I totally agree with you on these gears. It’s such a subtle change that is hard to see on video but can slightly be felt while driving. I think they could’ve went around 18-20% overdrive and it would’ve been the perfect sweet spot but it’s also nice that these don’t feel like you’re dragging the rear end around all the time so maybe it’s the perfect amount idk? Awesome vid like always! Hope you have a great Christmas!
Thank you so much! Yeah it's just so subtle, but you as a driver definitely notice it at certain spots. For sure there has been times I can see the front end pull the rig up where it would have been stuck before, but without commenting on when that happens a viewer might never notice it. So definitely not an upgrade for everyone, but the competition builders might enjoy it!
I would say you were really notice it on very steep climbs I have overdrive and some 1/10 scale‘s in it really works good just put these in one of mine still have to test it out my gears were a little rough but they cleared up after a few minutes
@@rcrewired1220 yes but then again the one I’m running in my 1/10 is like a 25% overdrive however I definitely think this is a great addition. These are such amazing little trucks. Really digging that custom build you have there
One thing I have noticed on my modded scx24 with over drive gears. when I back up, the suspension slowly raises all the way up. When I go forward it sucks to the ground 🤔. Merry Christmas 🎄 awesome looking c10
Thanks for the sub! I picked up the RC4WD "competition beadlocks" off their website. Couple months back the scx24 wasn't nearly as popular as it is now and you could actually order stuff from RC4WD without always seeing "out of stock" literally everywhere.
@@rcrewired1220 oh yeah! I actually got the racelines on my jeep. I paid 100 for them but the wheels on the c10 are really sweet too. Yeah your deadbolt is something I'd do I really like it
So are these only for the fronts? Why not all 4 wheels to get more speed? I've done 3s and 15t pinion on the furitek komodo system for speed and would love to get an extra little kick but on all 4 wheels preferably
Nice truck and awesome video 🤩
Thanks so much!
Nice! Diggin that micro build man🤙
Thanks! Glad you are enjoying it!

Just installed a set of these last night still have to test them I have another set of think I’m going to put them in my deadbolt I just received
Cool video man 👏 can't wait to slap the OD on my killr chassis build
I'm with you. It may be just a little difference but in the right spot a little difference will get different results.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one feeling this way!
By far this is the coolest scx24 I've ever seen 👍 SUBBED
Dude thank you so much! Stoked you think so
Appreciate you sharing. And a Merry Christmas to you. Love the course, i'll be watching for more
Thank you so much, Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Yeah probably more noticeable on a 1/10 over the 1/24 stuff. Still pretty cool it even exists! I really like it.

Awesome video ! Where’d you get ahold of the duals ? Super cool
I actually made the duallys, there is a "how to" video I made on them!
Where did you get those tires and rims bro?
Where can I find those dually wheels?
You can snag them off shapeways!
