This game has two (2) main aspects that impress people. 1. The environmental effects are good, but more importantly 2. The way the player holds his weapon. No other game has this much dynamic movement in the way the weapon moves on screen in first person.
Well, unless you play in VR. This is extremely impressive and much more accessible for most people for sure.
It's like red orchestra 2/rising storm but amplified.

Honestly the more I watch the video the more this game just continues to be awesome, with group lobbies this game can DEFINITELY turn into a very niche hyper-realistic SWAT-ish tactical shooter, I honestly can't imagine something more than clearing a house against another actual player team with my friends.
The idea for VR support and the possible recent VR injector make this game's base potential just explode exponentially, beyond even the idea of a tactical shooter

A bunch of useless hype. What exactly makes this game so HYPERREALISTIC? the only thing this game has going is a bodycam effect. and that´s really nothing hard to do. the rest is just normal fps game mechanics. Especially in VR when you dont use the bodycam anymore the rest becomes just like any other shooter. The whole feeling created by this game is done by the handicap the bodycam gives you. That´s all there is to it. Pointless in flat even more pointless in VR

But yeah, it being in vr would remove that mechanic, making it a generic fps. Pointless.

I like that the light from the flashlight actually bounces around the walls rather than only the light that’s pointed
When people say that finals is a breath of fresh air to the fps genre I can't really see why, but this, this I can see how would be considered that.
A hostage rescue mode, or a extraction mode would be huge things to the gameplay of this game. I can imagine the way these type of modes force ppl to funnel in to fights, making this game feel even more scary to play.
They should make an FPV drone course that you can only see after death just for giggles.

My brain can’t even process how a computer can handle something like this, whilst I sit here staring at my laptop that’s been frozen in blender for the last five minutes because I changed the colour of a cube 😂
the map is 100% static seems like, lightning and everything
its all just illusions, remove the filters and the game will actually look manageable again, it quite neat.
From my ubderstanding, such fidelity is achieved by many modern games. The realism here comes not so much from the tech, but the artistry of the dev - the movement and the imitation of bodycam visual artifacts
I'm not 100% sure, but I swear this map looks identical to one in Ground Branch. I think it's called "rundown" or something similar? I don't know if it's 1 for 1, but it certainly seems like it.
That house map also looks really uncannily similar to a map mod for Ready or Not called Forest House(?) Having not played this game myself I am still not 100% sure of plagiarism, but it should be looked at.
I think these are unreal engine map templates and they each slightly altered them.
It's pretty similar if not the exact same layout. Hopefully the devs in this game create more of their own assets.

I just watched some airsoft videos before clicking on this one and holy smokes does it look realistic. It almost looks like the GoPro footage I just saw but with real guns and a bit more perfectionism

The way the ragdolls work in this game is amazing, the most realistic I've seen.

i think they need to standardize the firing sounds for the weapons, some of them sound super loud and powerful, and some of them sound like PUBG or COD lol.
This game definitely needs a search and destroy game mode with bigger maps. This is absolutely insane and I love it

I wish they added a vs bot mode, i haven't played a shooter in a while so it would be good to add it to people who are rusty in a shooter.
Why? Fighting players is much more engaging. Also bots wouldn’t be able to have the same gunplay as a human so it would be odd.

I know it's physically simulated, but the aiming is super awkward and I hope they fix this without compromising procedural animation too much.

I think if it had more immersive gun sounds it would be even better, just deafening booms echoing throughout the map. Maybe your players hearing would degrade the more gunfire you are directly exposed to over the course of a match or something.

A “Tarkov” mode would be an entire game. This gunplay in Tarkov would be cool.

Ok after watching more im starting to see what is so off with the gunplay. When he walks the front of the gun remains more static and the butt stock is just floating around. It would be the other way around. The stock is shouldered and cannot move but the front of the gun would wander depending on if the shooter knew what he was doing. This just looks so unnatural and wrong. It looks exactly like when someone plays a VR fps game with no gun stock on their controller. There is nothing to plant the butt of the gun. This needs work.
Looks sick and very different than normal games imo. Probably gets tiring to play very fast though.

Let´s be honest the bodycam effect is the only selliong point here. there is nothing special to it except handicapping your actions to an insane amount that´s beyond unrealistic compared to real life. People who think this is "realistic" or "immersive" have obviously never hold a gun before.
I mean if you were to strap on a bodycam in real life, not to your helmet but somehwer on your bodyvest so it shakes even more, then blindfold yourself then try to look through your bodycam to actually shoot then hooray that´s how this game feels. Utter bs.
It might be fun as a gimmick shooter but it is by far not realistic or anything.
Visibility so poor just like being in an airsoft skirmish wearing goggles.

My genuine reaction when someone makes a game that isn’t call of duty
I feel motion sick just watching it. All it is, is a UE5 map from the asset store with a crappy player controller that looks immersive, with helmet cam effect that has been replicated in virtually every game/engine
another great game ruined by overly complicated aiming, aiming a weapon irl isn't even 1/10th as difficult as made out in this game, i dont see the point of making it so bad
Graphics are cool but the gun is way too bobbly for me. Looks agitating. Its like playing QWOP or EXANIMA. Feel like I'd be aiming at an opponent like "no, shoot that way. Dont aim the gun up and to the right. Why are you holding it down by my belly button now?" I get its supposed to look real but they need to reign that in. If you watch spec ops training they arent bouncing around pointing their gun at the floor one second then the ceiling the next.
Looks really cool and innovative. Give them a chance. Nobody wants the same old FPS game.
