Excellent video. I will employ this tactic when I play on hardest. In the meantime, I imported a lev 42 (lev 45 now) from native that has 8 persuasion and I have ALL of the companions at high levels with nice equipment. I have a 10 in every category and two doctors with 10's in every medical category with Ansen on the bottom out of the fighting. I am just about to start my own kingdom but in the mean time, they all have nice blunt weapons. 8 times out of 10 I am able to persuade them to stay with me when they want to leave. 10 in every category is sick. The money from prisoners and looting is crazy. No one can run or hide. I let every lord go (*except the evil pricks*) when I defeat them so I have high relation with 80% of everyone. I clean up baddies around my castles/cities with no extra troops, just 20 high level companions with blunt weapons. Excellent loot from them all. When I start my own kingdom soon, (not using any companions as lords), the end will be swift. Its fun.
For Vassal Companions make sure they have at least 15 STR, 21CHR with 7 Leadership and some Pathfinding and they will be good. For Medic Companions: 9-12 STR and then everything in INT with priority on Surgery, Wound Treatment and First Aid. For Pathfinder companions: 9-12 STR and then everything in INT with priority on Pathfinding, Spotting and Tracking. Tactician companion: 9-12 STR and then everything into INT with priority on Engineering, Tactics and Trainer. Looter companion: 9-12 STR and then everything into AGI with focus on Looting. Optional companions: Trading companion: 9-12 STR and everything into CHR with priority on Trade and Persuasion (to use as an emissary if you need to send declarations of peace or other messages to factions).
So at one point, Alyssa and Sir Rolland are gonna be in one party, even though they don't like each other... Ofc you can send one temporary away or just let them argue, but it isn't 100% smooth option. Anyway, great video, thank you!
Hey thx for the update that's great but I do have 3 questions... 1. It be great to have a little more context on what changed and the rational behind the new team to better understand 2. You mention dropping Sigi for Donovan but I assume this is only while we train him ( assume we can take Sigi back once Donovan is vassal??) 3. Is it viable to replace Alyssa whos a bitch with Sara whos a nicer bitch ?
1. Ok, changes: Fred is no longer noble, Julia is no longer noble, Kaverra is no longer noble, Ansen, Kassim and Donovan are now nobles. I've tried to have as many of the good nobles and as many companions as possible in a stable party and what I explained in the video is the most efficient way. 2. Yes, you can take Sigi back once Donovan is vassal. 3. As long as you have Sigi in your party, you can replace Alyssa with Sara. Remember that when you are training Donovan to be a vassal and Sigi is not around Sara will want to leave because of Julia. I am sorry I have not explained everything in enough details :(
Hit Point Inn Gaming lol dont worry your doing amazing content I very rarely post on youtube so that because ive listen to your 1 hour guide like 4-5 time even while taking a walk so I was a bit more passionnate about the topic
No problem. You don't have to follow the video 100%. Just look at the chart and come up with your own party. Introduce some blackjack and ladies of the night as well if you want to.
you should be able to have sir roland in your first party aswell because sir roland and kaverra like eachother and alyssa and sir alistair like eachother so you would make them all stay even tho there is conflict
Just what I needed! Thanks for doing this!
Thanks mate, very informative. Will use this as my go to hero setup
I like your work. Been watching you and getting great advice. Thanks!! Subscribed and liked.

is this combination still viable in 3.9.5.?
Yes, the combination is still viable. No changes have been made in patch 3.9.4 and 3.9.5.
