I have to say this would be my number one sweet pie although all your pies looked superb. My late husband would have loved this month of pies....he loved anything in a crust. Thank you for this month of pies and I can tell this will be a favorite family memory down through the ages. Have a Blessed day.
I don't even want September to end. I have been copying all the pies you are cooking and making. My kids have been loving the experience. They are pie lovers now!
FYI A SECRET WHEN PLACING CAKES OR PIES ON A PLATE OR STAND. Always place a spoonful of the icing or topping then place the pie or cake on the stand /plate & it won’t slide when slicing. I don’t know why I didn’t give this suggestion earlier. I am going to miss daily pies. GOD BLESS FROM JULIE WEST CENTRAL INDIANA FARMLAND ✝️🇺🇸😊🚜
I keep watching your subscriber numbers, hoping to see a big boost! Man, people are missing out if they don’t subscribe to your channel. I’ve been for years, but the changes you’re making to it over the past few months are stellar! Loving this series, Megan and Mike!
What the world needs is to sit around the table together in anticipation of the pie Mom has so lovingly prepared especially for them. Partakers all, individual voices of gratitude. Cherry on top- Dad saying he’s more in love with Mom for her delicious pies. All of which is about so much more than pie. Thank you for inviting us into your home and into your lives.
“… This is like the purest s’more experience.” As a homeschool mom who requires a lot of narration, I think the pie narrations are my favorite part. Your children are delightful.
This goes here: Mike laughs at being philosophical about pie, but I agree with Megan... It's a topic that goes deep into our psyche. It's about healing childhood wounds, taking the place of that missing piece in your heart stolen by the jack of hearts, and why jazz had to be the background music 🎶. It's about the soul man. I've only begun to pontificate on pies, the process, and the enigma-pie.
I’m loving everything about the September pie 🥧 theme. Can’t wait for October soups!!! In these crazy times.. it brings our focus back to what’s it’s all about home and hearth . Thank you 🙏
Love Mike's reaction 😂.. Good point that it's better..then being at the Fire pit..not as messy!! You are out doing yourself!!! Congratulations to Esther...
I am going to miss these videos in October! You all need to do a family bracket where your fam votes on your favorites! A savory bracket vs sweet bracket with one ultimate winner between the two!
Helpful tip from a former professional baker - Use a 1/2 cup metal measuring cup to flatten and gently spread your Graham cracker crust on the bottom and up the side of tart pan. This will spread it evenly every time and actually allow the crust to come up the side fully and evenly.
Thank you for September Pies! I have not made one yet - but you can bet that I will!! That Marshmallow Meringue is actually what I’ve always known as Seven Minute Frosting. Mom always made Angel food cake with Seven Minute frosting for all of our birthdays - and you know that we were licking beaters too! It makes beautiful cakes that you can decorate so many ways. Mom has been gone a few years now - and we are all in our 50’s and 60’s - but we’ll never forget those cakes!
I too have LOVED! LOVED! your September pies series of videos! Lots that I want to make! Especially the sweet potato pie, the steak one with the dried mushrooms and ale!
Which pies would you do over now that your pie-making skills have improved so much? Also, IMO lemon meringue and key lime pies are at the top in terms of best pies ever.
I wish September was longer lol I love seeing what the Pie of the day is. Can't wait to see what everyone's no.1 pie is. There should be sections, the Best Sweet, the Best Savoury and Number 1 Overall.
I checked out the recipe. Could you tell us what brand of chocolate pieces did you use? Did you use semi sweet or bittersweet pieces? Thank you, the pie looked delicious 😋
OMG, I want a piece of his pie. I don't thinkI can make the topping. I love Mike's expression every time he takes his first bite of each pie Megan made.
So funny, Mike isn’t a wine Connoisseur but he is a pie connoisseur closing his eyes to concentrate how the pie tastes. That’s so funny.. I would do it too. Lol
You guys would probably love the s'mores dip, where you take chocolate and marshmallows and put them in a cast iron skillet and melt them then use graham crackers to dip in it.
I was thinking hey did I miss Megan adding the marshmallows? Then I looked at the recipe, no marshmallows-just sugar, egg whites, salt and vanilla, wow! What brand chocolate did you use? Everyone raved the chocolate was so good. Will definitely have to make this one. Looks yummy!!😋
Megan, I'm dying to know exactly what brand of chocolate you used for the ganache...I'd love to get the same types of reactions when I try to make it! Lol
When you sing or hum when you’re eating that hands down is a Winner I will definitely look this recipe up and make it for Halloween 🎃 tfs it looked absolutely delicious 😋 🥰
I think October should be a pumpkin foods month...or Soups month, or Pastas dishes which could include pasta salads. There should be a once a week cooking or baking episode IMO. Blessings, love and prayers for all, from Israel 🇮🇱
@@user-zk6wd3ko3f Drooling is a complement. Why the animosity?? I thought the pie looked delicious. My goodness is the Knorpp's condoning name calling and bullying now?
I have loved September Pies! I’m gonna miss it. This looks really good, but lemon is my favorite. And of the savory pies, I really want to try that tomato pie. I’ll have to wait till next summer though. Hopefully, my tomatoes will do better then, because they were a disaster this year.
I never try to sell my items. I send everything to Goodwill. I do have items that I keep even though I am not currently using the items. There are alot of great memories of the times that I have used or worn an item.
This can’t end!!!We need the month of delish for October
I know!!!
At the end of the month, you should make your family all vote for the top 10 pies that you’ve made.
I am loving the September Pies Soundtrack.
I'm loving the jazz as well 😊

I am going to miss this!! Love the music, love the blue against the cutting board, love watching the pies being made, love Megan, love the family!!
I don't even want September to end. I have been copying all the pies you are cooking and making. My kids have been loving the experience. They are pie lovers now!
Definitely going to have to be sweet and savory winners for the pie. You've done an amazing job Megan.

🥧 Love the reactions of Mike and the kids. Always love your music choices that accompany each pie. 🥧
I don't want September pies to ever end. This has been one of the best things ever, definitely in my top 8 😂.

Watching Mike eat and reviews these pies has been one of my favorite parts! Haha. He does a great job at explaining what the pies taste like!
Yes please do a podcast! Lets get philosophical about pies. My favorite :)
Your family’s reaction made my mouth water!!
It's the closing of the eyes with each bite for me 😆 I love how much Mike thoroughly enjoys all the pies lol

I hope you do a review of favorites....maybe top 3 each savory and sweet?
We need another month! 💕
Did I miss, what brand of chocolate chips did you use? I imagine the flavor and brand would affect the flavor of the ganache?
Kirkland Signature from Costco!
Loved the photography of the finished pie. Was that slow motion? Either way, so professional. Made my mouth water.
Did you use semi-sweet or bittersweet Chocolate?
Semi sweet!

I’m feeling so inspired to make pies this fall!! Also, I’m curious what equipment you use to get the camera shots of you baking?
