I think you're missing out on the #1 best possible level 1 power gaming build: the level 1 commander.
Impoverished Noble

This gives 6 starting leadership, more than enough to finish the campaign with no investment in charisma at all. Read the leadership book asap as there is no reason not to. You can field huge armies extremely early without getting overwhelmed by the costs.
Edit: I forgot to mention, this also starts you off with 4 acres of land in whatever area you start in, which can be invaluable for selling to purchase starting equipment or keeping to jump start your economy.
Awesome build, my man.
this start is insane, u can easily get 30 int and zoom on map with unkillable army
Can you explain on what you do in the early game with this build, or is it just the same as the video?
The way you nailed the pronunciation of the names of the troops are astounding
I'm glad! :)
My cousin was on heroin and he used to get so mad when I would tell people when he would come with me to a party, but I think it’s important to be honest about where you are in life. I think that we shouldn’t think we’re better or worse off, but we should definitely recognize when we need help or just good advice or something. I don’t know in my college. We did a lot of peer review. People in which everyone reads your papers and you all work together to make a better and a lot of people had trouble dealing with the criticism.
Also, one more thing I was in the most Democratic major in the country or at least it was during like the Vietnam war is it’s like a communist, major called social thought and political economy, which is basically like the major that Mark studied. We had a workshop like he would have a masculinity workshop or something and not one kid except for me. I’m the only kid in the whole major that wasn’t scared to go to it, I definitely cried like a baby, but I just think it’s cowardly for progressive people not to put their money where their mouth is and the hypocrisy Star Wars is killing me
This is by far the best Floris guide. Very well structured, very well presented. Very nice job!
Thank you! I tried my best.
Still love it and come back to it since I forget the builds and companions that work together, much love brother
Glad to see that these guides still help people ;D
This is literally like a college course on how to play floris!! Well done sir!
I've found that recruiting prisoners via the camp menu is an amazing source of tier 7 troops. I currently have around 50 max-level troops in my 300-size party from doing just this. I recommend having as many prisoners as possible, but of only a few types. This is because whenever you succeed to recruit prisoners, you will always get all of one troop type. Use manhunters (cus they use blunt weapons) and a blunt weapon. Whenever you see a tier 7 troop in the enemy army during a battle, try to knock it out yourself so it doesn't get killed by your non-manhunter troops.
I just recently got into warband (I know bannerlord released but got a crappy PC) and just started playing mods yesterday, heard Floris is a good mod to play but once I got in I found it very confusing. I watched your full guide and damn it is good. Thanks for helping me understand the game and also the guide is pretty entertaining at times. Again thanks a lot!
You think you got late to the party. I'm 4 months behind you. Also, excellent guide, thank you.
Thanks to your guide I conquered every castle and town in the game in just 479 days on the hardest difficulty, love your work and thanks a lot!
Welp sire, I usually just go by, watch the video and leave, but you deserve mi like and suscription. You made an awesome guide and, even if it isn't perfect, you put a lot of effort on it, contrary to most guides of Warband. Great video, this 2 hours weren't wasted at all.
Thank you, good sir! I appreciate it!

He also pronounces Viking with a V, that's a +1 in my book.
@@youtubeplayer5428 Thank you for the +1 :D
İ have been playing M&B for a long loong time but i wasnt able to beat the game until i found your guides. İ enjoy the game more and i already beat the floris mod twice. Keep up the good work thanks for your effort!
The best cavalry in the game is actually the Slaver Chief, hands down. Rides an elephant, and stats are OP, plus you capture the enemies defeated for lots of money. I've found them easier to level up to than the Baron Mineures. 2nd best is the Swadian Lancer. They carry Morningstars and act just like a vanilla Swandian Knight. The Morningstar's pierce damage will wreck enemy heavy armor.
Yeah there seems to be little to no reason to not simply just run around with 40+ manhunters and companions on mounts with blunt weapons in the early game, with the "a slave trader" trait so you also get +3 prisoner management from the start. With 40+ manhunters or the other tiers you also get +3 prisoner management, which means you can hold 30 prisoners, 30 standard bandits will give you nearly 4k a batch if I remember correctly. Very easy to level up quickly and get enough money for a few enterprises before you pledge for someone.

Fantastically detailed guide! Thank you.
You forgot to mention how tough mountain bandits are. The swadian army I joined kept being defeated by rodonk and mountain bandits.
Crossbow are just broken in this game, mountain bandits are using 56 piercing damage crossbow.
The desert bandits are quite hard to defeat as well without cavalry
though they have light armour, they are extremely fast and maneuverable.
And they just constantly do hit and run and are usually in large numbers.
yeah, I do have a lot of waiting in my bag to watch your two and four hours guides xD
You can just watch the topic that you are interested in. Check out the topics list in the description of the video. You don't have to watch everything.
When I started playing this mod, I decided to go with a leadership 6 character right off the bat. Just because I wanted to.
a little tip that i find helpful is that, if you are in need of alot of elite troops very quick, but you dont have the time,
go find the mountain bandit or forest bandit heroes stacks, go check their prisoners they have. They usually have hundreds of prisoners, some of which are actually tier 7 troops, also of course a lot of tier 6 and tier 5 too, from the lords they defeated with their stacks. Dont be discouraged by their numbers, in the late game when you are king and have more than 200 troops, they are snacks and sharpener for exp mines for your troops and they will run from you too. Just defeat them, you might lose some troops, but you will get tons of elite troops from the prisoners and free and quick.
Sounds good :D Thx for the tip
i think the highest difficulty is 111 percent, with the control block by mouse movement and the lowest difficulty is when the army size is the smallest too
@@JoshForFun You guys know that I prefer a sweet spot. Not too easy, but not too hard, but each can play how they feel comfortable. I don't judge.

Been looking for a guide like this, Floris is a pretty hard nut to crack lol. Found something better than what I could've hoped for, thanks dude!

Well done it's a shame that you didn't get more like, u deserve a lot more keep up the good work. Thank-you
Awesome! I haven't played Floris in a while... I like to to combine C7 Rhodok with A7 Vaegir. Protect them with I7 nords, and just tell the archers to Volley Fire. Sit back, and drink your coffee.
I think you wanted to say I7 Rhodoks. They don't have tier 7 cavalry :D
Never mind, you meant the Crossbowmen. I'm tired...
Yeah sorry about the misunderstanding... A7 Rhodok Crossbowmen.
I used to love Blitzkrieg cavalry tactics, but lately I love playing more defensively, with archers behind a shield wall hahaha
@St. Petersberg Anything above tier 5 requires quite a lot of experience. Simply invest into trainer with as many companions as possible and they will grow in time. Be aware that trainer helps only with troops lower level than your character or your companions. So let's say that you are lvl 20, and your tier 5 troop is lvl 25. Your trainer skill will only affect him after you reach lvl 26. In the end, you just gotta have patience and keep kicking ass.
I have over 500 hours on Floris. I learn a couple of things, thank you. I think you might be wrong on the landowners, the amount of money you get it's so broken, I remembering in having a million in not many days. Pauleh let's play showed the same thing, he was not very efficient, but the series had some charm.
Regarding the Landowners, it takes a lot of time and money to invest in Land, and to receive the benefit of your investment, you need to be present there every two weeks. I can't be all over the world all at once and you simply don't need that large amount of money . At one point you will have too much money to know what to do with it. The idea of getting enterprises and investing in land is to fund your late game military campaigns. It is nice to have a shit-ton of money, but you need to know when to stop. I found that just having enterprises everywhere and investing into land in your capital is enough. Each with their own preference thou :)
You are correct I had so much money that run was boring.
5 yrs late but can you teach me how you get a million? Conquering the world through money is just my jam
This is just what i was looking for. Gj!
Thanks a lot for the guide. I just find this game few days ago.. and hell its really hard. Thanks again this really help me.
dude this is fckn great, i love this guide thank u so much, it is a lot of help,it is noticeable that u put a lot of effort on this, greetings man!
wow great tips very thorough and thoughtful
Hi, just to thank you for making this guide (very helpful). Well done.
No problem dude.
You are so positive, good sir. Very nice
Incredible job, your guide was awesome.
Great guide. When i tried world conquer i joined the butter king army util i was tier 7 and desesrted (by this point the swadians were on their las castle). Then i spent an ingame year buying all the land. This gave me infinite money but the factions were a mess and all the lords scrambled. When i was trying to wipe out the nords i executed Ragnar to see what happend, and i gained a long list of nord enemies. I then went guillotine crazy and executed all my enemies, this did weaken the nords, but it also gave me enemies in every faction from the families of the lords i killed which were scrambled through every faction. At that point my kingdom was not strong enough for constant war and decided to abandon that save.
TL;DR
Took my time and messed up the power balance, then proceeded to make dozens of enemies everywere half ruining my playthrough.
PD: I play on hardest, you get used to it. Then everything below that just seems too easy
Indeed. Executing lords is ill advised.
I have a pretty good amount of those schildmaids and they're really good! Destroys everything
Very good guide! Thanks a lot for making this. I got really tilted at the part where you refused to believe the guy about the elephants though but glad you got it sorted out lol. Also regarding the elephants, you can actually just order them to dismount rather than having to wait for one Chief to die. Really fun to do if you somehow have 6 riding skill for whatever fucking reason.
Sorry for tilting you. Please understand that this is the internet. I can't go on believing one guy about something that I've never seen before. When he mentioned that you can have elephants, I thought he meant in your inventory on the world map, permanently. (text based communication requires much more context).
Afterwards, he explained that you can mount them in combat only with the mentioned conditions.
Anyway, hope the guide is helpful and I wish you an awesome day! :D
@@HitPointInnGaming Yeah it was completely understandable because I assume its not even intended anyway. But since I happened to know about the interaction beforehand by luck I was yelling at the screen for you to listen to him :D
very well made guide. nice job
Thank you! :D
would you recommend going around and picking up companions that you're not intending to keep around due to personality conflicts to boost your right to rule?
Yes. Just gather all of them, send them to gather RTR and then just chose who to keep.
+"I migth not be able to win this battle."
-ÆEÖÜĞHH!
+"yep."
That made me chuckle.
Awesome !
If you enlist in a lord's army you can put your gear into a companion's inventory and then retire. You get to keep the relations and the gear!
That sounds like an interesting exploit.
@@HitPointInnGaming yep
Best enlistment lord is the kings, hands down. Forget any other lord. Also make sure you go into tournaments.
Why is enlisting with kings the best way to go?
@@HitPointInnGaming a few simple reasons. They have the largest armies and never cower from fighting. Their fiefs are capital cities with tournaments that can earn you lots of gold for real estate and an enterprise (provided you go lance horse and sword and small point bets) and they are always present at sieges, and those grant positive relations with all lords involved in that victory as well as the king himself. Make sure you talk to them afterwards for more relations. Also you getting a fief as a lord depends more on whether the king likes you or not than the other lords as he has final say.
@@Oryxification But, isn't the king slow on the world map and can't catch the enemy properly? Won't that make him be out of combat for a long time and make you lose money in the process?
Damn i wish i could pronounce the Rhodok unit names as good as you😂
You're the best youtuber!
great video, gj dude ;)
Great job!Thank you very much!
How do you avoid the issue of every other vassal getting -2 relations when you grant a fief? It's a big problem for me.
You give them fiefs, you help them in battle, you feast.
@Jackal Korrie Welp, you won't have problems with vassals until they are at -40 relations. Afterwards, indict them for treason and give the fiefs to new vassals.
Thank you very much!
Great guide, really helped me get back into floris. Do you have any suggestions for what to do in the early stages of kingship?
I was able to seize wercheg and defeat a giant nord doomstack of 1300 and peace, but I am having a hard time expanding beyond a few castles and still just have 4 lords. Do I just wait it out until more lords come to court (99 right to rule)?
PS: now that I cant freely raid without major consequences, also not as rich as I was in my vassal days. Not sure how to keep my momentum
@@Phishyification Hopefully you've built enterprises everywhere before making your faction. Also buy land and collect money from it every 2 weeks in your capital. Remember to keep releasing the good guy lords to become friends with you. Also convince them to join your side afterwards. Use peace time to recruit and bring bandit populations under control in your territories.
This is gonna be very time-consuming and tiring, very nice video
great video
Amazing Guide
Whenever I make my companions lords, they always go off and get bullshit armor. Even if I have bought them all masterwork armor they will literally go get like a leather jerkin. And Matheld in particular, will go get veagir lord armor with no boots or gloves or helmet every time I’ve played through and made her a lord. Can I stop this from happening?
Companions made into vassals have a predetermined set of armor and weps in this mod. It is all managed by a script. Sadly, I don't know which one it is and how you can stop it.
hey hey my man!
it's been a long time since I saw this guide of yours, and detonated in floris.
I really appreciate your help, I'm not the best player in strategy games, you know?
but I need a question of mine to be answered.
I recently felt like returning to playing floris, but I found out that there is a version called "evolved floris" and I would like to know...
the tips you gave in your video, apply in this version? or is she very different?
I thank you very much if you help me with my question.
well, that's it, good night and good luck!
(I'm sorry if I wrote some things wrong, I still don't know the english language very well)
The tips should be viable, but I think the troops are different in Floris evolved.
hmm I see, well, that shouldn't be a problem... but anyway.
Thank you for your help! have a nice day bro!
Iron flesh adds up every extra helps
What influences enemy lords from atacking/running from you on the world map ?
If their autocal determines that they have enough numbers and quality to defeat you, they will attack and not run away.
Bro I kinda miss the loot I used to get from caravans. Is there a way to change the settings and get valuable loot(such as iron, velvet etc) from caravans since I don't get any of them.
I'm sure there is a way, but I don't know it :|
Weapon master seems useless to me since you always get enough just by fighting. I think even Ironflesh would be more useful than it.
I grab a few points into Wep master just to get some early game attack speed. Afterwards, it will scale through battle. Weapon master usually is very useful for archer units, to increase that accuracy and attack speed.
Ironflesh adds up so many battles won by just having a bit extra HP
How many of my enemy's troops can I use before food variety isn't enough to keep morale?
Couldn't tell you the exact amount, mate. In theory, as long as you keep fighting, battle after battle, you should have morale high enough to keep them. But, the more negative relations you have with a faction, the more negative morale you will have with that faction's troops. If you check the party morale section, you will see the morale penalty each type of troops receive. So you have to cover that with food, or fighting to keep them in line.
How much relation with a lord do you need for him to defect? Sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions
I usually like to go for 25, but with high Persuasion you can convince them from around 15.
Dang it. I waited until I had 40-70 relations, and still haven't started my kingdom. Thanks though
Picked this up last week on ps4, have watched this vid prob a dozen times now and I'm still struggling, it's a great vid for sure but this game is so in depth and complicated, I'll get it eventually but these relations are a bitch and I can not get my honor rating in the positive
Why are Rhodoks better with sieges than Vaegirs?
Crossbowmen run out of ammo slower than Vaegirs. You want your boys to shoot and bring down as many people as possible before they charge in. Crossbow boys are good in siege offensives, while archers are good in siege defensive. The reason being, that in a siege defense your ammo reloads automatically, so it is a good idea to fire as fast as possible.
This guide is amazing thanks so much!

great vid bro but 1 question
the first stable party on the noble lord part...is it alayen or alan?
Alayen.
@@HitPointInnGaming thank you sire...hope ur doing well
In case someone is watching this, how in Gods name do I stop the swadians from getting absolutely curb stomped, I've had 2 playthroughs role-playing as some sort of swadian knight, and both time swadia got destroyed by the rhodoks and the nords, in the first one they lost all their cities before day 20
Reload and hope they will survive longer in the next playthrough. Once you are their vassal with a decent army, you can focus on defending and eliminating as many armies as you can. Taking lords prisoners and keeping them there will really take off the pressure.
@@HitPointInnGaming alas, that's what I did, rushed a decent army and tried my absolute best to defend them, I had to retake suno twice from the nords with an army of like 70 decent troops but I've managed to make them survive and now I am a vassal with a good army, also I was surprised by their archers, even the tier 5 ones with volley active destroy nord infantry, an now I have. A bunch of retinue longbow men and yeomen archers and thus far, I've had a better experience with them than with the vaegirs, they also look really cool, I was a bit let down by their ecuyers and t5 chevalliers tho, they're super weak, the bannerets tho, they curbstomp anything in their path
I thought that some of the domestic policy options, gave you negative relations with vassals, like plutocracy/aristocracy.
The benefits and penalties are SO minimal and insignificant and balance each other out, that it does not matter which you go for.
Hit Point Inn Gaming Thanks. I had another look and the penalty was tiny, I thought it was bigger for some reason.
Well, you *can* get the elephant. And the guns for that matter. You just use the cheat menu.

What do you do when you find a companion that is going to be part of 2nd group of lords. Do you just leave ask them to separate for a while after you got them to go on a right to rule quest?
Send them to gather right to rule and then tell them to leave until you need them again.

So, what are the big difference between Floris Extended and Floris Evolved? I've just watched about an hour straight in and I am still waiting for it... It's all I want to know... Can you tell me the wich section your start speaking about the differences?

Well, I played the F out of Floris and just a little bit of Bannerpage. From what I played of it was good. If you've played Floris before, go for Bannerpage. See what it has to offer, compare it and check if it is worth it.
@@HitPointInnGaming Hey man, thank you for answering so fast! Can you tell me maybe, is there something bannrpage does better than floris or are they like 90% similar? @@TheSuperGarvey This guide is for floris expanded. I just called it the ultimate guide...
Ahh ok I agree it is the ultimate guide thanks
Is it not better to use slightly weaker t4 or t5 units so you can have more of them rather than t7?
as long as you can keep the soldiers upgrading, you can use anyone.
Hey Man, In this pack, Can I fire any of my vassals or strip any fiefs from them?
Yes you can.
@Hit Point Inn Gaming how exactly should i do mid game? i mean, should i just join some faction, go rouge and fight all other factions lords? and even then, 90% of the time they will escape after battle, how can i increase propability of captureing them? and also what to do if one of the factions started to dominate the world (nords have like 9/10 cities)? should i just hurry and go into late game or keep it easy and remain in midgame?
You can increase the probability of capturing enemy lords by increasing your Prisoner Management. Mid game, you can become a mercenary of a faction, join as a vassal or try to rush to your own faction if you feel ready. If you feel like one faction is dominating and you don't want that, join their enemy's side and help them push the dominating faction back.
@@HitPointInnGaming thank you for advice :)
@@HitPointInnGaming hey, i tried maxing out prisoner management and it did nothing :( i fought like 10 times and 0 captured lords. then i tried doing it with cheats, i fought like 30 times (rly, i did it all day by now xd) and i got only 1 of the lords. is it supposed to be like that or is it some bug?
@@HitPointInnGaming and also why should I do it in the first place? i mean, im going to make my companions into lords and give them land and im planning to give them much more than just one castle per person so they could afford bigger armies. this way i will not need any external lords so... why should i care about them anyway? xd does my plan makes sense from gameplay and game mechanics poin of view?
@@stacuu2222 I don't know why Prisoner Management is not working for you. Might have to restart the playthrough and test Prisoner management out again. Also, the more you use companions as lords, the more lords will join on the enemy side. If overwhelming enemy forces don't seem to concern you, then simply go nuts with your plan.
Are the heavy bastard sword good? In this mod, the best one is the english longsword.
If you build towards them sure. I usually prefer to have a shield and use piercing or blunt damage.
I actually prefer the reworked troops it is basically the same units as expanded but only the good ones and fewer dead ends in the trees
I prefer the expanded troops, but it is personal preference. Everyone can play with whatever troop tree they desire.
Is there any reason to play Floris Expanded over the submod Floris Evolved?
I think one of them has more items than the other but that's it.
I don't know if there is an option that I can change the amount of exp soldiers gain; I'd like to change it. It's super slow and kinda boring.
I think you can change some settings in some .ini file but I'm not sure where. You might wanna google that.
Hey i was wondering, which of the file i need to play version 2.55? Cause there is 3 option on the website; expanded, gameplay, and source kit. And can you turn off bandit leaders in 2.55?
I'm not sure if you can turn off the bandit leaders. Gameplay uses native troops, and expanded uses the troops I describe in the video. Depends on you which you want to go for.
I think I will play still play as the sarranids because they are very versatile

I'm not sure. If you have the kingdom culture of yout enemy in your kingdom, your units should be ok. Check the morale panel to verify.

How do you not have any stat penalties on Revaul character for wearing 42kg worth of gear?
Well, I am quite slow on foot, but I operate most of the time from a horse.
@@HitPointInnGaming That's not what I meant
Currently playing 2.54 Floris Expanded and if I'll have too much weight on me, I have stat penalties to either riding, power draw, or other stats (-1 to riding, the stats are marked by a red color). Is that a feature that you disabled on your playthrough, or did they remove it on 2.55?
Also I forgot to mention that your guides are amazing and extremely helpful. Ever played the Gekokujo daimyo edition mod? Can we expect a Gekokujo guide from you in the future or no?
EDIT: Yeah, I did check the mod options and you can disable that in-game, I suppose you have it disabled then.
@@salt-upon-wounds9909 I did disable it. I don't think I will be going for a guide on Gekokujo even though I love it. Development has stopped on it and it still is an incomplete game.
why does buying land and borrowing money doesn't work in my client?
Are you sure you are using the Floris mod? Are you sure you have enough relations to buy land?
@@HitPointInnGaming oww relations. How much relations do I need?
@@kevinmasalangoy5028 At least neutral with the ruler of the town.
@@HitPointInnGaming well I am neutral with the town. Could be because of version difference? I have warband 1.172 i believe
@@kevinmasalangoy5028 Might be. I'm not sure.
Why did you make lezalit a engineer in vanilla hes a trainer and artimenner is engineer im just curious
I give trainer to everyone. Usually the person that has tactics, I give them engineer as well. Of course you can keep Artimenner as an engineer and give Lezalit something else. Give trainer to everyone!
My game keeps crashing when i try to play a tornament what do i do?
Try to go into the camp menu and deactivate the Floris Tournament and just play the classic version.
Is there a way to change back to the old music? Don`t like the new Floris one.
Sadly, I don't know of a way to change back to the old music. I recommend that you simply turn the music off completely from the options menu and listen to something on RUclips at the same time.
i tried to reply with my answer twice, but im on mobile and there seems to be a problem that prevents it from working.
@@vulture4117 Reply for the music? I can see your comment here just fine.
Well that's strange. I'm on my PC now so I can retype it:
To find the Floris music folder, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Floris Expanded Mod Pack 2.55\Music. It has all the Floris tracks.
The native music folder is at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\music.
You can copy-and-replace individual tracks from the latter into the former. You could copy-replace all of the tracks at once and it would PROBABLY work, but I haven't tried it.
Also, since Floris has 109 tracks in the folder while native has 75, some of the Floris songs would still play. If you want to fix that, you could individually copy some of the native tracks, rename them to the same names as the remaining 34 Floris tracks, and replace them.
Hope I could be of help.
Hi, how to fix lags over 200 people?
I don't really understand. Bring down the battle size to 150?
