- Metal detecting out in the middle of nowhere to see if there is anything out there in the ground. We figured we would do some exploring and relic hunting beyond the rock walls of deserted NH colonial farmlands and had a surprise find. There are no cellar holes out here but a bit of stone walls and fragments of wagon trails. People were definitely living in the area back in the 1700s and 1800s so there is a shot at discovering an abandoned site. We hiked, we detected and we searched some pretty interesting spots and found our way back to one of the old foundations and again had another great find. Reading the landscape history and spending the day out in the forest is a wonderful thing.

Thank you Charlie and Waynos for the adventure and seeing some nice finds !
Love these romps through the woods and seeing what comes. The adventure is leveled up and the finds are more mysterious. Love it also if you find wells and reveal them. Nice button Charlie, looking wonderful on that yellow leaf. 😃 And nice thimble Waynos. 😉 Horses and oxen say a lot, as well as the random nails. I wonder if the nails were related to wooden boxes that had rotted away. Hinges might define the nail locations. My Land Ranger Pro bit the dust after 8 years. 😒 The microwave buttons suck on that. So here I am appreciating you all for filling in on my void of fun. Best wishes. 😊 (NY)
Thanks for all the fun adventures, guys...hope your enjoying the holiday...
Nice hunt. I love the thimbles!!!
boom let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Congrats, Waynos, and great finds guys! There is never a shortage of great things to find in those NH hills!! Excellent job, guys! Happy New Year to you both!
Merry Christmas to you both and your family's!
Congratulations Waynos! Merry Christmas guys!
Nice hunt thank you for sharing happy holidays 👍👍❤️
Thimble, button, horse & oxen shoes, misc. 'bits and bobs' not getting shot at by anyone, altogether a good outing.
Thimbles were sometimes used when baling agricultural projects. So, if this was once a farm field of some sort, it would explain its presence.
Good stuff. Enjoyed 👍
Merry Christmas! 🎄🦌🎅
Yep... that'll do...
That was definitely a fun day👍🏻
Kudos to you guys. You work har for the finds!
Zdravím všechny 😃 super video, dobrá práce 👍👍👍
What an exciting day for you two. Great finds. Love the video 😊
Have you ever brushed the willies on a wire wheel? I think it would look cool to mount them on a board all shined up. You must have some really old ones.
You always seem surprised when you find a thimble. In fact ,all metal detecting channels do. But, to this day, every military soldier, is taught to sew. Whether it be for clothing repair or wound care in the field and a thimble makes it so (sew) much easier. I would imagine throughout our history, practically everyone has had several.
I have yet to find a thimble yet among many items
Curious, How does the F-19 compare to the T-2?
And also, Thanks for another fun hunt!
They are both great machines but the F19 and G2+ seem to outperform the T2 by a bit
Good to know! Thanks Waynos!
R.I.P.. EVH!
That beeps for you!
Awesome video as usual, but it pains me to watch you boys on your knees with those stubby shovels! I get they’re compact, but dang! You need to hit up my buddy Casey, he is Excalibur shovels here in Utah!! Get off your knees!!
Hey all. I’ve been away for awhile due to health reasons and have tried to catch up where I left off but there are so many videos. I’m curious, what happened to the Shack? I haven’t seen it in the many past videos. Seemed like it used to be an important part of the wrap ups. Can someone fill me in. I stopped watching when Jen was around and the group out in I believe was Colorado would collaborate with the Stealth Diggers.
Finding what .?
5150 was VanHagar, and sucked.
I feel like I was just Rick rolled with this title
It makes no sense to me, as to what it is supposed to mean.
It was finding a thimble out there ! Knowing that where most of the cellar holes are at !
