Rest in peace, Joseph Joestar Professor Oak Papa Dino Golzine Mr. Satan Jet Black and more especially Heihachi Mishima's voice actor. You will be missed.
Everything he had gone through, the things he did, had all built up to that one fight. And in that moment he thought all was lost, so Kazuya put everything he had into that final punch.
Tekken 8: The King Saga Everyone around King is speaking in Japanese, Mandarin, English, French, Portugese, Spanish... King will just be communicating with roars and growls, and yet everybody agrees to just pretend to understand him.
Miguel Ayala More than likely yes, if you watch the last scene Jin said it’s up for him to kill kazuya. Probably already knew that from how long your comment was published but thought I’d threw that in there anyway!
@Nappysamurai Old age/natural causes. its a coincidence he happened to pass away around the same time his long played character Heihachi was killed off.
Yeah, Heihachi should stay dead. His arc is over and his story has concluded. I don't want him to be a devil (that would destroy his character) nor do I want him to magically live. Let him die.
@@dotpixel2226 That to me is preferable to just straight up bringing him back as a Devil or the like. Losing him would be sad for me, simply because I love playing him, but for the sake of the story, his death should stick. (I know expecting the main villain of your franchise to stay dead and continuing forward like nothing happened is unrealistic, but I really hope it dose this time.)
@@lordquaz7154 I mean they could introduce something like a "Robo Heihachi" who has no influence in the story but gives people the chance to use Heihachis moveset in T8 still. That's the only issue with character deaths in fighters, people potentially loosing their main without some form of sensible replacement.
@@EnerKaizer Dotpixel already proposed a good idea on the matter, bringing him back in a flashback. That way he can still be in the franchise while canonically being dead, but a robo Heihachi could be a funny idea.
9:15 you noticed how heihachi was going for head hits while kazuya was attacking the body only? Heihachi just wanted to end him quick (brain trauma or knockout) while kazuya wanted him to feel every blow with pain (attacking the lungs and heart)
Saw violet stuff after Kazuya s final punch? Its the Devil Gene(If you watched Tekken 3 intro, you probably saw how this thing left Jin with tatto). Heihachi got injected by it(kinda). If he survived, Devil Gene is the only reason. But still it be dum, since Tekken 7 ,,final,, between Mishimas fight.
MaverickZero0 it can happen because for one they didn't explain if Heihachi did use his wife dna(or even explain what he did with his wife's body) in him while securing orge dna and failing to capture Kazuya's dna after finding out his remains were retrieved by the rival corporation Genocell Corp. He probably use her dna as his last option. Or he can comeback like his father a vengeful demonic Heihachi.
@@borederlands5387 Wouldn't really make sense considering this takes place years after that game's release. But I will say Heihachi being in all stars dimmed his chances.
I think it's quite telling that Heihachi was able to overpower Kazuya's strongest Devil form, but ended up losing to human Kazuya instead. For all the years of both Heihachi and Kazuya wanting more power, they always had all the power they needed inside of them. It's kind of sad.
Heihachi was just very desperate against True Devil Kazuya. The theme of the fight was called "Desperate Struggle"for crying out loud. Like how in real life a human can achieve greats feats when their life is threatened, you know those stories,we have all heard stories of even women pushing cars away to save their life or their children etc. kazuya didnt feel threatend at all cause he was far stronger and superior being overall(remember he didnt steal these powers, its not cheating,he is simply not a human so why should he have to fight like one)
@@killinghawkz probably because he's the legacy character which most smash character are. and since Heihachi has already have one in PlayStation all star. It make sense Kazuya is going to get his first crossover and Jin probably the next one in another fg franchise
The sad thing is, Heihachi *knew* he was going to die the moment he saw Kazuya still alive back in T4. Afraid by the power of Kazumi and subsequently Kazuya by hereditary inheritance, he thought he was protecting humanity by killing Kazuya before he became like his mother Kazumi. By throwing Kazuya from the top of that volcano, Heihachi was certain he ended the devil bloodline but when Jin came into the picture, he perhaps thought that his grandson, uninfluenced by any previous devil gene user (namely Kazuya or Kazumi) would give him the opportunity to do things differently but he eventually couldn't completely part ways with his fear of the devil gene and betrayed Jin in the end. Then the worst possible thing happened, Kazuya came back and with a vengeance against his father. His only hope would be that Jin and Kazuya either killed each other or were both sufficiently weak for him to finish the job and end the devil bloodline once and for all. But unfortunately, Jin's Kazama blood kept him from ever going full murder mode and it left Heihachi in a state where he knew his death was inevitable as Kazuya was still coming for him. The son killed the father and as things go, the son will kill the father again and the cycle might repeat itself. In the end, it all lies on Jin now as Kazuya winning would probably mean the end of humanity at this point.
They change the story all the time originally Kazuya made a pact with the devil that he'd stay alive to kill Heihachi and let the devil consume him all that Devil Gene stuff was simply added on later
@@navylaks2 The games never suggested such a thing. That misconception took weight thanks to the animated movie and people just went with it. You can read T1 and T2 manuals to confirm it.
@@fightingmedialounge519 It still doesn't say that he made the deal with a devil. Don't get me wrong, Devil is still a different entity as seen in devil Jin and Kazuya's T4 ending. But the concept of Kazuya making the deal with a devil is not in the manuals from what I've read. That's purely the animated movie.
3:07 This whole sequence is so hype. The flashbacks reeling in as they deliver devistating blows, not to mention Heat Haze Shadow blaring in the background. So HYYYPEEE
I know, playing through the boss fight had me on the edge of my seat going like "who gets to throw the other off the volcano" I didn't think it would be into the volcano tho lol
You know, after some time, I've given this fight some thought. I've always hated those moments in games where you get into an intense fight against a major boss only to trigger a cutscene where the player's character gets defeated. always seemed like bullshit to me as well. the issue is, I feel like it was a case where it was a conflict of interest between story and gameplay being put together. If you think about it gameplay wise, it simply doesn't feel right if you were to play as Kazuya the whole time and then just beat the shit out of a human while playing as someone who is boss material. But on the other hand, this whole story was set up to be Heihachi's last fight and ultimately the end of his life at the hands of Kazuya. To me, it ends up being you playing as Heihachi to make Kazuya really earn his last victory against Heihachi as this actually is a literal repeat of the final fight from Tekken 2 where Heihachi defeats Devil Kazuya and throws Kazuya into the volcano, except this time it's different. Kazuya doesn't stay down. He gets up one last time as purely a human to put an end to the feud once and for all in his favor after several other failed attempts to avenge himself since Tekken 2.
Imo, there should have been a last phase where you could control normal Kazuya against Heihachi, this way, it would've felt right to have him lose to his kid like that
Heihachi beat Devil, not Devil Kazuya, whom was part of a struggle with Kazuya and Angel and he was also weakend by Jun Kazamas influence. Devil has power not skill like Kazuya,it was alsp stated in the manual for Tekken 3 that HUMAN Kazuya was able to seriously injure Heihachi in their fight and that Heihachi won by willpower. The same Kazuya that was confused due to the whole mental struggle as well as seemigky slacking of his training after killing Heihachi(he only trains for vengeance, while Heihachi legit loves martial arts, this is my eyes is a big disadvantage for Kazuya) In tekken 7 Kazuya was in control but to be fair this form was new and propably not mastered yet which may have caused him to drop out of it Otherwise i agree fully with the comment,Heihachi wouldnt go down until he died by his human son
I still can't believe the strory between these 2 is done... it's over... Kazuya & Heihachi were the very heart & soul, the core of Tekken... Their rivalry was such a HUGE part of my childhood all the way back to the original Tekken... thats why I LOVE how during this fight you see flashbacks to the past Tekken games... That final punch at 10:38 had 7 games... 26 years worth of anger behind it Now all I know, is if Tekken 8 is the FINAL Tekken game, Harada better tie up the loose end and give the fans closure... Is Jun Kazama alive or not... we only seen her in Tekien 2 & the Tekken Tag games and the Tag ganes aren't canon to the actual Tekken story So if Tekken 8 is the final piece of the story, that question needs to finally be answered... if shes alive its only fitting she finally shows up at the final showdown between Jin & Kazuya to end it all... would love for Tekken to finally end with Jin, Kazuya & Jun all in the same place at the same time... that's never happened before
I've not had goosebumps playing a game like this since the suicide mission of Mass Effect 2. This last fight was fucking amazing. The music, the atmosphere, the flashbacks (the first one of Kazuya holding the gun gave me chills) and Heihachi's death at the end. It was masterfully created. Watching Heihachi, who we've all grown up to know as a scumbag, face his inner demons, his wife and his son and hold back against everything thrown against him like a true hero was insane. And even watching him die, I couldn't hate Kazuya because he's just as tormented as Heihachi was, he needed to end Heihachi or he'd never be at peace. Fantastic storytelling and I can't wait from Kaz vs Jin in Tekken 8.
FEELS!!!!! Well said. The last fight was a culmination of all those feelings. Tormented family and a fitting way for Heihachi to go out. T8 squares up nicely for Jin vs Kaz. I just feel Akuma was a bit wasted in all of this however. Didn't fulfill his mission so what is next for him? Hes technically Tekken cannon w/kazumi but is it a one and done deal in T7?
Lord Cognito Damn right man! I couldn't imagine Heihachi going out any other way and I'm hyped for Tekken 8. I just hope since Jin is the lead this time around, we'll see more of characters like Hwoarang and Xiao, since they're a big part of Jin's arc. And I agree, I am a little confused on what the deal is with Akuma. I think the problem is they wrote themselves into a corner with it. I honestly love how they included him in the story rather than just putting him in the game for no reason and his motivation for being in the game was cool (though I didn't particularly enjoy playing as him). The problem is, on one hand, having Kazuya die at the hands of a guest character would just feel like stroking Capcom's ego, and a slap in the face to long-time Tekken fans who want to see it end the right way - at the hands of a character just as iconic to Tekken as Kazuya is. But on the other hand, you can't kill off a character as iconic as Akuma outside of his own universe, that'd rub all the SF fans the wrong way and it wouldn't feel fitting for someone who is so synonymous with one franchise to be killed off in another franchise. Still cool how they included him, I'm just curious as to how they get around it.
Totally spot on with your Akuma synopsis. They boxed themselves narratively because they clearly cant piss off both fan bases. Dont get me wrong, i LOVE that he was included in the kazumi arc, but was just very weak to me that although Akuma defeated Hei, he wouldn't be intelligent enough to know he wasnt dead! lol It was the RIGHT call for Kazuya to kill Hei however. I think we get proper story modes for Hwoarang and Jin arc characters in T8. Definitely a conscious decision by Harada to let Jin sit T7 this go round for the sake of Mishima history.
Lord Cognito Maybe we'll get something like Akuma abandoned the promise to Kazumi after finding out she held the devil gene (it's unlikely considering Akuma is hardly a moralistic character or capable of judging others for using dark power) unless they're serious about bringing him back for 8. Although thankfully they've built Heihachi into such a badass that Akuma didn't look bad for not killing him, considering it took everything Kazuya had to put him down. And I'm glad they kinda shelved Jin for this game, otherwise it could've just ended up a complete clusterfuck for such a short story. Hopefully they let some of the other characters in on the story next time, and not go all Soul Calibur 5 on us by putting Jin as the be-all and end-all of the story.
I would like Tekken 8 to be a two part video game. The destruction of the devil gene and the complete annihilation of the Hachijo bloodline and the devil gene it comes with. Also I don't mind if Lars being the new Mishima CEO instead of Jin
Aleksandar Tasevski i don't think Jin would have a kid , he wanted to die without children but he probably will have one with xiaoyu when he lose his devil gene
Honestly, in Tekken 8, I think it’ll be the final one because Tekken 7 solved the story for the Mishima viewpoint. Now, it’s time to see if Jun is actually dead or alive and if kazuya would die. Maybe, jin can be freed from the devil gene after they stopped the war.
As a Jin fanboy, the post-credits scene of him controlling the devil gene gave me major goosebumps. I can’t wait for the final showdown of him and Kazuya in Tekken 8.
That's how you do an epic battle. Multiple stages, great music that changes according to the state of the fight and making the battle personal than ever between the two.
Smart1529 you missed the point. the franchise claimed he was dead multiple times. when he died, people said "rip heihachi" but he cam back. now he's dead again, so we have to say it again. so, rip heihachi...again
Bank21khz The only time they really claimed him dead was when raven did it I thought. even that was in the "you know He's really alive " kinda way. unless he missed the lava. he's gone for good this time. it would make more sense
Problem with this quote is that it assumes that in any culture the kids actually question any of their parents moral choices in parenthood and I think everyone knows for a fact (especially white Americans in my experience) that they mostly don’t, cause most people want to love their parents which is a problem socially and internationally. The only time people disagree heavily with their parents overtime is if they were dealt a bad hand and went through personal problems with them, like actual abuse (which is not the only reason to judge your parents), but otherwise gratitude and unconditional love is what keeps people from actually judging their parents.
Just finished this story mode and honestly....I just feel empty...Not empty in a bad way but empty as in I don't know what to feel....Heihachi was a despicable person who deserved to be beat for everything he has put the world and his son through...But he was also an emotionally broken man who used to love but no longer does, due to an attempt on his life...He was a man with fists of iron...The one true King of Iron Fist...R.I.P Heihachi Mishima.....
heihachi was at his peak in every way in t3. after that it was very slowly downhill as he was still great in t4 but after that he was noticeably weaker and slower in 5,6,7,
Fuck that revisionist bullshit. Heihachi was rotten to the core ever since the beginning. Bastard got what he deserved. Kazuya only looks more evil retroactively because Heihachi has a better sense of humor about things. If you look past that, Heihachi is definitively the worse of the two evils.
@@megabuster3940 you kiddin right? how was heihachi bad in anyway? he loved his family so much but his own wife betrayed and tried to kill him (she had the devil gene), so he had to kill her in self defence. he wanted to end the devil gene bloodline once and for all to save the world from destruction so he had to throw his son off a cliff.
@@megabuster3940 i have played every tekken from 1 to 7, but didn't find heihachi to be an evil person at all. he always got betrayed by his own family members, his father, jinpachi tried to assume control over the mishima while heihachi was away, his wife tried to kill him. he always minded his business until some other person came to interrupt it
Nah man. You're wrong. The only people that loved Kazuya were Jinpachi, Kazumi and Jun Kazama. Kazuya discovered Kazumi's true intentions in T7 but he didn't believe it. Since all of them are dead (Jun is alive but thought dead) thus Kazuya has become all evil.

I'm glad they gave Heihachi a proper send off. After spending the last 3 games as a comic relief, not only is he treated completely seriously but he gets to go out with a bang
Rewatching this after seeing TK8's amazing final battle... This just shows how strong Heihachi was, throwing hands with the Demon Lord and giving Kaz the trauma he had before... This was a great way to end his era and now Kazuya hopefully be "cured" by Jun after the events of TK8
Trauma isn't necessarily about beating someone up. Heihachi abused him when he was a kid, it still stings to Kazuya (and other abused chidlren) until adulthood.
11:45 This is why Heihachi survival in Tekken 8 is bullshit, Kayuza drops him and his view stays like that for a while, as if he makes sure that he really falls into the lava, there is no way in hell he would be unable to see someone saving Heihachi
@@EggscellentTreeare you really trying to make excuses for their stupid writing 😂? Bruh this cannot be defended at all I’m sorry I love Tekken but goddamn

1. Throwing off his own son from a cliff (just to check devil gene?? C'mon you can do a blood test or something)after years of neglect and abuse. 2. Adopted a kid just to make his own son feel jealous and miserable 3. Beat up his father and buried him alive. 4. Shot his grandson without a hint of remorse. 5. Killing millions in his quest for world domination. Heihachi a 'good guy'...???Lmfao...😂😂😂
Ok he didn't kill millions but the other stuff is true.Shit the war propably only killed thousands it really didn't last more than a few months under Jin atleast.Heihachi has propably killed dozens by his own hands and hundreds by ordering the tekken force. But even one of the things you mentioned make him horrible.
Divine Legend While there is not much evidence to say Kazuya used his powers it's likely that in his extreme rage devil gene kinda boosted him,not transform though.I also think there is that quote about him utilizing such powers in manual or something, could be wrong not sure.
Angra Mainyu The only ones who defeated Heihachi without devil gene: 1)Kazuya(Tekken 1, Tekken 4); 2)Jin(Tekken 3(Before got shot), Tekken 4, Tekken Blood Vengeance(before Heihachi gets Mokujin powers)); 3)Lars(Tekken 6); 4)Akuma(Tekken 7);(basically Satsui no Hado is not Devil Gene. Its the power from special martial art)
motherfucker killed his full powered demon wife, took an Akuma insta death raging demon, fought base Kazuya, beat the literal devil out of full powered demon Kazuya AFTER taking a concentrated mega laser beam or whatever the fact Devil Kazuya's rage art was, and all the while being a regular ass human. Who is also old. And he achieved that just by pure training and grit lmao.
Honestly this story mode wasn’t bad and this fight was literally what I had been waiting for since I discovered this series back in high school. One of the most memorable fights in a video game
That's only now in 2017. The story mode is good. Nobody knew if Tekken 7 would exist . Tekken 5 was in my school days. And how in mind you discovered this series back in high school
How I want Tekken 8 to end, even though it most likely won’t. Jin kills Kazuya the same way, Kazuya killed Heihachi. and right before throwing him into the lava, Kazuya tells Jin he’s proud of him for being able to defeat him and finally acknowledges him as his son. After dying in the lava, Kazuya wakes up in Jun Kazama’s lap. She smiles at him and Kazuya peacefully smirks back at her, happy to spend his eternity with her. Years pass and Jin has rebranded the Mishima Zaibatsu to his image once again, but this time, unlike back in Tekken 6, he uses it to rebuild the world he, Kazuya, and Heihachi had almost destroyed. He runs the company with Xiaoyu, who he had finally married and the two have two kids a girl and a boy named Jun and Kazuya. Panda and Kuma are their pets. Hwoarang takes over Baek’s dojo to honor his late master’s memory. His rivalry with Jin still continues to this day. Marshall Law continues his restaurant business like usual, but Forest and Paul Phoenix would go on to compete and win future King of Iron Fist tournaments, where the two would make enough money to rebuild and rebrand Paul’s failed dojo, where many young aspired fighters would sign up and train on a daily basis. Forest would also eventually meet and marry his first wife and have his first child. Steve is finally accepted and acknowledged by Nina as her son and the two finally build a mother and son relationship. Nina steps away from her life as an assassin and finally ends her family feud with Anna. The two would go in to watch and support Steve as he restarts his boxing career and easily becomes the world champion once again. Yoshimitsu was informed by Kunimitsu 2 that Kunimitsu 1 had fallen ill, so he decides out of care for his former pupil, he finds a cure for her and she has since made a full recovery. Kunimitsu 2 expresses her gratitude by becoming Yoshimitsu’s student where the latter gladly accepts. These are just the characters that I mainly like to play, I don’t really have a ending for every one else.
@@chuckingreaper8654 Instead of repeating the same thing.... Imagine. So if Jin Defeating Kazuya in Tekken 8. Doesn't necessarily mean that Kazuya dies. Judging from it though they will fight. More than that I could see Jin becoming more evil as a result of killing Kazuya. If so I'd imagine the nmgame after that would be Jin vs The World. I'd imagine he'd lose power possibly after everything he's done and be betrayed. Which would force him to find ways to become more powerful. This might be where Tekken 9 starts. Jin become this symbol of Destruction and humanity must rise to Destroy him. Lol. It would also be interesting if as he does this. Jin somehow gets a son. Lol. This would really complicate things especially if the child was used to as a Trump Card against humanity forcefully. They would need to bring in new characters and people for sure. But knowing Tekken there's always going to be something. I also want a Street Fighter X Tekken 2. But one that's actually cannon to the Tekken Universe. Just because Akuma is in T7. They could literally make a Tekken Styled SF and man that would be epic.
@@OPTIMUMELITE Or maybe Jin spares Kazuya. There's a very real chance that Jun appears in Tekken 8 (even Harada states that Jun is very important to both characters and that her official status is missing), and Jin' vision of his mother made him spare Heihachi (and Kazuya) in Tekken 4, so if she appears she might persuade him to spare Kazuya. We know that it is possible to extract the devil gene from a person, like how Azazel's orb will drain the devil gene from a person (Tekken 6 devil jin ending), and even Kazuya extracts Jin's half in his non-canon Tekken 4 ending. I know Kazuya by himself is evil at this point, but his half smile might be an indicator that despite his claims of fully absorbing the Devil's personality, it still affects him. If Jin manages to fully control his devil half, then he might be able to beat Kazuya and then absorb Kazuya's half. Of course, this won't make Kazuya instantly good, but might clear his mind a little, or make him even more vengeful. This would break the cycle of son killing father, make Jin follow his mother's teachings and reduce Kazuya's menace to the world. The question is if Jin will commit suicide after doing so. Since Lars can match regular Kazuya and is a good Mishima, Jin might feel that he is enough to take care of Kazuya once he's dead.
@@116_tanzeel7 I'm new to tekken and I never played this game before but on the last boss fight I like how you play as the evil dude and still lose but out of every game I played this was the best boss battle I ever had
That shit was intense. Like him or not. Heihachi was the best of the best. Unkillable. Unstable. Unstoppable. For a very long time. Always coming back. He had one hell of a video game history.
Tekken 7: Kazuya kills his father, Heihachi. Tekken 8: Jin kills his father, Kazuya ??? But seriously, this final fight was so epic, the music, the flashbacks, everything! :)
Rapture idk about that Kazuya is probably not gonna die because there is numerous reasons why, if you played all the games read the guides and understand Kazuya's role in the games. Kazuya is the main focus point of the game yeah we know that his son the protagonist of the series now but he wasn't the main focus, Kazuya doesn't really know why his father wants to kill him( which Heihachi didn't really wants to do it for the heck of it for obvious reasons), he doesn't know about the Hachijos and their true intentions, he doesn't why a specific part of the G-Corp wants to kill him and Heihachi, He didn't explain of how both Jun and him came a thing( plus don't know yet about angelic powers), and the number 1 thing he doesn't know that Devil is infact the main influencer/controller of his evil intentions. Killing Kazuya is not a simple task for the devs/Harada because he a character that made Tekken of what it is. Jin will fight his father but he won't kill him because Jin doesn't know why his father behave this way, why his mother became intimate to him, and why he didn't came when he was young and stop Orge. Jun's blood is another factor of why he won't accomplish the kill just like the conclusion of Tekken 4, Jun doesn't allow her son to kill someone who she knows who are troubled and love. Jinpaichi was a exception because he cannot regain of his body which the vengeful demonic spirit would eventually control his entire being. Kazuya can be stop by unharmful means because his soul is trapped by Devil/Hachijo clan influence. Jun needs to comeback, Jin needs to realize the history of his grandma's clan/Devil/Kazuya, and Asuka needs to stop Jin because she too possess the same angelic blood of her non-blood related clan relatives that is the mirror version of the Devil Gene.
I have a feeling that in Tekken 8, Kazuya will be the main antagonist as he uses both his Devil Gene and G. Corp. to further make the war even worse and to terrorize.
Who's here after playing tekken 8 story to see if heihachi really felt into the lava. Which is clear, kazuya saw him falling into the Lava yet in Tekken 8 the monk came out of nowhere and kazuya watched him 😂. They ruined the franchise just to show this old man.
Yes, his Voice Actor was a great guy for bringing the voices of many characters from our beloved animes, games etc. But let's be real here, in the story of Tekken, Heihachi was a massive piece of shit.
This ending totally took me by surprise. The Tekken story has been apart of my life for about 18 years and, although I never really understand the story, I always perceived Heihachi as the ultimate bad guy. I genuinely felt bad for him in that, he was actually a good guy who turned evil after he lost everything he loved. Perhaps that's the message of his story arc. The potential for awesome destructive power has its maximum effectiveness when we experience loss. It's during loss that we must be at our strongest and fight the hardest!
Heihachi was a piece of useless shit from day one when he imprisoned his father all the way to when he killed Kazumi and threw Kazuya away and going even further beyond until his death. If you perceive this character as any form of ''good'' there is something wrong with you.
@@Raver-1601 So none of the pre-2015 source material hinted at Heihachi being damaged goods? Because I can see how hardcore fans would be upset if this was 100% made up for Tekken 7.
It was 🐯Heihachi's monstrous actions which turned Kazuya into a monster. It shows how abuse can turn a kind and docile child into a wicked man. Tekken 7 makes you feel bad for both Heihachi and Kazuya as both were victims of circumstances beyond their control. Kazuya still has a heroic side he got from Heihachi, so he still has a chance.
Basically the one to blame for everything is Kazumi, the game tries to paint her as an angel but she was the one to damn them both... she was the original devil, literally
@@konnosx1213 the sad part of kazumi was the reason she tried to kill heihachi was because of what he was gonna do in the future and because of the monster kazuya would become. The irony is that her trying to prevent this future is what set it in motion.
@@xcx005 kiiinda Her clan had seen the future that he will be evil They send her to murder him and as a result he became evil I am not saying Heihachi wasnt to blame For what he did to Kazuya later was exceedingly dickish But his original hatred of devils was cause by Kazumi who approached him only with the intent to kill him Then fell in love and developed a split personality
I am going to miss Heihachi, he was such a devious, tenacious, and a very entertaining villain. I don't think the Tekken series will be the same without him since he was the main villain for 20 years straight.
This fight is emotional asf man I love When you get the good hits and it shows cutscenes of older games and when heihachi says ill snap you like a twig and Kazuya says "I'll destroy everything " 3:13
Heihachi was there in Tekken 1 back in 1994, JUST IMAGINE ALL THE MEMORIES🥹🥹, many people want him to come back, You cant just killed off some truly iconic characters and then expect some random newcomers to fill the void they had left if you put some newcomers to fill the void , not only they doesnt close the void, hell, the void grows even larger, until the legend themselves come back to fill the void🥹🥹
Coming back here from Tekken 8 final battle, Heihachi was a fucking beast. Kazuya beats entire cast, and Jin himself needed some crazy buffs to win, while old man just went all out and beaten the crap out of him. Yeah, he died, but pushed Devil to his absolute limit with nothing but THESE HANDS. Rest in peace Hei.
Kazuya got a huge power boost from absorbing azazel even then fighters like Reina and Lars were putting up a good fight before he got mad and would use his one hit blast to end the fight
This is not the same Devil Kazuya smh despite having similar look. True Devil Kazuya is the one in T8 and absorbing Azazel, this one isn't. Heihachi is badass but this is just wank.
I never played any of the Tekken games, but I watched all the ending throughout most of the games out of curiosity, and I noticed the game has a lot of emphasis on smirks. And seeing Heihachi smirk the way he did, it was kind of cool seeing him do that one last time.
The best thing in Tekken 7. It would be nice if Namco did the similar cutscenes of fights with another charachters- Bryan vs Yoshimitsu, Jin vs Hwoarang etc.
the fact that, unlike other ones that faced kazuya (like akuma) saying to each other that the place is their grave, heihachi just says "i thought it was apt" knowing that he's going to die, makes everything more amazing, like "if i'm going to die, at least i'm gonna give you a hell of a time doing that"
After all that fighting and hatred, we finally discover that Kazuya and Heihachi were not so different. Both of them were victim of the feud and now we know why. If Heihachi didn't betray Kazuya, it would've been Kazumi who would, showing that his fall was inevitable. As for Heihachi, he lost his wife and his son hates him, thus leading to the events that happened in the series. Despite their conflict being at the center of the stage, none of them were really at fault for what started, it was Kazumi who was the unwitting architect of this feud between father and son. It all began with the mother, whom both love dearly. All we did was find ourselves in the crossfire. Heihachi said the Mishimas were not you're average human, their very presence could cause a cataclysm beyond reason and comprehension. Now that we know the truth, Kazuya realizes that if his father didn't throw him off a cliff, then his mother would've been the one who tried to kill him. By that time, Kazuya is now all, but a broken man deprived of his enemy, whom he spent his whole life trying to kill and when he did, it only made him feel more empty and felt with Heihachi dead, there's no worthy enough to fight him. Kazuya's life is very sad and in the end, no one not even Heihachi got the last laugh, just somber silence. Even victorious, Kazuya's strongest reason for power is gone and who's left to challenge him wouldn't be as worthy as Heihachi, like he said hating his father was his strongest reason for living and now that's he's dead, he has nothing, despite being at the top and having it all again. He has his power, yet he lost his greatest purpose, truly a tragic outcome.
I know it would have made Kazuya look terrible, losing three fights in a row to Heihachi, but damn it, I really wanted to see the old man come out on the winning side here! He was clearly outmatched, but still, he never relented, fighting with everything he had up until the very end. Regardless of Heihachi's past sins, I can't help but greatly respect and admire such willpower and determination.
Kazuya defeated Heihachi in Tekken 4, but did not want control of Mishima Zaibatsu, in return he wanted the location of Jin. Heihachi took him to the temple and Kazuya woke up Jin's Devil Gene who was trapped in the temple, the boy woke up and defeated both Kazuya and Heihachi.
Tekken 1 - Kazuya won. Tekken 2 - Kazuya entered into a mental conflict with himself (Devil x Angel) which made possible the victory of Heihachi. Kazuya was thrown into the volcano. Tekken 3 - Kazuya was dead. Tekken 4 - Jin was stuck in Honmaru, so without any competition Kazuya destroyed all the competitors of the Iron Fist Tournamment 4 and defeated Heihachi in the finals and in exchange for leaving Mishima Zaibatsu still with Heihachi, he asked for Jin's location. Tekken 5 - Kazuya gave up in the middle of the tournament after learning that the G-Corporation was spying on him through Raven, so he gave up before facing Heihachi and took control of the G-Corporation. Jin defeated Heihachi and then Jinpachi in the finals. Tekken 6 - They did not meet because of Kazuya's focus being on Jin. Heihachi gave up participating in the tournament. The tournament did not have a conclusion due to Azazel's interference. Tekken 7 - Kazuya won and killed Heihachi. So as we can see from the canonical line, Kazuya has always been superior to Heihachi.
@@EvilPumpkin I am not arguing, just pointing out, that "superior" kaz is biologically 45 years younger than Heihachi and has power of all hell (you can call it roid rage perhaps) behind him and still almost lost. Fighting Jin is well above his league.
lol no. His fighting style and his habilities (a lot of habilities) just aren't for Tekken. Akuma felt right because both games aren't too different and they already had a crossover before Tekken 7.
Sora Light That just wouldn't work out. They'd have to force a bullshit reason down people's throats to explain how they're even in the same time period. Plus their mechanics just don't fit with that of Tekken. You'd just have a bunch of long range spammers abusing fireballs, shurikens and other projectiles. Tekken's not about that. Even the characters that can use long range abilities in tekken I.e. all Devils and(T7) Akuma are put in a very vulnerable position where they are grounded or locked in position to be punished for taking the risk to perform that move.(High risk, High reward) Characters in naruto just pop their substitution. And even if they adjusted them to where they couldn't abuse everything I stated, I doubt naruto fans would be happy playing a naruto with immense changes and restrictions. Plus they'd actually have to learn to fight with more than the o button for regular punching and kicking combos. And we all know crossovers are done to promote 2 or more franchises, I am pretty sure one or the other would be pissed with the changes. Just some facts and some opinion as to why I believe it's a bad fit.
I dont think Heihachi was "The good guy" Kazumi tried to kill him knowing he would become this sort of EVIL DICTATOR... Kasuya comes to be just a casualty in the story since hes evil intentions comes from both personal issues and genes...they are both wrong either way
Heihachi became an evil dictator BECAUSE Kazumi tried to kill him. She fulfilled the prophecy. He didn't start becoming the Heihachi players knew until after he realized that she only joined the clan specifically to kill him rather than out of love.
Joshimaki well your right about that the Hachijo clan intentions are purely simple and are actually share the same goals like most devil users. Azazael intentions was evil but he shared the same thought of killing all sinners, the Hachijos wanted to kill all the forces who are aimed to become evil in the near future eventually. Heihachi and Kazumi was both rught and wrong about their fates, but it needed to happen anyway because her clan of the Devil can sense evil presence producing around those particular individuals who true intentions are not develop yet. The only Devil beings who doesn't share the same beliefs is Devil Jin and Devil aka Devil Kazuya who goals are either pure destruction while the other is take over the world and kill all opposing forces.
Before Kazumi tried to kill him, Heihachi had already defeated and imprisoned Jinpachi and taken control of his company. THEN she saw that he had no way of salvation and tried to kill him. Which definitely made things worse.
I have to stand up for the dad in this point. if I born a son and he was part devil I hate to say this but I would done what I had to do to protect this world from demons
@@EvilPumpkin no, actually Jinpachi was imprisoned after that incident. Heihachi himself states that Kazumi went to Jinpachi's dojo and they fell in love. So in that moment Heihachi was a good guy. his descent to madness was after Kazumi's betrayal.

Heihachi, the only human who could take down devil gene users and the ogre, the mishima style master. I always thought of him as the strongest tekken character who would give you the most trouble in the game.
@@PublicStqticVoidever since Tekken 3 Heihachi experimented on himself and other people in order to gain more power/immortality through acquiring Ogre's blood/Devil gene because he knows he's getting old. In Tekken 4 he wanted to capture both Kazuya and Jin to extract the Devil stuff for himself. Tekken Tag 2 though non canon shows that Heihachi modified himself to be younger through his research.

@@dotpixel2226 That to me is preferable to just straight up bringing him back as a Devil or the like.

The same Kazuya that was confused due to the whole mental struggle as well as seemigky slacking of his training after killing Heihachi(he only trains for vengeance, while Heihachi legit loves martial arts, this is my eyes is a big disadvantage for Kazuya)
In tekken 7 Kazuya was in control but to be fair this form was new and propably not mastered yet which may have caused him to drop out of it
Otherwise i agree fully with the comment,Heihachi wouldnt go down until he died by his human son
26 years worth of anger behind it
Now all I know, is if Tekken 8 is the FINAL Tekken game, Harada better tie up the loose end and give the fans closure... Is Jun Kazama alive or not... we only seen her in Tekien 2 & the Tekken Tag games and the Tag ganes aren't canon to the actual Tekken story
So if Tekken 8 is the final piece of the story, that question needs to finally be answered... if shes alive its only fitting she finally shows up at the final showdown between Jin & Kazuya to end it all... would love for Tekken to finally end with Jin, Kazuya & Jun all in the same place at the same time... that's never happened before
This aged well
Apparently is just the end of the Mishima saga , not the series itself
It ends with a new Era of Evil ready to cover the world. Only Jun will be the one to face it.

Hopefully they let some of the other characters in on the story next time, and not go all Soul Calibur 5 on us by putting Jin as the be-all and end-all of the story.
this fight was a straight rip off of mgs4s final battle. seriously youtube it.
i hope tekken 8 has jun in it to make the story line with jin and kazuya more intresting
I would like Tekken 8 to be a two part video game. The destruction of the devil gene and the complete annihilation of the Hachijo bloodline and the devil gene it comes with. Also I don't mind if Lars being the new Mishima CEO instead of Jin
Jin will have son 100% XD
Aleksandar Tasevski i don't think Jin would have a kid , he wanted to die without children but he probably will have one with xiaoyu when he lose his devil gene
Honestly, in Tekken 8, I think it’ll be the final one because Tekken 7 solved the story for the Mishima viewpoint. Now, it’s time to see if Jun is actually dead or alive and if kazuya would die. Maybe, jin can be freed from the devil gene after they stopped the war.
Prince-Jae Jun is not dead , Jin thinks she's dead because she got attacked by ogre but she's actually missing
As a Jin fanboy, the post-credits scene of him controlling the devil gene gave me major goosebumps. I can’t wait for the final showdown of him and Kazuya in Tekken 8.

Problem with this quote is that it assumes that in any culture the kids actually question any of their parents moral choices in parenthood and I think everyone knows for a fact (especially white Americans in my experience) that they mostly don’t, cause most people want to love their parents which is a problem socially and internationally. The only time people disagree heavily with their parents overtime is if they were dealt a bad hand and went through personal problems with them, like actual abuse (which is not the only reason to judge your parents), but otherwise gratitude and unconditional love is what keeps people from actually judging their parents.

heihachi was at his peak in every way in t3. after that it was very slowly downhill as he was still great in t4 but after that he was noticeably weaker and slower in 5,6,7,
Fuck that revisionist bullshit.
Heihachi was rotten to the core ever since the beginning. Bastard got what he deserved.
Kazuya only looks more evil retroactively because Heihachi has a better sense of humor about things. If you look past that, Heihachi is definitively the worse of the two evils.
@@megabuster3940 you kiddin right? how was heihachi bad in anyway? he loved his family so much but his own wife betrayed and tried to kill him (she had the devil gene), so he had to kill her in self defence. he wanted to end the devil gene bloodline once and for all to save the world from destruction so he had to throw his son off a cliff.

i have played every tekken from 1 to 7, but didn't find heihachi to be an evil person at all. he always got betrayed by his own family members, his father, jinpachi tried to assume control over the mishima while heihachi was away, his wife tried to kill him. he always minded his business until some other person came to interrupt it
If you noticed, Kazuya didn't say "You killed my mother" nor Heihachi shedded a tear for Kazumi. No idea why they cut that out.
aligamerable
Kazuya hated his own Mother because she never loved him anyway so yeah.
Nah man. You're wrong. The only people that loved Kazuya were Jinpachi, Kazumi and Jun Kazama. Kazuya discovered Kazumi's true intentions in T7 but he didn't believe it. Since all of them are dead (Jun is alive but thought dead) thus Kazuya has become all evil.
aligamerable
How is Jun alive?
Here's your answer, Word of Harada himself.

Because at this point, both Kazuya and Heihachi were just fighting to see who is more powerful rather than for any higher purpose
11:48 If you ever feel useless, then just think about Kazuya in this scene...
I'm glad they gave Heihachi a proper send off. After spending the last 3 games as a comic relief, not only is he treated completely seriously but he gets to go out with a bang
rip Heihachi (1994-2017).
TRUE WARRIOR If he survived , that would be the dumbest way to continue the story , because Tekken 7 is "final" between Mishimas fight.
Never Forgot him.
Movie Killer he my age then
Movie Killer lol
It's simply the best, but the King of Tekken is kazuya
Rewatching this after seeing TK8's amazing final battle... This just shows how strong Heihachi was, throwing hands with the Demon Lord and giving Kaz the trauma he had before... This was a great way to end his era and now Kazuya hopefully be "cured" by Jun after the events of TK8
Well Kazuya is stronger in Tekken 8 than he was in Tekken 7.
They used their monk magic to give him the illusion he fell into the lava.

Angra Mainyu The only ones who defeated Heihachi without devil gene:
1)Kazuya(Tekken 1, Tekken 4);

Honestly this story mode wasn’t bad and this fight was literally what I had been waiting for since I discovered this series back in high school.
One of the most memorable fights in a video game
😊😊😊😊
Baek isn't dead
The kids would get the devil gene and end up starting a new chain of events no different then what has already happened.
Could make for a nice fanfic
@@chuckingreaper8654
Instead of repeating the same thing....
This is just the MGS4 final battle between two old dudes in a deserted place.

Jun needs to comeback, Jin needs to realize the history of his grandma's clan/Devil/Kazuya, and Asuka needs to stop Jin because she too possess the same angelic blood of her non-blood related clan relatives that is the mirror version of the Devil Gene.
ytraPredruMxeS kratos comes in kills him or kazuya and says "the cycle end's here"

I have a feeling that in Tekken 8, Kazuya will be the main antagonist as he uses both his Devil Gene and G. Corp. to further make the war even worse and to terrorize.
But I want Kazuya to win :(

This ending totally took me by surprise. The Tekken story has been apart of my life for about 18 years and, although I never really understand the story, I always perceived Heihachi as the ultimate bad guy. I genuinely felt bad for him in that, he was actually a good guy who turned evil after he lost everything he loved. Perhaps that's the message of his story arc. The potential for awesome destructive power has its maximum effectiveness when we experience loss. It's during loss that we must be at our strongest and fight the hardest!
Eh...no. Heihachi killed his father just so he could take over the Zaibatsu and lead it in the direction he wanted. He was never a, "good guy".
Heihachi was a piece of useless shit from day one when he imprisoned his father all the way to when he killed Kazumi and threw Kazuya away and going even further beyond until his death. If you perceive this character as any form of ''good'' there is something wrong with you.

Ya bro this tekken 7 final fight feels very exciting i say ❤
Kazuya got a huge power boost from absorbing azazel even then fighters like Reina and Lars were putting up a good fight before he got mad and would use his one hit blast to end the fight
This is not the same Devil Kazuya smh despite having similar look. True Devil Kazuya is the one in T8 and absorbing Azazel, this one isn't. Heihachi is badass but this is just wank.
this is why i hate reina, that fanart character, she is no way near, not even by a pixel, to heichachi
It would be nice if Namco did the similar cutscenes of fights with another charachters- Bryan vs Yoshimitsu, Jin vs Hwoarang etc.
the fact that, unlike other ones that faced kazuya (like akuma) saying to each other that the place is their grave, heihachi just says "i thought it was apt" knowing that he's going to die, makes everything more amazing, like "if i'm going to die, at least i'm gonna give you a hell of a time doing that"
I wouldn't worry about Heihachi in Tekken 8. He can make an appearance as a flashback, like Kazumi in this game.
And then apparently he was saved by a monk.....
that was the best fighting game for me, i'll remember it forever, goodbye tekken 7!
2:56 love this laser sound

11:45
The last we'll see of Heihachi. Bye bye. We'll miss you...
JKF 201726 Didn't Kazuya win in tekken 4?
Kazuya defeated Heihachi in Tekken 4, but did not want control of Mishima Zaibatsu, in return he wanted the location of Jin. Heihachi took him to the temple and Kazuya woke up Jin's Devil Gene who was trapped in the temple, the boy woke up and defeated both Kazuya and Heihachi.
Sr.Uchiha™ Yeah that's what im saying, people say Kazuya lost but if so, why the hell would Kazuya go with Heihachi to the temple?
The fact that Heihachi can match Devil Gene users, despite being human…. I don’t know if I ever want to throw hands with him.

Best Tekken game ever.
For the Next Tekken tittle they should add another Crossover character. Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto would be Nice!
No more crossovers that's what ruined Tekken 7 in the first place
@@soralight_x no why would you even dude?
The type of relationship my dad and I have. Memories
Seeing this again makes me want to go back and play this fight again
I like how the fight started off with fancy attacks, but then slowly turns into a slug fest. Now that's how you make an epic fight scene!!!
13:55 so it means that jin finally learned to controll his demon form ?
can't believe he was 75 years old
74.
At 09:53, Heihachi's last famous headbutt.
Now it comes to Kazama and Kazuya. Only one fighter will be left standing to end it all.
RIP Heihachi. You are the best.
He still alive
Heihachi, the only human who could take down devil gene users and the ogre, the mishima style master. I always thought of him as the strongest tekken character who would give you the most trouble in the game.
He's not really a human tho
@@vesha6274 How
@@PublicStqticVoidever since Tekken 3 Heihachi experimented on himself and other people in order to gain more power/immortality through acquiring Ogre's blood/Devil gene because he knows he's getting old. In Tekken 4 he wanted to capture both Kazuya and Jin to extract the Devil stuff for himself. Tekken Tag 2 though non canon shows that Heihachi modified himself to be younger through his research.
@rain7895 i might want to research harder cause at the end of those experiments it said that they all failed. And it wasn't directly for him.
So he's one hundred percent human
Wait I thought Jin took down Orge in Tekken 3?
4:14 mada mada
I NEED HEALING
Antimatter_ Playz greetings xD
Hanzo: Me sad, bro ded

Genji: Handsoap plz

Muda muda
At 9:00 I thought Kazumi's gonna come out to stop them to fight because her Theme song played.
Dark Raider
Kazumi's theme is also Heihachi's lament theme.
2017: Heihachi Mishima is dead
2024: Are you sure about that ?
Heihachi Mishima is completely dead
That's Why the title says : "Resurrection"
Harada wasnt lie when he says heihachi is dead, but he never promise to never resurrect him either
3:13 the delivery of this line was PERFECT. He said it with so much repressed anger, resemtment and hate you can hear it.
I actually felt the sadness where heihachi was coming from he tried to kill his son in confusion and I feel bad for heihachi but also kazuya.without knowing his own mother wanted him dead or killed which wasn’t fair for both of them and the music playing at 9:50 to 10:03 is just how you show what life can be and what’s behind the madness.
Kazuya VS Heihachi reminds me of Kratos VS Zeus
Mixey Boy Albeit more tragic, so better!
Mixey Boy
This Fight is better than God OF War.
XxxJim_ the_ ReaperxxX lets not get Crazy,It really isn't
@@thanosthemadtitan2037 Why not? GoW would not let you control Zeus :)
