Brings back a lot of memories from back in tge day. My best freind was Todd Wentz's cousin and we used to tag along and crewed for him, Ed Smith with the Red Alert Pro Stock and Earl Howard with the Hot Damn Modified back in the 90's. We also ran in the same circles as Paul Stull who ran the old Rebel Sled for the Heart of MD tractor pullers.

I remember the first time I saw you pull at Tuckahoe with the big boys. It was either a 5010 or 20, with a pressure washer pump for water injection. You held your own and did good. And was brought there by a friend with a pick up. I was impressed how well you did. Then I was there in Mardela, when you and your Dad pulled antique. That was my first time at a antique pull, and where I caught the pulling bug. I learned a lot those 4-5 years. The main thing's I learned were, the rules are for the new guy's, and when you beat the guy's that make the rules, the rules are gonna change. Keep on Pulling!

I'm from Ohio and a couple weeks ago I was browsing Marketplace and there was the Pepsi D 21 Allis and it's trailer for sale. So I guess a few of the classics are still around.

Hey man! as I continue watching your series, studying your pulls on Buck$hot - immediately noticed there is virtually NO crankcase blowby indicating great piston fitment and excellent top ring seal. That's horsepower!

Great video!, Bill! I really enjoyed the stories and the vintage footage of the tractor pulls. I really appreciate people like you that have a natural aptitude for mechanical stuff. Bill, what is the white vapor that blows out under the engine? Where is it generated from and from what process in the engine is it created?

Hey David! I think I only pulled up there once. It was always the first pull of the season and I usually didn't have it quite ready, but I would go to watch. The time l went l was the first puller, made a full pull and when l pushed in the clutch l could feel an engine bearing starting to go.( How l could tell that's what it was, l don't know, but l was right.) So l didn't come back, Bill Clem was going on and on about me making a full pull and then dropping out of the class. I might have been up there twice, late 80s early 90s, 'cause l remember having it out with Jim Talbott," Concrete Cowboy" and Coleman W. Delaware EE 2.

@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 That was always the thing about that event. Being the first of the season a lot of guys had problems, especially with new setups. Guess it took a few pulls to get the bugs worked out. I live close to there and used to go every year. Love your channel! Especially the old 80’s content. Keep it up!!

@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 he came in one night hauling Indiana rascal in a triaxle enclosed behind a ford dually. Those of us on towback crew asked him how it could handle all that and he said " the man built that tractor motor built the one in the truck stoutest on the highway ". That night he blew that thing apart just short of full pull mark. As you can imagine helmet went one way gloves another we pulled him back to the trailer one of the boys hollered out " did you say the same guy built you truck motor? I won't repeat his reply but we liked riling him up as much as he liked poking at us
