Mikes comment “Megan I’m more in love with you now after this” is precious! Everyone loved it and that’s all that matters! Definitely a very involved pie. Loving every pie you make-especially love the kids comments. I love your edits!
That looks so delicious. If I made this I’d definitely make the “stew” part of it in bulk and freeze it. There’s a lot of work and time involved and I’d be requested to make it all the time I’m sure.
I love Megan giggling in the background as Mike describes how incredibly delicious it is! Like the turning the bowl over for a pie cover is an awesome tip. Never would have thought of that! Thumbs up!
Every day I am thankful for what God has given me and for the health of my family and friends. One of the other things I am thankful for is your RUclips channel and the example you and your family demonstrate as a loving, successful, well rounded and fun family unit!
When my oldest grandson was little he loved Krispy Kreme donuts. So we would always take him some when we visited. He would close his eyes, take a bite and say he was in Krispy Kreme Heaven! Every time Mike closes his eyes I think of my Grandson! Lol Guinness beer is bitter I think! Beautiful and rustic! Yummmm!
Oh wow I can smell it from here! Only yesterday I commented on a beef and mushroom pie and here it is. We eat this at least once a week in the winter and yes we're Irish. We are loving September pies so much and think your family are too. Blessings to you all. 🙏
We just have steak pie here in Scotland, mainly eaten on new years day. My local butcher sells hundreds during the week between Christmas and New year eve. It is one pie that I don't like. And I doubt our pies don't have any veg or bacon in them but it loom good. Have really enjoyed your videos this month shows the variety of what a pie can be.
This has been the most enjoyable series/labour of love and deliciousness 💜😊 My husband is celebrating a birthday soon, and this pie is going to be part of his “Birthday Week Celebrations” 🎂🎂 Thank you Knorpp Family, as always, for sharing!
I'm being repetitive, but every day is so much fun! I am so glad that you are going to be posting you're, new recipe. I love a stout beer, but I am so Leary about using it to cook with, And now you have fixed that! The editing is perfect! Love a little comic relief also. I'm excited to try this pie! Thank you so very much.
OMG I love the tip for putting leftover pie in a bowl that's been turned over, thanks. Your steak and ale soup looked delicious as well, I may have to try this.
I'm definitely making it !!i in bed, ready to sleep and why do i watch your videos this time?i want to eat now this pie!!love September pies!!!♥️💙💜❤️🧡💛💚
I have that same problem with buying alcohol for cooking because I dont drink either and it sits around and goes bad. But thankfully my grocery store and also some convenience stores sell single cans of beer or ale. Maybe take a look sometime and see if some of your stores do that too. You wont go back after tasting it with beer. It makes it taste gourmet and complex in some amazing way and more robust and hearty. This pie looks like it would be my very favorite even how you have made it. Thank you xo
Looks so yummy been really enjoying pie month! My mom use to make this delicious Chicken pot pie with only a top crust in a nine by thirteen pan. Thank you Meagan for all your hard work making and sharing your delicious looking pies. I have to say it was very calming watching you bake and loved your family’s response’s after they took their first bite. 💗
It's my favorite to and haven't even had it yet much dad made great stew s sherry. Think well add mushrooms and pie it. Thanks for the inspiration! Yum. Next print or summer. Try the fresh strawberry when in season! U guys r great! Love the thrifting! We r thrifted too!💕
Okay that does it! YOU'RE HIRED! And I just have to say... Loved The plaid chairs when you bought them they are perfect for your home and your family, but I just got a really good shot of the chair with the books on the mantle and the picture of the SAVIOR! AND IT WAS BREATHTAKING BEAUTIFUL! ❤️
That is a beautiful pie!!! Back to the grocery store for ingredients. My husband thinks I'm not planning my trips to town efficiently. I explained I'm on a need know basis. He asked what's for dinner, I explained HE'S on a need know basis
Another great pie! Daily pies has been a lot of work and has been a fun series to watch! Thank you. For the future ideas might be weekly: Cookies Soups Breads Cakes/cupcakes Craft ideas Book reviews You do so many interesting things I know you’ll keep us interested and entertained.
I said this already but Megan this months content I love , I still love your other videos , but you have had such good pies so bravo Megan bravo , Lol, y'all are the best!
Yes this is right up my alley I love steak and ale pie (English ), meat and potato is another good one in England , steak and kidney , my favorite is cheese And onion . Also Trader Joe's sells a frozen version of steak and ale and it's pretty good .
Hi Ryan's mom Sam here.... again I'm British and this pie is my hubby favourite it's a standard in our house ( especially on New years day it's a must 😁 ) and Megan you did it proud it looked amazing Well done 😯 a little tip I cook my meat the day before it give it time to rest and becomes really tender but this was Beautiful my mouth is drooling 🤪😂
I'm definitely going to try this one. Definitely. Looks amazing! Also, I love the way Andrew gives his review on the pies. His descriptions are the real deal😍
I've really enjoyed watching your pie series .... I've made two of your pies so far, the Irish Potato Pie and the Orange Creamsicle pie and both were a big hit! I'll definitely be making this pie for sure! Thanks!
can hardly wait to try this one/ BTW- you can buy a single can of beer at most liquor stores...so next time, make it with beer/ale and let us know the difference in taste
Just to let you know the ales and beers have low amounts of alcohol which is nice when you're cooking because the flavor is just in there from the different things they used to create the beer. But by the time you finish cooking it all the alcohol part is gone and the flavor is left. I personally do not drink either as I have chronic kidney disease. So I cannot have alcohol but I would have it in a casserole. God bless you and yours. Love, jenwhite 🥰 ❤ 💖
Mike, you don't have to apologize for the noisy background. Everyone that watches knows you have a large family. It's ok. Your vlogs are so cool the way they are.
I just found out about September Pie month YESTERDAY!! How did I miss all these videos!!?? I guess having a baby on September 5th would have anyone out of the loop. Long story short I binged watched ALL the videos yesterday and today while nursing my newborn. I’m so sad there’s no more videos to watch. This was better than Netflix! Now all I want to do is make pies but I can’t… I’m still in recovery mode. I’ll just have to live vicariously through your pies until November. Love you guys! Keep up the good work… I need all the wholesome content I can get while recovering… it’s good for a mama’s soul.
That looked so delish! In the future, if you want to make anything with puff pastry, you can roll it out to where it covered the pie dish. No biggie that you had to patch it up!
Hahaha they say that the British can't cook but your kids have loved your British pies. It could of course be the way you make it that makes it good. By the way ale is just beer
I’ve really enjoyed the month of September pies. Maybe for October you could do casserole of the day or slow cooker meals for the month? Very enjoyable to watch. Thank you!
I know you guys loved France and south of Germany. How about you try a Zwiebelkuchen. (Onion pie) It’s the perfect time and it is originally served in the south of Germany and the Vosges with the first young wine. Apple cider also goes very well with it. Thanks for all your inspirations and the fun you bring along. Lots of love to all of you from the Black Forest.
Before the September pies I had been watching sporadic videos without subscribing. September pies convinced me to subscribe and I love your videos. Thank you for doing this series. Hopefully it will inspire you to do more series during the year. Still waiting to see if there will be a “no sugar added” or “sugar free” sweet pie this last week. 😊
Meat pies are a standard part of british diet... most have both top abd bottom crust.. shortcrust pastry blinbaked on the bottom and either shortcrust or flaky/puff pastry for the top. Steak and ale, steak abd wine, steak and stilton, chicken leek and bacon... we dont consider this complex cooking...typically make the filling on day 1, often in slow cooker(handy when working full time). Assemble the pastry and pie and cook on day 2.. savoury pies, pasties(hand pies) sausage rolls, pork pies.. all delicious
did you know you can now buy alcohol free Guinness in can's and it will last for 3-4 years before it goes off - so you can get the lovely flavour in your next meat pie you try for the family because going into a USA winter now I am sure it will be used
Ms Megan my mouth was watering as you spoon your creation into your pie dishes. You should open a Cafe "September Pie's " your amazing. Also love the music with this series.

I liked the line-up of carrot tops watching the proceedings from the edge of the cutting board.
I am so going to miss these pie videos . Thank you for your hard work, it has been my relaxation.

Love the hairstyle! Can't believe you spent time here in Ireland, Wowser!
I had a traditional beef pie on London that this reminds me off. Burned my mouth terribly, but very worth it.
They just keep getting better and better. I’m a savory girl myself, and this one just screams comfort food 😋 definitely saving this recipe.

No, no, no. Keep your hair curly and unruly on top. 💯on the pie.❤
I’m sad that September pies is almost finished. I’ve absolutely loved watching every day.

Andrew, possibly your next adventure in life could be food critic for different restaurants around town! Just a thought!
Ok Megan...I just gained some weight watching you make these yummy pies. They look so mouth watering...
did you know you can now buy alcohol free Guinness in can's and it will last for 3-4 years before it goes off - so you can get the lovely flavour in your next meat pie you try for the family because going into a USA winter now I am sure it will be used
I just know this one was amazing!
Ms Megan my mouth was watering as you spoon your creation into your pie dishes. You should open a Cafe "September Pie's " your amazing. Also love the music with this series.
You can roll out puff pastry to size, and it will still puff up Yours looks great!
I really should have! It would have been so much prettier!
Love you guys so much. Wish I could do pies like you
Will you give a list of all your pies on the last pie video? Also, you should rank them by which pies get the most high marks.
Yes! We’ll do a video kinda looking back and reflecting on the month of pies!
Well, I know what I’m making for dinner tomorrow 😋
