I'm running a 2020 XSR900 daily, and I agree with what your are saying. It's not the best bike, if you are quite fast, the direction is not very good, but the engine is very fun and globally it's a good bike. I love the colors you got on yours.
Great info on the XSR900. I was in the market for a new bike last year, but I didn't look past the Z900RS because I just love the old school looks of it. I've been approached multiple times now by people that think that my RS is actually a 70s bike.
I loved your video on monster, tenere, and bike of decade... I owned mt07, rode tenere... And last year I'm the grinniest guy with xsr900... And you make video about it :D Dude, I can't be happier with your videos. Pls, stop, otherwise it means I'll propose to you or I'll get new bike :D (mt-10 I guess? :D) All I want to say, mad love to your content!!!!
I bought my '16 FZ09 this Sept '21. With 1,000 miles on it. It was showroom perfect in every nook and cranny. Dude draped towels over it in his garage. It's been washed once in the 7,000 miles that I've put in it. 😁 Dirty Bike Club! ✌️ Clean the chain and rock on! For real tho, my 09's ECU was already flashed and it's still not as smooth as my bone stock FZ07 is. I'm only getting like 41-43mpg with the 09. Pretty thirsty bike.
Well thats an easy one... I haven't bothered yet 😅 The brake lever is patiently waiting in the garage. It'll be put on soon. Glad your XSR got a workout !
Nice video man I saw in one of your vids that your riding in Windsor I ride their quite a lot we should go for a ride some time what area are are you from?
Can you elaborate more on why you changed the O2 sensor? My bike isn’t smooth at the moment when riding slow. I thought it was the chain and sprockets, changed those but problem remained. I also did the air injection synch. It improved a bit but still it is jerky in low throttle. Really annoying. Could it be a faulty O2? Is it something you could clean?
Most certainly. Mine I went out once and I felt like it just wasnt smooth in constant-ish throttle, like micro cuts. Order an O2 sensor, replaced it, bike was back to perfect. Now when I took mine out it was all burnt out and a tiny bit rusty IIRC. Now its normal considering its exposed to exhaust gases and mine is ridden in rain too so there can be water ingress etc, but a bad O2 sensor will send shitty information to the ECU and it wont fuel properly. Luckily its not a hard part to replace (its bolted on to the exhaust a bit tough but not undoable), and its not prohibitive, I bought a second hand one that looked pretty much new for something like £50. Try it, Id say those need a change once in a while anyway ☺

This is a great review. However it was very annoying having to scrub back and forth to really absorb each highlight. The camera work is jerky and like your speech is WAY to fast. However I appreciate the information very much. Cheers👍
Exhaust headers are looking a bit manky; take care that the oil cooler doesn't get clogged up with rust/gunk. Personally, I use ACF50 twice a year on my bike. Missenden Flyer vlogged about it several years ago.
No disrespect but they lied to you if Yamaha told you the reason they use false tanks is to make it easier to customize. I hate when brands do that. Toyota did something similar with the Supra Launch. Their marketing team says “hey try to come up with a list of choices we made and twist the motivation around on as many as possible to make it seem like we did it for them because we love them. It’s straight up insulting.
Well judging by the amount of customs for the XSR900 (many, as per the video), and the amount for MT09s, the numbers speak for themselves. I do still wish they used the space for more liters in the tank but hey ho.

Great vids. Would love a comparison between your XSR and the new model
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who seems to think the chain slack / tension in the owners manual's version seems way too tight
It is. If you have a little maintenance experience you can eyeball it and feel it off the stand.
Keep uploading, I like the way you are doing it.
Just bought the 2019 model. Still breaking it in. Haven't really pushed the limits. Already having a blast on it.

My fuel gauge flashed like that once.
It went back to normal after a minute.
Didn't know that was a common problem on them.
My dude you are hilarious your videos are awesome please keep them coming
Great bike, have you thought about dropping the triple down the fork legs or re-valving the front?
Great review ✊🔥
Nice :) Thx for this great video once again

Why clean when it'll rain the minute you do 😂
Extra content! Was out on mine today, love that CP3 motor. Is there a story behind one gold lever but not a matching brake one?
Well thats an easy one... I haven't bothered yet 😅 The brake lever is patiently waiting in the garage. It'll be put on soon. Glad your XSR got a workout !
That exhaust's systems rusting looks like you have been riding through the ocean the whole time...lol
Love your content bro. Can you review the Triumph Street Triple RS. Its a 3 cylinder aswell
O2 Sensors go all the time its common on the exhaust.
Very useful and to the point
I had one of these from new, 2017, traded it in for a CB1000r, BIIIIGGGG mistake, looking to go back to this, loved it, miss it, want it
Really?? Why do you think it's a mistake ??
@@aboveworld8209 becuacse the Honda isn’t the same animal at all. No character, just the same as any other in line 4, it’s not a triple

Forgot to mention, dont bother cleaning it, its a waste of time, get a used one from a low miles bike, or a new one bud
Very interesting vid,no need for swearing .

Can’t make up mind do I want the Yamaha 900 or the Kawasaki 900?
Try em both and youll see. The urgency of the response of the triple will either make you love it or prefer the Kawa
Top content 👌

I have an entire bottle of ACF50 but I didnt use it nearly enough for the amount of miles and usage I did. Oh well, can always change the parts
2022 version is even better
