Sysex Files gives you access to all the Patterns I used in this EP. You can dig deep and tweak them to your liking! There are 16 Patterns in total which you can upload to your very on Syntakt!
Stem Recordings will allow you to remix or make totally new songs with them. And it's a great source of Syntakt samples :) Each song has 14 tracks of Stem files = 12 Audio tracks + Analog FX track + Reverb & Delay Track.
The Explanation Video goes through how I composed & recorded these songs, my approach to performing and my general view on the Syntakt. The runtime of the video around 30 minutes.

Everyone else’s demos sound like absolute trash. EZ-Bot would be the only exception. The synthfluencers actually stopped me from buying one of these.

Really! Day one syntuber made me regret buying too fast but this vid confirm that its awesome.

@@matstjean Agreed, but Basek ALWAYS sounds like Basek, which is impressive, but not so great at showcasing versatility. Cenk pulled out a lot of heavy percussion and melody… even more important, some emotion. But again, yes, Basek definitely tore it up!
@@ryanhursh6322 There are enough good jams, if you don't like them, it doesn't mean they are trash. Try to make one yourself with what you have instead of depreciating other people's content.

I am loving this old school 90’s left field techno aesthetic used to present this device. Like many others said, a lot of the videos don’t really showcase the musicality of the product. Too many synthtubers are very clearly paid to sell the product and don’t do a very good job… thanks Cenk for delivering something far more interesting! In the end it’s about making actual music.

Excelent as always! Man... You are my inspiration and made me dream of the Octatrack for the first time as a teenager (like an unattainable dream). Now I have an OT and DT on my table and make music on these beautiful machines. It took a lot of sacrifices, as these are not cheap machines, but you started it and it was worth it.

Don't worry Cenk, at first all Elektron boxes seem to be complicated, but with time and practice, you will get the hang of it 😂

Having 2 elektron lfos to play with on each track or sounds... It makes it a different beast than the Rtym, & more so Model Cycles. Great to hear someone making it shine as a groove box... It's not just aimed at being a good drum synth? It's a damn fine groovebox... I hope we get a 3rd lfo from Elektrons like these in future upgrades.

I think it sounds like an analog four had a bad relationship with a machinedrum and had this little fella. Is nowhere near the boom of rytm I think this is lean towards more minimal techno and hypnotic deep 2006-2012 electro techno berghain style. But I am all about bad relationships and I am getting me one tomorrow 😂
This video is the best answer to all those who are wondering if it is worth buying syntakt and what it can do. .. and then thank you for these contents (sysex, stems and of course your music) ❤️

Yes i wrote my own view about the syntakt on elektronauts! Overall its a good machine, nice to have these good soundsources from the good old past in 1 box. However, it doesn't really offer anything new to existing users. Its same sound sources from rytm n cycles, same sequencer, same hardware as digitakt etc.. Lack of arp n polyphony is obviously there. i had fun making these songs but, as a long time elektron user this doesn't feel innovative at all. :)
@@MrDataline I guess the delays can cheat with arpeggio changes. That’s why the digitone is the unique one I guess. The voice stealing is a bitch. But when drums are monotoned on 1 track it frees up 6 to 7 Notes for the other 3 tracks Depending how complex the drums are. But then on this beast a major chord can be locked to a minor then there’s the chord scaling to Lock so yeah. I’d love this box for sure. No voice stealing makes these set pad chords really powerful . Everything Elektron has done is amazing. This needs to celebrate everything they’ve done to make it fun for newcomers who only can afford one box. This is a little pricey but it will soon go down.

Also, one question, when comparing the syntakt w the A4 mk1 and machinedrum, do you think it's able reproduce most that you can do with the previous elektron machines? Would you choose the syntakt between those 3?

Thanks! Very glad to hear you enjoy it! Hmm A4 and machinedrum are much more capable when it comes to sound design, syntakt is more of a "simplified" and "remixed" version of previous elektron boxes. It doesn't offer the depth in sound design when compared to A4, Machinedrum, digitone, rytm etc.. In return, with its simpler approach, it can be said that its a good elektron beginner's box.
I wouldn't choose syntakt over other elektron boxes. This is an objective thing of course. I prefer deeper machines which grow on you over time. Syntakt became quite stale for me after finishing this release. But overall, syntakt has nice sound sources from the past and the elektron seq is great as ever - so its a very capable machine nevertheless!

Good demo but I’d rather hear your views and opinion on it? The sounds are indeed familiar almost those from the cycles and RYTM but perhaps a review would be nice and your opinion?

@@MrDataline I noticed it also doesn’t have a proper song mode either. I have the monomachine, Octatrack and digitone. I’m still on the fence whether to order one or not. It’s good to see your honesty. Personally, I think Elektron missed the mark with this new device. It’s more like a “greatest hits” device. Let’s just hope in future, Elektron will be more innovative with the next device. I may buy the syntakt in the end just for my GAS ( Gear Accumulative Syndrome )😃 love your work Cenk😎👍

It's funny to see this masterclass in parallel with forum topics and veterans who say that syntakt is inferior to this or that Elektron older machines for this or that reason. Most experts aren't able to deliver a set like that even with 5 machines linked...

Yea! There is no arp on the syntakt which is a shame... Could have really be useful in this machine. I programmed the melodies in, with using OP1 as a midi keyboard :)
