live in whatever area I’m visiting. So your videos serve as a useful reminder to me, to remember what is real and what is not , real is your beautiful family and friends , and whilst being able to afford whatever you want is not the worst thing in the world, neither is it the best.
No they don't need to have the right attitude for tourists wanting to take selfies and those who book a single night for a novelty experience, these establishments exist to cater for the wealthy. If its yet another branch of a Premier Inn or Double Tree then the complaints of rude + poor service has legitimacy ...
I get what you're saying but, after all, it's a private business and they can run it how they want. I'm sure they deal with a lot of threats because of their rich/famous customers they get all the time. The camera that Tim carries around is probably a bit of a red flag for them. Not to mention that Monte Carlo is a huge target in and of itself.
@@ThreeFiddy1701 what if that tourist staying one night was a billionaire? I mean would they take the risk of being rude to someone they think does not have a status?
I lived in Monaco decades ago as a Nanny. It was run by a mafia and you had to tip everywhere you went, as the family of my charge would give me the money to do it otherwise they would totally ignore you. I speak fluent French and it made no difference at all to their aloofness. 😂 I have only seen the front inside of the casino which apparently was all re done in 2019. I was told that there is a secret underground from the hotel to the casino, but haven't experienced that. The best experience I had was to be invited onto some of the massive yachts. Even the vases onboard were the size of a fridge freezer, everything so large and money dripping off people with designer clothes etc. The road in Monte Carlo is the race track and many times I would drive with the children I nannyed for, pretending to be a race driver 😊 had great fun 🚗😊 Enjoyed your video, lovely to remember and to see the changes. I still prefer living on the Greek Islands, people are so friendly. Maybe you can visit one of them one day 😊
Interesting comment. Sometimes I come across videos from Monte Carlo and although the city is nicely located and the architecture is interesting in some places, the form of wealth that pours out of every building there is kitschy and repulsive to me. You write about the mafia controlling the city when you lived there, and I must admit that, looking from a distance, it also looks like that to me - as if people from poor backgrounds suddenly got their hands on huge amounts of money and behaved like little children in a toy store.

That mafia is still there. The Prince son, who take over the place is trying hard to take the mafia only into business affairs, like construction and estates. The Hotel de Paris , before the grand renovation, was one of they legit business. That Hotel is made for sissy -people get escorted by all professionals types, and the flashy new money. The family oriented and the well treated people stay at The Hermitage. Even the world famous restaurantes in the Hotel de Paris are gone. Tacky weddings and receptions are the left overs. The Hotel can smell with drains, smoke of cigarette and maryjane... The Hotel Metropole is also friendly. Monaco is not a place of hospitality. Tim, you were very welcomed, since they offered you one of the best hotel view rooms.
True class is accepting people for who they are In Germany, my daughter and I went into a very expensive clothes shop. The lady, whose family owned the shop, was lovely It was very clear that we were financially not her target market, but she was so friendly and relaxed with us, exactly how it should be - regardless of finances, we should treat each other with respect
Indeed mark of true class in an establishment is that they treat everyone equally and make no assumptions about how much money you might have. The places that act pretentious are often for wannabes and people that want to pretend they are better than everyone else so they like feeling like the riff raff are being kept out while they get treated better, it's an ego trip. I'd wager this hotel is the place in Monaco that people traveling beyond their means want to stay in because of the name, meanwhile the standards and service has slipped and the truly wealthy have moved on to somewhere else because they don't care about bragging they stayed there.
I had the same experience at a “salon” in Rome. The owner was amazing & I have the wonderful memory of being in there. It was very special, respectful, warm and friendly.
While I agree with that attitude, I do think the location of the Hotel de Paris makes it hard to keep that attitude. Treating every tourist that goes in there as a potential billionaire and giving them the same treatment as they would a guest is simply not possible.
Of course, and yes I would agree -a billionaire in a hotel is bound to get exclusive top class treatment because they’ve paid for it. Not every one can have the same level of service. But that’s not the point I was making. My point is that it’s not necessary to treat people with disdain simply because you think they aren’t financially viable. You can still be polite and pleasant. Also - one day - that person you’ve been rude to, may just become financially viable. It’s why the famous dress shop scene in Pretty Woman is so memorable.
Imagine F1 pit commentator Ted Kravitz casually turning up to this hotel in his trademark shorts & sandals? Plus you’d think a room with a balcony literally overlooking Monaco’s 2nd corner would be flawless to the last fabric!
I know plenty of rich people, that don’t look particularly rich. They don’t wear flashy clothing nor expensive jewellery/ watches……they are worth over 100 million.- 500 million…Rich screams, Wealth whispers…customer service staff must never judge..nor should anyone..
I got to stay in a room in Monaco overlooking the ocean with a balcony. It was Princess Grace hospital and I had my appendix out there in 2006. My doctor was Dr. Ferrari, not joking. I got sick on a cruise and thank God the second doctor I saw on board figured it was appendicitis so it was off to the hospital for an ultrasound and that's where I ended up for the next few days. My ship left port but I got to stay there for ten days experiencing Monte Carlo and taking a train to Cannes. Good thing i had insurance because it was $$$. But what an adventure and I loved recovering there by walking around and experiencing everything. Definitely want to go back, but stay out of the hospital 😊
I treat all hotel staff with respect and expect the same in return. I would not have handled their rudeness as well as you did. The pillow case damage speaks volumes, all frills and no knickers.
I noticed that some of the best hotels in the world can be the worst in the world for missing the little things that can ruin the experience of staying at the hotel
@@WalkWithMeTimI think in most cases you’re right but I got the best , most sincere amazing warm service at the shard. I was expecting the opposite. I went with my daughter who was about 9 at the time and we got treated like superstars ( although we were clearly at the low end of the clientele money status wise 🤣)
I am not sure if the content is available. But, I would be interested in Best rated 2-4 Star Hotel reviews. Maybe something along the lines of Getting a great experience that your average person/family could do. Lets say I went to Visit the UK. I have found that The Ritz is absolutely, the best at making guests feel welcomed and at least where I stayed, you wouldn't find a bit of chipped furniture, I assure you. The timely service is world class, and the food is superb. A stroll down the hall with anything remotely resembling crystal, hanging from the ceiling, is indeed, just that, and exclusively, the best sort! I will always love The Ritz. I enjoyed your video. It was most informative, and I'll certainly, think twice before staying at The Hotel de Paris.
Ever watch that TV series Hustle, that's how you need to act. I'm sure there is defiantly a way to make yourself appear as someone your not with snobby people in these hotels. Takes loads of self confidence though.
@@mutley23able If someone is giving off a snobby, self- important attitude, look at them as though they have a piece of lettuce stuck between their teeth.
Tim's Hollister clothes gave it away though, especially the fake jeans..... I guess you'd maybe get more respect with the simple no-logo, say, H&M stuff, which could look more expensive.
@@pffyespffBut why should he have to? His money is as good as anyones and the hotel took it so he should be treated as a guest not a bum who walked in off the street, just because he wasn’t wearing designer labels.
Your reviews have so much value because they are balanced honest and come from a point of view of an ordinary person. This is so refreshing. I'm so surprised at the service taking so long .
I’m not surprised about your comment regarding the rude hotel Staff. I have experienced exactly the same rudeness on the few occasions I have visited France. I find them quite arrogant
Yep. I didn't enjoy my visit in Nice and Monaco back in 2010. Everyone was just plain rude and this is coming from someone who grew up in NYC. I wouldn't go back again.
"Benidorm vibes" -priceless. Staff attitude reminds of the movie Pretty Woman where Vivienne tries to buy clothes in a snooty fashion shop on Rodeo Drive.
Monte Carlo is no longer what it was during the time of Prince Rainier. Your experience at the Paris hotel made me uncomfortable even while sitting watching at home. The money you've spent during your stay should be considered lost or thrown down the drain so never again you should have gone elsewhere. I salute your kindness and politeness.
I love Monaco/Monte Carlo, been there many times. I always stay at the Fairmont, it is a wonderful hotel with great staff and not too posh like the HdP or Hermitage. They have a great rooftop pool and restaurant with a magnificent view over the mediterranean and Monaco. The rooms are nice, all have a balcony and the breakfast is enormous. Very recommendable.
If the bathroom drains smelled foul, I would have requested another room. And NO Excuse for the ripped pillowcase. My goodness. Thanks for your honest review. I will never stay at this hotel.
@@WalkWithMeTim That's what i was wondering: Why didn't you ask for another room? Politeness aside I'd directly and politely ask the reception for another one then told the security guard to take a hike. Smiling and politely of course.
@@theriddler6073maybe the 1st floor is where they put all the ‘riff-raff’ 😂 with rooms not up to par, and Tim not getting a higher up room like he requested. I’m not for one second saying Tim is ‘riff-raff’ but in terms of like classism etc
I am a regular guest at the hotel. And there are many things I love about the Hotel de Paris. I also smelled the smell coming from the drains in the bathroom last summer (6th floor in the rotunda - new building). I reported it and the hotel staff made an effort to remove the smell. Unfortunately to no avail. A friend who was a guest in the hotel at the same time is a civil engineer. In his opinion, the smell came from a construction error in the drainage pipes. A major intervention is needed to eliminate the problem.
An iconic hotel that has turned itself into a tourist trap by charging for everything and not providing good service. The nicked side table with the super shabby paint job is when I said NO Sewerage smells, torn bedding and rude staff
I had Excactly the same experience in that hotel, felt on the verge of losing my temper everytime i had to talk to a member of staff. I stay at a hotel to relax not to feel stressed !!!!
Sadly probably prostitutes as well; i say that as i worry for their safety. Wealthy clients can be as sadistic as anyone else, but with more wads of cash.
There are some people in Monaco whose money comes from dubious sources. The British writer Somerset Maugham called it “a sunny place for shady people.”
A couple of years ago I stayed in Nice, and visited Monaco for a day - which is how I recommend everyone does it. Much more to see and do in Nice, it's cheaper and I think much more beautiful!
Stunning Hotel , breakfast looked lovely too…. Shame the rest of the experience wasn’t 5 star , You’ve definitely had a more pleasant customer service in far cheaper hotels!
The French are renowned for being enormous snobs. Your sin was that you didn't speak French. Even the cleaners are offended if you don't speak their language & they really don't like the English! Don't take it personally, it's just how things are. 😁
@@samn6498I stayed in the Hotel de Paris before the pandemic, in January 2019. I had been traveling in Provence and the Cote d’Azur and wanted to end my journey with a bang. I think I paid about €700 or €800 a night for a much better experience, with a larger room in a higher floor, also with a sea view and a view of the Prince’s palace. Weather was chill but very sunny. 38:50 Breakfast wasn’t included. The staff were very polite and helpful, maybe because there weren’t many guests. Also the casino, just a few roulette tables open. The restaurant you mentioned, Le Grill, was closed for the winter. I went instead to the Le Louis XV, which is managed by Alain Ducasse. I had an absolutely amazing dinner, very expensive, about €400, but with champagne, wines, four courses etc. I was maybe the only diner there that evening, with amazing service. My lesson: always travel to the Mediterranean in winter. That was the practice in the XIXth century. You’ll have a much better reception.
Brother Tim... That's exactly what I've been saying for ages when you got to 5 star hotels. It's a shame they weren't friendly, but it all on how you were dressed. When they see Hollister, they don't see class(don't get offended by that remark but I worked in fancy hotels and restaurants). Unfortunately those trainers, jeans and that type of clothing, I've been warning you about. They saw you and they didn't see big tip or big spender, despite the ridiculous price of the place. It's a shame people treat others like that.. but those places money and appearances are king in those countries 😢😢
It’s great that Tim walks in, being his great self, and he’s not treated well, and watched like he’s a cat burglar. This gives the majority of people the ability to see how they would be treated if they visited. Snobby place with horrible smelly bathroom, overpriced food, and beat up furniture….not worth all the money they charge.

@@WalkWithMeTim Of all of these great comments, this is a good place for me to jump in. I have close friends who are old school billionaires, and we are in the $50-75m range ourselves - we and our billionaire friends are the opposite of the rude/spoiled rich folks you are describing. We get so much enjoyment out of the PEOPLE everywhere we go, staff, locals. Those people make our experiences wonderful. But one only taps into that wonder by being warm, genuine, and considerate. I always try to honor our hosts by speaking as much of their native language as I can and having a laugh with them at my poor language skills. So there are lots of nice rich people, but a visible, rotten bunch of them give the rest a bad name. Same is true with staff. We don't wear clothing/jewelry that stands out. We dress like Tim in most respects. But we have found great staff in most places. The places where staff are rude get no further attention from us. Monte Carlo is the last place I would expect to find good people, staff or locals. Everything about it is oriented toward over the top opulence and fakeness. Stay in Nice, visit local (non-tourist) family businesses, and you will meet some of the warmest, most lovely people anywhere. Then just take the train to Monte Carlo to watch "the show". And thank you, Tim, for your great work! Your videos are really good and enjoyable.
It's just OK, needs to be cleaner and chips all over disgusting, and their attention to detail is not good at All ! I know I worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, last job for the Queen of mean!
Great video as always Tim. Honestly the management really needs a good slap. Your experience with the smell in the bathroom, blocked drain, no mattress encasement, and rude staff is inexcusable. There is nothing wrong with heavy security but their presence should be concealed by being totally discreet, as to avoid guests feeling like they are under constant surveillance. Thanks for sharing Tim.
I went here years ago on one of my dads business trips. I always remember that long corridor to the pool. The pool used to be very dark, black slate like tile on all the walls. Looks much better now. The manager of the restaurant for breakfast would always have a whole table waiting just for me, and I was just a 12 year old kid on my own
Definitely not worth the price! The security guards ‘ death stares is the rudest thing on planet Earth. Besides, having to wait for 40 minutes for your steak to be brought is unacceptable. Not terribly good vibes on Monaco. Thank you for your fabulous video, always such a huge pleasure to watch!❤

Wow, that is quite a blunder with a new addition. The SBM seem to have some issues as of late. I know they have changed some personel at the top, maybe the attention to detail wasn't the best in recent years.
Lucky you to stay there regularly my late sister has a place in menton and Iv passed this hotel many times and allways thought I’d feel not worthy to take a whiff at the drains lol
Bad smells put me really off places. When I was looking for a home to buy I came across a smelly place and instantly dismissed it even though it fitted my needs.

The staff can scan you (after years of experience) and get an accurate estimate of your net worth, then behave accordingly. They are so old-fashioned they don't understand reviews like this and the influence of the internet.

Tim seems very cordial and very sweet and for people to be rude to him is uncalled for. I would have a hard time keeping my mouth shut if I felt people were being rude or watching my every move especially during dinner. I would’ve had a hard time keeping my mouth shut, I suppose it’s part of the NYer in me. It seems to me unless you pull up in a Ferrari or a Lamborghini then you are beneath them, their sense of superiority is astounding.
I think if you constantly dressed in a suit you could probably walk around the hotel without anyone stopping you but the security are clearly on the look out for "tourists".
You’re the perfect man to review this, humble and fair. I was not surprised to find out just how rude staff and security were, exactly what I expected.
First of all Tim congratulations on reaching over 400,000 subscribers very well deserved 👏 i can understand the security could be tight in a hotel like with no doubt many rich & famous guests however to treat you the way they did ( even when not filming) is pretty dam unacceptable 😤 but well done Tim for keeping your composure & still giving us another fantastic detailed video 👍
I used to live in Beausoleil, just up the hill in France. The Monaco beach (la plage du Larvotto) is artificial. In the winter months, they truck in loads of gravel and rake it all smooth. It sort of sums up Monaco in many ways: all fur coat and no knickers.
Thankyou once again time for a super review , I personally wouldnt ever want to go to this hotel, How dare security staff glare at you like they did. You were a Paying guest and its wanst nice that you felt uncomfortable. I think its very expensive and thus not worth that kind of money in my view. I also wouldnt feel comfortable staying here. But its amazing how through your camera i can experience such places without spending any money. it was a highlight to my sunday thankyou so much tin for sharing this with us
It must be a super uncomfortable feeling staying in a place where people keep looking at you with suspicion. I know a similar feeling myself, after I went to a rather “high end” restaurant a few years ago. I’m an average guy, I try my best to look presentable 😅 But the lady on the front desk wasn’t able to tell me that they were fully booked fast enough, while looking down her nose at me 😅
I would love a series on the worst rated bed and breakfast places and worst rated holiday parks. I never see you do bed and breakfast or even some Boutique hotels.
I come from a career in Luxury Hospitality Consultancy, Tim; and although there are stereotypes for the French, their perceived rudeness is probably down to their own policies and the fact that they know you’re there making content. As for the concierge, they operate in a slightly different way… mostly on kickbacks to refer guests to outside amenities, restaurants, tours etc, and would likely have been frustrated at a question for the guest-services team. Reception is for general room & guest questions, concierge for recommendations and bookings, and the housekeeping/guest services for extra pillows etc. Roughly the same as asking a car salesman for info on a car when he just wants to sell to the eager buyers he’s about to ‘close’. I think maybe also down to their personalities, the security guard may have come over because asking a question to the concierge might have looked less-than calm (although absolutely not your fault). They’re acutely aware that you’re filming and might be a little suspicious of it. There’s also a lot to be said for the snobbery aspect of it - there’s an element of truth to the fact that if you don’t turn up draped in designer wear and a super car snapping your fingers, then you “can’t afford to stay there”. I think, often times, service workers in luxury hospitality and retail need a reality check à la Pretty Woman, and it’s true that any paying guest deserves to be treated with respect.
Proof that expensive doesn't mean quality. Paying to have bad service and security staff judging you like you are about to commit a crime, no thanks! And I'm sure that if you were "important" they would lay a red carpet for you. Seems like the only thing going for that hotel is the location.
Great video Tim. Could you please do a Top 5 Places to Stay video? You've been all over the world so what would you say are your top 5 favorite destinations/hotels? This could be based on value for money, quality of the rooms, the hotel, the service etc.
You should consider George V in Paris. I had the most wonderful experience. They have an exquisite high tea, the restaurant cuisine is excellent. The concierge treats you very well, speaks to you by name and can get you into the Moulin Rouge VIP. One of the best Hotels in the world.
I visited Monte Carlo a few years ago and found it fascinating - the way that people looked at you and calculated your net worth from your clothes/ watch etc was amusing to me as some one with zero net worth but not at all what I expected for somewhere that should be classy.
@@mcfrisko834 Not that it has any relevance, I am not rich, I didn't stay there as it was too expensive and most people who visit Monaco are white anyway.

I stayed in Le Majestic, Cannes when I visited Monte Carlo. You have to enjoy those places from a normal persons view, thats what I like here very much. Greetings from Germany.
Your experience reminded me of the only time that I ever went to a restaurant in a famous hotel. It was the Plaza in Manhattan. I was a college student and I took a date to a movie across the street from the Plaza. When we left the theater it was raining very hard so we dashed across the street to the safety of the Plaza. As I recall, we just had a cup of coffee in the grand restaurant next to the lobby. Everything went fine until the young waitress arrived with the check. I gave her what I thought was a decent tip, but she looked at me and said something to the effect of "What didn't you like about my service." I never felt so bad in all my life! Good, polite service really does matter.
The Oceanside view looked incredible and parts of the hotel looked really nice but I wouldn't pay a cent to stay in that place especially with how the staff treats you

The road in Monte Carlo is the race track and many times I would drive with the children I nannyed for, pretending to be a race driver 😊 had great fun 🚗😊
Enjoyed your video, lovely to remember and to see the changes. I still prefer living on the Greek Islands, people are so friendly. Maybe you can visit one of them one day 😊
Lovely story, thanks for sharing

True class is accepting people for who they are
In Germany, my daughter and I went into a very expensive clothes shop. The lady, whose family owned the shop, was lovely
It was very clear that we were financially not her target market, but she was so friendly and relaxed with us, exactly how it should be - regardless of finances, we should treat each other with respect
Yes indeed, you said a mouthful right there and I (& many others, I’m sure) couldn’t agree more !!
Tim is like our secret mole in the world of the rich.

Imagine F1 pit commentator Ted Kravitz casually turning up to this hotel in his trademark shorts & sandals? Plus you’d think a room with a balcony literally overlooking Monaco’s 2nd corner would be flawless to the last fabric!
He's like Robin Leach but without the stupid accent.
For all the hype, I'd say not up to par. Torn pillow, chipped bedside tables, stuffy staff...I'd say no to this one!

Very enjoyable! If I were using so much money there, I would feel unappreciated. Which is why we appreciate you, Tim. Thank you!
I appreciate that!
The first glass was a whiskey tumbler, second glass for wine, and third a brandy glass👌😁
And two Champagne flutes in the Hotel De Paree !
You should consider George V in Paris. I had the most wonderful experience. They have an exquisite high tea, the restaurant cuisine is excellent. The concierge treats you very well, speaks to you by name and can get you into the Moulin Rouge VIP. One of the best Hotels in the world.
😃 that's because the George V is a Four Seasons' hotel.
Thanks, now I will never waste my money in that hotel
🎉
There's so much more depth to Tim's videos compared to many of the one trick pony vloggers on RUclips.
The white chandelier looks the same as the one in santorini video.. that was such an epic hotel room ...with the little mini pool....
oh yes it did!
It reminded me of the green one at the savoy! I haven’t seen the Santorini video, yet.
I visited Monte Carlo a few years ago and found it fascinating - the way that people looked at you and calculated your net worth from your clothes/ watch etc was amusing to me as some one with zero net worth but not at all what I expected for somewhere that should be classy.
I never got that vibe at all from my one visit there.
@@Romans8-9You probably didn't notice. My husband wouldn't.
@@Romans8-9 Well are you white and super rich?
@@mcfrisko834 Not that it has any relevance, I am not rich, I didn't stay there as it was too expensive and most people who visit Monaco are white anyway.
That place has all of the atmosphere of the moon. Same food you'd get anywhere except four times the price. Good to know im not missing anything.
when I saw the pillow you made me feel better 😅 jajajajaja
My best channel discovery in quite a while 👍. I have been to many great Hotels in my life of 61 years, and enjoy seeing familiar and new here. I stayed in Le Majestic, Cannes when I visited Monte Carlo. You have to enjoy those places from a normal persons view, thats what I like here very much. Greetings from Germany.
Wow, thank you!
@@abrupt_oliver I've stayed at the Ibis in Preston.
Excellent honest review of a hotel I will never have an opportunity to visit but wanted to see. Thank you.
That thing at 6:47 - I’m going to go out on a limb & suggest that it’s a vacuum cork for the wine 🍷
I love your videos!!! Thank you for ALL of your commentary!!!
Thanks for a great honest review
The Oceanside view looked incredible and parts of the hotel looked really nice but I wouldn't pay a cent to stay in that place especially with how the staff treats you
I stayed there some years back, it was outright one of the worst stays of my life. I'm an Arab, I was getting looks everywhere I went. The racism is just amazing. I checked out early.
That’s so sad to hear!! Good for you for checking out early❤
You will experience racism everywhere outside of the Middle East ... don't single out Monte Carlo, it's not a friendly place for anyone except if you are someone who brings in wealth ...
It's mainly a French thing i'm guessing, i've heard in Montreal they have a similar racist issue
When I went on a cruise and visited Egypt the operators (us) said don't meet the locals. I ignored their advice. I love meeting locals. I despise recism. Come to England!
Wow! Best wishes from the UK 😊
Tim I love this time you walked around the area to give a preceptive of things to see or area of the hotel. Awesome 👏
Love your videos Tim! You reviews are very honest and detailed. Greetings from Australia !
Was actually looking at this hotel, well and truly put me off. Great detailed review.
Thank you for your videos. My wife and I really enjoy watching them and going places through you tat would never see.
Tim, you are a legend!
I love how you, totally unapologetically wear the same outfits, at butlins trailer park as you do, when staying at hotel Paris Monaco, it cracks me up every time, but kudos to you!
Loving your videos, and how you often don’t seem, to recognise the simples household things, such as a metal wine bottle closure, when u find it next to the bottle and bottle opener and hotel Paris, yet NEVER struggle to find out how many people, fit into a shower 😉
Keep up the good work please!
Define patronising.
I agree the bedside tables leave something to be desired.
Oh my goodness……I love your channel! The places you go and share are so amazing, but actually “YOU ARE THE STAR”! You are so funny, transparent and honest in your descriptions of each place you visit! KUDOS for a job well done!!!! PS…watching from Colorado 🩷
Many hotels try and live up to their reputation. However, it takes money and excellent supervision to do that. From every department.
Have hotel standard dropped since Covid or are we blaming it for everything. One may not get properly trained staff or is now the bottom lone. What about trying the Hotel Adlon Berlin.
No truer words spoken .... & that’s a fact !
Thats a reed diffuser in the bathroom not joss sticks.
I found this channel like 2 weeks ago and have been binge watching since, I’m not usually a fan of this type of content but I really enjoy your videos.
Same! Except I found him a couple of days ago. I love his calm demeanor. He has the same calm reaction for something positive as he does for something negative. It soothes my nerves for everything to be calm.
Agree with both of you. Found him a few days ago, and it’s so calming for me to watch.
Been to Monaco many times and your comment about staff made so much sense, not just at the hotel but many other places (including police) speak to you as if you don’t belong to their little paradise, days of Monaco being the pinnacle of luxury are long gone but clearly they don’t travel 😂
Tim the world is no longer what it was. You are great!. Amangiri Hotel, Utah, USA. 😊
