i don't know if it was already asked by community but something cool would be possibility to have internal rooting midi tracks to regular tracks. i mean right now on DT or ST we have to use a midi cable from physical MIDI OUT port plugged into physical MIDI IN port to use MIDI channels controling regular channels, it would be so nice to have this but rooted direcly inside the device so no midi cable needed and physical midi ports can be used for other gears. ;)
Really wanting to hear if this syntakt can get glitchy, annoying, and noisey. The traditional sounds and tracks from everyone have been nice but I’m not hearing a lot of material that’s really out there sonically.
Nice! Anyone know if there is a back button type of function like on the cycles? Not just func/yes (save) func/no (reload). I liked messing w parameters and then being able to hit back rq and resetting. THANKS
you can hit page (like the filt, amp, syn or lfo) and then NO to reset the page to it's default settings, i showed that at the end of the random section, but other than that and the func-yes-func-no trick i'm not aware of any others atm!
i'm not sure what you mean by key stack in this instance? do ya mean track ? - because i have not found a way to correlate note to lfo params YET ! - other than the assignable macros for pitchbend and mod wheel
out of all Elektron devices (as far as I’m aware) the only one that has that is the Analog Four, which was their roundabout way of giving it FM capability after the fact, so while it’s possible in theory that they could do the same for the ST, there’s no guarantee they will
I suppose if it had multimap like the Digitone you could put the same patch on every key of the keyboard, but saved separately so that the patch for each key has a different LFO speed… but would be an absolute bitch to set up, let alone tune each one to a musically “correct” frequency!
Hmm… I was really hoping to use Midi loopback to fake a “song mode”, but now I’m worried that it’ll freeze up in the middle of a set! 🥶 Also, hey… didn’t I just see you in a Perfect Circuit video!?
Grab one and support the channel : bit.ly/3z4imb8
This is the most useful Syntakt video I've seen and I'm only half way through. Can't wait to try some of these ideas - subbed 👍
3:27 that sound is so sick! its like a bouncing ball trigger in modular. I totally recreated it on my syntakt, thanks!
The possibilities of this little box continue to amaze me: the MIDI "hack" is ace
Your voice reminds me of this guy that works for perfect circuit.
Thanks for the Syntaktips! Excited for your channel mate.
So helpful! Hope you keep doing this series
Do that randomize thing on digitone all the time, killer feature on the digi boxes.
Cool, thanks. You can use the E encoder instead of the left/righ arrows to set the filter key tracking and such. And press it. It’s way quicker ;)
this! is very good info! thank you!!!
any encoder works for it i think
Thanks been waiting for a good tips and tricks video since I got my syntakt
I dig your style dude, keep on grooving!
Just bought one of these and i loooove your video big up bro🙌🔥
Fab video mate and some fantastic tips! That key tracking one with the filter pings especially, gonna have some fun with that now, nice one! 😃👍
have fun friend!

Really helpful and fun -thanks for doing this!
Great video, Wes ❤ You excel both in content and deliverance*
(*those who know, know - not many, probably)
Just play with the randomize since 24hrs, thanks for your stuff.
every synth ! ! needs ! ! a random ! ! glad you're enjoying it
Hilarious! Might've sold me a syntakt - finally. Subscribed too!
Great tips! Well done.
Nice one! Dig your videos! Now....off to find a donut! 😁👊
hell yeah get some sprinkles on there while ya at it ;)
patiently awaiting my royalty for every time you say "syntaktics"
You’re being paid in knowledge

Catenation has posted some really noisy stuff. If by “noisy” you mean distorted.
nice video! can you please make a tutorial of the sound at 16:37 and other eurorack style blip blop sounds? thanks!

@@soffter thx 🙏
pretty cool, dude
pretty lol, dude. v cool sounds, too. good, exploratory fun
Hey thanks man :)
That Growler patch sounds so good! When you set the filter keytracking does it apply to every track, or just the track your on?
track ur on
@@chrishof3917 Thanks!
Can the LFOs key stack?
Thanks for the fun video.

@@soffter Oops! I mean key track. Like the rate and/or depth changes with the note played.

I feel like an idiot for not knowing about the randomizer...

ahhh they might fix it still hahah, and yeah, I do be over there too
Gotta crash your gear or your just not pushing the envelope
First video i see that showed overbridge quit completly !!!
16:29 - is there a way You could show us how You've made this sound?! :o
the opposite of those no talking videos ...! Can't say I like it better :P
Why are you talking to us like baby’s it’s so off putting

also off-putting has a hyphen in it.
thank you for your comment.
@@soffter Grammar Police in da house ❤ And yes, I love you for this comment. It’s exactly what I thought, too.
Like baby’s what?
Never use randomise.. Never ever.. Make music, compose..
aye never say never ;)
