And speaking of prices, I never wrote how grateful I am that you don't 'hawk' yourself, products, ko-fi, your channel, and all the other things 'influencers' do to support their narcissistic habits. You have a RL job but are still dedicated to us. Thank you from the bottom of my poor heart to your wonderful heart. There are still SOME things we Americans can be grateful for in these black, hopeless days. ~ Joy
Thank you Christine and that bird is amazing, you have done a really great job on him/her. I love bead embroidery and have done it for years it's great fun. I use Nymo thread to bead on fabric so if you see any on your art truck grab it,it's a bit stronger especially for bugle beads that have sharp ends, you did the right thing in going through the beads twice and couching them bit of extra security. Really more essential if you are going to wear it. I beaded my friends wedding dress, I can't tell you how many pearls and bugle beads we sewed on. It was the 80's so think meringue.😂😂
Thanks for the great tip on the Nymo thread - I’ll keep an eye out. You must have had a lot of patience to bead the wedding dress. Would love to see photos if you still have them handy 🤗 cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
That looks fabulous Christine, definitely a successful experiment! Definitely inspired to use some of my bead stash in my slow stitching projects - love it when hobbies come together like this. All looks so good. Glad I'm not the only one who stays up stitching into the wee small hours! :)
I think you bird is going to be just beautiful! I live in the states and I have the exact fabric. It's made by David Textiles if any one wants to purchase it. I think it's still on Walmarts website.
I love how delicate and arty the beading work looks. The layering of the colours works so well. (I’m glad that scoopy technique works! I’ve been tempted to get a bead spinner to make that process easier, but I think that would be best for a much bigger project! 🤣)
If you like you can put several beads go through the fabric and then go back up and through 2 beads and go down and go back up and go through the next 2 beads and so on to the end. Then you can add more on to the row because you are coming out of the last bead to keep it continuing straight. Or you can do like you are doing. Hope this makes sense and helps you. Looks great
Sorry forgot you go back up through one of the last beads you made the second pass and then go through 2 more beads and down and repeat along. I hope I am not confusing you.

If you place a few of the beads on a plain cotton flannel, you will find they are easy to pick up and won't roll away from the needle
Great tip - thanks so much. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
