One More tip Playing as Female character after marriage give perks like you can control your husbands towns , castles, garrison ( I generally to do it to steal troops :P) and if you start your own kingdom you can be sure that your husband will follow you and will bring his fiefs to your kingdom
@@tinyspacepeople9384 Absolutely. I married a very strong vassal once. His fiefs consisted of two cities and a castle (I helped a great deal, hehe). That with my three castles and a city was a lethal combination (I also had countless villages - one of them at -60 relation xD -, since my renown was higher than my king's and I had a ton of honor, which made almost everyone like me and helped me convince some of them to vote for me from time to time). So I waited for enough right to rule (since Kingdom of Vaegirs had been a vast empire, it wasn't too difficult, we were constantly at 3 or 4 wars)... and then I defected with my husband (you can choose whether you think he ahould be king or you should be queen). The king, being already in 4 wars, immediately offered me peace. So I accepted and focused on establishing my power.
1 tip from me, good thing is having at least one point spent on first aid, everyone knows that when you die in battle and you are forced to fight again the only option you can press is autoresolve which is very dangerous cuz in most of times you loose lot's of hight tier troops against low tier troops. First aid let's you fight again with low health which is better for you and your army than autoresolve
Another tip for seiges. While besieging any castle or town with a considerably larger force than your own, always start with battle troop size at 30 (lowest). Then as soon as battle starts, quickly change it to largest (150) while pausing, press escape and then again quickly reduce the size back to 30. Now you'll have your whole army at the battlefield while enemies will spawn in groups of 13 - 15, easily killed by sheer numerical advantage, even if they outnumber you!
Fun fact: You can chamber block a lance charge with a thrust. I've played the game for about 1,500 hours, and have only managed to do it about a dozen times, but holy cow, it's immensely satisfying.
Years ago when I first started playing I had over 400hs on my first ever save, and I managed to conquer all of Calradia. I've played thousands of hours of this game, modded, and vanilla. And Only today I found out, that having a village with good relations, will give you better recruits. I seriously did not know for I never bothered to spend time with villages unless I needed to release a lord from a town or castle. I feel incredibly dumb. Yet proud that I managed to conquer the whole map with only recruiting basic tear recruits. Thanks for this video! Im coming back to Calradia and that one tip made my day.
This was so helpful, thank you! the tutorial is like 'here's how to wack someone', when in reality you need to know tactics, economics, generalship, diplomacy, politics, and much much more. I wish they taught you this in-game.
I actually do have one small tip to offer. Although you can use your companions to fill out your intelligence skills (by having one specialize in tactics, one in surgery, one in first aid, etc. You cant achieve the very highest levels in those skills without buying them yourself. If your companion has surgery 10, then the effect will be that of 10 surgery skill. But if you have surgery 10, the effect is that of having 14 surgery skill. Think of it like a 'buy 2 get one free' All intelligence skills give you bonuses for investing in them yourself. I think it's: if you buy 4 of a skill, you get one for free. If you buy 6, you get 2 free. If you buy 8, 3 free, and 10 4 free. This is expressed by having a little (+x) in the party menu where it lists what party members are contributing what skills.
_"I think it's"_ makes it just your opinion, but not a fact. Who knows what is wrong in your thinking, what you have overlooked and think incorrectly? People are usually very bad at maths and precise thinking and prefer to jump to exuberant conclusions rather than conclusions based on deduction, overlooking things that are right under their noses. Their minds make things up, especially when they confuse causes with mere correlations. At best, they know they don't really know anything and formulate _"I think that"_ ; at worst, they believe what they think is true. Like the Indians and their rain dance. They believe it works because they only stop dancing when it starts to rain.
This applies to NPCs too though. If an NPC has surgery at 7, for example, and you have surgery at 2, the NPC will show their surgery skill as "7 (+1)". This applies to all party skills.
@Claude-Eckel Except he's right. Each 2 levels of a skill YOUR CHARACTER has imparts a skill bonus to the party skill of another party member. Your Skill Level to Party Skill Bonus 0-1 (+0) 2-4 (+1) 5-7 (+2) 8-9 (+3) 10 (+4) Ex: Jeremus has a wound treatment of 5. You have a wound treatment of 2. 5+1, your party wound treatment is now 6. Also man, try having a garden during a drought. You'll be willing to do a rain dance too.
Great video, just thought I would share my strategy for getting a good horse in the game early on, look for lame versions of the horse at the market. Then equip it to your inventory and if you have Jeremus as a follower (he is free) you can heal the horse and save a ton of money at the start!
WHAT ON EARTH!? I just sell or sacrifice the poor things. You just got to be kidding me!! Now they'll have to admit Jeremiah is the best. If only he could also heal permanent injuries (please tell me he can).
@@alaaseblani7159 Did a quick check and you just need wound treatment and to have the horse in your inventory. It will go from lame to normal (only lame to normal, nothing more nothing less). I finally can make money at the early game!!!
I've found surgery to be actually a double edged sword. It's nice that units don't die, but nobody is going to be afraid of an army of 130, if only 30 of them are combat available. With high level of surgery that's quite likely to happen. You'll have unusable units that just slow you down, eat food and take salary for a long time... Sometimes even deep in enemy territory. Someone with a smaller, but capable army jumps at you, defeats you and imprisons you. That's not an image I'd recommend... and for that reason I rather let my units die and then recruit and train new ones if I need them. In the middlegame recruiting 60 recruits and losing 20 of them to sea raiders is not an issue. But here's one awesome tip I've found recently: Search for caravan escort missions. They take a while, but pay well and the exp rewards are over the roof. Two caravan escort quests launched me and my companion from level 6 to level 16.

So I just started playing this game- on console (ps4) and am completely hooked. A seriously good trick I found is an easy way to take castles. Even your factions. Wait until the enemy, or an enemy at war with the same faction as you takes a castle. ALL the sieging units will leave, let them get just far enough away and roll up and threaten the 15 units or so left in the castle and 90% of the time they'll just hand the town/ castle to you. Sometimes you have to fight the garrison but even then your fighting 30 to 60, not 300.
And I have a army of horses and archers I only have 20 Max out soldiers and it cost over 1000 denars I have to consistently fight army's to get gold and Forrest bandits.

A really good video, excellently made and had things that I hadn't heard before even though I've played for years! Definitely hope you get the high views you deserve :)
Great video, I must say, it was quite informative even after tons of hours playing it. I was wondering though, what mods do you usually play and which would you recommend to have a mostly vanilla-ish experience? For the moment, I have mostly been playing around with total conversions, or with Floris and Silverstag, but wanted something a bit more vanilla.
One of my favorite mods actually, Suvarnabhumi Mahayuth, I go over it in one of my videos here ruclips.net/video/hluOyDXJMIo/видео.html Otherwise you can find it directly here steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=374319052
nice, great video :) Im not sure if youve talked about this earlier but will you do early videos on bannerlords when it eventually comes out? Sort of tip videos iguess or something in the direction when the game is new and there's a lot to learn. Similiar to this i'd assume although ofc it will be hard to be really indept when even you are new to the game.
man what a game this is. I've just began scratching the surface, but I'm blown ! Reminds me of the Sid meiers classic Pirates!. Btw, what are some must have mods ?
Yeah it's really an amazing game! I made a video a while back on some of my favorite mods. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/hluOyDXJMIo/видео.html
1:33 do you know how to do this on console (as in the flag I know how to bring up the menu) I know I've asked a question on ur other vid and was wondering could you help me out
What did you mean when you said "Never garrison troops that have experience in between upgrades as this will cause them to lose their earned experience." at 5:17. When you upgrade a soldier that means he advances to the next level. How can you have XP in between upgrades? Thanks.
So what I meant is if you have not yet upgraded the soldiers (eg, they are ready to be upgraded), then if you garrison, they will lose their possible upgrade. They still remain the same soldier, but if they could have been upgraded and you didn't, they lose that chance until they're leveled up again. To be able to upgrade, the soldiers earn experience through there kills/training/time.
Just rest in the Town. You don't have to enter the Tavern for it to take effect, there should be an option in the town menu for you to stay there and wait. Same goes for Castles or Villages that have the Manor upgrade. Have funs!
none just take a break from such a long campaign. However this is just me I really haven't found such a mod since I'm so burnout off of vanilla. If you think your ready to go for another campaign then prophesy of pendor or The Last Days of the Third Age.
Any of the total conversion mods are awesome. You can go to the steam workshop and filter to total conversion only and just go ham. Some of my favorites are in this video I made a while ago ruclips.net/video/hluOyDXJMIo/видео.html
Do you guys know of any mod that represents the heavy armour not being possible to penetrate with bows and crossbows realistically? This is my main gripe with the game currently...
In Perisno mod only the strongest bowmen and bows can damage heavy armoured opponents, but crossbows will do damage..this is realistic because crossbows were deadly against armor
I dropped about 600 hours into vanilla before exploring mods just because I enjoyed the base game so much. Gekokujo and Prophecy of Pendor are my favs by far
Also, the fact projectiles are unrealistic in piercing the heavy armour is especially annoying when you are a tank not bothered by melee but a crossbow magically takes you out in 1-2 shots. Recent test video shows it not being able to penetrate a plate cuirass. Ever.
But you don't have a plate cuirass over your entire body, Geezus Christ. Armour had (and still has) gaps all over it, depending on what it was custom-made for, especially if the knight was wearing inherited armour rather than his own hand-forged, custom-made armour. He had to be able to move in it, only the most important parts were covered by armour that was hard to penetrate, and yet it was penetrated, no matter what some eejits on YT claim to have found out, they are not scientists! Skulls had been found with helmets tacked on by, guess what, Crossbow bolts! These are scientific facts, findings from that time that tell the truth, not a fucking YT video! And I've even seen it in contemporary tests (but done by real experts, not jerks trying to confirm their wishful thinking): Crossbow bolts penetrate armour plate, just like bodkins can. Pointblank full stop. But they don't have to penetrate armour at all when it comes to killing a knight entrapped in his own armour. All you have to do is tear the sinew of the hind leg of a knight's horse and bring it down. The armoured man will fall down and land on the ground like a helpless bug that cannot get up without help because he cannot bend his upper body. It's a problem that today's riot police also have when they wear body armour: when they land on their backs, they can't get up, they have to roll onto their bellies first and then stand up on all 4 limbs. And that's today, almost a thousand years later. Nothing has changed. You don't know anything. You watch too many Hollywood movies. It's enough to hit the gaps between the chest and shoulders and neck and the huge gaps in the groin and so on and so forth, plus the opponents have developed means and tactics to overcome these "tanks", or do you think they were completely stupid and the knights would have been invincible? It didn't work like that, it was already hardly the case that heavy cavalry, knights fought peasants. They fought other knights. Your idiotic mass battles of all footmen against blue blooded heavy cavalry is already horseshit. But you're not complaining about that, do ye?! So, keep your hair on, this is just a video game and not reality, and even if it wanted to reflect reality, you die on horseback from arrows, rest assured! There is no such thing as invincible tanks, there never was, there wasn't then, there isn't now and there never will be. Where there is one means, there will always be another to counter it. People are NOT as stupid as you obviously are and therefore believe others would be too. If the rule of the game is that you can die by crossbows, then that is a rule of the game. Like in chess, where the pawn can move two squares at the start and can only capture diagonally. There's no why and what, and that's not realistic, that's the fucking rule. It doesn't matter if it's realistic or not, and that goes for ALL games on this fucking planet. You want to play the game? Then play it by the rules and stop complaining that you can't beat the game by your own fucking rules. Become a cheater and feel powerful that way. Then you can make your own rules, but no one would ever care about your "victories". How old are you anyway? 12? Everyone has to play by the same rules, but you're the only one complaining that your oh-so-great "tank" can be killed. Gee, you think you're a genius, huh? You think no one would do the same and then the game would be over because players can't be defeated. And then you start that ludicrous OP talk that losing kids with their pea brains love to do on games so much. Memememee.... this armour is OP, this weapon is OP, memememememe... this horse is OP.... can't win, then everything is OP. Get a grip and grow up, for Pete's sake. I can't listen to this whiny wimps and babies generation of today anymore. How they all bug the crap out of me.

i didnt kow about having horses in inventory
I never knew that thing abotu villages until I had a 50 loyality village and got trained crossbowmen one day from recruitment.
I'm new on ps4 how do you get money fast I invested like 10000 denars on business and I only get 600 per week that's not enough.
And I have a army of horses and archers I only have 20 Max out soldiers and it cost over 1000 denars I have to consistently fight army's to get gold and Forrest bandits.
@@Harry-tm3ck Cavalry are Insanely expensive. You have to take special measures to be able to afford them. Own a city, be a blacksmith, have a bunch of caravans/ workshops etc
@@timothyarnold1679 so go full soldiers then try get a castle. But if I do get the castle will swadia take the castle??
@@timothyarnold1679 cuz I am a member of swadia
A really good video, excellently made and had things that I hadn't heard before even though I've played for years! Definitely hope you get the high views you deserve :)
Played loads of mount and blade was suprised how much I didn't know! Lol great video
IF YOU DONT FIND YOURSELF IN THE MAP JUST CLICK ANYWERE AND THEN PRESS SPACE your camera will automatically move towards your character
do I hear there divinity original sin 2 instrumental sounds there?
perhaps :)
Finally!!! The lord has returned
Try Ev lat
diplomacy 4 litdum
me: feels like i barely understand warband after all these hours
also me: knew every tip already
I knew most of the tips, but some Will be a great help. Thanks.
@5:30 ish
"Increases party by one, which may seem like a lot." huh?
At 1:10 how do you do that on Xbox? I'm honestly stumped on that.
If you attack the desert bandits they always are on horses and they give you a few for free
Been waiting every day since I saw your comment on Ironhawks video!
:D

Just over 60 days on my first playthrough its been hectic af with learning combat AND commanding at the same time
TIMBY IS BACK AGAIN
Back at last :D
Console pleb hear so...no mods 4 me :(
Same
Carbin Shalon same. The game is still really fun tho
What mod are you playing in in the beginning?
One of my favorite mods actually, Suvarnabhumi Mahayuth, I go over it in one of my videos here ruclips.net/video/hluOyDXJMIo/видео.html
Otherwise you can find it directly here steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=374319052
Thank you! Still amazed that there are elephants in there!
haha yeah! It's so cool. Crazy amount of content
nice, great video :) Im not sure if youve talked about this earlier but will you do early videos on bannerlords when it eventually comes out? Sort of tip videos iguess or something in the direction when the game is new and there's a lot to learn. Similiar to this i'd assume although ofc it will be hard to be really indept when even you are new to the game.
Thank you! I definitely hope to. I'll try to be doing tips/tricks/easter eggs/mods and just straight up gameplay.
man what a game this is. I've just began scratching the surface, but I'm blown ! Reminds me of the Sid meiers classic Pirates!.
Btw, what are some must have mods ?
Yeah it's really an amazing game!
I made a video a while back on some of my favorite mods. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/hluOyDXJMIo/видео.html
what mod you use for the armors?
Awesome videos bro!
Loved this thank you for the advise
Loved the divinity sounds
1:33 do you know how to do this on console (as in the flag I know how to bring up the menu) I know I've asked a question on ur other vid and was wondering could you help me out
I believe if you hold down right on the dpad while selecting "hold position", the flag should pop up
Not a huge fan of the format, but you definitely showed me some stuff I didn't know. Thanks.
How did you get all your knights to wear that same helmet?
What did you mean when you said "Never garrison troops that have experience in between upgrades as this will cause them to lose their earned experience." at 5:17. When you upgrade a soldier that means he advances to the next level. How can you have XP in between upgrades? Thanks.
So what I meant is if you have not yet upgraded the soldiers (eg, they are ready to be upgraded), then if you garrison, they will lose their possible upgrade. They still remain the same soldier, but if they could have been upgraded and you didn't, they lose that chance until they're leveled up again.
To be able to upgrade, the soldiers earn experience through there kills/training/time.
what version of mount and blade warband is this??
What is a high number for right to rule?
Great video!
Best game of all time for sure
Great video
Great tips stay safe and God bless!
The only thing wrong about this video, is that it ends
I wish I could find a video like this for the Xbox 1 version.
When I search servers in multiplayer,it says unable to connect to server and don't show any server how to fix??
About the 15th tip, how do you stay in a tavern? Like I know you can enter them but that pauses game time doesn’t it?
Just rest in the Town. You don't have to enter the Tavern for it to take effect, there should be an option in the town menu for you to stay there and wait. Same goes for Castles or Villages that have the Manor upgrade. Have funs!
Welcome back
How do you immediately halt your horse on PlayStation?
What mods were used in the video?
Great vid! Kinda curious though, what mod were you playing during the main bulk of the vid? Native expansions are my fav.
Thank you! I believe I was playing Chancellor's Calradia V.2
Thank you you have a new sub!
I just beat warband by conquering the entire map with my faction. What mods would you recommend to make this game fresh again ?
none just take a break from such a long campaign. However this is just me I really haven't found such a mod since I'm so burnout off of vanilla. If you think your ready to go for another campaign then prophesy of pendor or The Last Days of the Third Age.
If you haven't tried any mods at all, good for you. There are tons of mods, that you could spend hundreds of hours on.
Any of the total conversion mods are awesome. You can go to the steam workshop and filter to total conversion only and just go ham. Some of my favorites are in this video I made a while ago ruclips.net/video/hluOyDXJMIo/видео.html
Timby nice ! Thanks for the recommendation. I just needed something to switch it up from vanilla.
Flint Orwell go for star wars conquest
umm thanks for the tips and btw whats the name of the mod? you use mod?
How do I move my troops around on the xbox one?
Do these work for the original mount and blade too
Does anyone know what the native expansion mod he is using?
Any way to do the pop up banner on Xbox?
The party size increase with being marshal, owning castles and being king only applies to NPC's according to the wiki.
I was wondering myself, i think we would have noticed having +100 party size but it never happened to me. So this has to be only for the NPCs.
My party size 126+ still hard to take castles
Do you guys know of any mod that represents the heavy armour not being possible to penetrate with bows and crossbows realistically? This is my main gripe with the game currently...
In Perisno mod only the strongest bowmen and bows can damage heavy armoured opponents, but crossbows will do damage..this is realistic because crossbows were deadly against armor
I love that background music! Gonna check the list...
Thank You :)
Does this applie to viking conguest as well
Hey how do you have those command options such as "Shield orders weapon orders, etc" ? I don't have them. Is it a mod?
hmm you should have them. Have you tried pressing backspace? Or any of the f keys like f1, f2, f3, etc?
The music in your intro kinda sounds like its from code lyoko
Can't get mods on the ps4 version ),:
I dropped about 600 hours into vanilla before exploring mods just because I enjoyed the base game so much.
Gekokujo and Prophecy of Pendor are my favs by far
having a shit ton of food keeps your morale high
Do you know a good way to locate bandit bases?
I think you just follow the bandits until they reach the base.
How does tip 2 translate to console?
So good
what mod are you using
Does number 2 work on console?
Often when a feast is hosted barely anyone attends... Anyways, how do I host my own? Do I need to be married?
