I love trying to push the devices I own to their limit in terms of what's possible, and this made me realize that I have quite a long way to go with the Syntakt. Nice work! I especially liked the dial-up modem sounds ☎
Looking forward to watching all of this, so far I am impressed with some of those noise textures. I wasn't able to figure out how to do that at first. Hopefully you give us some tips.
Let me know how you find it 🙏 I kinda stumbled on these when I was writing the plan for expert Syntakt course and I as messing with certain LFO’s and parameters and started landing on sounds that reminded me of vinyl etc. then I got a little carried away and made a full pack! Been using em in my own stuff lately and it just adds an extra layer and glue really well 🙏
@@jamesorvis_mixhackers Very good, great sounds and great demonstration of how these sounds bring it all together, it was a solid groove. I will become a patron in a couple months once i finish paying for this stupid broken car! Thanks
So cool James !Thank you ! If you can do a full tutorial about how to make techno from scratch to finish and how to not stuck in a loop of 1 pattern on the Syntakt, it's Will to be wonderfull ! Thanks and more stuff like that !!!
I will do :) I did some start to finish masterclasses on the expert Syntakt course on my site and planning to add more to the course like a melodic techno one and maybe some more techno too!
@@jamesorvis_mixhackersYes I have all your lessons on Syntakt. I am the French guy who asked you to put your videos on RUclips for me of your lessons for Syntakt to have the subtitles (Clemuyen on MESSENGER). Thanks again for that Besides ! it helped me a lot! I still have to manage to get out of my loop, make my pieces evolve and organize the patterns for a Live with good transitions. If you can help with that in a future video! Thanks to you !
You e gained a follower. I’ve flip flopped between this thing (owned a year or so previously) and my AR2/A42 combo and this is a small reason why - ease of administration on ST vs those other two. Already have other samplers..
Great work James!! Saw the video, bought the pack.. Was wondering ,, i looked into your Syntakt intro course. Are the paid for courses more in keeping with your musical style?? Hope so Cheers
THIS is how you demo a preset pack!!! Excellent work. Got a new subscriber! Love you other videos too! Going to d/l the full pack.

Thanks for the sub welcome! 🙏 I often go on and off the Syntakt but when I do give it some attention it gives back ❤️
Thank you for these amazing tips! On your website, are your syntakt master courses translated? ( maybe on private RUclips videos ? )
Not yet, but I am looking into embedding translation very soon

I do feature a lot of my style in the Syntakt course series and there’s an electro, melodic techno and techno classes in part 3
Great definitely interested in the electro side of things.. I’ll look into it.
After the holidays
