That was a great video, I have a spot near me very similar to that place and the same thing happens when it has been raining the rocks are so much more difficult even with my Trx-4 and 6 it’s hard to get around when it’s just so slippery but it’s great if you do get the climb at the end , keep the videos coming and stay safe mate 🇬🇧
I was trying to think how to fabricate the tractor tires, now I see you have them! Someday, I hope to have the opportunity to buy them! Thanks for the great video's!
Tiny speed boost at the cost of a bit more stress on the drive shafts, transmission and motor as well as a bit more torque twist. Not a big deal if your trail running with it more then crawling though.
Maybe sometime but the rocks where just wet and slimy that day. The over drive up front helps hold the front down and I can always use a scale bungee like a winch to hold the axle up/front end down if I wanted. I’ve done it in comps situations with my 1/10th scales a few times. 👊🙂
@@TJthercGuy yeah I got a 24th with a kit of double barrels and I know what you mean, going up an incline with these double barrels is like watching Cirque du Soleil but with RC cars. I got the overdrive kit because of this video 👍👍
I'm guessing you did the treal overdrive gear. Has anyone tried the hoplex overdrive gear? I bought the hoplex brand one.. I dont know if its actually overdrive or if its just replacements. They are listed as overdrive gear. I'm just not sure and I cant find any videos of anyone doing the hoplex ones.
@@TJthercGuy turns out they are not actually overdrive.. just frickin replacements. They're on Amazon. I didnt pay any attention to to rating or read reviews. I just read the title and it even says best seller 😂 such BS!!! Theres only 2 reviews and both say the same thing lol
So I was looking on Ebay for the treal one and it looks like there might be 2 versions. 1 Looks like it's just the 2 pieces The second treal OD looked more grayish and has 3 little rings..
@@jpyt7182 dang that sucks 😔. I know for sure the Treal gears are actually overdrive gears. The little o rings are meant to be used as shims for the worm gear. I only used 1 on the diff cover side but you don’t have to use them at all. 👊🙂

Thanks glad you enjoyed the video! Heck yeah the wet conditions definitely add a ton of difficulty no matter the scale! 👊😄
I think this is a must with the double-barrel shock mod. Helps to lower the center of gravity and settle the rig.
For sure they are great on the right setup and stock springs. 👊🙂
rain will help you stick to carpet
Really like your reviews on the 24 scale I have purchased parts after watching your videos and I have been happy with everything thank you
Right on thanks so much. I try to do the best with what I have to for your all and if something fails you all will know about it for sure. 👊🙂

Right on thank you so much for the supporting happy holidays!🍻👊😊
What would happen if you installed t13 gears in front and rear..?

You should try the rubber band mod on either just the front or both the front and back. Doesn't limit travel if they're weak enough bands

Yeah it’s the treal over drive gears in mine and no idea I’ve never heard of the hoplex one. 🤔

@@TJthercGuy I just finished watching your install video 😂. I was just going to ask if you checked on it since than lol
Some pretty solid urban rc rock crawling here, cool and fun video, cheers TJ 😎👍
Dude I need those for my bouncer man
With them other tires you definitely need loose dirt, sand, or mud. Don't know.. might look good on the Jeep too, but not the C10 - my opinion.
The mud tires yeah definitely not for rocks that for sure. Mt. Hobbies is working on a smaller set for the c10 to. 👊🙂
Awesome broo 😃😃😁
You got that one guy stalking you, and giving you a thumbs down every time now...
Which means you're in the big leagues now buddy! Hehehe ;)
I know Right oh well they are still helping the channel grow. I know it’s not the greatest comparison but I can’t control the weather. 👊😂
