I’m a diabetic and I carry several tubes of cake icing, they typically have 15 grams of sugar and cost under $2.00
For this old Corpsman it was a good refresher and some new stuff! Thanks!!
Thank you for posting this video, this is one of the best videos on this topic!!!!
Funny to see this 8 months later and hear someone say "its almost over, just flatten the curve..."
They fooled a lot of people.
LMAO I called BS from the beginning. It's only going to get worse. people better put up or shut up 'cause we're heading for Australia territory.
i chuckled as well.
Excellent, caused me to make some changes to my kit. Note: first need is commo to call for help: a fully charged CellPhone. (ex 18D)
very awesome suff!!! thanks man!!
That was a very interesting video. I carry MFAK (My Fist Aid Kit) everywhere I go in my EDC bag even to sit in a dentist chair.
Really great video. Currently about to take my NREMT and have been wanting to put together something like this for at home. Really good videos man!
Fellow Hoosier watching! Great vid!
Awesome - Thanks!
Thanks for all the info, and taking the time to educate. I must be getting older, because I feel like I missed some of the content because of how fast the gentleman is talking. I couldnt talk that fast if i was bleeding to death!😉
Would love to see more medic videos!
I actually carry the Tablets in my range bag. I was diabetic but have since got it well under control and still carry to this day just in case. Tablets work fairly well.
Good for you! Both for carrying and managing the diabetes! Thanks for the comment!
I was told during a random conversation with someone that claimed to be a licensed EMT that you must be certified to apply a tourniquet. Is that true? I'm unable to find anything that states this is writing. They also stated if I were to apply a tourniquet to someone I can be held liable for complications from the tourniquet, and "good Samaritan law's" do not apply to the use of them.
Awesome video really appreciate the information
Thank you for the video
Really good stuff
Enjoyed the vid very much the info is invaluable. I want to learn more on the subject, my sister is a nurse she also helps me out. I did put together a trauma kit, learning along the way ofcourse, but I'm definitely an amatuer. Hopefully i will never have to use my kit, but I'll have it if i do or aid a professional who doesn't have his/her gear. Thx again! 👍
Love this. I’m thinking of getting into combat medicine myself. How long would you say your current training took to gather? Formal training that is.
Grt video ibwork as an emt keep a firstvaid bag at home small kits in all vehicles working on a snall edc trauma kit thats easily concealed
How do you feel about the RATS tourniquet?
I don’t buy Israeli products. Is there a good alternative to the Israeli bandage?
Wow, gr8 vdo on 1st Aid Kits. Clearly a gr8 & need 2 carry kit 4 almost any trauma. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.
question, i am preping for a 3000mi motorcycle trip and i want to have a afak with me but have zero idea of what needs to be in it, im riding w a group of about 15 people and would like it to cover the basic first aid stuff as well as trauma. is there a pre packed up kit that i could get and add too?
And special considerations for ifak in extreme cold -30f and lower?
Just watching this now and I'm laughing at the flatten the curve comment. I'll find another source for this info.
great stuff man. You have a FB page?
Thanks Man. I had one (technically still do) it became too much to keep current and I just do the RUclips and Instagram thing. @greystatemedic on IG
@@TheGreyState Noice, I don't have instagram, but keep the videos coming. Thanks man
Ya know in Australia paramedics don't like Quickclot?
Really? What about it don't they like? I'm trying to do a school paper and could take as much info as I can get.
@@gamingwithgerm0342
I've been told that in some cases minute partials can break of and travil through the body causing more probs than it fixes?
You can't find Quick clot in any Chemist readily for sale on shelves, Ambos and first responders that I've talked to haven't even heard of Quickclot, at least in QLD and NSW?
Good shit I miss Indiana I’m originally from south bend military kept me in Ga lol
Hoosier boys
You've got some rethinking ti do buddy
A year later still believe this bs flatten the curve
You know how I know you would be a great medical aid teacher? "mmkkk" fkin Dr. Grey up in this bich knows his shit
as he cant get them back in....
2 weeks that last 2 years to "flatten the curve"
Very interesting! As a civilian I still want to help anyone in need when I see I can help. Also in a different scenario saving my life is more important then eliminating the threat in a combatant situation! Its something to think about in any situation not just combat but everyday life as well...
Please stage your TQ.
