    Thank you for speaking English slowly, so that it can be understood even for non-native speakers. Congratulations on the clear and comprehensive in-depth explanations

    Superb. All the other tutorials I've watched have gone too fast for a beginner to follow, and most of the people watching tutorials ARE beginners. You're the only video maker on RUclips who seems to understand that. The others erroneously presume knowledge and familiarity that we don't yet have. I hugely appreciate the way you say "Now hit ENTER" every time you actually hit ENTER.
    If RUclips had star ratings, this tutorial would earn 5 stars!

    Who knew that i'll find a great littlenavmap tutorial and also route planning guide in this g1000 nxi video! i'm new to msfs so all these are really useful information, thank you!

      There are some things that appear different in my littlenavmap. E.G. rwy04 in LDZA shows as 05 in littlenavmap. SIRM2E shows as SIRM1E in littlenavmap. Is there something I need to load in the application before using it? Only loaded scenery library and that's all there was for the initial startup guide.

    Wish I had found your mini series a month ago. Would have save me many many hours of trying to figure out how and where people were getting their data for a flight plan. Plenty of videos on how to enter the info, but they didn’t often share how they got the data that they were entering. Makes it very difficult for new ones. You were very clear and detailed just enough to put together a flight plan.

    in a way, I followed along with you while you were setting up the flight plan.. but was working with the world map in msfs itself.. was able to also set up the full flight plan with departures and arrivals as you did in the video, on that page of the program, and when I jumped into the da62 in game, it was preloaded.. so might not be critical to use the third party sites if folks are willing to spend the time on the main map in game. but, doing it from the cockpit is so very valuable :) have been a few flights I was at a loss until I got a bit more comfortable with it. Love the vids, and am learning from them, so thank you.

      Third party sites are important, for creating route.

    Really great video series. Im new to the flight sim world….only 6 weeks now. From my perspective, as a newbie, SimBrief and NaviGraph are extremely beneficial. If one wants MSFS to be more than a simple game, and are interested in learning how to create actual flight plans, SIDs, STARs, Approaches etc etc, then the minimal monthly cost for NaviGraph is worth it.

    • @FlyOverGames
      @FlyOverGames  Год назад +1

      Yes, that is the most essential tool, actually, I am planning a new updated video for Simbrief, Navigraph, and G1000, very soon.

    Awesome video. That is the best Garmin tutorial available. One thing I would like to bring up is a little quirk on the FMS button. I was stumped at trying to get the blue area to activate by clicking on the inner knob, it just wouldnt do anything, and then by accident (or frustration) i left and right clicked on it and presto it worked. Not sure if its a setting somewhere I have to change, but it works okay like that. Thanks again, im really enjoying the Baron, I just wish the King Air had better system than the half baked one theyve used. Cheers.👍

    • @FlyOverGames
      @FlyOverGames  2 года назад +1

      Yes, export from LNM and save to any folder, then from MSFS map menu load that flight plan file and it will be already loaded in the Garmin when you start the flight.

    Thank you very mutch. Once you have made a flightplan on the G1000Nxi, is het possible to save it on your harddisk for later use? thanks for a reply :-)

    • @FlyOverGames
      @FlyOverGames  Год назад +1

      You can't save, but you can make a plan in an external program like Littlenavmap or Navigraph, import it into MSFS to use with G1000, and save it for future use.
