I JUST got this error after updating to the new firmware. I'm wondering if there's an issue there? I'll look in to that EMMC module you ordered. Please do an install video when you get it.
Seems like an overheating issue when that error pops out. The toolhead board is likely getting way too hot with the enclosure. I run an open toolhead with the tsunami shroud on printables. Give it a go and see if it fixes the error. I didnt update to the new firmware. No issues yet with any of these errors with my sv08
I got the same error with the earlier firmware as well, but it's true that it was too with the enclosure. Printing PLA though, shouldn't be that hot. It's 16°C in my printing room and enclosure doors / top is open for PLA. So you suggest adding a toolhead board cooling fan? I have the fan and can try printing it. THanks for the tip!
@@gerGoPrint3D yes theres toolhead shrouds in printables with a big hole for a fan to cooldown the mcu. The nature of the sv08 inclosure and the closed toolboard compound to shutdown due to heat. I dont have an enclosure and i run a naked style shroud who has also better cooling. Printed it from petg because i dont print abs. Holding up. Printed it with 2 walls no infill. 18 grams
Yeah you got this error also. Iam nerly unable too pront in Vase mode now. The error comes permanently. I think its smth. within the mainsail and the camera. But dunno whag ro change there.
Have you tried disabling timelapse or even unplugging the camera? Afaik this error can mean the board is overloaded and could not react to something on time. In my case I am suspecting read or write times on the emmc get delayed and that is the cause. Memory cards can go bad like that. But it's frustrating not to be able to trust the printer to complete a job correctly. I am in talks with Sovol too, hopefully we work out a fix that will benefit the whole community.
Oh NO! Not a scary SV08 error message! 😲 Is your SV08's MCU intermittently overheating? I did some online research and there are a few possible causes. I've never had the problem but I keep it simple. My SV08 camera is now working and it does send low frame rate video via Mainsail for remote monitoring even though my SV08 is an arm's length to my right, but I don't make time lapse videos while printing. It's great seeing you and your nephew collaborating on various maker projects. Geeking is more fun when shared. Please tell Levy that in the United States, his name is popular and it's pronounced LEE-vie instead of lev-EE. 😀 My SV08 3D printed enclosure project continues. I think I might retire on that project. 🙂 I'm making progress. The design for the two sides should conclude today. Then the back and the front door. More light gray PLA is coming. I'm starting to think I should have just printed the parts from all of the partial spools of random colors I have cluttering my office.
Thank you! Yes it's funny because his nick name is "Levi" with an "i" like the brand, so all the Levi's merch looks like personalized stuff on him. I am very curious how your enclosure will turn out. Its thermal insulation will surely be better than the metal panels of the "official".
