Jin's development up to Tekken 6 can be summed up in one phrase: History repeats itself. When he quoted "Power is everything" I got chills.
No matter how much Jin denies it, He's a Mishima. And I think in Tekken 6 He started to believe it. I don't know if it is canon or not but I heard after taking over the world. He named it as "Mishima" Country/Kingdom.
First Kazuya was corrupted by too much power in Tekken 2. Then Jin got corrupted in Tekken 6. But I think he is not that of a bad guy as he did all of that to prevent a greater evil from destroying whole Earth. Maybe he'll be a bit nice to people in Tekken 7.
aligamerable Jin probably won't have too much part in the main storyline of Tekken 7 Since its finally about Kazuya and Heihachi Finishing their business (And it is confirmed that one of them will die by the end of T7) so Jin doesn't have to he a Bad guy to save the world anymore.
@@aligamerable He went back on that in Tekken 7 it seems, even the announcer still refers to him as Jin Kazama, it's likely he named it Mishima to push the blame onto the Mishima Zaibatsu or simply named it after the organisation he now owned, or maybe he just didn't bother.
@@stanleykent4645 True, after Tekken 8 if Jin wins he can be the guy he was before Tekken 6, meaning I can root for him again, actually I can root for him right now in Tekken 7 too.
I still don't think Jin was very smart about Tekken 6, yes Azazel exists so Jin just wanted to speed up the process, why? Why not fill the world with positive energy and delay Azazel's resurrection indefinitely?
They shown more love to that cliff than each other. :P
I know, right?
Tekken series has taught me that :
1) Life has pain but everyone has the ability to overcome it
2) Life is Fair given that she's Unfair to everyone
3) and cliffs... They're not that useful as they could seem to be)😅
@@maxilin3729 more strong...
I really love Kazuya's talking voice... The voice actor was taylor made for this character.
It's sad to see that the only work he did was voicing kazuya.
I honestly thought he would be in a lot of anime seeing his talent and unique voice but i was disappointed to see that i was wrong.
I felt the same way about heihachi voice in this game😢
@@HeyMomonia wow really? dude must be rich, got a cozy work in namco and just do the Kazuya voice for the company or he blackballed because he literally throwing money out his pockets by not doing more voice work, his voice is Taylor made for villains or Yujiro Hanma type of characters that are always in animes
@@bujubanton3829 His comment is 12 years old but the right way to spell the word is "tailor" "Taylor" is a name
The art in this prologue is absolutely beautiful
The background music is also really good and sets the mood

Keeping Up WIth The Mishimas... xD
+Vaas Montenegro its not a mishima family reunion unless someone gets chucked off of a cliff.
Vaas Montenegro "Insanity.....is.....doing the exactly......same fucking thing, over and over again, expect shit to get change."
I guess Jin is technically a Mishima even though he doesn't like to think that, and he took his mother's last name not Kazuya's.
Everybody hates Kazuya 😂
"Power is everything"
Bakamen like father like son. Inevitable.
Who kill Jun Kazama?
@@megalon73 Ogre
@@EranDuran OH....SHIT!
Megalon73 she was presumed dead by Jin. She never actually died (officially)..
The MISHIMA family motto:

Vergil agrees with them😉
Kazuya is the best, i feel bad for him, he has a really bad childhood.
***** 8:06
Jin is the best.
Misogyny King Lars is the best! Haha
Itachi Uchiha Jin is u_u
***** Yeah kazuya had to go through the cliff, volcano,And he lost his mother And i think kazuya wasnt in tekken 3 maybe because he was in the volcano?
***** Kazuya is the best i agree He has amazing moves/hits,combos
Jin hates Kazuya because he is part of the Mishima bloodline. Ever since Heihachi tried to kill Jin in Tekken 3, Jin hated everything about the Mishimas (which is the reason why he changed his fighting style from the Mishima style to traditional karate in Tekken 4) And Kazuya doesn't necessarily hate Jin, he just wants the other half of his devil gene so he can have power. And Heihachi was just an asshole of a father to Kazuya
In Tekken ball Z a fanfiction after finding out Heihachi was mysteriously killed and in its universe jin doesn,t start a war he and kazuya get along.
+aiyachristian I will admit heihachi is an asshole of a father but he did say in the events of tekken one that if kazuya did not survive the fall he would be prepared to take his own life
+Scott Domiguez then why didn't he? Kazuya was already have been thought dead.
he's talking about the motion picture which is non canon
dont forget they locked their kazuyas grandiddy in the basement and blew the house up...
Jin :"If only my mother was still there..... That's all I wanted"
Me : *crying in the corner*
Same... also, what exactly happened to jun? All we ever got was that she disappeared after ogre came, and we don't have anything concrete on whether or not ogre actually killed her. And if she's alive, WHY DID SHE NOT INTERFERE WHEN JIN STARTED THE WAR!? She had to have been living in a cave to miss her son going full on world conqueror
@@yanyjc Ogres victims dropped from a lot to just about 2, king and Jun. unless Bandai retcons her to be alive, she and King1 are ogres only real victims.
@@yanyjc the war was necessary to draw forth Azazel. If Jin didn't kill him, Azazel would've wiped out humanity, if I recall.
@@yanyjc ogre seeked out the best fighters in the world to kill since he's a fighting god and jun fits the bill perfectly so he killed her
After I saw Tekken 8 trailer I think we might get the answer for this biggest mystery around Tekken series what happens to Jin's mother she could be alive since the creator said she went missing but didn't get killed by Orge
8:14 the music suddenly cuts, jin says his phrase, then complete silence... That's shivering
Heihachi is one tough bastard to survive getting almost killed after tekken 1
every now and again my family members throw each other off cliffs too, happened to me just last week with cousin ralph
Justin Morin It's tradition,u get use to it u know,ur mothers having a baby, sooo when is he gonna be old enough to be thrown out,I wanna be ready with my popcorn watching him...
I haven't had the cliff treatment since I was 5 years old. We don't live near cliffs anymore, that's probably why
Did you by chance get stronger after climbing out of it?
Jinpachi's moustache game on point
The Art here has to be some of my favorite from the series, I like how everything is presented too. The Black and White really makes it even more cooler.
Aww, I wish they'd shown more of Kazuya and Jun's relationship.
Neat movie, though.
Save it for Tk8 😌
@@pinkyboy8576 Was gonna say
This video is completely amazing. No words.
Even the ambient music is very soothing.
8:15 Anyone else get chills on hearing that??

"There was a woman...Jun Kazama. I totally did NOT had sex with her."
Hahahhah
HOW THE FUCK WAS JIN BORN THEN!?!!
tekkenpidia says kazuya ''mystriously'' impregnated jun. Drunk sex, anyone?
Kazuya *billl Clinton voice* "I did NOT have sexual relations with her"
I think Kazuya neither raped her, nor had drunk sex.
(I think) on manual of T2, it's written that mysterious forces beyond Jun's control are pulling her towards Kazuya.
To bad the mishima story will end in tekken 7... Loved the mishimas
Well finally Heihachi will die now for sure
Tekken 8 is last I guess..Coz Only jin n kazuya r left
akuma too probably whoever survives between jin and kazuya will go against akuma
Tekken games were my 1st fighting Video game. I'm pround to be a Tekken fan.
My question is when did Kazuya find the time to do the nasty with Jun Kazama? If I remember correctly, Jun was able to suppress Kazuya's devil form and that's what made Kazuya so interested in Jun.
On the official manual of Tekken 2. It's written that mysterious forces that are beyond her control are pulling her towards Kazuya.
aligamerable Either way, Jun and Kazuya still had time to do the nasty without anyone noticing.
@@irvinmorales1409 LOL
mysterious forces beyond control.. sounds like Libido.
Lars and Lee were lucky , they did not go through Kazuya's struggle from being thrown off the cliff
Or Jin's struggle with losing his mother, prior to Tekken 6 only Jin had lost a parent, and then his whole family wanted him dead afterwards too, even Jinpachi showed less mercy towards Jin than he did with Kazuya, Heihachi or Wang.
Jin's got it damn tough but people only look at Kazuya and Heihachi, two people who embrace that suffering to get stronger, unlike Jin who genuinely wants to put an end to all that.
Kazuya and Heihachi couldn't care less.
Lee had difficulties too. He was poor before Heihachi adopted him.
@@OneBoredCatbugUmm, Jinpachi seemed pretty hostile to Heihachi in Tekken 5. In fact, I think he's a bit more laid-back against Jin than he is against Heihachi. It's just that he never met Jin so he couldn't really care of who he could be. Same for all the characters that aren't Heihachi (even though Jinpachi hates him), Wang and Kazuya, Jinpachi just doesn't care about them, because they are strangers.
The score for this is amazing, gives me chills
6:33
It's at this moment you can't help but wonder if Jin knocked Heihachi out with just one punch.
Yeah, he looked at Heihachi like "Did I just hear the wind?"
Its just illustartion in art. Every fight in this video only had a single hit. Actually there was 3 rounds😅
Unlikely but it didn't seem like it was the toughest fight.
It seems as if it just skimmed right to the finishing blow and blew over the whole fight, I like to think of it like that.
Jins fight with Kazuya was described as fierce so there is no way Heihachi lost easily, unless Jin devil gene had already started to take over even before the cutscene.
Either way he is stronger than Old Heihachi cause he beat Lars once while Heihachi was outright overpowered
The Mishima's. More dramatic than the Skywalkers.
left out why kazuya lost to heihachi in the 2nd tournament namely the internal battle in his mind between angel and devil distracting him.
imagine if lars won the tournament and claimed the Mishima Zaibatsu
Power is everything
and lars will throw heihachi, jin, and kazuya off the cliff. Sigh, family traditions
Happy 20th Anniversary, Tekken!!
Wow! Time sure flies
Bro this whole recap is so underrated. Love how the voice changes with each power change.
I love that little tune that plays whenever Juns on screen.
I love the Mishimas, love this video! Especially Kazuya´s part when he talks about Jun...
Me too!

Rasmenda Rostami
:D
Short but nice
I like the relativism of the main characters.
Kazuya began as a renegade son who tried to overcome his father, then turned into a devilish entity. Jin was a son trying to avenge his mother and now is head of Mishima Zaibatsu and wants to destroy the world....
Theres no true good or evil. Love this!
I'm in love with Tekken I can never get enough I pop in T5 from time to time to play the first 3 classics... love it love it love it
>beats his superhuman granddad to unconsciousness in a supposedly sparring match
>beats a literal fighting god into pulp
>gets shot in the head, doesn't die
>beats both his Devil Dad and Superman Granfather one after another
>beats his great grandfather (who is another literal fighting legend)
>Sacrifices himself to beat another literal fighting god so he can (maybe) get rid of his devil gene
>is still alive and kicking
>(Also does all this while fighting off his devil gene)
Why is Jin so OP?
Hwoarang and Jin only got a draw before the events of TK3. Please do tell when he defeated Jin though, I don't remember it but wiki says so too.
And Lars didn't even beat him, Jin just stumbled then stood up like nothing happened, watch TK6 scenario campaign again.
[smuganimegirl.jpg]
In the end you can always say that the only reason why they could beat him was because Devil was confusing his mind (which canonically does happen)
Jin did not transform into Devil at his own will during T5. The Devil Gene took over his body.
STALKER because he's Jin Kazama
Who u main tho lmao
@B.B aka Big Bad Hood Lars is a mishima so its not abnormal .
Tekken 7 will reveal all!
King Jae 1 year later
Heihachi is dead And this time is for real bruh.
@Vince McMahon
He is dead because his voice actor passed away.
That's how it works,its respect.
Everyone is playing the smartass bringing up examples of how many things Hei survived but they don't understand the true reason why he was killed off and why he won't be back, storyline atleast,I guarantee you he will be playable like Kazumi, maybe being a ghost like her and haunting his family if you play against him,I bet on it
I have seen this like 5 times already but I keep coming back cause this is just awesome
So much better than T7 stories, you can really feel the effort nd characteristics in T6.
Last good Tekken franchise
Remember that there is a comment that even explains how history in the mishima family just repeats itself
That was the interesting part about all of it and t7 ruined it by making all of it mostly non canon
Facts Tekken 6 is great i love it, it was hands down the last good Tekken game in the franchise
@@BEER-OTFG Exactly most of that story made no sense especially the part with Akuma showing up outta no where in the Mishima storyline, as much as i love Akuma (Favorite Street Fighter Character) along with the fight between him and Heihachi i'm not gonna act like that wasn't illogical putting another character from a different franchise into the main story because Tekken 7 isn't a crossover game despite the DLC's with Geese, Noctis and Negan being in the game
Did anyone else notice that Kazuya's new Voice Actor mimicked the Tekken 2 version of his voice for the Tekken 2 cutscene battle quotes?
力こそ全てだ!
Chikara koso subete da
RIP Daisuke Gori (Heihachi's VA). That booming voice of your's really made Heihachi what he is: Utterly ruthless, calculating and intimidating.
Heihachi's other Voice Actor doesn't do that bad a job either, gotta give some credit even if we can't hear Daisuke's voice anymore.
*throws him off cliff* What!? He's alive!?
*throws him off cliff* What!? He's alive!?

*throws him off cliff* What!? He's alive!?
The reason Jin wins is simple: He has something to lose. His motivation to keep going when he could just give up lies beyond the person greed of Kazuya and Heihachi. Jin has people around him who he cares about and who care about him. If he didn't have Xiaoyu, Hirano, Hwoarang, and Panda he'd be just like his predecessors and he would lose.
Facts he has a drive bigger than the other mishimas
They could hav so made a good movie with this!
No they couldn't. They tried and we got Blood Vengeance. They come up with good ideas for stories and character development but never make it connect with the rest of the characters. Alot of them don't even exist to one another.
but they never actually tried to stick to the actual story when making the movies, and i mean the actual game stories, not the blood vengeance thing, which wasnt horrible, but wasnt good either
DarkKnight2037 you never played Spoonys drinking game with Blood Vengeance, did you? I got hammered in 20 minutes. (Take a shot if they never explain something from the games thats in the gsme, take 2 if it contradicts something from the games.) And the Tekken Anime tried to follow tekken 1 2 and 3, but was crap. The 2010 movie just took a handful of characters, the tournement structure and made a crappy story (surpringly it was more entertaining though)
i hated the 2010 movie, out of all of them, i only liked the old anime movie they made
I'd take the 2010 version over both official tekken movies. Blood Vengeance's main sin is it's supposed to be canon, like Resident Evil Degeneration and Retribution (degeneration was good, Retribution was utter shit, but so was the 2 games it was trying to bridge.) The Anime had awful writing, crap animation and everything was flimsy. The 2010 movie, at least there were awesome fight scenes and it was cool to see some of the characters looking alot like the games, with a few exceptions, and it tried to explain the story better than either official movie. (still crap though.)
Jin's my favorite Tekken character. He beat his father, grandfather as well as great-grandfather in a short amount of time, and his uncle Lars is next. Tekken should just keep him a extremely top tier character based on that fact alone. Who can stop this man?
Still waiting for TEKKEN 8, the final father son battle between Jin and Kazuya. Hopefully the Devil Gene curse will be vanquished from both of them.

Heihachi is Tekken itself
Unfortunately, I wish they market Jin more, but interesting fact Heihachi is Harada's favorite character.

Powerful stuff! can't wait til the game comes out! Namco did a great job on this!!
Those prologues are one on the best contents in Tekken 6, i watch them over and over again at the time
I like Lars!
I hate how they retconned Heihachi's reason for throwing Kazuya off a cliff in the first place and Kazuya's reason for inheriting the power of the Devil just to haphazardly introduce Kazumi, a badly designed character which was a completely pointless, footnote of a character, that took away from Kazuya as a character and in turn caused Heihachi to do a bizarre character u-turn in some ill-conceived attempt to make him sympathetic, Heihachi does not need to be a sympathetic anti-hero, he was a perfect villain up until that point and he was complex enough as a villain, just because he was a rotten human being doesn't mean he was never up to any good, as it's been established otherwise throughout the series, taking his personality and backstory away like that was a terrible decision imo and it's just the cherry on top of the messed up sundae that was Tekken 7's story, Tekken 6 story might've been a misstep and a distraction, but Tekken 7's story was a disaster.
WE NEED A MOVIE ON THIS STORY!!

My heart is breaking everytime Jun is being mentioned a few times in the prologue.
Tekken 7: Lars turns out to be one of many clones and Jin is the good guy again.
Oh boy, thank you for this information C:
@1:33 minute the reason why Kazuya lost Tekken 2....he wasn't fully focused.
The reason Kazuya beat Heihachi in Tekken 1 is because Heihachi had neglected his training. In Tekken 2 Kazuya had done the same thing while Heihachi was training like an asshole for 2 years.Kazuya lost easily but then he transformed into Devil Kazuya since he was desperate.Devil Kazuya was much stronger than Heihachi but Heihachi managed to win because Angel and Devil were struggling inside Kazuya, which made him lose focus since he was having a fight with his father and a mental fight at the same time.In Tekken 4 Kazuya lost to Heihachi again.I really hate the treatment Kazuya is getting since he is my favourite Tekken character.
He lost to Jin too ahahhaaha
Uto Resa 519 he didn't lose to heihachi in 4.
Uto Resa 519 He actually beat Heihachi in Tekken 4 and technically he is tournament winner
Power is everything.
Jin is the best.

I always loved how insanely vague the Devil Gene was to Jin during Tekken 3 events. He swore he died & then remembers nothing on how he lived.
Get ready for the Next Battle!!!!!!
i can't wait for the next installment!
Why do they keep throwing each other from the same cliff. As like they didnt know after the 3rd time this wouldnt kill them lol
No the last one was a volcano that heihachi throw him
Mishima Family Tradition
This all would never happen if heihachi didn't threw kazuya of a fucking cliff, and started a coup d'etat against jinpachi (In short, if heihachi was never born)
Thank you
I know! I cannot wait!!
The curse of this bloodline can be traced back to that one woman.
And that is Kazumi, who inevitably made matters worse.
Before this game Kazumi was never even planned so...
Family Of Catbugs she was, actually.
Tcb bct yes, she was technically by the charcter’s name. Obviously, she died because it was shown in T7. (In lore of the story). Harada, has the idea there is a reference before the character’s development, backstory. It is interesting, look it up🙂..
Tcb bct I know but dude chill😂.. I still love the game. 😄 dorm Tekken’s have better story arc’s, character roster, and character development. I am just simply stating the fact that the name and the idea derived from an older Tekken. I am hoping that T8, will have a better narrative. I think if improvement on the story development. It would make Tekken even more popular.
Tcb bct I hope better characters are added for DLC’s in the future... bringing back some more highly requested fan favorites. 😄
KAZUYA IS THE BEST !
Tekken 8 pretty much needs to go back to Jin’s child hood with Jun and Orge and what happen during that whole event. Did Jun Die? No by Harada’s old tweets on twitter. So it’s possible she could be in the roster or a actual appearance in the story of tekken 8 with the battle of Kazuya and Jin with Jun possibly being involved.
the guitar is so sad...like the story of mishimas
Tekken 1 Kazuya
Thus him leading the zaibatsu at the begining of Tekken 2
Tekken 2 Heihachi wins
Tekken 3 Jin defeated ogre but did not take over the zaibatsu
thus Heiachi still in control at the begining of tekken 4
Tekken 4 Jin defeated kazuya and heihachi but fled away at the end
Jinpachi surfaced at the beginning of tekken 5
Tekken 5 Jin defeated Jinpachi to assume control over the zaibatsu
So Jin only won 1 tournament officially all the others were no contest
the 1st three tekken stories (Mishima related)were amazing.
Kazuya getting revenge on his evil father in Tekken 1
Kazuya becoming an even more ruthless owner of the Mishima Zaibatsu and having the whole Devil/Angel conflict which arguably was the reason he was defeated by Heihachi
Heihachi thinking he Killed Kazuya and the whole Ogre thing with Jin, the son of kazuya and jun seeking revenge, getting betrayed by Heihachi and introducing his devil alter ego
years goes and they still alive the ultimate family
It would be awesome if they did this for EVERY character!
Tekken 7 story is going to be goooood. I really hope young Kazuya is playable.

Wow. That was damn well done. Good shit Namco. And jeez I didn't realize that Jin beat every damn Mishima by himself. He's a lot stronger than I thought.
1:16 it's the new york division of mishima zaibatsu i think, you can see the metlife and the citycorp
Awesome.
so much better than the movie and faithful
Man this was an interesting story of the Mishimas. To be honest with everyone I am actually hoping that when or if the creator makes Jin become a father then his child should be a girl because having a daughter might have Jin softing up(probably just a little bit) even though he'd still be a bit the same, but he may be kind of a different person to his daughter. & I pray that unlike Heihachi & Kazuya, Jin will be a hell of a bettter dad to his daughter who might even remind her dad of Jun.
Cause of Mishima bloodline was mentioned, when Heihachi shot Jin on back at the end Tekken 3, even thru he take care of him.
Power is Everything.
Mishima's family tradition: throw your family member into a cliff, volcano, and from a helicopter (if Heihachi's Tekken 3 ending was canon) :p
3:05 to 3:14 is my favorite part, it's beautiful... Jin is so pure!
Speechless.. All i have to say is......WHAT AN EPIC...!
they can make a movie off this story line it would be awesome
