Maybe so, but the others do the same thing only difference here is you had some big haters who sucked all the air out of the universe about it. But Garrett does need to get it together moving forward. They took to long releasing it after creating all the hype.
@@MentalMetalthey didn't take long enough apparently, deus 2 users have been waiting for a small coil for years, although XP didn't hype it up until recently to be fair, but people can wait and expect for most of the major bugs to be ironed out The Vortex seems to be a decent unmasker, but has some problems with the VDI that the update didn't seem to fix from what I've seen There's cheaper machines I would feel more confident using, although not made in America I guess if someone cares about that, I like to brag about my American made products when it's obvious they are superior like my shovel made with American steel That's my tedtalk, hopefully Garret can improve the machine with future updates and it works the same or better in other detectors in the price range
Great points, I don't disagree with any of them. Time will tell if Garrett can make it right but the longer they take their chances will continue to slip away and this machine will never be talked about again.
Well at least you now have an updated detector that still doesn't work anywhere near how it's supposed to lmao I hope you actually post the issues with this detector.. like the others are. Otherwise you are just a yes man. Similar to every detector review in treasure hunting magazines. There was never a bad review in those magazines lol Total garbage reviews in my opinion either tell the truth or you're lying.
Wow just a yes man... not sure what to say to that. If you really watched this channel then you would probably feel a little different based on the content I've put out over the years this channel has existed. I expected to be targeted because I'm trying to give this machine a fair look so it alright. If the machine sucks, which I haven't seen yet from my basic tests, I'm not going to come out ranting and raving about it. I'll just point out what it does vs what it doesn't and move on. I'm not sure why there needs to be so much drama around it.
great video! the problem with the content creators on Utube is that they will say anything do anything for a dollar now! no more real channels because everyone wants to make money! i wish Utube would demonetize all channels and we would finally get a actual portal of the Real hobby and Real authentic finds from people! Instead we have lots of channels propagating out right hoaxes, incorrect tips and poor product review of products!
Well I hope you don't think that of this channel. I try to keep things as honest as I can make them. Its not about the money for me but it does help the costs of some of the equipment so I think monetizing or demonetizing isn't the answer. Maybe lawsuits against some of the channels would be the better way to get rid of the garbage thats out there. But then you are attacking the free speech thing. Its a hard balance, social media in general just sucks IMO.
@@MentalMetal no i wish you the best of luck on your channel and hope you get some great finds in 2025! I just feel Garrett has let us down again! GL&HH
Yeah, demoniitize all channels, then expect everyone to work themselves to death making videos for nothing. I don’t post videos, but happy if the creators make money, so they continue. I love watching and learning
Well maybe because they prefer a different brand. Not everyone likes to support the Turks (Nokta) or other companies like XP (France) etc. People are smart enough to make their own decisions and shouldn't be shamed into picking a company they want to buy from. Just my opinion.
To be fair I rather own a findX pro, but the vortex is probably a better unmasker in iron, the vortex would be a decent detector at a findX pro price, it just doesn't compete with detectors in its price range, the VDI is a disaster though at any rate
@MentalMetal yeah honestly that's my biggest concern is the vdi. And in my opinion they should have a higher and lower multi frequency option. One for modern aluminum trash and one for iron. But it's alot to ask for until we get a better vdi system on multi frequency. I'm sure you've seen my other posts. It's impossible to identify clad dimes from silver dimes to clad quarters and silver quarters. And the lower end of the coins make it difficult to get an idea of you are over and Indian head penny or a zinc. Oh and one more thing if you post another video in your test garden try using the lower single frequencies and see how well the target ID performs then. You'll see what's missing in multi frequency
Update worked as you showed, thanks! I have been using the Garret AT Max and like the Vortex even on the original software.
You're welcome!
I am seeing improvement since the update. Unfortunately my ground is now froze so i will have to wait until the big thaw to get out again.
I tested mine yesterday in my test garden (video coming out soon) and it performed better than I thought with 2.05.
@MentalMetal yep it does very well as far as depth goes. I just got back from trying it in the woods and in managed to find some interesting stuff.
Awesome great to hear.
Great vid buddy !
My friend, you have the power of stopping the video and watching it again.
Thanks for posting.
No problem!
Thanks same to you.
Most people honestly want Vortex to succeed
But this machine came out too soon with problems
They should have put more effort into field tests
Maybe so, but the others do the same thing only difference here is you had some big haters who sucked all the air out of the universe about it. But Garrett does need to get it together moving forward. They took to long releasing it after creating all the hype.

toy detector
Yep it will probably find toy cars, and other toys in the ground.
Great video but why would anyone in their right mind buy a Vortex over the Triple Score or Xterra Elite SMH
Well maybe because they prefer a different brand. Not everyone likes to support the Turks (Nokta) or other companies like XP (France) etc. People are smart enough to make their own decisions and shouldn't be shamed into picking a company they want to buy from. Just my opinion.
Dog eat dog world. Find x pro off the chart far better.😂.

They do need to address the VDI issues. They need to spread it out more.
