Great story! thats how tractorpulling is meant to be!
Love the stories. I can relatr!!
Glad you like them!
Just started watching Keep up the good stories
I love your story. May God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much!
As a city boy from Boston you have me hooked on tractors and Jesus
Hey Rich, Glad to hear it! What got you started watching? I'm really curious!
Awesome story. Love to hear about the old days when they were built not bought!
Your true story made me think of a hunting picture that was published on a calendar back about 50-60 years ago, but it was so vivid I still remember it well. There was a moral in it. The picture showed an adult turkey hunter completely decked out in everything any red blooded American male turkey hunter could wish for from his attire to his double barrel shotgun, but no turkey. Walking past him was a young fellow barely a teenager or younger, obviously not grown up yet, with nothing at all except his little old shotgun, but he had a turkey over his shoulder he had bagged. I don't remember if there was a caption or not, but the picture said it all. Thank you for those scriptures. I've seen this truth born out many times including in my own life. I see things different than I did 50 years ago. Now I believe God must delight in using weak people who are willing to commit and work to accomplish His ends, not because of us but in spite of us. Then we know who deserves the credit, and it's not us. Thank you for sharing your life with us, both your farming and faith. We had John Deere equipment on the dairy farm I grew up on. Daddy bought a new 4020 in about '67. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed that tractor with 5 bottom semi mounted plow and the disk with wings to let down when we got to the field. Silo filling was the best of all because that chopper made the 4020 shine! I still enjoy the memories from those years.
Hey James! Thanks for commenting about the hunting picture, sharing your thoughts and experiences, l'm glad to have you "in the audience"!
Great story glad the lord lead me to your videos. May God bless you always and your family Amen 🙏. I always say .ay God bless you because I heard Red Skelton say once he said it that way because he never thought he should be telling God what to do. I agree with his thinking
Good thought Frank!
Great story and video
Hey Joel! Great to hear from you, thanks for the high praise.
Love these videos been fooling with these tractors since I could walk my dad and I have been repowering 20 series for 30 years now combined and we use them to farm
They are great tractors! Glad you're keeping them in action.
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 best ever made we're running a 3020 with a 239t in it and I put a 359t in a 4020 a couple years ago
Awesome story. Thanks for sharing!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
First thing I learned in pulling 13 years ago, never judge the competition on how nice the pulling vehicle looks!!! Great story!!
My dad pulled back in the late 70's early 80's. He has been gone 12 years because of cancer, i still have his tractor today.
Nice hearing about the past
I enjoy the old pulls because of people like you. I remember watching the Orange Lion blow smoke rings. Modern teams can't beat old school.
Orange Lion, AC 210?
I grew up on 3020,4020,5020 tractors, nothing runs like a Deere , enjoy your stories keep the videos coming, brings back alote of ald memories growing up on the farm.
Awesome memories and videos
Ur are a cool guy love ur stories god bless u guys.
Never judge a book by its cover!
Bill, I recently started to watch your videos. I grew up on a dairy farm in the 60s. I recently bought back the 4010 that was our big horse on the farm back then and am restoring it. I would like to suggest a video that helps educate people on the process of food production. Too many have no concept of God's provision out of the earth and what it takes to accomplish that. God bless.
Hey, Congrats on buying back the 4010! I'll see if l can do a little something on growing your own food, thanks.
Just found your channel and subscribed. I enjoyed your reminiscing and style. Thanks, Boe
Welcome Boe! Good to hear from you, stick around.
Always enjoy your stories!
Thank you Shawn!😁👍👍
We use a lot of used parts on our pulling truck. Wanna put on the back "Your Junk Parts Just Kicked Yer Butt!!"
I love it! Wish l'd thought of that.
Great video loved the story
You pick beans like my husband ha. Ha good video.
Your husband does more talkin' than pickin'? LOL
Finally had time to watch this.................Good old days, what year would this have been? Us poor slobs here in the middle of the PA mountains were piddling around with junk built before '60 then I would guess, when a transfer sled first showed up locally you thought it was national news.
1984 was the year.
Loved the video! Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I like your videos,,very entertaining. Thank you Sir.
Thank you Joel, for watching and taking the time to leave a nice comment.🤠
Such a fun video and great story!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You just keep doing what your doing. Your one of the most honest, down to earth folks I've watched. I'll watch em all.
A great story...keep them coming...
Will do!
This is Timmy Pearl‘s wife, leaving a comment that he really enjoys all of your videos and loves listening to all the old pulling stories. It’s amazing how just some smart, ingenuity, overcomes, big and fancy expensive tractors.
Hey Brother Floyd! HaHa, thanks for the comment Timmy! l'm glad you've got a great sense of humor, I thought you might get a kick out of me sayin' that in the video. l still haven't heard from the other 2 guys Sean and Brad yet, you got 'em beat.
Good old days 😂😂😂
You,sir, have more mechanical ability than any trained mechanic I've ever ran across.
Just trying to use the talents God gave me, and l'm thankful he was generous!
He also makes it look so easy that anyone could do it.
Thank you brother! that was a good story I love tractor. Pulling yes the good Lord was smiling down on you back then love you channel and God bless
Love your videos. Been a John Deere fan since I was 5 years old. Grew up in the seat of a 4010.
That's awesome, thanks!
Great story Bill. Every tractor puller will have at least one story about a great run against all odds. Your story made me think of many from my 50+ years of pulling. Also in all the years I've be around pulling, I've learned not to consider looks into a tractor capabilities, often a showroom shiny tractor isn't a very good puller. Early on Dave Stangle with the "Solid Junk" G1000 MM became one of my heros that I always wanted to emulate. I have been fortunate over the years to have been acquainted with pullers from all around the country and I'm happy to know you personally 😃
Thanks for the kind words Paul, Glad to know you too.
Yes i did enjoy hearing story
Glad you enjoyed it! And ,yes, we are bring lied to about almost everything.
I liked the pulling story
I sure miss pulling I never got to get in to the tractors but I did alot of of pulling with a 97 Dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins I did all the work do it my self I always pulled in the 8,000 to 8,500lb open classes I've still got my truck it sets tucked I'm the corner of the shed waiting to come out again I spent alot of late nights with that truck out in the shop break it on Saturday night and then scramble around all week trying to find parts to have it back together for the following Saturday it's alot of fun but it's alot off work but I enjoyed every second of it when you take off with the sled it's like 30 seconds of freedom where you think about nothing but getting to the end of that track....I eventually will return to the pullin track
There's nothin' like a full pull run!
Love your stories
I got to got to go to work now but I'm coming back.🤠
Good times . Loved your stories

I remember when Dave Miller used to take his 4010 off the silo blower, shine her up, and take firsts in multiple classes. He always figured she was around 200 horse. Fun times!!
Those were the best times in pulling!

It was great that your dad supported you on your quest to build a pulling tractor.
I love your story and the best part you give the glory to the Lord.
Great stories!! I'm 33 and enjoy hearing about the old days of pulling. I saw your tractor down at Classic Green in June. What a great show it was! My wife and I love our two cylinders. Liked and Subscribed.
Thanks, glad you're enjoying my channel! I love two cylinders too!
Awesome story buddy
Hey thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Got some other stories up, more to come.
Always had more respect for the men who build the winners over the men who simply buy the wins sadly builders are far and few between .any one can write a check. Keep em coming bill .god bless .
Great point!
Story Time with Uncle Bill🤠
Gotta admit, I was glued to the screen for the whole show!
I recall a local legend in the Modified class, E.J. Potter with UGLY & DOUBLE UGLY, Allison Aircraft powered contraptions that the announcers would just ridicule to egg on the crowd.
Great memories, thanks for sharing!
Bless’ns to ya, Tedd
Wow Tedd, my opinion of you just went up yet anther notch, you in the Michigan Madman's neck of the woods?
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 Hey thanks Bill, it’s great to know that my respect level rises in relation to my geographic location! Hah!🤦🏻♂️ He hailed from Ithaca, Mi., about a hundred miles to the NorthEast of us.
I never met him, but was always amazed at his Wild machines. Even though I enjoyed those classes, I’m really more of a Super Farm - Super Stock fan though.
I guess I’m just more partial to
machines that are built from “Real Tractors”😉
Bless’ns to ya, Tedd
Imagine if you will going out to the local dragstrip for a nice Sunday afternoon racing and having E. J. Potter showing up with his sideways mounted v8 motorcycle. Kinda makes the old 114 inch shovelhead seems inadequate. Was a great time to be alive.@@sawsurgeon
@@orsonwells7997 Indeed! The Boss Hoss v-8’s got nothing on Ol EJ Potter.
He was the genuine original Michigan MadMan😎💪🏼🇺🇸
Of course “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”!
Man Id love to come hangout with you for a day But... I live in Florida Great stuff Love your Tractor Church
Thanks so much for sharing the video Bill. I'm sure I have seen you pull years ago in Madison Va. I really enjoy your videos .
Thanks Nathan.
