  • The 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 “Daytona” is a 4.4 liter V12 engine classic Ferrari hitting a top speed of 163 mph! It appeared in the 80’s show “Miami Vice” This was Ferraris last V12 engine sold in the USA until 1984 when the Testarossa was revealed. This classic Ferrari is a truly marvelous work of art and a special Ferrari. A quick google search and you will find that these cars go for about half a million dollars. Elton John's Ferrari Daytona was on sale at an auction at an estimated 600-700k. This specific Ferrari had the engine completely restored so the value of this car is high and we got the privilege to be able to work on it and bring it to a pristine condition so that it can shine like the awesome car that it is. The main things we did to this Ferrari was to polish the wheels since they were a little dull, and we applied an entry level ceramic coating instead of applying a wax which would last much less. We also detailed the interior and applied a nice conditioner to the leather to preserve it.

@@TransformationDetail my pleasure! The reason many people think it’s the best is because it’s super powerful and shoots warm & filtered air. The only downside is if you use both motors in full blast they use up a lot of power so regular switches will trip you need to run on a 3500 watt and above generator

@@OQDetailing I haven't found a blower that works efficiently on non coated cars. The millwaukee one I have is too loud and isn't as effective

@@TransformationDetail yea same here, but the reality is that without any form of protection is extremely difficult to use a dryer, it doesn’t have to be a coating but at least some protection. However the leaf blower style ones are very powerful but not effective contrary to what people show online, I have one too and it’s okay nothing great, but this one is much more effective because the way the funnel it comes out is more targeted, plus the power and the fact that it’s heated makes it much more efficient

Excuse my ignorance but shouldn’t you start from top to the bottom?

      Thank you for watching!
Yes you are correct in a general sense however, usually in detailing we start with the wheels and then when washing the car, using clay bar, polishing or other processes then yes “top to bottom.” Nevertheless the reality is at the end of day everything is situational, and according to the preference of the detailer in accordance to the variables, the budget & desire of client. These things however are not portrayed through the videos most of the time.

Lol you just gotta save a cool half a million at least lol
John Elton’s is selling for 600-700k
I think it depends on a couple variables, This one had the whole engine restored so maybe in the higher end of spectrum
